He smiled at her in between the kiss showing his pearly whites...even his smile was brighter. "Thanks...For understanding. "
He then lowered his head and kissed her chest again and that was when he started to unzip her zipper in her lower back. He was nervous. Though she would know by the way his hands were trembling. But he knew she would understand for she said nothing about it. He returned kissing her lips as his other hand went up and down on her side...He was taking this rather slow, but he wanted to enjoy this moment with her and he knew she wanted the same thing.
His love for her was like wild fire however, strike him and place him in wind and he can't stop pretty soon there's a forest fire you can no longer control....There was no way Brooke could stop him even if she wanted to now. He didn't want to stop either.There was strong chemistry between these two...And it was so going on right now. As they made love to each other all after noon....He was getting better every second...
Pretty soon before they knew it was all over though....For it was night time again. Yeah vampires could do this all day long and not stop. He was laying with her the couch was wide enough for them both. It was almost as a bed...He had wrapped a blanket around both their bodies....And he was holding her hand in his as he kissed her cheek as his fingers continued to intertwine with hers....."I could've gone on forever...."He whispered in her ear.... |

Brooke smiled at him as they laid there on the couch, she had never felt this close to someone after sex and she enjoyed the feeling of wholeness it gave her. "What makes you think I wanted you to stop?" she asked him softly. She played with his hair with her free hand while the other one was intertwined with his fingers. A sigh escaped her lips, a small happy one.
"Hey... I am still here... This is a first..." She told him, "But there is nowhere else I would rather be right now than here with you." she added. "Though I think your family might begin to wonder what happened to you..." she mused.

"What makes you think I wanted you to stop?" "Hey... I am still here... This is a first..." He smiled as he leaned his body over her chest and laid his head on top of her chest as his arm draped over her side..."I'd be said if you left any way...." He replied....
"But there is nowhere else I would rather be right now than here with you." "Though I think your family might begin to wonder what happened to you..."
"Let them wonder...I really don't think they have any thing to worry about now. They're safe you're safe. That's all that matters...." Maybe being with Brooke was giving him a second chance to do things right. Where with Bella he really screwed up on her....But with Brooke he had a new chance with her. And so far he was showing her some thing he would never give Bella. Or Bella would not let him give...He hated to use the word sex. But that's what it was. But this was special...It was amazing.
"So this is what after glow is..." He teased her back.

Brooke smiled widely, the time spent with him was amazing. Her fingers slid through his hair slowly as she laid there, "If you tempt me I might never let you leave. Spending the time away from you in my hotel room might get lonely." she told him, "Though where else can I keep my vast wardrobe?" she joked slightly.
"Are you happy we did this?" She asked suddenly. She had a small frown on her face as she thought about it. Maybe should should have stopped him. Maybe she should have said no. Maybe she should stop thinking this much because they had both enjoyed themselves but she couldn't help but worry about his happiness.

"Oh we'd have the room...If Rosalie has the room then you will darling..." He wanted her to so live with him and the other Cullens in their home now. Esme was so right about Brooke.....Edward was glad he took his mother's advice....
"Are you happy we did this?" He at once lifted his head up from her chest and twisted his head to where he could look in her eyes...."You're kidding me right? Of course I am! Are you?" He asked as he bit his own lip when he actually saw her frown. She was worried? "You're thinking I regretted this? Honey...I don't regret this...You're it...And if my family has a problem with it? Then...The hell with them...." |

Brooke smiled, "I just wanted to make sure you were happy about it." she told him, "And if I wasn't happy would I still be lying beside you?" she asked, "Every other man I wouldn't have even considered staying with... With you it is all I want..." she told him softly. "And have you seen my wardrobe? Are you sure there is room for it? You might have to kick Rosalie out just to make room for it." she was only kidding with him about the Rosalie part.
"Though I would like moving in with you." she said after a moments consideration. "I am still slightly amazed how badly I continue to want you... I haven't wanted anyone like this ever.... Well, other than you know...." Luther came to mind for a brief second and was gone just as fast, replaced by an image of Edward instead. "Are you sure your family won't mind?" she asked quickly.

Edward couldn't but smiled big as he looked at her. But after that was said he laid his head back on her chest. With Brooke he was happier. It was showing. I am happy about it...You don't have to worry. You showed me what I was doing wrong....And made it better....." "Every other man I wouldn't have even considered staying with... With you it is all I want..."
"And have you seen my wardrobe? Are you sure there is room for it? You might have to kick Rosalie out just to make room for it." "Though I would like moving in with you."
"We'll make do with what we can babe. Don't worry about your stuff now okay." He smiled to himself as he looked at the time on his IPhone.....And smiled....It was only 7 pm...."I am still slightly amazed how badly I continue to want you... I haven't wanted anyone like this ever.... Well, other than you know...." Edward nodded. He knew. He also knew that she would understand now that if he mentioned Bella it would not matter if he did. Because he was with the one he was certain he was suppose to be with. And he had to thank Bella for that show of love and teaching him how to love someone. "When was the last time you had a meal darling?" He asked her softly. It was some thing that vampires like them would not normally talk about...But he had to know. Cause for him it's been a while....He needed a good meal too....Maybe they could hunt together tonight...

Brooke crinkled her nose for a moment as she thought about when she had fed last, "The few days ago..." she finally said, "Though eating would require moving from this spot." she said softly, "And I could stay here with you forever." her fingers moved out of his hair and danced across his upper back slowly.
"Though we should eat... I am a little hungry." Her eyes weren't the brilliant gold they usually were, a small ring of dark gold surrounding the blackness. "Now.... Where did my dress get tossed too?" she asked him.

