Je vous salue, Marie, pleine de grâce. Le Seigneur est avec vous. Vous êtes bénie entre toutes les femmes, et Jésus, le fruit de vos entrailles, est béni. Charles finished the prayer with a sign before sliding down his night vision goggles. He was perched high up on a rocky cliff with a very good sight of the forest below. About a hundred yards away he could see his target. The creature made its way silently through the forest dragging a large form behind it, if it wasn't for Charles motion detector he would a missed it. Zooming in he could see the vampire was carrying a limp body along with it, probably its meal. Charles had found this area the day before and in and around it the signs that a vampire was feeding here were everywhere. Watching from the cliff side he watched the vampire stop before taking the body and sinking its teeth in. The body was that of an old man, mostlikely taken out of a funeral home and only to be returned later that night. The vampire itself seemed to be in his early 30's and while it was difficult to tell with the green tint of his night goggles Charles could tell he fed on people often from its eyes. With a sigh Charles brought up the rifle, he would only get one shot at this. While a vampire couldn't outrun a bullet it would probably get to him and rip him apart before he got the second shot off. This bullet had to incapacitate at one. AS a result Charles usually tried to aim for the torso to try and separate top from bottom. He took the shot. In the blink of an eye the bullet soared through the air into the vampires stomach. Any normal bullet would have simply deflected off and maybe cracked the skin, but these projectiles were armor piercing incendiary rounds. Through the scope he saw the bullet enter before igniting with a bright flash. Charles smiled, another side effect of the venom that created the vampires was that it was extremely flammable. Shrieking in pain the vampire tried to take two stumbling steps towards him before his legs fell out from under him, his midsection completely destroyed. Jumping down from his perch Charles grabbed a fuel canister from from his belt and walked up beside the dying vampire. "Well child, do you have any regrets? Anything to say before I cast your soul into the great beyond?" Charles asked as he opened the fuel canister. The vampire merely let out another shriek in pain while trying to claw at his feet. "Very well, may the lord have mercy on your soul" Charles continued grimly before pouring the fuel onto its body and legs lying about a meter away. The gasoline instantly caught light from the damage caused earlier turning the vampire into a massive flaming torch. Charles grimaced in disgust before walking over to the old man. The man was dying, his blood gushing out of the wound at his throat, normally Charles would have burned the man aswell however there was no chance that he would turn. "I am sorry i was unable to help you sooner, but take joy in knowing that you no longer need to suffer" with that he pulled out his pistol and fired a single round into the mans head. Charles muttered a prayer for forgiveness then moved to another section of the clearing. He would have to keep watch over the burning vampire to ensure that it truly did die. Only then he would rest. Given the amount of noise this kill had caused Charles knew there was a good chance other creatures would be attracted to this area. (Currently he is wearing a full set of military combats including facepaint. His weapons are all those that I put in the character bio but also he has a couple fuel canisters attached to his belt.)

What sane human would go off into the forest alone at night? One that knew she had vampires to save her in case something bad happened. Okay, so Anastasia was a little crazy. What human would live with vampires? Okay, so the Cullens did not eat people, only animals. She was safe on that front. But it was the fact that they were all way more stronger than her body was and could hurt her accidentally without meaning to. It was something Ana had to think about constantly.
Things were finally going well in the Cullen house for Ana.Finally, Ana didn't hide when Edward came to visit. Just the opposite, she would run to hug him. It had surprised him the first time she did it, but it seemed that he was getting used to it. And to top that off, she was actually becoming friends with Rosalie. It seemed everything was finally falling in place. Ana had the family she always wanted. Sure she still missed her family dearly, but the family she had now was the next best thing.
As Anastasia pushed on, the wind shifted. Her long, hip-length, chestnut brown curls danced in the playful breeze. But soon, a smell assaulted her nose. And soon, the purple smoke that caused the smell engulfed the area. Ana began coughing and moved her hand over her nose and mouth to filter the air as she squinted through watery eyes trying to see. Soon she began regretting the fact that she had in golden brown contacts in. She had wanted to fit in with her family with their eye color, but the contacts were now irritating her eyes making them itchy and it harder to see through the smoke.
Finally, Ana found the source of the smoke, someone had been burning something. Stepping around the burning piles, Ana cleared the smoke as the wind stopped, letting her hair settle around her in it's naturally curled state. Now that the human girl could see, she soon found it was a body that smoked as it burned. Question was, why was it purple? She looked around more and found the body of an old man as well. The human girl gasped as her hand flew to her neck, her heart racing. What had she walked upon? Outfit: www.polyvore.com/anastasia_explorations/set?id=24705593

