Last night Embry was agitated because Sam didn't include him in patrolling. He even joked that he needs to find time to look for his mate. He never cared about it. He thought that whoever that mate is, will arrive in due time, so there's no need to rush. But even his mother was asking him, will he ever bring somebody and introduce as his girlfriend. Of course, his mom has no idea that he can't just ask a lady out and be his girlfriend no matter how pretty that girl is. It just doesn't work that way. Mates for Embry's kind can never be chosen, they just appear then love will happen all of a sudden.
The village wasn't as big as Forks, and yes there are lots of attractive ladies in La Push but none so far strike him hard. He was mulling over the irritable topic that springs up suddenly. He wasn't the only one who doesn't have mate yet, besides he's only sixteen. Though with a body of a twenty five year old man.

Alina was going for a walk somewhere around her house, though she didn't know exactly where. That was the thing with her - she knew the area, but she could never pinpoint where she was. She knew it well enough not to get lost at least. Alina didn't know why she was walking, either. She didn't waste her time thinking about it. During this walk, she came across a bit of a clearing with a person standing in it, evidently thinking. Bored and lonely as she was, she walked right by, straight in front of his face, like she didn't want the company. Alina walked past into a bit of forest. When she knew she was far enough away, she paused and considered turning back around. Even though she'd lived there so long, she didn't know half the people there, as she wasn't exactly social. Still something about the idea of possibly making one friend (not including her brother, because she didn't think he counted) intrigued her and made her want to turn around. She stayed where she was with her feet planted firmly in the ground, but turned around enough so that she could see him from where she was at. Alina decided to just watch him and see what he did; people in general interested her. She hoped he wouldn't be able to see her, but she didn't doubt that he probably would have the ability.

Embry was sure the pack wasn't anywhere near. With the killings in Seattle, the patrol has been regular. Having the Cullens back in Forks wasn't something Embry could consider dangerous, but with the present killings, that was surely not a work from any of the Cullens. At least Embry won't find it hard to kill those vampires.
He was on his usual walk and he was about to change when he felt another person's presence. Definitely not someone he could recognize. Embry knows he's being watched. He snickered and turn his head to the unknown visitor's direction.
"Don't you know that it's rude to watch people from the dark. Come out now." He said in a soft voice.

Alina felt her heart quicken in embarrassment and walked out slowly and carefully from behind the trees. "Technically, I wasn't in the dark, but sorry," she called out. She glanced back at the trees, wishing they had hid her better. Alina pivoted on her heel and started walking at her usual slow pace towards her house in a panicked effort to prevent any further embarrassment.

Embry grinned with her words. He tried to do it as smooth as possible and yet he still made the pretty human nervous. As she was about to run away, Embry quickly jumped in front of her and smiled.
"I mean no harm. What are you doing here anyway?" he asked her politely.
The lady was pretty, no doubt and she seems shy. It's a good thing Embry hasn't changed yet when he felt her presence or else he would've been caught.

Alina rolled her eyes as the guy landed in front of her, blocking her path. She was stubborn and didn't like her plans interrupted. Alina crossed her arms. "I go for a walk every morning. I live here. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll just be going now," she said in an annoyed tone. She pushed past the guy and continued walking.

Embry watched as the lady's face changed in an annoyed one. He can't help but chuckle. Being the playful one, he enjoys watching irritated people whether he caused it or not. But he was truly a nice person, as long as one gets to know him better.
She tried to walk pass Embry but swiftly he was right in front of her again. "Embry Call. And you?" He said, arms extending for her to shake.

Alina crossed her arms. Him again. She didn't have a clue why he was so persistant to talk to her, but she didn't really care. All she knew was that it was getting a little annoying. She rolled her eyes.
"Alina Arrow," she answered, not that it mattered. He shouldn't even care. She didn't bother with shaking his hand, but she also didn't bother trying to walk away again.

La Push. One of the more nicer places within Washington, forks just seemed to dull for this time of year and being an FBI agent on duty she had to learn her way around, that would mean visiting each place in turn and finding information on it for her case studies to help with the murders that have been going on in Seattle. It was unlikely that anyone here would know of them, but she would like to get a feel for all places within her work area and this was first on her list. La Push was divided into many areas but Jess was going to begin with a place called Quileute village time would only tell what would become of this village.
Her car begins to drive up the long dirt road leading to the village talk about feeling out of place people spoke about the village as if his cursed with wolfs, wolf men yea like that’s ever going to happen in her life time. She arrived at last to what looks likes the gates of Quileute or least a gate made out of something, but she was here to explore and gain a feel for the area as she may one day have to come back here for reasons that connect to this murder case, but for now she was on what you could call sight sightseeing trip around Washington if only she knew what was going on behind closed doors, maybe one day she will find out.
She parks her car in one of the parking spaces and steps out locking the door behind her, pausing for a moment to look around at the funny shaped houses talk about a change from modern day new York, it was like stepping back in time but it was still very peaceful and people where quite welcoming to her even if they had no idea she was a government agent. She began to walk along the centre of the village taking in the sounds and feel of the village the wind gracing her skin making her jacket ruffle around, seems the weather was just as bad here as it was back in forks, even if they are in the same state as each over.
She then walked towards what looked like a sort of shop, god knows what it would sell but if she could get a wooden idol for herself then coming here would not of been so bad, but she was trying to make this trip more like summer break then work. She began to walk down the same path as to other people but she has no reason to disturb them seems they were just out even if it was nighttime. As she is walking along she speaks out loud to herself saying. “Well this place is quite peaceful at this hour but kind of creepy maybe ill see some ghosts or at least find something of interest in this place

