Autumn couldn't remember the last time she actually laid out in the sun to tan. It was the beginning of the autumn season and the weather was becoming slightly nippy. This is the first time she would experience the cold, frigid winter air that was soon coming. Back in Australia it was hot all year round, making it easy to step outside and catch a few rays. But here the climate was different and Autumn didn't like it. She missed the warm breeze against her sun-kissed skin, the sandy beach in between her toes. She would even jump in the water but it was too cold for that, even on a surprisingly warm and sunny day like today. Autumn couldn't pass up the chance to get some alone time while her sister was at the babysitter's and it just so happened it landed on a beautiful day. With her work and trying to hide all at the same time, she never had a chance to actually live like a 21 year old. It was time to visit the beach.
She tied the thin straps to her red polka dotted bikini top behind her neck and followed with a double knot. This bad boy wasn't coming off today thats for sure. With her large breasts it was hard for them to stay in place and often liked to peek out and say hello. But with double sided tape that wasn't much of a problem. After slipping on a white shirt and jean shorts over her bathing suit she grabbed her towel and bag and made her way to the beach. Once there she was happy to see it wasn't crowded, unlike the beaches at home. To her surprise there was no one in sight. Must of been because of the weather, she figured. Goosebumps ran down her arms from the random breezes that cooled her skin from the hot sun beaming down on her. Thankfully she wasn't cold so it made it easier for her when she removed her shirt and shorts after setting up her chair and set them next to her on the sand. Pulling her hair pack into a high ponytail and covering her eyes with a pair of sunglasses she sat down on the chair and laid back and let the sun work its magic.

Ok, usaully Martyn wouldn't travel outside his territory, or even the area he was most familier. But he needed to lay of the land. He needed to understand what the world was like around Forks and what he could expect in the end. This was the biggest part of what he was trying to decide. He had discovered that was not alone anymore, his sister had moved in with him, and now that he nad found Naomi. Well life had become complicated. Thoughts of becoming the Alpha he was origanally supposed to be in the Aris clan came to mind. Then there was the fact that he had found out there was such thing as VAMPIRES!!! All these thoughts flooded his mind as he road his Chopper through La Push. He needed a break, fresh air, maybe alittle.....
That was when he saw it, the ocean to his right, a beach that spralled at the border of the land. It seemed nice and cool, and with his high body temp, would probably be perfect at that moment. He began to look for a parkinglot and soon found one with only like three or four cars parked in it Perfect. He turned in and stopped his bike close to the beginning of the beach sand.
It didn't take long to dissmount his bike, start walking toward the water where only a single woman laying in a beach chair sat, and take off his clothes till he had gotten to his boxers. Yeah, it probably wasn't the smartest thing he had ever done but he didn't care. Did it make since that he felt as if the water was calling to him? Maybe it was just the fact that it seemed like a good stress relief, but when he had gotten his jeans off he dove deep into the waiting arms of the cool water.

Autumn had not been there no more than ten minutes when she heard a motorcycle in the distance. It wasn't until she turned her head to look did she realize it was entering the parking lot and took a empty spot. Her lightning blue eyes watched curiously as the figure hopped off his bike and headed down the stairs to the beach. From a distance she could see that he looked to be around her age, maybe younger. As he walked by she lowered her head and brought her fingers to the corner of her sunglasses, lowering them slightly as well. Just enough so she could see him more clearly without the shades and he wasn't a bad sight to see. Not bad at all.
He seemed to be oblivious to everything around him that was not already meant to be here, or atleast it seemed like it when he started to strip from his clothing, leaving only his boxers. She watched him eagerly as he walked into the current and dove under. For a second her heart jumped slightly. She didn't know why. Maybe for a moment she thought he wouldn't surface, but then again he hadn't ventured very far out. Autumn still wasn't used to this beach. Back home if you weren't careful the ocean could sweep you away and under, she's seen it happen. But she shook it off and told herself she needed to get out more. Opening up her bag she pulled out a few sheets of paper with black ink printed words on it. It was her next job order and she had to make sure she remembered everything to a tee. As she flipped through the pages a gust of cold air swept through. Her grip on her papers weren't strong enough allowing the wind to snatch them out of her hands and dance with them in the air. "Shit" she growled as she jumped up and started running after the papers. The first few were easy to catch but a couple were on their way to take a swim with the fellow already in the water.

