Embry snickered with Alina's words. If she only knew what would happen if he gets angry, which is far from happening. His string's longer than Paul's. If it was Paul, their identity will be revealed to another human. "Brown lines on forehead." He teased her.
He turned to the officer and grinned. "Oh surely I won't die easily. I have long years ahead of me." Which was true. As long as there are vampires he will stay the way he is, a shifter. Embry have no problem with that. He actually thinks it's cool. Buff and not aging. He can go and get to kill some vampires. "Embry Call, miss." He said offering his hand to shake. "La Push is my hometown and I've been here since I was born."

Alina frustratedly crossed her arms and tossed her hair, aggrivated with Embry to the point where she felt like she would explode. If he wasn't so muscular she would probably smack him. Then she snapped back into reality rather than her fantasy world where Embry wasn't annoying the living hell out of her.
"But less about me, come tell me about yourselves," the young woman had said. Alina took a deep breath - there was too much to tell all of it; she'd had a bit of a rough past. "I'm Alina Arrow. I've also been here since I was born but I don't get out much so I don't know too many people. I'm sixteen and I really don't like him," she said, grinning cheekily and pointing at Embry.

Jessica smiled at the two young teenagers it would seem that there playing hard to get with each over, but suppose that is what young love is, she listened to the two talk to each over and then address her with their names, they were very polite with their tone of voice which means they have been brought up to respect people no matter what race or creed they were. She just smiled and walked alongside the two teenagers watching their actions, they seem to be locals but they are nicer than the ones she had met on the cliffs, she then smiles to them and speaks back not wanting to be rude saying.
“Thank you for being so welcoming other around here don’t seem to want to talk to me, maybe is due to im I work for law enforcement or im a Gaijin, which is outsider, I don’t mean to make people dislike me, but it seems the locals around here have problem with the police, even if im not part of it. I work for different origination that has no ties with the local police of this state. However, do you people mind if I tag along with you on your walk.
In addition, Alina, not likening someone is your right, but maybe you should give him a chance, even if you are not lovers, given time you may become very close and in this world bonds off friendship and love, keep us safe and give us something to fight for to protect and to come home to at night and relax in each other’s arms. So then can I ask if we have a place we are going or are we just walking for the hell of it” She asked speeding up to keep pace with the young teenagers.

Embry let out another playful laugh. He was obviously getting in her nerves. He wasn't the shy type one when it comes to girls especially to someone like Alina, where he developed a personal interest. "Oh don't be too quick judge miss. You might take that back sooner or later." he winked at her teasingly. "You'll be surprised how adorable I am, once you get to know me." Typical Embry, not really too proud of himself, just playful and teasing. Some girls found it attractive, but some found it annoying. Alina's a perfect sample. "You should listen to her Alina." he referred to the older lady.
"My apologies ma'am. Some folks here in the village are just secretive I should say. The place for us, mostly to the old folks, is scared so I do understand why they seem aloof with your presence." It was all true. It's all part of the legend, the tradition and all. Most outsiders are really treated differently except for some few. The lady should have gone to Chief Swan first and had her introduce to the village people. Her sudden appearance probably made the villagers feel like the land has been trespassed. Another is that, it would be dangerous for someone like her to go lurking around the forest, with a dangerous read-headed cold one on the loose.

Alina sighed, knowing he was probably right but not wanting to admit it. "Just say when and I'll prove you wrong," she taunted, referring to when he'd said she would take it back later. "I don't want to give him a chance," she added under her breath.
As for where they were going, she didn't really know. Alina was a little exhausted seeing as it was a little late for most people. "I was walking for the hell of it," she answered the officer. Alina rather liked her - she really seemed to care unlike some of the people she knew.