From his hiding place Charles detected the girls approach long before he saw her, his motion detector picking up her heartbeat and movements as she neared the clearing. The fact that she had a normal heartbeat meant she was human. Looking through his green tinted night vision goggles he saw her enter the clearing and with Charles was surprised when he recognized her. It was the young girl he had met just days earlier... The one who lived with all those vampires. The thought both interested and disgusted him. On one hand he was curious to know why the demonic creatures allowed a human to live with him, on the other he felt that she was tainted, forever damaged due to her interaction with them. But while god was a vengeful he was also forgiving, maybe the girl could be redeemed. She was wearing surprisingly little clothing considering the cold weather but perhaps she had not meant to venture this far into the forest. No matter. Silently Charles took out a small notepad and scribbled a message onto it before making his way behind the girl. The message what a simple one. Who are you and why are you here?He was about 5 meters from her when he made a sharp whistling sound making her turn around. In one hand he held out the piece of paper he had written on, in the other he held his rifle ready in case the girl was more than she appeared. (as for my guys appearance well, pretty much this outfit on his normal body (so blonde hair and such) www.mariocube.nl/upload/Splinter_Cell_Tom_Clancys1648970533.jpg except that his goggles don't glow and don't have the third lens between the two. He doesn't have that pistol instead his weapon in his hand is this sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/download?mid=a56129347fd529f275245bacc624b0f9&rtyp=lt&ctyp=other&ts=1273326532000)

Ana was confused. Genuinely confused. Why was there a body burning in the woods? Did she walk in on something she shouldn't have? It made her a little worried that the person that did this would return and try to kill her. But before she could leave, there was a whistle behind her. She spun sending her hair twirling around her small figure. She spotted the guy and immediately looked to the gun in his hand. Her golden eyes widened as she looked up to his face. Who was this person.
She stood very still. She wouldn't move in case this guy decided to be trigger happy. "Are you going to shoot me?" She asked him. There was a tiny tinge of fear in her voice. She didn't move though. She just thought about the fact that she wished someone was here to help her. One well placed shot from that gun and she would be dead. She knew how the family would take it. Esme would want someone's head. She didn't want to be the cause of sadness. So she stayed calm. Then she saw the note and read the words. "I'm Anastasia. Rowena." She spoke nervously. "I went for a walk to clear my head." Really it was the truth. When Ana needed fresh air, she would walk and think. The time alone away from vampires worrying about her was nice. It was a good break from the hecticness inside.

With a sigh Charles checked his motion sensor before kneeling down. He could tell he was scaring the girl. He didn't want to but that just was how things worked out. While he kept the gun within quick reach he took out the pen and paper again. If she really was a creature of the damned she would not be so scared.
So young, yet already already she was tainted. Charles hoped that somehow she could be saved, saved before she became another victim like the old man. After making another check with the motion detector Charles clicked the pen and began writing.
No doubt the girl was wondering what was happening. For a moment Charles considered lying but decided that maybe it would be better if she knew what had happened here. Knew the horrors these creatures were capable of. Either way he knew she would tell the others at that damnable house what had happened.
Relax child, Im not going to hurt you. What Ive done here is simply gods holy work, eradicating the world of these horrors. The creature you see there is a Vampire, he was in the process of killing that old man when i intervened. I wasn't able to save him and was forced to put him out of his misery. I regret that this was the outcome. Child I ask of you to reconsider your life. I am well aware of those who reside with you, they are simply animals and while they protect you now in the end they will only kill or damn you for eternity. I implore you to reject them, to repent and live a normal life, now while you are still young.
Charles finished writing before standing up again and passed her the note.

Ana watched every movement he made carefully. She watched him shift his gun to write a message on the paper in his hand. Then he gave it to her to read. Her eyes grew wide when she read it. Edward, if you can hear me I need help. SHe thought out to her brother. She really hoped someone was close by to help. Ana really didn't want to die, not yet.
Ana looked at him and took a step back. "They won't hurt me. They feed purely on animals. And I can't leave because they are the only family I have. I have no where else." She looked at him taking another step back. Please let someone help, she thought loudly in her head.
But now his words finally processed. That was a vampire burning. He killed a vampire. Vampires could die? He could kill her family. The thoughts bounced around her head as her eyes grew wide and she tripped over the body of the old man as she was backing away. She hit the ground and started crawling away backwards. The was scared, really scared. When her back collided with a tree, she stopped. She was trapped. She wouldn't out run him if he shot at her. She was toast. She was going to die out here where no one would find her body.
Ana suddenly wished she was at home. Why had I come out here alone? She thought. She took so many things for granted. Now the small things she thought didn't mean a thing meant a whole lot more to her. She just wanted to be home and safe.