The pressure from the water, its embrace was sweeter then any he had ever felt before. Yes of course he had never known a lovers touch, but that was a whole other story. What mattered now was that the entance sensation of flowing through the liquad felt insaine to ever nerve of his body. When he surficed the cold chill of the air touched every inch of his exposed flesh and exploded into his lungs. Ever sensation he was experiancing was so new to him that he couldn't even begin to explain how good it felt. At that moment nothing was inside his thoughts, nothing but this feeling of utter freedom.
Well, that was of course till he saw the girl he had seen on his way down to the beach, scrambeling around trying to grab papers that had been taken by the wind. The water held him, keeping him above the water as he watched her scramble for each page, yet as she did so some escaped her and began to float towards the water.
Martyn acted out of instinct, maybe because he was a good guy at heart, or the fact that he really couldn't see anyone in destress without helping them. But when the papers started to hover over the waters surfice he swam for them, grabbing two of them and then soon a third.
"You want these?" A smile spread across his alittle as he looked towards the woman. Of course Martyn knew that she did want the pages and held them high above his head as he moved to the sand and out of the water.
"I don't think they got to wet."

Panic quickly set in the females body, seeping into every crease and cell inside her. Without these papers she had no way of knowing the quickest and safest exit points to the gallery she was planning on breaking into. Her client had told her he had paid for a expensive piece of art there, but the owners were refusing to give it up. That's where she came in. It wouldn't be her first time breaking an entry, it almost became like second nature to her. Without it she wouldn't be able to support herself and her little sister. Even though she is risking more than her own life for it.
She was lucky to catch all her papers except the first three. And those were the most important. But as she started to follow them into the water she hesitated when she saw the man from before grab the remaining papers. A sign of relief escaped her lips as she gratefully smiled. "You want these?" he said as he drew closer with the papers in hand, now the water was only up to his ankles. "Oh crikey, thank you." she said in one of the most recognizable Australian accents, overjoyed she didn't lose her papers like she thought she would. She grabbed the papers out of his and and turned them around to match the others and placed the paper clip back on them. "I don't think they got to wet." she heard him say as she shuffled through the pages to make sure she grabbed them all. There was small water damage on it, but nothing serious. Just a few smudged words but she could still read them fine. "I can't tell you enough how grateful I am. Really, thank you. But you were so quick grabbing them, even with the strong current against you, how did you do it?" she asked curiously with a small grin, her eyes slightly squinting from the glare of the sun behind his head. But it wasn't until she moved her hand over her eyes like a visor did she really see the man that stood before her. Scars covered his torso around, wrapping around his shoulders and down his back. She was sort of in awe and in a way felt bad for him. To think of what he went through to receive such scars horrified her. Not that she hadn't seen this before. But this didn't bother her, in her opinion it made him look sexier. Even though that was not the intended reason.

Martyn was able to get a good look at the Woman now and had to admit that she was the hottest thing he had seen in a LONG time. He didn't mind her Ausie accent either. Her lips had curled fluidly into a grin and it seemed almost as if she could move as smoothly as the water, hell her curves sure as hell did. Yet as she mentioned how fast he moved he quickly changed his tone of thought.
"I've always been able to move quick, born to move fast I guess." It was probably the worst excuse he had ever come up with but admittedly his mind was alittle attached to the fact that this woman had a better body then any he had EVER seen. What the hell dude, she is a human being! His mind slightly protested as he watched her trying to squint alittle to get him into focus. He hadn't realized the sun was behind him and moved slowly up the beach with the woman so that she could actually talk to him without going blind.
"Sorry about my random enrty, I'm kinda from an area where I didn't get to swim much." A sheepish grin slid across his face as he kept eye contact with her. They're eyes were locked by his own design, mostly to keep his from wondering but also because there was something about hers that were WAY diffrent then even any Natrual being or Vampire he had met.
"By the way I'm Martyn." The words seemed feeble to him, but he didn't like not introducing himself to someone he met. And, well the fact that he was looking her up and down, the least he could do is offer his name.