Jess smiled at the comments of the two young teens, from what she read of this place it was said to hold secrets that must never become known, even if jess believed this to be very unlikely but vampires and werewolf’s, she had only read of them in books and sightings that were reported by members of the public.
One of the reasons why she is was here to see if there was any truth to them and so far, she has seen nothing that would back up the claim but something seemed off about Embry but at this moment she couldn’t quite put her finger on it but in time she will try like to hell to find out.
As for the Alina, she was fun to hang out with even if she was a little stubborn, but women like her and Jessica didn’t get by on just looks alone, they have to use wits and tact or some people may try to take advancer of them, she listens to them both speak again before saying herself.
“I can understand that but is not like im here to hurt or steal anything, but maybe I should rethink my choice to stay here, I mean you two are the nicest people I’ve met and least your letting me tag along with you which is more then I can say for others I met at the cliffs.
And walking without a knowing where your going is to dangerous but fun at the same time, who knows what we might find, the world is full on wonders that the human eye cannot detect unless you know what to look for, she then pulls out some sweets from her pocket and eats one. “ Would you two care for one i got them on the way in to this state”

Embry roared laughter. He was really having fun, just the same as when he’s hanging out with his fellow shifters or when he’s cliff diving. Her mood’s amusing. She hasn’t met any girl who pulled that kind of tough attitude. Aside from Leah, who surely has her reason to be bitter in life. He wondered if she’s in the same situation, too. If that’s the same case then she’s smacked in the middle.”Why don’t we do this often and I’ll prove you wrong, instead.” he gave her another playful grin. Embry rolled his eyes as he heard him responded to the lady. Yeah, yeah. You like me so much.” He said sarcastically. Embry tried to slow down a little. As a wolf, he tends to be faster even in human form. Once in a while it’s nice to walk in normal human speed, only if you’re walking with someone. It would be boring to walk at this pace if he’ll do it alone.
The officer’s presence worried him, however. What if the red-headed vampire comes along and this two human would be alone in the woods. They’ll surely be in danger and the authorities would be flooding out the forest, in which case, it would be harder for them to patrol. Definitely they can’t do that knowing people would be all over. ”People are nice here miss. They just sometimes reject the unfamiliar. Especially at times like this, you know the killings.” It was hard to explain the situation mostly if you really can’t tell it.

Alina rolled her eyes, but smiled. "Yeah, I'd just LOVE to spend my time with you. We SHOULD do this often," she said, layering on the sarcasm as thick as it would go. I guess you could call it a strength of hers, being sarcastic - her sarcasm goes a lot further than is possible for most people. Alina worried about something else he had said, something about killings? She hadn't heard anything about it, but yet again, she never read the newspaper and when she asks Trey questions about what was going on down in Seattle where he works, merely from curiousity, he never answers. Not to mention he wouldn't let her go further than Port Angeles. Was he trying to protect her from this? She ignored the thoughts and turned to the young woman.
"People just need to trust each other more. Not everyone is friendly, but most of them are. You probably just came across the wrong batch of people," Alina explained to her, commenting on something she had said about unfriendly people down at the cliffs.

Well in this age, trust is a two-way thing if someone trusts someone and the other person does not then how can they be expected to watch each over’s backs when there in trouble, like take me for instance in my line of work I have to trust my life to my work colleagues who also entrust me with there’s if I fail to beat the mark then the life’s off my friends could end in one of them dying but I get your point, about the getting to know you part but sometimes we don’t have that chance to talk about it.
Sorry short post feeling little ill.

[ooc: haven't logged on in awhile, sorry that this post is REALLY late!!!!!]
"Oh, alright," Alina said distractedly, not completely understanding what she had just been told. She was trying to analyze her own thoughts, therefore came off as not really paying attention. Maybe that's why she hadn't gotten it exactly.
Alina looked around the dark forest and up at the starry sky. The moonlight illuminated everything nearby, seeing as it was just overhead. She turned to the young woman whose name she had never been told. "Excuse me if I'm being rude, but I'm afraid you never told me...er, I mean us...your name?" she said, implying that she would like an answer.