Today was the day to get back in the swing of things for him as he went on a hunt alone. He told Brooke he wanted to do this alone. He was on the hunt in the deep part of the Fork's forest. So not a single soul could bother him....He was beginning to give up the hunt today as he could not find any source of what he actually wanted. He would have to call his wife his hunt was unsuccessful....So he would have to head on back to the Cullen house and break the bad news to his wife that he might need help. It has been about a few months since he killed that human and shifter in Port Angele's...."Edward, if you can hear me I need help." Well, that was some thing he was not expecting to hear in his mind....Ana? What the hell was she doing out here?! But she was calling for help. Her voice was uneasy in his mind as he heard her. She was with in range and not far he hoped...He moved quickly to get to her.
Kicking up his speed he ran through the trees with top notch speed. He was heading for his sister to hope that she was alright as well. But she would not call out to him like this unless she was really in trouble. And her voice said it all. "Why had I come out here alone?" He heard that a bit louder now as he was approaching closer and closer....As he saw his sister there with another guy. A guy Edward had no idea who he was...."ANA!" Edward shouted her name out as he got a glimpse of the scene of what was going on. Edward swallowed hard in his throat as he looked at the guy. He was obviously responsible for the death of the two bodies...that were now hard to make out. But Edward knew none the less. He had to cover his nose to block the scent since it was so damned strong to him! Edward was standing right behind sister a few feet away when he called her name....

((Cloud gave this post a look over to make sure nothing was bad))
Charles had just a fraction of a second to react when the motion sensor went off. He recognized the pattern with which it was vibrating, something’s coming, and it doesn’t have a heartbeat. With a quick movement he reached up with his left hand and grabbed a flash bang grenade, pulled the pin and kept a strong grip on the handle to prevent it from going off. With his other hand he dropped the rifle before reaching up to deactivate the night vision goggles. It was all he was able to get done before a new figure stepped up behind the young girl.
“ANA!” the figure screamed out loud. So it was a man, a smile formed on Charles face, this was going to be an interesting fight. As he watched the figure stepped in front of the girl, anger clear on its face. The motion detector didn’t lie. It was one of the undead.
“Who are you?” the newcomer said taking a couple steps closer, Charles could make out his face in the firelight, and smiled.
“Well aren’t you just a treat” Charles replied before releasing his grip on the flash bang, closed his eyes, and spun around to face away from the blast with his arm over his face. There was a loud bang followed by a blinding white flash, with that Charles broke out into a run scooping up his rifle before spinning around to see the results of his flash bang. He could see the man stumble about grasping the air where he used to be. This was why Charles loved flashbangs, where a normal human may be blinded for only five seconds and rendered deaf a vampires acute senses caused the damage to be magnified exponentially. Behind him he could see the girl screaming. She had been far enough to not suffer the full effects of the blast but no doubt the sudden blindness and deafness were scary enough, Charles felt a pang in his heart at the sight. He would have to punish himself for allowing her to be harmed later. Raising up his rifle Charles started to line up his shot.
“I can still smell” With that Edward dashed towards Charles seeming like a blur. Charles managed to get a shot off but it simply grazed over the vampires shoulder leaving a scar before detonating in mid air. Charles tried to get a second shot off but his rifle was quickly smacked out of his hand before a kick sent him flying into a tree.
“Maudit, c’est vite” Charles groaned. His body armor had absorbed most of the impact, looking over though he noticed his arm hanging limply at his side. Most likely the impact had dislodged his arm out of his socket, maybe even broken it. The vampire was smart. Many of the vampires he had hunted before didn’t realize their sense of smell was still intact when he used those grenades. And he had thought the smoke would have been enough to mask his smell. Only now did he realize the burning bodies were now downwind.
“I won’t let you hurt her,” Edward called out before drawing a deep breath smelling the surroundings. A second later Edwards fist smashed through the tree that Charles had been laying on. He had barely had time to doge that punch.
“ I wouldn’t have anyway, but I will hurt you.” Charles hissed knowing the vampire probably couldn’t hear him still. Only five meters away he noticed Ana slowly getting up, her eyes readjusting to the darkness. Moving fast he pulled out his pistol and fired.
It was a fluke shot, a lucky shot. And Charles knew that. AS if in slow motion he watched as the bullet from the pistol exploded out, moving serenely through the air before entering Edwards neck, exiting the other side. Like a puppet with his strings cut the vampire fell to the ground, the bullet having destroyed his spinal cord. Charles knew the damage would be quickly repaired and he would have to move. Struggling up onto his feet he gave out a wet cough of blood before pointing the pistol at Edward once again.
“Do you have any last words, creature?” Charles asked, knowing it probably couldn’t hear him. The thing had put up a good fight, and Charles felt a strange amount of respect for it. Reaching for his belt he took out another capsule full of gasoline and began to pour it over the vampire. Two vampires in one night. That almost never happened...