"I've always been able to move quick, born to move fast I guess."
[/i] he said confidently. She couldn't help but notice his wandering eyes fall over her body. The look on his face looked like a nervous teenager when he was around a pretty girl. Autumn just wasn't used to that kind of attention. She knew she had a great body, but unlike now she rarely showed it off. So it was still new to her to think she was what men like to call her 'A hot piece of ass'. Not that it didn't flatter her. "Well those are some wicked genes you got there." she cracked a smile and laughed. Hoping her joke would make him feel more comfortable. She still couldn't tell if he was edgy because of her in a bikini, or the fact he was shirtless and covered in some sick scars. She lowered her hand from her face once he moved in closer, blocking the sun with his body. "Sorry about my random enrty, I'm kinda from an area where I didn't get to swim much." She laughed once again. "Really? Cus were I come from we are surrounded by it." She missed her home and wanted to go back it hurt. But she had too much to lose if she went back. She didn't think she would even come back if she did. "By the way I'm Martyn." Autumn nodded and smiled. "Autumn. Nice to meet yah." she said casually. Her eyes couldn't help but wander to his torso, just as his did to her's. She was curious as to why he had so many scars and clearly wanted to ask him. Even though she knew she had no right, she couldn't help but ask anyway. "If you don't mind me asking...what happened?" she didn't hesitate to ask and only half pointed to his chest.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEIt hadn't crossed his mind till jsut then> He was so used to them now that it didn't even faze him to take off his shirt. Yet as he stood there exposed to this flawless beauty who had noticed his external flaws he hesitated.
"I, well... see my dad worked aty a zoo in Colorado....and well I guess you could say I got alittle to clsoe to the Tigers." It wasn't all a lie and to be honest he had said it in a more of a, its-a-long-story sort of way. If she bought it then maybe she wouldn't care and he might have someone to hang out with the rest of the day. Yet at that moment he had to admit it all depended on what this one thought about his distroyed figure. Yeah you could still see his muscle tone, but it ran together with the scars and even kind of made some muscles look oddly shaped.
"But on a widely happier note that I think could be insanly interesting..." Martyn changed the subject fast with a wicked smile. He hoped she would be cought in his quistion. "What is a beautiful woman like you doing in a cold as hell place like this?" His smiled stayed but as they moved up the beach and he sat expectedly next to the girls chair, leaning back on his arms so he was looking up at her and her fully amazing glory. He could be a smart ass sometimes and hell, it suited him well.

"I, well... see my dad worked aty a zoo in Colorado....and well I guess you could say I got alittle to clsoe to the Tigers."
[/i] He tried to play it off like it was nothing. And maybe it was nothing to him, but not to her. She's seen tigers, lions, kangaroos and so on and knew fully well the consequences of getting too close. But lucky for her she had no scars to prove it. But for some odd reason she sensed the hesitation in his voice as he said it, like he was thinking while he spoke. Was he lying? Or was he just trying to hide something? If he didn't want to say it, Autumn would not push the subject. She was all too familiar with keeping secrets. No matter the reason, his flaws didn't make her think of him any less. If not they seemed to add to his natural good looks. She was just weird like that. "But on a widely happier note that I think could be insanly interesting..."[/i] He said as they made their way back over to her chair. He gracefully sat down next to her chair and propped himself up with his elbows. Autumn followed suit and sat next to him on the sand instead of in her chair. Her eyes never left his, now satisfied with his answer she didn't have the urge to look at his scars. "What is a beautiful woman like you doing in a cold as hell place like this?" She couldn't help but laugh as she started to feel her cheeks turn color. No one had called her that in..well...forever. She knew she was pretty, but beautiful was not what she was expecting. Looking down for a moment she twiddles her thumbs and let out a sign. "Let's just say I needed a fresh start." she said as she slightly tilted her head and looked back up at him. Autumn couldn't tell him everything. Believe it or not she was a criminal on the run. Not yet known by the United States police, the Australian government was all too familiar with Autumn White. That was the reason she moved to the States. She had a little sister to take care of and couldn't afford getting caught. If it wasn't for the big money involved, she would of given up her profession. "I don't really know anybody here, so it's not like I have someone to take up my time. Although my job has no problem doing just that."[/blockquote][/blockquote]

