Student & Teacher [Jewel & Olivia]

Jewel sighed as she leaned against the wall she was bored and wanted to find something to do, she was meant to be at class now with Olivia teaching her more about how to fight & be a proper vampire, but she did not feel like listening to boring lectures. Jewel looked up and stood up straight as she saw two guards "Lady jewel it is time for your lesson." The immortal teenager frowned "I don't want to" the guard moved towards jewel and the girl stepped back.

She watched the guards and out of thin air two clones appeared in front of her she smiled "Well good luck girls" she spoke to her clones and bolted down the hallway a few moments later Images popped into Jewel's head of the guards punching her clones and destroying them as Jewel stood in the hallway on the bottom floor she created five clones this time and waited for the guards as soon as they saw her she and her clones ran in five different directions. The teenager ran outside and saw four guards now "so you're back up huh" she spoke with a smile. Within seconds jewel found her five clones that ran off getting wrecked by different guards. [how is it they are so prepared for me] She thought to herself.

Jewel gulped she was all alone with her clones gone and eventually the five guards that destroyed her clones along with the origonal two who were after her joined the in she was greatly outnumbered. "Honestly is this all you have...Fine it's my turn" she spoke she crouched down and all around her in a circle came clone after clone she was hidden among her clones. Jewel made twenty clones and smiled as the guards seemed concerned "I like these odds" She spoke playfuly.

Jewel listened as one of the guards speak "If you don't stop Lady jewel we will tell you master." Jewel stood up at once "you wouldn't dare....aww Dad will lose it Fine I surrender" she pouted and in a puff of smoke the clones dispelled one after another until it was just jewel, the rest of the guards were mumbling as they walked away, they sounded disapointed. Jewel frowned as she was escorted to the back of the manor and sat on a bolder the two guards were still there making sure she would not flee.

[OLIVIA THORNE]

Their new house in Port Angeles was chaotic. There always seemed to never be enough room for the ever growing Volturi. Everyone was at the edge of their seats with these newborn attacks. Olivia never once thought that there would be another outbreak of newborn armies...especially one to this magnitude. Memories of Olivia's time with Maria and her coven flashed through her head like a screenplay. Everything still seemed all to real to her as if it had just happened yesterday. She learned alot from them, even Jasper. Because of them she knew the ins and outs of creating, training, and if needed destroying newborns. But at that time she was not as blood thirsty as she was today..no...she actually had a heart. She thought she had found a home, even if it was a dysfunctional one but she was sadly mistaken. Now it was Olivia's turn to teach what shes knows to Jewel. If the young vampire was going to survive, she needed to know how to take care of herself...even without her special power.

The sound of heels clicking against the marble floors could be heard throughout that section of the house. The house had high ceilings, making every single noise echo through the house. Today Olivia sported a pair of blue jeans that hugged her hips and legs tightly, a simple short sleeved shirt and a pair of black leather low heeled boots. If she was going to train Jewel today, she couldn't move around too much in one of her dresses. She often found modern clothing uncomfortable but she also wasn't going to ruin one of her many formal gowns. "If you don't stop Lady jewel we will tell you master." Olivia heard one of the male guards shout outside the large doors. They were already open, letting the fresh air in, even though she didn't need it it still felt cool on her skin. A smile crossed her face once she heard the second voice. "you wouldn't dare....aww Dad will lose it Fine I surrender" If she was going to give up that easy, then she wasn't sure if she should be teaching her at all. But her order's from Aro were clear, he wanted his daughter to know how to handle herself and it was Olivia's job to do it. Stepping out into the grass she stopped just a few feet away from her. The sun was beaming down on them, leaving a glare in her vision. "You know Jewel.....if you give up that easily during a fight....you won't be here to see another sunrise." she said with a smirk, placing her hands on her hips. She figured she would start the lesson off here, now was a better time than ever. Jewel needed to know to never surrender, never show her weaknesses, and to NEVER let your guard down. It had seemed though, that she had already failed the first test. "Just because you're scared your father will be angry with you, doesn't give you an excuse to give up. The first rule...never surrender. Like you just did now." her tone was serious as were her facial expressions. She hated to admit it but in a way....she was doing the job Jasper had done many years ago with Maria's newborns. Olivia never thought she would be instructing her own student, she wasn't the kind of person to hold a lot of patience. But she made a promise to Aro and she wasn't one to break her promises.

Jewel looked to see her teacher arive she looked beautiful even when in jeans, she listened as Olivia spoke "You know Jewel.....if you give up that easily during a fight....you won't be here to see another sunrise." Jewel had a smile on her face "I don't want to anger my father or my mother...besides I want to be a guard too...so i can make my parents proud...I have to have these lessons in order to do that I have to be here...So what are we going to study" Jewel spoke, she watched as the guards refused to leave and wondered if Aro ordered them to make sure she did not bail

Jewel looked at her teacher "I will do what ever I can to make my mother and father proud of me thats one of the most important things to me." Jewel spoke out waiting now to see what olivia would say and what sort of lessons she would give out. Jewel looked around thinking for a moment I wonder though...I tend to pick up things faster when I use my ability...maybe i should tell Olivia about it.....no way then she will have me doing lessons around the clock ans then i will never get time to watch Alec....he is sooo cute, it's a shame he likes olivia she thought to herself and pouted

Jewel was the type to make a game out of everything. Never taking anything serious, she sometimes made Olivia cringe her teeth, having to bite her tongue and bite it hard. Her ignorance was redundant, but that was to be expected from a teenage vampire. It had been too long for Olivia to remember what it felt like to be as innocent as she was, her anger and persistence had more or less became a part of who she was now. She had no remorse or guilt and never showed mercy. That was what kept Olivia alive all these years. But it was still Jewel's first year, her human blood still pumped through her slowly dying body. She still had those strong human like emotions, something Olivia had taken years to get rid of. Even though she was stronger than ever, she was still vulnerable to her weaknesses. But that was the whole point of Olivia joining the Volturi...to guide Jewel into becoming a powerful and controlled vampire. "I don't want to anger my father or my mother...besides I want to be a guard too...so i can make my parents proud...I have to have these lessons in order to do that I have to be here...So what are we going to study. I will do what ever I can to make my mother and father proud of me thats one of the most important things to me."