Ana was more than a little relieved that Edward had shown up to help her. She was glad her brother was there to help. She was scared out of her mind she was going to get shot and die. But then the flash bang went off and Ana was blind and deaf for a little bit. She was so confused and scared. How could she defend herself now? But then her sight and hearing returned and she watched in horror as her brother was shot. She let out a squeal in horror and stood to her feet.
Ana knew she didn't have much time. She also knew she had a chance to get shot, but she couldn't sit around and do nothing as Edward was killed. She also knew Edward could hear her very thought process. "I'm sorry Edward." sHe muttered softly as she took off in a dead run at the guy and then flinging herself into him with a force enough to dislocate her shoulder and knock him over.
Anastasia had never been a fighter. But right now she had to give Edward a chance. So while the guy was down, she started punching him, hitting him anywhere she could. It hurt like hell in her left shoulder where she had hit him and dislocated it. But this would give Edward a chance to be alright. "Not my brother. No you won't kill my brother." SHe spoke over and over again as she punched the guy continuously with tears falling down her cheek. She knew her hits probably didn't hurt that much, but it was something. That and what person would cry while fighting? She really was a piece of work.

“Do you have any last words, creature?” Pain beyond pain was surging through his body.....If he was not slightly death he would be able to answer that question....The pain his body was so intense he had could not stand back up. As his fingers clenched the dirt under neath him, he felt some thing wet being poured on him.....If he had a heart it would be pounding ten times faster than average....But after a few seconds his wound healed easily...He was still on the ground and unaware of what was going on....But then he smelled it...Gasoline...
"I'm sorry Edward." His hearing was coming back too now as he heard that plain and clear...."Not my brother. No you won't kill my brother." He heard his sister as he laid on the ground. "Ana....No...." He said weakly...Edward looked over at his wedding ring...And thought about his wife...She couldn't loose him. Not this early...But just as he heard what Ana though, he stood back up quickly! "Ana!" Edward saw what she had did to the vampire hunter. Yes, Edward was now aware of what was going on and why those other people were killed. And he was next if he did not get to his feet and help his sister out...He was now all healed, Ana gave him enough time to heal...As he grabbed Ana and launched her on his back...."I'm sorry..." There was still that foul smell of gasoline over his body! But if he could Ana away from the vampire hunter then all would alright....He would not let any thing happen to his sister then and he would not let anything happen now! He promised her nothing was going to happen....

Charles stood there for a moment watching the vampire run off, partly annoyed, partly relieved. Clutching his broken arm he slowly made his way to the burning corpse of the vampire he killed earlier, with a grunt of pain he slowly separated its limbs from one another and grabbed the head in one hand. For a moment he considered taking his weapons but decided that would not be necesary, he had many more at home and for now they were not a risk to anyone. Once his arm had healed he would return to reclaim them.
He cursed as he felt the pain of his arm again. It would leave him out of action for the next few weeks. Silently he prayed to god for forgiveness, to forgive him for not being able to continue his work and to forgive him for allowing the abomination to run off with the girl.
The thought of the girl calmed him down, she was innocent in all this carnage, a simple bystander who the heathens had decided to toy around with, he wondered if they were to meet again if he would be able to do what was right, to kill her. He dismissed the idea without a thought. Unless she was turned there was always hope she could be saved. God was forgiving and would always welcome home a lost sheep. No mater how tainted she became she could be cleansed. Smiling at the thought he painfully made his way home. He couldn't go to the hospital, no he would have to mend his arm himself... But how.

Ana had been all too ready to keep pounding into the guy that had been trying to kill her brother. Painful as it was, she would do it as long as she had to. Her fists were slightly bloody from all of the contact she made. Her skin was soft and frail. There was a reason she wasn't a fighter. So with her hands slightly torn up and her dislocated shoulder, she was in a fair amount of pain. But she wasn't going to stop until made to. So when Edward pulled her away she was relieved. But it didn't stop her from giving him a couple of kicks to the side for good measure.
Ana had to groan a little in pain when she was slung onto Edward's back, but she held on as tight as she could. "No I am so sorry Edward. I shouldn't have put you at risk like that. I am such an idiot. I shouldn't have left the house." She spoke in a rush. She felt like a complete moron. She kept her eyes shut so she had no idea where they were headed. But once they began to be far enough away she could feel Edward slow down. She sighed and opened her eyes but leaned her head against his shoulder blade.
Anastasia closed her eyes for a minute as her shoulder started hurting more. The adrenaline was dying and she could feel it worse. "I think I dislocated my shoulder." She muttered softly. She was trying not to think about the pain though. She knew someone at the house could fix it. SHe just hoped that they had something to kill the pain because at that point she wanted to cry.