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEShe was lying and hiding something, there was no way in hell he could miss that. Of course he wasn’t going to say anything, he had no room to talk. Yet at the same time he had to admit he liked it out she seemed to act slightly nervous when he said she was beautiful, and even taken aback when she said she had no one to take up her time.
“Now, that kind of surprises me, you seem like the type that would have a strong guy on your arm. Yet you say you’re a working kind of girl.” A skeptical smile had taken his lips and his eyes. Martyn had to give to her, if she really was a workaholic she had the body of someone who would rather have it being looked at. Not trying to say she looked like an attention whore, the fact that she was bashful when he had mentioned her beauty made that a non question. No it was more the fact that she seemed like she was care free.
“Not that I know much about that, I’ve been kind of living place to place lately. I just moved into a small town up here with the money my parents gave me.” NO he was not trying to brag, to be honest he didn’t like that he had gotten a SHIT storm of money and even less that his sister had brought more. The money part of his life was something that made no difference to him. Hell, just give him gas money, for awhile, a bible and his thoughts and he was good. Though he knew that’s not how his parents had ‘brought him up’.
He realized fast though that he was starting to sound kind of dumb. “I don’t mean you seem like a party girl who does stupid stuff I mean…..” He closed his eyes and fell back in the sand as he brought his hands to his face and sighed. “Okay, I’m going to stop talking before I make more of a fool of myself around you.”

“Now, that kind of surprises me, you seem like the type that would have a strong guy on your arm. Yet you say you’re a working kind of girl.”
[/i] She couldn't help but laugh. She didn't know she was a certain 'type'. But obviously when she said she was alone, he seemed surprised. Autumn wasn't. Hard to really think of herself with a man if she had never even had a boyfriend before. Pathetic really? Why would someone that obviously looked the way she did, and have yet to even been on a date. When she was younger she was a tom boy, not really interested in dating and kissing faces with one of the other high school boys. And once her parents died, giving her full responsibility of a new born baby at the age of 16, her social life was forever gone. Now with the constant demand of priceless artwork to be stolen, even if she wanted too, attempting to form a social life was harder to do than said. “Not that I know much about that, I’ve been kind of living place to place lately. I just moved into a small town up here with the money my parents gave me.”[/i] She listened carefully to everything he had to say and studied his movements down to the little twitch in the corner of his lips as he smiled. Autumn had money, but not nearly as much as him. But unlike other's she worked for everything she owned. Even the BMW that sat in the parking lot next to his bike. With no one but herself she had no choice but to work constantly just for a simple meal. But with years of practice and many connections she finally got herself and her sister out of the ghetto and into a much nicer loft in downtown Seattle. “I don’t mean you seem like a party girl who does stupid stuff I mean…..” He laid down on his back and covered his face as if he was embarrassed. Her smile never faded, it only grew wider the more he made a fool of himself. “Okay, I’m going to stop talking before I make more of a fool of myself around you.” "It's okay, really. I'm flattered you think that about me. Never thought I would hear anyone say that to me without thinking it would be an easy way into my pants." she chuckled slightly, trying to make him not worry about putting on an act for her. She wasn't the type to judge and would accept anyone the way they were. "Would it make you feel better if I told you you made my day a whole lot better than it was?" her voice slightly raised at the last word, her right eyebrow raised as well.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEMartyn smiled and grabbed his leather jacket and came quietly behind Autumn and slid it onto her shoulders. He let her see him shake his head a little as a smirk came across his lips. He hadn’t had a straight face since he had met her, and he liked that. “For one, you get to wear this, it’s cold and I don’t need you catching a cold now do we?” He walked around her so she could look at him again, this time he was slightly closer to her, hopefully not uncomfortably close, even though he was closer then he had been that day. “Second, I’ve got to much money to spend on just some burgers. I say we go hit a good sit down place, or by a lot of good shit at the store and I whip something together at my place. Which sounds good?” He wasn’t going to let her say no. It was simply going to be a fun day for them both. He had to admit he was attracted to her as more then just some guy she met. He liked her, he didn’t know for sure if it showed but he hoped she at least enjoyed her time with him with the way he was treating her. “Now I wouldn’t mind us riding my bike, but if you feel safer in a car we can take that?”

