A mansion with a chilling aura meets your eyes as you step out of your vehicle. Cleverly created fog hinders your vision of the lawn, but as your draw closer, you find yourself lost in an eerie cemetery. Tombstone after tombstone wither away from wear of age…grave-keepers wander slowly through the grass…their hoods drawn up, hiding their darkened faces. Lightning flashes through the fog as thunder rumbles the earth beneath your feet. Ethereal music can be heard…softly filling the air with wind, organs, and a shrill laughter.
Upon reaching the entrance, you’re greeted by a creature too hideous to be considered alive. As he requests your names, you find it hard to look him in the eye. After gaining his satisfaction of uneasiness, he finally allows you to pass…
You then enter the foyer which remains dimmer than expected. Cobb webs plague every corner, spiders watching your every move. Candles provide the main source of light. Flickering shadows off the wall, they illuminate skeletons upon skeletons…reaching out in desperation. The music of the ball can be heard, but it’s still far off. Replacing it, is the sinister melody of a child’s voice.
Ring around the Rosie, A pocket full of posies. Ashes! Ashes! We all fall down!
An innocent, yet twisted laughter rings through the hall as you’re encouraged to press forward.
You are escorted up the grand staircase, where you finally reach the grand doors. With a satisfied smile, two executioners open the doors…revealing you to the grand hall. Upon entering, you see the familiar flicker of candles aided by a soft orange hue of light. The bass of the music overpowers the thunder and laughter, lightening the mood just a hair. Not all is lost, though. Cobb webs continue to stretch from candles to the tables, and lightning still flashes through the settling fog.
As you look to your left and right, you see two long tables filled with snacks and drinks. Watch out for the ice hand in the punch though! Straight ahead, on a slightly raised platform, you see three Gothic thrones. One for each: Aro, Caius, and Marcus. »HAVE FUN!«YAML Staff

The night had finely arrived of the Volturi Halloween party Aro and the other leaders have spent months planning this down to the very last skull, this would be the first time the Volturi would let anyone enter their domain if only for the party. This would mean wolfs, humans, vampires alike the grand hall decorated in the season skulls bodies and selections of food all layer out on the table most it was human food as vampires only eat human food to blend in.
Aro made his way down the stairs in his Vampire costume, the Volturi guard had already arrived well the ones doing security for the night. The thrones where all ready in place for the leaders, but Marcus was late, no doubt out scaring children like he does, Aro daughter Jewel was still in her room awaiting her date who was late as well he approached the throne and sat down watching the doors as guests began to arrive, this would be one hell of a night for everyone maybe even a killer night.

Jewel sat at the window side of her bedroom it was on this date that her entire life changed it was the night Jewel joined the ranks of the Immortal, the young girl did not recall anything of her human life the first thing she could recall was being carried by her father and then his long razorsharp teeth biting into her neck and draining most of her blood. then the burning brought onto her by her father's venom. The teenager shivered at the recollection of the burning that had plagued her constantly.
Jewel tried to remember the first few months of her vampire life, but a lot of that was hazy too just blood and feeding and being restrained by the guards. Jewel watched the night sky for a little longer watching the way the stars were out it was magnificent.
Letting out an unnessesary sigh for air, Jewel stood up and walked to the mirror she glanced at herself in the vampire costume an exact duplicate of her father's costume, she thought she would look cute copying her father. Jewel stretched her arms and thought about tying her hair back into a bun, she bit her lip for a moment and left it down deciding she looked better with her door down. After walking to her desk Jewel wrote out a note
Dear Alec
Someone is running late, i wonder who that could be....I have gone on to the party & Hope to see you there..LOVE JEWEL P.S when are you moving in with me
Jewel After writing the note Jewel ripped it to shreds and threw it in the waste basket, the immortal teenager sat on her bed and laid on it, she had decided to wait for Alec after all she waited an entire year for him to notice her & finally he did. I wonder if vampires celebrate birthdays...well this techniquely isn't my birthday, I can't remember, but it was the day papa turned me & made me a vampire....do they celebrate that ?...probably not, my guess is papa will be too busy to remember, I can't believe he invited so many people...It will be interesting to see these people, maybe I could make a friend outside the guard. She thought to herself waiting for Alec.

