SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEMartyn smiled when Autumn decided that she was going to come over to his place and cook with him. They would pick up some stuff on the way to his house and bring it. He wondered what she liked and decided he would find out while at the grocery store. She made him even more happy when she got excited about riding his motorcycle. When they got closer to the parking lot he started to notice that they were close. Closer then when they were on the beach. She was even close enough to feel his body heat, which was almost touching him close. He didn’t mind it at all, but it made him slightly nervous. Yet he calmed at her smell, he didn’t know what it was but she had a feminine scent that calmed his nerves and even made him want to a little closer to her. He held himself back though out of common courtesy and as she loaded her stuff into her car he even helped her. After she had finished he stretched and pulled his helmet off his handle bars. “Alright, I’ll be safe, but I think we need to protect this ones beauty.” He gave Autumn a smile and checked to see if the helmet would fit before handing it to her. “Just slide it on and hold onto me tight, I’ll be careful.” Straddling his bike he waited for her to get on behind him. He knew she might not know what to do at first. It wasn’t complicated but sometimes sharing a motorcycle seat could put someone in a compromising position and he didn’t want her feeling awkward. When she did get on finally he laid his head back so that it was resting on her shoulder and whispered into the ear hole very lightly. “You gotta trust me ok?”

His bike was more amazing the closer she was to it, now she could marvel at its beauty. She preferred Harley's instead but this one had to be one of her favorites by far. “Alright, I’ll be safe, but I think we need to protect this ones beauty.” He handed her the helmet and for a moment she was confused. How would he be any safer than her? Did he think he was a superhuman or something? He didn't seem to be on any kind of drugs but she did remember earlier he had hidden things from her when she asked about his scars. Maybe there was more to him than he was letting on. Sliding the helmet on her head she didn't have trouble getting it in place and tied the strap. It was a tad big on her head and it would slide every time she moved her head but she didn't care.
“Just slide it on and hold onto me tight, I’ll be careful.”
[/i] The way he said it made her giggle, but she kept it quiet so only she could hear it. The helmet helped muffle it. Throwing her leg over the bike she sat down on the rear seat and wrapped her arms around his waist tight. She leaned in her chest to his back as she tried to not slide down the seat further. He leaned his head back and turned his head to her. “You gotta trust me ok?” Those words struck a soft spot. Trust was a little word with a big meaning. She didn't trust alot of people and when she did she still never completely trusted them with the things she held dear to her. Her sister, Summer being a big example. With a gulp she nodded her head and squeezed his body to let him know she was ready to roll.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEMartyn smiled as she tightened her grip on him and began to back out of the parking spot and turn toward the exit. His head tilted to look at the beautiful creature that was trusting him, atleast some what, at that moment. He could see she might be a alittle nervous and fished out a little surprise out of a side saddle bag on his bike, an ear piece. It fit snug and easy in his ear, just like he had made sure before having it installed. “You comfortable?” Martyn wondered if Autumn would be confused by the sound of him in the helmet. He had made sure that the speaker would sound as if the person was right there. Plus the fact that there was a microphone near the mouth of the helmet ment she could speak back to him. He had to admit he was starting to like her alittle more every minute and wouldn’t mind if she wanted a ride some other time. “You ready for this one honey?” And at that moment, before she could answer, Martyn kicked his beauty to life and listened to its roar. Let give her a fun time honey. Show her what you can do. Lifting his feet off the asphalt, Martyn crancked the accelirator alittle and watched as they started to move into traffic. The feeling of moving through the streets without being held by a metal box around him felt like it did when was in Tiger form. This was what he lived for, the feeling of life and freedom. Something his faith had given him to. Now that he had Autumn on his bike though he started to realize that it wasn’t all about him at that moment. She would need him to be safer then normal to keep her safe. Something He would never risk, her life.

