Today was the usual day for Micheal Kenneth Hao. He became bored so easily that he always had to find something interesting to do, the metabolism of his didn't help in the least. He really wasn't sure where he was heading other than somewhere that had adventures or somewhere new. This morning his brother, Mason, was hanging out at this small candy shop in Forks that had all sorts of yum-licious sorts. Kenny tried one. But he spit it right back out with a scrunched up face. It was disgusting! Of course, that's not what vampires eat, all human food is revolting but it was worth a try. He missed his stuffed mushrooms the most though. How his mother made them were absolutely to die for! He about became addicted to a non-additive food!
"The forest." He thought finally deciding where he would go. He had been going there an awful lot lately to roam and hunt. Surprisingly, he hadn't been caught or come up to anything that would cause him harm. He did, however, come up to other vampires like his girlfriend or the Cullens. He had the feeling he would this go round again, but that was only because he heard someone. He didn't bother finding out who is was nor did he feel like talking to anyone, so to avoid getting caught up with this person he left the forest and started walking the streets of Forks. Luckily for him, it was a very cloudy day and he wasn't sparkling all stupid-like. He found his skin rather random for a vampire. In-fact the first time in the sun he thought he would burst into flames and die! But no, of course not, he was sparkling.
A familiar smell came to Kenny's nose and he looked around. He spotted his sister, Bonita, who he really wasn't sure what she was doing. Nor did he waste time to find out! He turned around and cut a corner rather fast then sprinted back to the forest. It was just fast enough to get away from Bonita without her seeing, unless she spotted him as he was turning. A frown came upon his face at the thought. He didn't want his sister seeing him like this. It's why he's been hiding from them for two and a half years including his parents! Ashley and Mason had found out because Kenny needed someone to speak too and he knew they'd handle it better. Plus, he was protecting his little sister. Well, he thought so anyway! They ran off and didn't speak to him for a month but it was because they were shocked, stunned, and a tad mad and upset about the whole thing.
Biting his lip out of habit, he walked into this small cave and sat down.

Oh, she did see him. That curly mop was unmistakable. But, how, was it even possible? Her brows furrowed instantly. He was walking away. Her brother, who she hadn’t seen in god-knows how long, was within distance to say “HEY” and he was just, walking away. What. The. Hell. Bonnie had been spending a lot of time with herself lately. It seemed like all of her brothers had something better to do than to hang out with little Nita. And boredom lead to walks around town, in the woods, or trips out to the beach, or anything her little heart desired.
She pursued her brother as fast as she could, but he just seemed about ten times faster than her. Funny, as a kid, she always won all the races. Then again, he could have let her win. Why was he running away? Her mind flourished with all sorts of theories, all sorts of reasons, all sorts of questions. But the two main ideas that swirled around were these. ‘HE’S ALIVE.’ And, ‘Why was he running away?’ Her heart was beating like a hammer.
Bonnie almost lost his trail, but she saw a flash of color go past the building and into the forest behind. Her legs pushed harder, taking longer strides. This was killing her lungs, but KENNY! It was him! It was definitely him! It was easier to follow him in the forest, she could hear the leaves crunch beneath his feet. Why was he running?! She gritted her teeth and ran with all her might. FINNALY! He slowed and entered a clearing in a large stonewall. There was nowhere he could go now. She paused, taking a small breather before crossing the last fifty yards to her where her big brother hid. Her eyes widened, filling with tears and a mix of anger, and joy.
“YOU.” She shouted across the cave. “I. AM. GOING. TO. KILL. YOU.” She breathed between each word. “Seriously, I am going to like, rip your throat out and feed it to a seagull, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?” She took a step toward him. A tear streaking down her cheek. “You better have a good explanation for this. I mean seriously, Unless you were like, kidnapped by time-traveling sky pirates, I’m going to kill you.”