Edward chuckled a bit. She had a point..."And I could stay here with you forever." "Good point....." He smiled as he felt her fingers through his hair. And he closed his eyes to savor this moment. He was at peace and relaxed now. Brooke did that for him. He with Bella was always constantly worrying about Bella's safety...And with Brooke he didn't have a thing to worry about. The thought of his family came in to mind. They would most likely not be happy with this change. But he knew Esme would be caring and understanding with the decision he's made. Things happen for a reason. And this might be one of those reasons. For Edward to have Brooke instead of Bella. "I need you to do some thing with me later on if you are okay with it..." He wanted to put Bella's decision to rest. He knew she was having trouble it. But he knew that this was the best way for everyone. Bella could go on with her life knowing Edward would not be alone in this world...And she can be with Jacob.
"Though we should eat... I am a little hungry." "Now.... Where did my dress get tossed too?"
Edward looked up and saw her dress flowed over a chair...."Over there my love..." He smiled....But he didn't want to move from this spot either....He was so comfortable in her arms.... |

"Anything you need dear." Brooke told him softly, "Just promise me whatever it is won't get messy..." she had a feeling she knew what it was and hoped Bella wouldn't take it badly. Her index finger traced circles on his back slowly as she fell silent for a moment. She turned her head to look at the dress he had located for her and then looked back at him, "At least if we ever move we know where it is." she said with a small shrug.
"How much longer do you think we could stay here until someone calls looking for you?" she asked, she was in no way in a rush to go anywhere. "Hmm... I just realized I dropped my phone when you hung up on me..." she muttered. She probably had at least one missed call from Esme looking forger son by now.

"Anything you need dear." He smiled...But would she really want to do this for him? That was the question that was going on his mind right now.
"I have to tell her sooner or later...I really need you there." She would know for a heart beat that he was talking about Bella."Just promise me whatever it is won't get messy..." Edward swallowed hard...That was a hard question to answer...."That depends on her part. We had a bond that was unbreakable once. Now, that bond has been replaced with a very fine line that can break easily."
"At least if we ever move we know where it is." He smiled...."How much longer do you think we could stay here until someone calls looking for you?" "I'm sure some one will be calling since I've been gone for almost two days. They worry a lot about me...Will that be a problem?" "Hmm... I just realized I dropped my phone when you hung up on me..."
Edward remembered that moment. He hated himself for doing that now to her. "I'm sorry...I scared you....I would never kill...Unless it's forced..." He hated to see death. He hated to see a human suffer too. If any one asked him to end their life for them because there was no way for them to recover then he might consider it. But if he was forced that was a different story. He knew the minute she arrived on the scene what he had done was not going to happen with her there.
And it happened Edward's cell ringed out and he grabbed it instantly. It was indeed Esme. She was worried about him....
"Hello? Yeah...I'm okay. I'm with...Brooke right now. It'll be a while before I get back home okay. Don't worry about me okay...And thank you for all the advice you gave me....You don't have to worry about me now...Okay...Bye..." He hung up his cell....And grabbed Brooke's hand in his...."You were right. That was Esme...She was worried....But I told her...Everything was alright..."

"I somehow knew she would be. I could tell she was a worrier when I first me her." Brooke told him with a small laugh. She moved her hand off him and propped herself up on it, "We should eat, darling." she told him, her eyes no longer had a hint of gold in them, pure blackness was all that could be seen. That accompanied by the slow burn in the back of her throat is the only thing that made her want to move.
She lifted his head off of her chest gently and kissed him softly, "I know this may sound a bit vain but I don't look so good with black eyes and purple bruises underneath them." she told him before she slipped off the couch. She threw his clothes at him before grabbing her dress and beginning to put it back on, "But we can always come back here afterwards." she told him with a small wink.

She was his adoptive mother after all...It was natural..."We should eat, darling." "I know this may sound a bit vain but I don't look so good with black eyes and purple bruises underneath them." Edward kissed her back. But he saw her eyes and placed a hand on her cheek as she said that..."Mine are just as bad darling...." He then let her get up as she threw his over on her playfully of course...He smiled and chuckled at that and started to get himself dressed....
"But we can always come back here afterwards." He really liked that idea. He didn't want to go any where else after they hunt...
He walked over and grabbed her from behind after she was dressed completely and wrapped his hands to where they rested on her stomach and kissed her shoulder...."Ready?" He was ready. He was beginning to feel a bit empty on the inside. And he surely didn't want to feed off her. That was not a good thing to even think about for him. He wanted them both to have a good meal...So they would both be better later on. "You look amazing...Come on..." He released his hold on and walked to where he was in front of her and grabbed her hand and egged her on to walk with him out the door...

"You are too kind. I am a mess, I was out in the rain and then after our afternoon I probably look terrible." Brooke muttered as she followed him. She squeezed his hand lightly and followed him out the door. As soon as they were outside however she removed her hand from his grip and gave him a teasing smile.
"Catch me if you can." she whispered in his ear before she took of for her favorite hunting grounds. There was usually a wild cat or even a bear of some sort there and even though she was content of the blood of a deer, she knew he liked bigger catches, Esme had told her so.

"Catch me if you can." In an instant she was gone...."I'll catch ya!" His body whooshed out the door in a single heart beat! He wanted some thing big to nibble on...And he had no idea that Esme let Brooke know about his little cravings when it came to blood. He was at first looking every where for Brooke.
He then stopped as he saw what his thirst was looking for...A buck...Very tasteful...Had Brooke sensed it? He wasn't sure, but he was about to take a chance and attack the animal....Which he did in a heart beat! The attack lasted only seconds and the buck was laying there dead...That was one meal...But he thought about letting Brooke have this one...Since it was his kill...And he wanted her to have a good dinner...He waited there for her.... |