This being her first time on a motorcycle it scared her. She had driven four wheelers and dirt bikes in the Outback during family vacations when she was younger, but that didn't comfort her as much. She couldn't tell if it was due to them being in the city rather than the desert or if it was because she was in the hands of someone she just met. Autumn couldn't remember the last time she was actually nervous about something so small. It reminded her of her time on the job. She was still new and soft, blind to the world around her. The grief of her parents sudden death was still a lingering memory in her mind and it stung like hell. It took years of dedication and skill, not to mention having a kick ass body to take you far up the ladder. Now the stakes and risks were raised and now she was playing with the big boys, and the game was rough and dirty with lier's, cheats, and back stabbers. Another reason Autumn found it hard to trust others. She adjusted her butt so it was snug on the seat and she linked her fingers together around his stomach comfortably.
“You comfortable?”
[/i] a voice rang through her ears. For a moment she jumped, surprised by the sudden voice that seemed to be coming from her head. What the....is he in my head? she thought for a moment but then suddenly felt like a complete idiot when she looked down at a small microphone near her mouth. Crikey Autumn...whats wrong with you she smacked herself in her mind. "Yeah." she answered back, feeling she was slightly embarrassed with herself. Untill he kicked on the engine. It roared louder than she was expecting, making her jump slightly in her seat. Her heart skipped a beat and was now fighting to regulate itself. A rush of adrenaline shot through her the moment she felt the vibration from the motorcycle. It was more than exciting, it was thrilling. He slowly back out of the parking space and moved into the street. Now they were riding alongside cars and trucks. Her trust in him started to slowly increase once she felt he wasn't going to drive like a maniac. She took a deep breath and let it out, finally her heart stopped pounding fiercely in her chest. She took a moment to close her eyes and enjoy the ride, knowing she was safe in his hands. Relaxed and free of worry for the first time in forever, she could taste the sweet taste of freedom.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEMartyn felt her head rest on his back, it felt as if she was starting to give in alittle to him. Good, she needed to believe he cuold take care of her, nothing like a motorcycle ride to help someone trust another. They moved through traffic towards Forks, staying quiet at first as they left the normal city bustle and moved into the tree covered roads. He wondered what she was thinking about. Wondered what had made her into the woman she was now. What jobs did she work? What was her family like? He didn’t really understand why but he actually wanted to get to know her in any way she would let him. Maybe he was just being an idiot and liking her to much. He had just met Autumn and it wasn’t like she would actually open up to him without him trying anyways. Hell, he had more secrets then she probably did and it was going to be hard for her to gain enough of his trust. They were just friends at that moment and Martyn needed to take a breather. “so what sounds good to make tonight?” He spoke into the mouth piece with ease. He was surprised she couldn’t pick up that he wasn’t human. His body was warmer then anyones, which he had an idea was why she wasn’t complaining about the cold air flying past them. Then there was the fact that he was able to talk normal even while riding hard into the blowing air. She was human, that was for sure. Maybe she didn’t care, maybe she really just liked his company and didn’t care what he was, that would be great.

Their time together was short, and yet she was already starting to trust him. This was just as new to her as riding on a motorcycle. She still had her doubts though, the voices in the back of her head told her no. What are you doing? Are you crazy? But she just shook them off and paid more attention to th cold wind that cut her skin like razor blades. When they left the busy city streets and onto a more secluded road it felt like the air was growing colder. She would be shivering even with the leather jacket as leather wasn't the best heat conductor. But surprisingly Martyn's own body heat was radiating off of him and kept her warm. He was like her own personal heater and she liked that about him. But she still was in the dark as to why he felt so much warmer than any other she's met. He looked human...but then again so did she. She made a mental note to herself to ask him. Even if she made herself look crazy, she needed to know.
“so what sounds good to make tonight?”
[/i] She thought for a moment, letting her stomach speak for her she opened her eyes and raised her head from his back. "I can make a mean Meat Pie. My mom used to cook it all the time back at home. Ever had one?" she smiled into the mic as she pictured the delicious pie in her mind. It had been so long since she had eaten anything from back home. American food was always fattening and greasy, and not in the good way. But with her work schedule she was forced to eat the gross fast food and take out. Not that it mattered, she would work it all of anyway by working out.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEMartyn thought for a moment. The truth was he had never even heard of it but it sounded really good at that moment and he wouldn’t mind trying something new, especially if he could help Autumn make it. “Hmm, I like the sound of that, aslong as I can help.” He smiled a bit and kept they’re pace steady down the winding roads that snaked through the forests to take them to the small town he was starting to call home. Yeah it was nothing compaired to his old place. Mom had always been able to make it look as if the prime minister of the wrold lived there. He did what he could though, his new place was nice, if not modest in his opinion and he hoped Autumn would like it. “I’m going to warn you though my sister lives with me, she’s probably hun- out shopping so we should be good but I’ll call and ask her what she is doing when we stop at the grocery store.” A weird thought popped into his mind at that moment. Had he nearly told her that his sister might have been out hunting. Hopefully he had changed it before she caught it. He just had to keep his cool till he knew he could trust her. To be honest though, he was starting to think he could. If anything she had to have caught on that there was something not right about her new companion, her new friend. Maybe ten minutes later they arrived at the grocery store. He parked his bike near the front and held a hand to Autumn to help her off the bike. “I have no clue what I am looking for my dear. This is your show.” The wicked smile flashed again across his face, to tease her a little.