Kenny closed his eyes, didn't breath, or make any sounds whatsoever. He felt like he was being way to paranoid, what were the chances of her seeing him anyway, right? Still though, he kept quiet hoping Bonnie had no idea he was even around. He hated for his family to think of him dead but if they knew he was alive it would put them in danger. He was positive that humans aren't supposed to know about vampires or have any idea that they exist. The Voutri would do something about it. He sighed lightly taking his fingers through his curly hair then scratched his head. He would stay put for a few minutes then he would get up and go somewhere. Probably make his way to a lake for a nice swim. He always had a terrible time trying to occupy himself since he never sleeps. It's been a challenge to keep himself from being bored and lazy or going crazy. Ana helped with that though...Ash too.
“I. AM. GOING. TO. KILL. YOU.” Kennys eyes shot open to find his sister right in front of him. "No. no. no. no. no. no." He thought over and over feeling very upset that he would have to explain himself to her. What if she told the parents? It just couldn't happen, nor did he even want to let her know what was going on. “Seriously, I am going to like, rip your throat out and feed it to a seagull, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?” His sister has every right to be mad at him, and he had every right to try hiding from her...Of course, she didn't know that. Sighing, he stood up and walked over to her....He wrapped his arms around her to try and give her comfort even though she was utterly mad...she was happy too. He kept his strength around her as low as possible, although it was probably tight feeling for her.
"Bonnie, you shouldn't be here. You shouldn't have seen me." He said regretfully lowering his eyes. He knew he couldn't just tell her to leave...Although he wishes he could. "I've been here for the past three years." He said lightly shaking his head. "I've missed you, Nita. It's so good seeing you." He added hugging her very lightly. He still wasn't used to his strength around touching humans, he just knew when enough is enough.
Kenny breathed in catching way to much of her scent. It was one thing that she was so close to him that her heartbeat was vibrating against his skin. He needed to stop breathing before he would attack her, so he did. He knew questions were going to start up and he knew it wouldn't be long before she noticed his strange beauty, cold skin, and all the other different features about him.

Her demeanor pulled a one-eighty the second he hugged her. And now she couldn’t stop crying. Her hands shook lightly, a mix of emotions ran rampant. She rested her head on his shoulder letting the tears fall. The tight embrace wasn’t the warm one she’d always hoped for at his return. It was off. Everything was off. “You’ve been, here for three years?” She looked around the cave, there was nothing. Her head returned to his shoulder. “What does that even mean, why didn’t you come home? Why didn’t you even say hi once in a while? We thought you were dead!”
She wasn’t even beginning to comprehend the vastness of the situation. All that mattered was that he was there, alive. Well… Sort of. He was stronger, much. She didn’t remember that. And he didn’t seem to be breathing….or… have a pulse. Nita was quiet for a moment, listening intently, trying to find the missing pieces of her long-lost-brother. But they never showed. She pulled away slightly, looking at his eyes. Eyes that she didn’t notice until now, that were a completely different color. In fact his entire face seemed different. This was not the brother she had back in the days. But who was he?
“Kenny… what’s going on?” The words where soft, as if any loud noise would disturb the palpable air of confusion, rage, and sadness. She bit the inside of her cheek, unsure if she was going to like what she was about to hear.

Kenny was very, very unsure of what to do. He couldn't let his parents see him like this! For one, they would think of him crazy and two, they wouldn't believe him until he proved himself a vampire. What would they think of him? Would they hate him for the species he is now? Kenny didn't want these answers and he didn't want mum and dad to go through the pain of loosing him again.
Kenny let his fingers run through Bonita's hair. He used to always play with her hair when she was upset about something. Unless, of course, she fixed it up all nice and in that case he wouldn't touch it. "I will be here for you from now on. I will help you with school and whatever else you need. I promise not to leave you again." He wanted to say that before he would say anything else. He was, after all, the oldest brother...even though he didn't look it anymore he was.
He could start off with the story on his disappearance. He knew up until the biting and turning part she would believe him, but what after that? Would she believe him? He will live forever. What's the fun in that? He knew there was only one way to get rid of this issue and that's sadly suicide into fire. Fire, as far as he knows, is the only way vampires can die. He wasn't like that. He would never kill himself. He couldn't leave his siblings and girlfriend like that..
He didn't even realize she had pulled away until she spoke. His hand move from her hair to her shoulder. "I can't go home." He said looking at her with a sad expression. " I never left on purpose. I never wanted to leave my family and I tried so hard to...come back but I couldn't. Please believe me....I can't tell you why I left though. I'm sorry" She would have to figure it out...That, or he wasn't going to tell her he's a vampire at all!