She brushed her bangs from her eyes and tucked it behind her ear, only for it to fall right back over her eyes. It was obvious their casual conversation was quickly turned into a flirting game. Autumn wasn't really trying, but it somehow seemed to come natural to her. Funny she never got the chance to practice. “Men are morons. I’m not going to lie when I first saw you I couldn’t take my eyes off your body. You’ve got a body that could kill, but from what I can see you got a little more then just that going for you.” She had alot going for her at the moment. New country, new apartment, new contract. The only thing she was missing was the comfort from a man. Not that she was looking, but if the opportunity presented itself she would have no choice but to pursue it.
Autumn watched as he stood up and walked only a few feet to get his clothes. Her eyes were fixated on his muscles as they flexed before his shirt covered him. Scars or not, he was still sexy. “Alright, what is there to do around here?” Once his pants were back on Autumn had just realized he was in his boxers the whole time. How could she not of noticed that? Good thing she didn't or she would of been caught catching a few glances herself. Leaning her weight on her arms she looked up at him, her eyes squinting once again from the suns glare. "Well....I am hungry. We could grab a quick bite to eat. I don't need anything fancy. A nice juicy burger would do just nicely." she said with hungry eyes as she finally stood up and dusted the sand off her butt before she put her white t shirt and jean shorts back on over her bathing suit.

She couldn't help but giggle slightly as he placed his jacket on her shoulders. She never really felt comfortable around men, mainly because the ones she worked with sometimes were jerks. But Martyn was a gentleman, she was slightly surprised seeing as he looked younger than her. He certainly didn't act his own age and that she liked. Autumn wasn't one to like surprises but this one she didn't mind at all. “For one, you get to wear this, it’s cold and I don’t need you catching a cold now do we?” The only thing she did was smile and nod. Yeah she may get cold, but she figured with the heat radiating from his body at the moment she would be warm enough just standing next to him. The jacket was just an extra. He obviously wasn't a vampire or he would be cold and sparkling. Of course he was human...maybe his temperature was just normally high, she figured.
“Second, I’ve got to much money to spend on just some burgers. I say we go hit a good sit down place, or by a lot of good shit at the store and I whip something together at my place. Which sounds good?"
[/i] At first she was hesitant on giving him an answer. She wasn't sure about anything at the moment. Especially if she wanted to follow him back to his place. The sound of it seemed devious to her, although she clearly knew those were not his intentions. At that moment two figures of herself appeared on both shoulders. Her angel and her devil. And just like in the cartoons the two fought back and forth with each other on what she should do. Finally after a moment of an awkward pause she knew she had to say something soon. "You know...it would be alot more fun cooking the food ourselves. Maybe you could show me some of your cooking skills." she said with a wink as she put her papers in her bag and picked it up along with her chair in the other. “Now I wouldn’t mind us riding my bike, but if you feel safer in a car we can take that?” She quickly grew excited at the opportunity to ride on his sweet bike. Although she never had the chance to ride one before, she had always wanted to. "Just let me put my stuff in my car and then we can go." Once they were in the parking lot she walked over to her 2006 Black BMW and threw her stuff into the back seat.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