“Hmm, I like the sound of that, aslong as I can help.”
[/i] Autumn let out a chuckle and nodded her head. Well he was in for a surprise because Autumn was a self taught cook, and in her opinion she was pretty good. Summer thought so too, or atleast that's what she was making her sister think. Her 5 year old sister was just as sneaky as Autumn was. She was starting to idolize Autumn, which was great...to an extend. Fearing that her work was getting in the way of her sister's well being was weighing heavily on her shoulders. If she didn't find a way out now then she was afraid her sister would soon follow in her footsteps and Autumn couldn't let that happen. I’m going to warn you though my sister lives with me, she’s probably hun- out shopping so we should be good but I’ll call and ask her what she is doing when we stop at the grocery store.”[/i] She listened carefully, as always as his voice was projected from the speaker into her ear. Even with the wind blowing it had seemed that the protection from the helmet also protected her from the air hitting her face. As he spoke she let his words register in her head but didn't pay much attention to it until something caught her attention. For a moment she thought nothing of it but was be about to say hunting? If so he didn't do a very good job at hiding it. But she still didn't know what that meant. Was his family into hunting game? If so she would of loved to join them, but something inside her told her that's not what it was. Her charmer instincts were telling her jump off and run! But she still didn't know why. He wasn't a vampire, they were obvious. Was he another Charmer? No, she would of sensed it by now. He appeared to be human but Autumn should of known better than that. Appearances were always deceiving. There was obviously something going on with him, something she had never heard of or she would of known it. They eventually made it to the store and parked in an empty spot. Once the engine died down she hoped off the bike and took the helmet off. She wasn't worried about helmet hair and just let her pony tail out and let her hair fall down. Shaking her hair to get the kinks out she was ready to shop. “I have no clue what I am looking for my dear. This is your show.” She couldn't help but laugh. "It wont take long, just a couple of things." she said as she lead him into the store. No more than 20 minutes later they were exiting the store with only two bags in hand.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEWhile they had been in the the store he had called ahead and found out that his sister was indeed hunting but told Autumn that she had told him she was out shopping and would be home late. He didn’t know why but it was hard to lie to her and actually felt like every time he did she could see right through it. Tonight was starting to become really slag. Maybe it was because he was getting nervous. She clung to every word he spoke and that was deffinatly something he was not used to. Though when they had left the grocery store with the two bags of ingrediants he was relieved to place the bags in the side saddle bags and get back onto his bike. “Can I ask you something Autumn?”The quistion came when tyhey had already gotten on the bike and started to drive towards his place. This was a test, it wasn’t him tipping his hand. No, he would never do that until he knew that she wouldn’t freak and have him killed. This in itself was him testing her to see if he could trust her. The fact that Martyn was even doing this showed that he was startign to slowly trust her himself, he just didn’t know how much yet. “Have you ever had a secret that seemed unbelieveable to anyone, but you?” He made his words seem passive, trying to through her off the scent that soemthing might be behind his words. He wanted to know if he was the only one with a secret. Simply put, he knew she wasn’t all she put on aswell, he just couldn’t place it. She smelled human but didn’t act like a normal one. Might have been the fact that she was from another country…might not have been, he just needed to know.