A shiver ran up her spine as his cold fingers grazed her scalp and neck underneath her hair. He spoke again, she paid close attention, hanging on every word, trying to understand what was beneath it all. Maybe there was a key in the way he spoke, but in any case he didn’t exactly seem like he wanted to say it outright. He was going to stick around. A small smile graced her lips for a moment before remembering the situation again. Bonnie placed a few of her fingers, on his shoulder. A caring gesture, but one really to discern something she missed before. . Her mind flipped. How did he not have a pulse? Her hand was there for over a minute, nothing. Not a beat to be felt. Time passed, nothing. Now she was getting worried.
Drugs don’t do that. Not without putting the druggie in a coma anyway. So that wasn’t it. Cross one of the possibilities list. But what else did that leave. What the hell leaves you pulse-less and standing? Easy. Mythical creatures. She scoffed the idea out of her head. For a kid who read about them all her life, watched movies on folklore, and read comic books based on the subject, it was all the more un-realistic. While still trying to come up with rational reasoning, the back of her mind went through the irrational.
Couldn’t be a zombie, wasn’t asking for brains. Too cold and not hairy enough to be a ‘wolf. Not gooey enough to be a creature from the black lagoon. The thoughts made her smile widen a tad.
He began to speak again. Focus. “I can’t go home.” Her face dropped, back to the scowl that was painted on before. What did he mean he couldn’t go home, he just said he was going to be there for her from then on! And he couldn’t tell her why either? “What could possibly be so bad that your own family can’t see you? Can’t know you are alive?” She took a step back, the fire back in her eyes. Her arms were crossed now. Back into angry mode.

Kenny could tell she was trying to feel a pulse. His heart was a stand still though, never to move again. He never liked it and he knew very well that she would absolutely hate it... He dreaded the moment when she would find the truth because he feared she would hate him for it. A sigh slowly escaped his lips and he began to breath again, every once in a while a breath would come in and go out.
“What could possibly be so bad that your own family can’t see you? Can’t know you are alive?” He watched as she stepped back and folded her arms across her chest, her face red angry. Kenny felt so bad, but he couldn't help the truth of matters. "I'm sorry." He told her looking down. He didn't bring his eyes up to look at her, but only because of what he was about to say...
"Mum and dad are to never know I'm here. They are to believe I'm dead and you have to keep that secret or you risk their lives. You seeing me is already a risk." To her, it must likely sounded like gang business, and in a way it kind of way. The Volturi were nasty about their ways but they kept things in order.
Kenny needed to find a way she could guess what he's become. If she wouldn't he would have to tell her because he knew Bonnie would want to tell their parents... He needed them to not know. He reached out for her arm that was still folded then placed her hand over his heart so she would know for sure their wasn't anything there. His skin was freezing against the warmth of her, a little jealously come over him because of it. "Just...pay close attention. If I start to scare you...let me know." He knew this was cheating the fact of her finding out on her own. "I never tan." He began walking over to a tree and leaning his back against it. "My eyes will never be the brown they used to be." Kenny reached over to a low, thick branch and with his hand slowly tore it off with ease. Then, without warning, he took off at vampire speed so he was out of her sight, then ran up behind her so quietly she wouldn't be able to tell. "Behind you." He said in a soft tone.