Serah had been in her quarters, preparing herself for what was possibly the most entertaining night of the year. She didn’t care too much for the holiday itself, but she knew that hosting a party would be a good move in their stay in Port Angeles. It gave the impression of humanity and kindness, which was something the Volturi needed the outside world to see them as. It did nothing for their reputation in the vampire world, but at least they could live in peace from the local officials. Getting out of the shower, Serah instinctively wrapped a towel around her body and shivered lightly. Clearing the steam from the glass, she couldn’t help but stare at herself for a moment. It had been ages since her skin had been this dark…she looked like her old Brazilian self. It only seemed fitting for her costume that she’d chosen that her complexion appear more human. Very untypical from her, she had invested in a spray on tan. Though her pale skin brought her beauty no matter what, the ivory of her costume wouldn’t blend well with her natural skin. Besides, in her opinion, white always appeared better on tan. Moving into her and Aro’s bedroom quarters, she walked to the closet and pulled down her costume. It was a simple yet elegant white dress that had a flowing strip of fabric cascading down from her shoulder. The rim was outlined in sparkling silver, showing beautifully against her now sun-kissed skin. It was a one sleeved piece, showing her flawless skin off perfectly...a golden belt buckle at the left shoulder adding a nice accent. At the bottom, instead of being a straight cut, it fell at an angle from high thigh to mid thigh. There was a matching silver headpiece that gave the outfit its partial identity. The other came from soft golden heels, whose design entangled around the greater part of her shins. If it wasn’t already obvious, she was a Greek goddess. Between her natural beauty, and the elegance of her costume, she achieved her goal of risqué yet classy. Taking one last glance in the mirror, she made her sure hair was perfectly placed before descending the quarters to the grand hall. On the way, she couldn’t help but compliment the guard’s work on the designing and the props of the party…everything seemed evil and sinister to say the least. True work of the Volturi. The guards at the doors bowed to her, showing their respects before opening the doors. Smiling lightly to them, she walked in seeing the hall still quite empty. That was to be expected of course, the party had nearly just begun. It was custom to show up fashionably late. Admiring the creativity of the food, she moved towards the three thrones at the peak of the room. There, sitting proudly in his place, was her husband. He had dressed as a vampire, which seemed a bit ironic in Serah’s opinion, but she loved it nonetheless. Even in the human’s idea of a vampire, she still thought he looked as handsome as ever. Making her way to him, she had an elegant grace that was only heightened by the costume. Her eyes locked with her husbands and she smiled admiringly as she stood before him, bowing lightly in respects to his throne. “Good evening, darling.” Her voice was sweet and innocent, filled with nothing but admiration and love for the man before her. All at once, she wished to kiss him…but remained where she was until he made his move. »SERAH'S COSTUME«

It smelled different. Make up, hair spray, spirit gum, and loads of other Halloween junk. Beads of water dripped down his skin as he dried himself off. He wrapped a blood-red towel around his waist and plugged the blow-drier in. He pressed a button and it whirred to life, sending off hot wind. After five minutes, his hair was dry, and he went to put on his undergarments. He tugged on the towel and it fell to the floor. Grabbing his pale white boxers, he slid one leg in, then the other, pulling the shorts on until they were snug around his waist. Then he put on a thin white tank. Finding his white button-down dress-shirt, he slid it on and swiftly buttoned it. Then he found the crimson velveteen vest and put it on. He snapped the snaps. Then, he put on the black dress-jacket and buttoned it. He put the medallion on. Then his pants came, and his socks and shoes. After tying them, he went to his make up. Dark, shadowy circles, retractable fangs, fake blood dripping down his mouth, shadowy, hallow cheek bones, and fake vampire bites. Then, he sprayed some black hairspray into his hair and brushed it back. Next, came his collar and the cape. He looked in the full-body mirror in his bathroom and decided he looked scary and much like Count Dracula. With a smile, he retracted his fangs and walked out of his room, shutting off the lights and closing the door.
Alec walked down the hall and took a deep breath before knocking on the door of his fiance's room. "Hey Jewel, it's me." He said, waiting to see the reaction of her face when she sees him. He opened the door and walked inside. Rounding the corner, he spotted Jewel, sitting at her desk and looking slightly annoyed. "What's wrong?" Alec said, actually knowing the reason. He was late. Really late.