Their trip to the grocery store was short and before she knew it they were back on the bike and down the road. This time she wasn't so nervous about the bike as she was about him. Ever since their first words to each other Autumn had noticed something odd about him. Nothing bad but she wasn't sure it would be too pleasant either. Maybe that was why she was finding it so hard to trust him. He was keeping secrets from her, but so was she. Still it seemed to bug her in a way she never thought possible.
She was brought out of her thoughts and was brought back to reality. “Can I ask you something Autumn?” Her mouth went dry and her heart started to beat faster in her chest. Did he know? No...it wasn't possible. He had to be referring to something else. But what? Her suspicions were starting to be proven correct and it was making her anxious. “Have you ever had a secret that seemed unbelieveable to anyone, but you?” What the hell is he talking about? she thought. Of course she had a secret that no one would believe. But she wouldn't tell him that. If she told him she was a witch she was afraid he would try and burn her at the stake or something. Autumn would rather be hated as a criminal, then a witch. Now her curiosity was eating away at her from the inside. She wondered what would make him ask that sort of question and now she knew she had to chose her words wisely. Clearing her throat she let out a breath of air before she gave her answer. "Nothing is unbelievable, Martyn. No, mother nature won't allow it. Tell me this? What do you think is unbelievable? she asked but didn't give him time to answer. "Why is the most natural of things the most feared and hated? I mean...I understand their small little brains can't handle things that push the limits of their so called 'normal society'. Really....what is normal in this fucked up world? Mother Nature doesn't know the meaning of normal. Ha, she paused and laughed. "who wants to be normal anyways? It's too boring." she said with a grin. This wasn't like her, to ramble and lose herself in her own thoughts only to speak them out loud. But she feared she might of said too much. Oh well, too late now. "I'm sorry...I'm rambling. I'll shut up." she laughed nervously.

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEMartyn took a deep breath and let it out. “Fuck it,” He pulled over to the side of the road before his idiocy dissapeared. The road was quiet and empty, the sky clear and darkening and the air fresh. He turned on the bike so that he was facing the forest but his head turned toward the helmeted Autumn. “I know you’ve been wondering what I am hiding, hell I know your hiding something to.” He wasn’t going to stop talking, he was nervous as hell now but found it harder and harder to not tell her everything. “Look, you talk about mother nature and what is not and what is believeable. The thing is that what my secret is is way from believeable because we haven’t even been spoken of in the acciant myths.” Martyn had actually at one point looked up weretigers and had foind nothing about his kind. It had been weird to him, but his father had said it was why they were so well protected. Well dad the cats out of the bag. Literally. Martyn leaned his elbows on his knees and covered his face with his hands. He couldn’t believe he was doing this but stood up and took off his shirt again before he could talk himself out of it. “I need you to promise me something ok? No matter what happends from this point on, we will be truthful to eachother. What I’m going to show you….I’ve never showed anyone else and I am scared….but I feel like I can trust you.” He wanted to tell her he felt like he could trust her more then he had anyone, but he thought that might be WAY to much at that moment. When he had gotten down to his boxers he looked into the forest and felt the heat begin to grow. His eyes turned to Autumn and by then he knew they were yellow and cat like already. “You have to trust me, I would never hurt you. Not you.”