All the talk about risks and stuff was a bit confusing, but ever more to the big question. She arched a brow as she watched him move around. ”Just… Pay close attention. If I start to scare you…let me know.” Few things scared her. And none of them were in the woods right now. ”I never tan” Easy enough clue, but then again what Englishman did? Then he walked over to the tree. Saying something about eye color that could be true of any anime crazed cosplayer. Then there was the terribly loud sound of the branch splitting from the tree, her eyes widened and her lips curled upward. And then he was gone. Not gone, just behind her.
No way. Not really! This wasn’t possible! AWESOME. The goofy grin that hadn’t been there for years stretched her cheeks, wide. This. This was an acceptable reason. Made complete sense too. She turned to face him smiling like an idiot. “Okay. Okay. Okay. First of all. I’m sorry I threatened to kill you, this is so much cooler than sky pirates. Though, not at much as time travel.” She laughed a bit, this, this was a bit relieving in a way. “You can’t be a Vampire. You aren’t cool enough. You aren’t scary. And you certainly aren’t sexy enough.” She chuckled again.

Her reaction was not what he expected or wanted! He wanted her to be scared that way she would be careful around him. He felt it would keep her safer. Sighing, he shook his head at her. "First of all, I am sexy and you know it.." He smirked momentarily before making a serious face. "Not cool enough to be a vampire?" He was hinting and not really looking for an answer. Ken filled his lungs with the smell of her blood to help him loose a little of his control. The golden-brown eyes slowly turned to black and he looked at her with a facial expression that read pure hunger. He hated doing this, it really wasn't need but...he didn't see that. All he saw was helping protect her. Just as long as he doesn't fully loose his control.
Without warning, Kenny shoved his sister into the outside of the cave wall. He walked to her wrapping his right hand around her neck. "I kill to live, Bonnie. Everyday of my life I crave... Death is apart of me." Each of his words were clearly hints although his main purpose is to scare the living crap out of her. He could fill her pulse on her neck....beating against his hand, luring him. He let go and back away from her. "Leave....Now." He couldn't loose control..Not now..

Mason let out a sigh of relief as he walked out of the skating arena, hockey practice over and his sweaty equipment all inside his bag. Today had been a good day. He had spent some of the morning with Kenny at some kind of candy shop... It was almost like old times until he spat it out in disgust. After that he had hockey practice and had pretty decent. Although one of the defensemen had slammed him pretty hard into the boards and Mason was sure he was going to feel that tomorrow morning. They had a game this coming weekend so he really needed to get ready.
After placing his equipment into the trunk of the car he did a check on his watch and noticed that Bonnie had not arrived yet. Her car was in the shop so she needed him to get around. She was supposed to meet him after practice. Turning around he could see a single figure making its way down the road. It probably was Bonnie but there was a chance it might be Daylon... Mason smiled thinking about that girl. She seemed to be around him every day since they first met. Normally Mason would have thought her a stalker but he enjoyed her company allot.
As the figure neared he saw that it was indeed Bonnie, and she was not headed towards him but instead bolted into the forest. Mason frowned for a moment before deciding to go after her. There were things in those woods that could hurt her.. Especially now that ash was... Well ash was different.
He chased after her for a few minutes before arriving at what seemed to be a cave and saw her enter. Stopping for a moment to catch his breath he approached it before pausing to listen to the discussion inside.
"I kill to live, Bonnie. Everyday of my life I crave... Death is apart of me." Kenny's words made Mason freeze. He sounded dangerous, Mason didn't want to believe his brother would attack Bonnie but what could he believe these days?
"Leave....Now." With that MAson entered the cave in a bit of a run and saw the scene of Bonnie with Kenny just inches from her neck..
"Or what Kenny? Will you bite her? He called out, he was pissed but also disappointed.