"No I am so sorry Edward. I shouldn't have put you at risk like that. I am such an idiot. I shouldn't have left the house." "Stop it Ana...I'm fine okay. It's you I'm more worried about." And how could he not be worried about his sister? She was so fragile to him. That if the slightest push or nudge would turn her skin to a bruise. He was that careful with her. "I think I dislocated my shoulder." "Hold on...I smell like a gasoline can...Damn him..." Edward beyond angry at that man that did this to him and to his sister. But all in all Edward couldn't help but blame himself for this. He always would and always will blame himself if he was there when his sister got hurt. Even if he did nothing but only try and protect her.
He started to speed through the woods away from the smell of burning flesh. He couldn't stand it. And he wanted to get his sister back home so their father could fix her up...He traveled through the forest at a top speed. until he made it to a small little pond...He let her off his back easily...She had to rest. So he would give her the chance to take breather. As he let slide off his back he walked away from her trying to stay away from her as far as possible...He was still unsure of himself....She would know why he was staying his distance...

Ana shook her head the tears barely being held back behind her lids. "No, I almost got you killed. If I would have lost you out there. I don't know what I would have done. That guy knows his stuff. He knows how to kill vampires and could take down our whole family. And I may have just led him to us." Ana felt like an idiot. She shouldn't have implicated the family the way she did. She may have just single handedly brought down their entire family. Yeah, she would never live this one down.
Ana nodded and gripped tighter as her brother sped up. "Sorry." She thought to him. She was genuinely sorry for all of this. She put Edward in danger and she could have gotten herself killed too. She never should have left the house. How much more of an idiot could she be? When he stopped Ana recognized the pond. She knew where she was at, but she would rather not venture home alone. Her shoulder was killing her, almost a blinding white hot pain. She must have really hit that guy hard to do this much damage to herself. She knew her shoulder was probably bruising already.
When Edward set her down and walked away, Ana knew why. He still didn't trust himself around her even though she trusted him. If she had to get help from any of the Cullens, she would go to Edward first. He understood her the most and he was a guardian angel for her.
The human girl walked to the pond edge and bent down and let her hands dip into the cool water. It felt good but stung slightly. She rubbed trying to clean off excess blood to see to what extent she had messed them up. She could still bend all her fingers so nothing was broken. The skin was just scrapped and torn a little, nothing serious. It would heal easily. Her shoulder was the main problem. The pain grew with each moment that passed. So much that it was causing her head to hurt. She had to sit back and close her eyes to try to hopefully get it to pass. God, did she wish Carlisle had some good pain killers for it at the house. Because with this pain there was no way she was sleeping.

"No, I almost got you killed. If I would have lost you out there. I don't know what I would have done. That guy knows his stuff. He knows how to kill vampires and could take down our whole family. And I may have just led him to us."
"You remind me of me. We just have way to much in common. We were obviously meant to know each other. You're right. I still don't trust myself around you. Especially when I am alone with you. But if I have to leave you to keep you safe, I will."
Edward looked back at her. He couldn't get over the way he smelled. It was awful. But he knew if he didn't get back home and shower himself clean of the gasoline he was in trouble. But he was trying to keep himself from her. He hated himself. He knew how she felt about him. And that was totally unacceptable...She trusted a vampire? That was not right for him. He even knew that she considered him as her guardian angel? Really? That was so out of whack. He was any thing but an angel. But he would not get in an argument with her about it. She could pitch a tantrum better than Rosalie! And that was not giving her credit. It was just true....
"I think we better get back home....Come on..." He picked her up carefully not to hurt her shoulder and waited til she was holding on tightly...He sped back right back to the Cullen house in a heart beat. He knew where he was. She was not far from the house. She was for walking distance. But not for a vampire's distance....After he got her inside...He locked the front door to make sure she was safe and he went to the back door too and locked that door. He also locked all other french doors. He was acting so over protective. But what if that guy was tracking them? Edward had to make sure that Ana was safe....He walked back over to the couch and looked his sister over...She have a lot of bruises...And her shoulder was not broken....As he thought it was...
"Let me look...." He looked her over completely. To make sure he was right. Hopefully he was right.