The Romeo Costume For Edward^^Lifehouse:: All In.... Plays on his IPod Touch inside his Volvo.....A hand grabs his as he lets go of the steering wheel...He hated this...He really didn't want to do this. The beautiful creature sitting right beside him would know this as well. That he would do any thing but do what he was about to right now. But he was expected to be there which sucked....As his Volvo pulled into the long drive way to the manor, Edward looked over at his date..... "Ready?" He asked in a love voice....He was in no rush.... Edward was really worried about Brooke's sake though. She never had human blood and he didn't know how well she would be off seeing some rather disgusting things that Aro and the others have had put for decoration and food wise....Edward knew what he ate and that was enough. He would just be there by Brooke and help her in any way he could. He would not let any one convince her to drink or eat any thing she didn't want. Edward warned her of what was to take place...Edward had been to one of these only once but that was in Italy....Not the US.... Edward turned off the Volvo. And sat there....As he saw a few guests arrive....He hated being a Volturi...But Aro did tell him he was not going to be forced to do any thing he didn't want todo....But Edward still has his doubts about that. Edward also had his doubts about the other Cullens attending....Edward was certain they got an invitation.... "Mom give me strength..." He said very low. But completely had for got that Brooke was right there beside him....Man she looked beautiful too....He was glad she decided to say yes to be his date for this evening....He thought it would be Bella....Being vampire and all....But that didn't work out...Damn why was he constantly reminded of her? It was so wrong....Unlike all the other guests that were happy to be here...Edward wanted to be any where but here.....

Brooke watched Edward silently throughout the drive, she knew he was only doing this because he had to. He warned her about the Volturi but Brooke wasn't worried at all, she had control during times like this, it was after all how she managed not having human blood and still managed to sleep with humans all those years. She was slightly worried about losing it though, but she always dashed before she came close to drinking blood. She would however have issues when hybrids were involved, the quickened pace of their pulse accompanied by the immense amount of oft heat they gave off always made her throat ache. She knew with Edward there she wouldn't crack though so wasn't really worried. "Ready when you are, love." Brooke told him softly. She knew this was this was hard on him. He didn't want her around the Volturi but this was bound to happen eventually. She waited for him to be ready to get out. She always had immense patience with him and would wait until he was ready. She looked up at the mansion and it's many decorations. "Creepy..." she muttered, "I like it." she said lightly, trying to ease up the situation. "We are all good dear. No pressure." she said, "We can even go if you really want. >>Brooke's Costume<<

Jewel continued to wait for Alec, she smiled thinking about him at that moment in his boxes getting dressed, she smiled as she could imagine that perfect smile on his face, Alec was her man and she belonged to him. She loved him with everything she had in her heart.
Jewel stood up and examined herself once more wanting to make herself perfect for her man, her red eyes frightened her sometimes, but most of the time she enjoyed her eyes. Jewel Splashed just a little perfume on, most of the people coming to the party were vampires so in this case less was deffinately more.
Jewel decided to draw on fake bite marks on her neck and she smiled "Perfect" she spoke to herself, Returning to her desk Jewel sat down and waited for Alec, she would tap her fingers like a drum beat waiting for him and waiting.
Jewel was tempted to make a clone and see what was taking Alec so long, "he spends more time getting ready then I do" She spoke to her self and frownened. Finally footsteps could be heard as someone walked down the hall and stopped at her door, Jewel could hear someone breathe in and she knew it was Alec, not only did his natural scent give it away, but only he would take a breathe at my door.
Jewel made an aggitated facial expression as she heard him speak she waited for her fiance to open the door and "Hey Jewel, it's me." The immortal had an idea she stood up and made a clone to have her clone sit exactly where she was sitting,
Jewel ran behind the door and smiled excitedly it was rather childish to play tricks, but she did not care she was too hapy now that Alec was finally here. Jewel watched as alec opened the door and entered. "What's wrong?" Alec spoke to the clone, the clone vanished in a puff of smoke and Jewel pounced Alec jumping onto Alec's back and tying her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck "Nothing now that I have my drop dead sexy Fiance here to protect me and take me to the ball." she spoke hoping for a piggy back ride to the party. Jewel leaned in and kissed Alec's neck
ooc i figure since alec & I are alone it would be alright to post

The room smelled almost like his did, make up, hair spray, stuff like that. When his special young lady didn't answer him, a look of confusion leaped across his features, which was followed by surprise when she poofed. He figured she would pull some sort of stunt. He searched around the room, and was caught by surprise again when she jumped on his back. He was turned on when he felt her legs wrap around his waist, but he figured now wasn't the time. "Hey, baby." He smiled, feeling cool, warm, and tingly at the same time when she kissed his neck. "Wanna ride?" he smirked as he turned around and walked out of her room, shutting the lights off and closing the door.
Alec walked down the hall of the bedrooms of the highest members of the Guard. He went to his room and grabbed his bag full of bottled blood. Jewel, his fiancee, stayed in the hall because one: Alec was moving in with her. And two: she was Aro's daughter. He made a right, walked a few steps, made a left and entered the hall before the ball room. There were two tables full of food for the humans, and he found it quite fake looking. He picked up a cheeseball and popped it into his mouth, cringing at the taste. "How can humans eat this junk?" He muttered so only Jewel could hear. The real vampire walked into the ballroom and set his girlfriend down. It looked great. The Leaders did a great job with this. He held his hand out for her. "Care to dance, my love?" He flashed his teeth, and his fake fangs retracted.