Bonnies eyes shot open and she tried to stop herself from laughing. Even though she was still rubbing her neck because Her oldest brother may just have bruised it, it was kind of comical how her other brother just popped in. Wait. He didn’t know. Shit. “OH. UH. HI MASON!” She pressed her lips together tightly for a moment, processing the situation. “I FOUND KENNY!” She let out one big “HAH” and then her smile disappeared. Her eyes practically still wide enough to land a plane on those shiny globes. She slinked away from Kenny toward Mason. “SO. Um. Nice seeing you bro. Uh. Mason was just about to take me home. Stay in touch. Uh.” She looked to the less curly brother. He wasn’t buying it. His face was as angry as her’s earlier. Wait… did he say bite? Did he know? She looked to Kenny’s face for a moment.
Now she began to get angry again. She whipped back to the other. “YOU KNEW AND DIDN’T TELL ME.” Bonnie took two steps over to him and punched his shoulder. “Then you go running around leaving me alone with NOTHING. And you KNEW he was alive?!”

"Or what Kenny? Will you bite her?" Kenny stopped breathing as he heard his brothers voice. All three of them were outside the cave, he was a foot away from Bonnie. “I FOUND KENNY!” GAH! This was harder than he though trying to scare her. But then her smiled faded moving to Mason. Good, finally. He didn't want Mason to see that though. If only he knew what he were really up too then maybe he wouldn't mind as much. "I wasn't going to bite her." He said honestly.
"I was trying to scare her so she would have some since not to be like Ash. To not want to be like me...So she would be careful around me." He told him, his eyes shifting back to the golden-brown. He wasn't in that hunger mood anymore...now he was sad. His lips formed into a frown really feeling terrible Mason saw that. "I didn't mean for her to see me either." Mason had a shifters stinch on him..Gross..Why in the world was a shifter scent there? He decided not to say anything to him yet, instead he focused on his siblings and the situation.

Mason flinched as Bonnie punched him, not out of pain, he'd had worse, but mostly from her reaction.
"Yeah, I kept it a secret from you, I'm sorry sis but Kenny said we should keep it secret... And I figured he'd tell you when he felt is necessary." He was still a bit angry at Kenny but it started to subside.
"I'm sure you wouldn't have bitten her... Still I cant be too safe." he mumbled in response to Kenny's statement.
"Bonnie, you don't want to be like Kenny... I know I don't." he paused before looking at Kenny "I don't think scaring her is going to work... But the brutal truth may... Have you told her about Ash?"

She rolled her eyes as they both blabbered on about danger and stuff like that. The fact that Kenny said he was ‘trying’ to scare her made her feel all the more… safe. In a way. That meant he had enough control over whatever to not… uh. Kill her. ”Bonnie, you don’t want to be like Kenny… I know I don’t” She scoffed. “Who said I want to be like Kenny? I’m not about to put my neck out or anything.” She laughed at the idea; her brother biting her would be a bit creepy. First thing that actually ‘scared’ her. “I’m just treating him like my brother. Because you know, he still is.” She grimaced, Mason seemed to be a lot angrier than her. And that worried her a bit. Should she have reason to be angry too?
Oh god, ASH. How had she forgotten about ASH? She’d been so caught up in the fact that her brother returned from the dead, but somehow died in the process…. And confusing conundrums like that. Her eyes shot to Kenny and she folded her arms. “Yeah. Uh. You know why Ash is missing?” She cocked her head to the side, all this head movement was gonna give her whiplash sooner or later. “And you haven’t mentioned this becaaaaaause?” She drew out the last syllable as she twiddled her hand around in circle. Demanding an explanation.

"I don't think scaring her is going to work... But the brutal truth may... Have you told her about Ash?" Kenny glared at Mason. He didn't want to tell her right now. It was way to much at one time, even he knew that. "Don't you think finding out I'm still around is enough right now?" He asked shaking his head then looking to Bonnie. “Who said I want to be like Kenny? I’m not about to put my neck out or anything.” He laughed lightly.
“Yeah. Uh. You know why Ash is missing?” Kenny bit his lower lip and sighed. "Ash...got shot he was dying so I saved him. He's like me now."