Embry can't help but smile. Alina looks tough but doubts if she'd be as brave as before once she sees his true form which she really cannot show her unless there's a necessity for it. "You were the one who watched me without permission and yet you're the one who's angry." He said wondering to himself. How can this girl be so complicated. She was definitely someone who knocks him off his feet.
After just a couple of minutes, Embry sensed another human coming. Then he knew she was a girl as she spoke just few trees behind where Embry and Alina was talking.
"And what could be a very well dressed woman be doing here in the woods?" He asked.
Embry chuckled at the thought. Maybe it's a sign that it's time for him to find his mate. Unless there's another explanation why all of sudden out of nowhere, two ladies showed up. "It's raining women!"

Alina rolled her eyes at his comments. First of all, she didn't like being referred to as a "woman", as she was only sixteen. Second of all, she thought he should have listened earlier when she said she was going for a walk. She folded her arms. "I am NOT technically a woman, as I'm only sixteen. And weren't you listening before? I go for a walk every night," she answered annoyedly.
All of a sudden, someone else around her age, probably a little older, showed up. She seemed to be walking, like Alina had been, and she didn't doubt that Embry would stop her, too.

Jess just smiled as she began to drift into a world of her own, one away from work and the hassle of the murders, as she was walking she could over hear what sounded like two other voices one was a girl and one was a guy. Sounded like they were having a fight, young love is such a sweet thing to have in this dyeing age if only jess had someone she could fight with but her job stopped her from having any sort of social life, well that outside her office that is.
As she was day dreaming in her own little world the voice of the young male can be heard addressing her, sounds like she made a little too much noise the sounds of trees blew around her and the way the wind carried the young man’s voice towards her, like something out of a movie, not wanting to be rude she smiles to the young man and speaks saying.
“O sorry I didn’t mean to break up your lovers’ quarrel. Im just new to the area so I wanted to look around and take in the sites maybe make some new friends you know, and a little rain never hurt anyone most guys would be thrilled to be swamped with women, maybe you have feelings for this girl that you are not telling her.” She then runs up to them so at least she could walk with them on this cold rainy and dark day.
Jess Guessed that they where locals of this area, which would be a spot of luck so maybe befriending them would be a smart idea at this present moment in time seeing that she has no friends and no links in this state. Her boss told her to make friends so now’s a good as time as any to start making friends and looking for places to stay such as hotels and dinners and maybe even gun shop or two, unlikely this place would have one of them but you never know in this dyeing age

"Easy there tigress. I mean no harm. Especially to girl." Putting an emphasize to the word girl. He had no idea why she's furious but she's enjoying that she's almost on boiling point. Interesting girl, he thought.
Embry chuckled with the woman's remarks. "Oh, we're not lover's that's for sure. As you can see, she hates me to the bones." He looked back at the girl and winked at her. Besides, love isn't a normal thing that for his kind. The issue of imprinting is definitely out of the ordinary and this girl here, she got his attention but not sure where will it go. "With the get up and first time visit, I presume you're an officer."

Alina rolled her eyes yet again. She didn't exactly hate him....she just found him annoying. So strong dislike would probably be a better way to describe it. The older girl's words rang in her head and made her angry.
"Definitely not lovers," she agreed, putting her hands on her hips. "And I don't necessarily hate you, though we're getting there and fast."

Jess just smiled as the two young people began to moan at each over, young love is a wonderful thing, and if the young male and female would just sit down and talk it out im sure they could become lovers, after all Jess has ended many love stuck teens by locking them in a jail cell. She carried on walking along side the two before speaking to them saying. “You guys need to cool down a little bit if you’re always this tense you die way to early in your life, so come on how about you both sit and talk about it, you bound to feel better, would anyone like some Gum.
“Yes I do work for law, but im above the law so im free to act without restraint and the local law enforcement for this state know of this and don’t stop me from doing what I have to do when the time comes. But less about me, come tell me about your self’s im new here so i want to get to know my new home, I must say I like it so far.