Jewel smiled as she heard Alec "Hey, baby." She kissed his neck again as she heard him speak "Wanna ride?" Jewel smirked "sure" she spoke softly tightening her grip as he turned around and walked out of her room, she watched as he shut the lights off and closed the door.
Jewel stayed on Alec's back and smiled as he walked down the hall, she climbed off Alec's back and watched as he went into room she closed her eyes and remembered the last time she was in Alec's room, she was quiet and watched Alec as he grabbed a bag full with bottled blood
Jewel held Alec's hand as they walked towards the party hall she looked around and followed Alec, raising an eyebrow she watched as he picked up a cheeseball and ate it, Jewel cringed at the thought of human food, she remembered it used to taste good, but now it just taste like junk. "How can humans eat this junk?" He muttered lowly to her, Jewel smiled "first off cheesballs sucked their cheep and just cheese and full of artifical flavor..., second of all dont eat that stuff, i dont want yucky breath if we kiss later." she spoke lowly for him to hear
Jewel smiled hearing alec "Care to dance, my love?" Jewel smiled "only if it's with you my love" she spoke back softly holding his hand.

Aro smiled and watched as the party started to kick off, and to see Edward here made Aro wonder if he is beginning to learn just what he is and the power he now holds. Many of the guests had started to dance and the music was blasting out around the manor, Aro did not like this kind of music but it was what the humans liked so he decided to let them have their carefree moment no dout someone would end up getting bitten or something, but it would not be the Volturi that broke the night everyone knows what would happen if they did.
He smiled as he saw his lovely Wife glide towards the throne in her white outfit, which reminded him of when he spoke to romes leader back in the old days, he leaned up and kissed her on the lips and pulled her down so she was sitting on his lap, and rested his head on her, he then spoke saying. “Look at our daughter my love she and Alec make a good item, but i fear that they both may forgot their duties as members of the guard, and that could end in a bad way.

"Ready when you are, love." Edward nodded simply answering that question quietly as he pulled the keys out of his ignition and put them in his pocket...."Creepy..." "I like it." "We are all good dear. No pressure." "We can even go if you really want."
"They expect me to be here....I'm not gonna win this fight..." He wanted so badly to be any where but here. And he could hear it in her thoughts that she was sad for him. But this was just some thing he would have own up to and be a man about. He was not expecting to see any other Cullens. Though he knew they might've gotten invited as well...
Edward finally got out of the car and walked over to her car door and let her out by letting her reach her hand out and take his...As she was now completely out of the car, he gave the keys to the valet guy and they both walked in the grand ball room....Edward was hanging on to Brooke's arm as they both walked in....He sighed. Just as it was last time he went to one. But on a smaller scale here at the mansion. He kissed Brooke lightly as he leaned in quietly to her ear...."Don't worry my love...We have our own blood safely in the trunk of my car...." He reminded her lowly. As some of the Volturi members glazed their eyes over at Edward, they had that, who is his date?, look in their eyes.....Edward just simply ignored it...He was not leaving until he saw Aro....When Aro saw he was here then he knew he could leave the main ball room with Brooke if he wanted....And that's all he wanted!

Brooke was silent as she walked with Edward into the main hall. She felt a little weird when eyes were on them as they entered, not that she wasn't used to looking, just not confused looking. "Why are we being stared at, dear?" She asked him in a whisper. She had no idea why these looks would be happening, they we a young couple, what else was surprising. But Brooke was an intelligent person, she figured it out and quick too. "Ooooh..." she mouthed to herself, "Nevermind then..."
People must have wondered who she was and why she was with Edward, the supposedly brooding, depressed vampire still lost over losing his human girlfriend to a mutt and then joined the Volturi just to let her be. No one here knew that Edward had since met another girl, one that was intoxicated simply by his touch. No one knew Edward had proposed. No one knew Edward was sleeping with the girl he had brought. Brooke couldnt stop a small grin from crossing her lips.
"I ate before we came, didn't want to get too hungry." Brooke told him softly. Her golden eyes sparkled slightly, her eyes forever untainted from drinking human blood were a bright topaz color.