“Fuck it,
[/i] Autumns heart sank. Did she say something wrong? She hoped she didn't freak him out or seem crazy to him. It wouldn't be the first time. Her eyes grew wide as he pulled off the road and stopped in front of some woods. She didn't know if he was dropping her off or leading her into the woods but she stayed on the motorcycle when he shut the engine off and turned to look at her. “I know you’ve been wondering what I am hiding, hell I know your hiding something to.” Shit. she thought to herself. But she thought for a moment. She realized she didn't have to tell him she was a witch, she would just tell him she was a criminal on the run. No. Wait..I'm good “Look, you talk about mother nature and what is not and what is believeable. The thing is that what my secret is is way from believeable because we haven’t even been spoken of in the ancient myths.” Ancient myths? Autumn hadn't picked up one of her mother's books in years but from what she could remember there were alot of myths. He could be referring to any one of them, but now matter which one it was he obviously struggled to tell her. She slowly pulled the helmet off and held it in her hands on her leg. Her eyes never left his as he stood up and took his shirt off. “I need you to promise me something ok? No matter what happends from this point on, we will be truthful to eachother. What I’m going to show you….I’ve never showed anyone else and I am scared….but I feel like I can trust you.” He trusted her? She was slightly nervous as to what he was about to do. None of the possibilities she could think of seemed to make sense to her anymore so she gave up and waited for him to show her. Now she felt guilty though, he trusted her and she couldn't even give it back. Now she had no choice. Before she could nod he was already down to his boxers. Her eyes widened as his eyes were now cat like. For some reason she wasnt scared just in awe.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEMartyn looked back toward the forest and closed his eyes. The feeling was instant and made him happy the road was desearted. As he changed he turned again to look at her. He had to show her he wasn’t dangerous. He hadn’t had time to tell her to actually do anything. And as his body became the LARGE Tiger he was he moved from two feet to all fours, walking back towards her and the bike. He could see her in a different way now. His sences had inhanced and now that he was in his Tiger form Autumn looked even more beautiful then before. She radiated an aura that he had never seen. Her smell was of the purest of flowers and as he moved clsoer it became entoxicating. At that moment he wanted to be able to say something to her, to tell her it was safe, that he wouldn’t hurt her. So as he got closer he did the only thing he knew he could. Martyns enourmus head laid in her lap, almost in a surrenduring sort of way, his way of telling her he was safe. If it didn’t work he was fucked. The change would last aslong as he wanted but if she took off he wouldn’t be able to get to her once she reached the city. yeah your taking one hell of a risk here buddy. Thing was , it seemed worth it. Maybe doing this he would gain her trust more, maybe by doing this he could get her to tell him what she was hiding. Hell it was one big step from saying your just an average joe to showing you’re a fucking Tiger.

It happened quickly, almost too quick. Her brain was still registering the fact he was still in his boxers until the man she had met a few hours earlier had now been replaced with a large tiger. A tiger....who would of known. Autumn knew there were people out there that could take different shapes of animals but a tiger was not one she was aware of. She had heard of were leopards, were birds, even werewolves! But it had seemed that the history books kept this bit out. But for what reason?
Her eyes were fixated on the beautiful beast before her. For a moment she had forgotten there was actually a man inside. There was no reason for Autumn to scared, even if it was a wild animal. She had come across many different kinds of animals in the Outback. Now her curiosity was only half satisfied and she finally let herself take a deep breath. His large head rested gently on her lap. Her lips curled into a smile and she softly giggled, raising her hand to pet the soft fur in between the felines ears. Autumn was comfortable, how could she not be when a cute kitty was right in front of her. She always held a soft spot for mother nature's creatures. Even the large and scary ones. And fear was never stopped Autumn from taking risks.
"Now I knew you were special...but I didn't think you would be cute and fluffy too." she giggled, slightly nervous. Not because there was a large wild cat in front of her but because she was starting to grow a soft spot for him.

SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD• to believe there's someone else who could be •JUST AS MESSED UP AS MEMartyn made a snorting noise as she called him cute. A huge ass Tiger would not be cute to some but to her he was. Ok, that was a first. He lifted his head alittle so that they were looking directly into each others eyes. He couldn’t believe though that when he looked deep into them he would find them softer then they had been all day. Yes she had shown to be soft towards him, but something was making her softer. What it could have been he didn’t know but he was glad it was there. The air around him was clean and clear and he could tell there wouldn’t be anyone around for some time. It came to mind that he might want to change back but thought better of it at first. For one he would have to change back and quickly gather his clothes. It wasn’t that she hadn’t seen him in his boxers before, but it was more that his boxers were in a thousand pieces behind him and he was probably going to have to replace them when he got back home. Yet he wanted to see her reaction, he wanted to talk to her about it all. So he reluctantly broke eye contact with her and moved to ward the forest, hiding behind a tree so that he could slowly but surely turn back to his human form. Moments later his head poked out from behing the tree, back to human form and looking alittle sheepish. “Hey umm….you wouldn’t mind getting my clothes together and bringing them to me would you?” He felt foolish and stupid at that moment. He had an idea she would laugh at this part of his change but he couldn’t really help it Could he.