The bitterness inside IS GROWING LIKE THE NEW BORN - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Riley stroked the cloth, eyes wary. It wasn’t his, technically speaking. The cloth was brand new, the needle having punctured it for the first time only days ago. The cloth may have been, but the pattern certainly wasn’t. He’d asked the seamstress to make this, exactly, by hand. She’d done an amazing job replicating it. It was almost identical to the one in his memory. He remembered seeing this outfit in that movie Will in Love; secretly one of Riley’s favorite movies of all time.
Riley groaned, pulling the black silk over his head, letting it slip into place, the silver embroidery winking along the hem and his sleeves. It hung loose over the black hose beneath, also made by the wondrous seamstress who was now a very dead woman. He picked up the thick silver-encrusted belt, the long sword hanging from it easily. Nimble fingers slipped the belt on without even looking, bright scarlet red eyes instead staring at the mirror, in which a man familiar, yet forgotten, stared back. Brown-blonde hair fell across his face, striking against the black, even as he pulled the cloak on over his broad shoulders. The cloak was different from the tunic and hosiery; it was actually his. It hung only a few inches above the floor, smelling of mothballs, seasalt, and times long gone.
Riley slipped his feet into the knee-high boots, it found those boots at thieve shop. The heels were worn and the dark leather was creased in places. He shifted slightly and once again Riley Alexander Mason look stunning, one hand resting lightly on the hilt of the sword. Riley shuddered, dropping his hand and running the sink so he could splash his face, the water bringing him back to the modern reality of running water and Victoria leaving him without a trace. "I don't want to go." He thought to himself. He dried off his face quickly, recalling the memory that Victoria might show up at this party. If there was any chance Riley could see Victoria, he was going to seize the opportunity."Although, it really amusing to see how the Volturi party." Riley just sighed into the towel. “Victoria, you better be there.” He murmured, a few strands of his hair sticking to his forehead. He stepped out of the bathroom, flicking the lights off as he did so. Tonight, Riley was going to crash the Volturi’s ball in Ports.
Riley didn’t plan to leave his newborns unattended. Of course, Riley left someone in charge while he was away. If the humans and Volturi thought the newborns were out of control now. Well they had another thing coming. Riley’s newborns would have been destroy this whole city already. The city would have been covered in dark red and looking something out of Nightmare on Elm Street with a twist of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Riley put on his black mask and was ready to go. And if you still haven’t figure out Riley’s costume dear reader, he’s a masked musketeer. Few hours later, Riley easily made it into Volturi’s manor without the guards noticed. It was a piece of cake really. Riley just waltz right through the walls and – viola – he bends in with the guests.
A slight curl came to Riley’s lip, which everyone knew it to be taken as his smile. Not often did he let his eyes light up or his face have much expression unless it was out of anger. Gracefully taking a hand of random lady in his, Riley whisked her over to the center of the ballroom. Dancing was the only thing he did at human like speed, there was such an art to it that moving too quickly spoiled the beauty of the movements. Riley began by leading the lady in a waltz. He moved like he floated across the floor taking step without any form of effort. She moved just as graceful has he did, himself. Riley continued to lead his dance parter across the dance floor spinning and using up all the space as possible. There was no need to dance on one spot when all eyes were on them. Riley kept all his senses sharp, trying to pick up any scent from Victoria. So far he got nothing, nada, zip. He was putting everything on the line – like his life – just being here. He hopes Victoria didn’t fail to make her appearance…or else. In the meantime, he continue to dance playing the role of a honorable guest. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - TAG !? volturi and party guests WORDS !? 777 MUSE !? muse - new born NOTES !? anyone female can be riley's dance parter. psst, riley's 1st posted <3

"Why are we being stared at, dear?" "Ooooh..." "Never mind then..." "I ate before we came, didn't want to get too hungry."
Edward stayed still like a statue by Brooke's side. But he did for a moment move his lips over to her cheek that was closest to him without twisting his head that much and smiling as he flirted with her. He was actually having a little bit of fun. How could he not? When he was here with the most beautiful person in the world? Yet some members might if Edward conned her to be his date for a one night stand. Yes Edward read that in some of the minds near him....Did they not all know that he could do that?
It did take Edward a long time to get used to crowds this big. But with Brooke here he was alright. Some idiot came by and flashed a camera at him and Brooke......The place was indeed lively tonight....No doubt. About that moment, Edward looked over to see more coming in.....He wanted to leave so badly it was hurting him. He did not see any of the other Cullens yet...And that disappointed him..."Would you like to dance my lady?" He asked as he moved in front of Brooke and extended his palm out for her fingers to wrap around.....And gave her a very handsomely smile that he knew she could not resist...