Olivia let out a sign as she folded her arms, she had hoped that today's lesson wouldn't be as bad as the ones the other guards were teaching her. They were careless and stupid to think that they could handle a young newborn vampire, they never had to command anything in their lives. But Olivia had, she knew the only way for them to learn is to learn the hard way. The girl was deep in thought and Olivia could quickly guess about what. She wasn't stupid...she noticed Jewels glances and smiles towards another fellow guard. Her obvious infatuation with Alec was known through out the whole house, Olivia just wondered if Jewel knew that. A smirk crossed her pink lips as she thought about her lesson plan. She had already failed the first test, now Olivia wanted to move on to the next one. ”You've been drifting off into your thoughts a lot lately. Thinking about anyone....in particular?” she said as she slowly took a few steps closer to the boulder she was sitting on. She knew Jewel would know what she was talking about, it was too obvious for her to miss. There was no reason for her to lie, Olivia could read her like a book, she knew almost everything about her. She had too...it was part of her job.

Jewel watched as Olivia let out a sigh and folded her arms she was only half paying attention as thoughts of Alec plagued her mind, she wanted so badly to be with Alec at this very moment, but still she did not want to crowd him or worse let anyone know how she felt for the guy, Oblivious to her that most of the guards already knew how she felt about Alec.

Jewel continued to watch Olivia as her mind continued to wander away imagining Alec by a pool and slowly taking off his shirt showing his perfect body. Jewel smiled in a goofy grin as her imagination with Alec only got better, she snapped back to reality when she heard Olivia speak ”You've been drifting off into your thoughts a lot lately. Thinking about anyone....in particular?” Jewel looked down sheepishly "um...no Olivia" she spoke softly.

Jewel looked back at her teacher and smiled "so what's today's lesson I am all pumped up and ready to show my stuff" she spoke with a smile, jewel was telling the truth more or less one of the reasons why she wanted to do her lessons were to improve and please her father, another reason was to get it over and done with so she could spy on Alec.

"Um...no Olivia"

[/i] She didn't like being lied to, especially when Olivia already knew the answer. She wasn't going to push it though, instead she actually did the right thing by not admitting it. Rule #2, never reveal your weaknesses. Although it was clear to Olivia that her face would say it all, but this was just a lesson. Jewel may not know it..but was improving, alot more than Olivia was telling her. She feared she would grow too confident too soon and one day make a bad decision because of it. "so what's today's lesson I am all pumped up and ready to show my stuff" Taking baby steps she walked around to a more open area not far from Jewel, never taking her eyes off of her. That was part of the next lesson, never let your guard down. Motioning Jewel to come over, she decided to see how quick of a learner she was. "The next lesson will see if you can handle yourself.....withOUT your powers. There are vampire's out there that can block you from using your powers. You will need to know how to fight without your 'girls' to help you." she said as she raised an eyebrow. She hoped she would pay attention, she might actually learn something. Olivia positioned herself in the standing position, planting her feet firmly on the ground she clenched her fists and gave Jewel a nod. The only things around were a couple of tree's surrounding them and the large rock that Jewel was using as a seat before sat to the far left of them all. The sun wasn't as bright on them under the tree's making it easier for them to concentrate without the constant glare in their eyes. Once Jewel was positioned in front of her a good distance away she let out a sign and continued "Now, I want you to come at me with full force. We will start off with that." she said as she readied herself.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

NOTES: Just think of Olivia as Jasper. Don't worry bout who is who during the Carlisle and Edward part, just pay attention to the fighting and you can guess where Jewel fits lol.^^ It's just easier to just show you then type it all. XD

Jewel frowned "what...no abilities, but you have years of experiance against me....you know what thats fine...I do my best work with a handicap"

Jewel stood up and looked at Olivia "Now, I want you to come at me with full force. We will start off with that." Jewel rushed towards her teacher full force only to be beaten down time and time again, her moves were direct and lacked suttlety Jewel banged her fist on the ground and got up, she had an idea

Jewel let out a hiss as she ran towards her teacher and crouched delivering a kick towards her teacher's chin to send her into the air, since clones were out she had to do something else.

The girl's attempts to bring her down were quite amusing to Olivia. She could see that the teenage vampire was getting frustrated with the constant blows she made only to be either blocked or dodged. Olivia was satisfied with the fact that she was trying her hardest, whether she was winning or not. But with a sudden miscalculation Jewel had gotten the upper hand. She watched as Jewel threw her fist to the ground and started to charge for her. The most she was expecting was a face punch or a kick in the shins to bring her down just as she had been teaching her, but instead she was taken by surprise. Before Olivia knew it Jewel lifted her leg and kicked her right in the chin, sending her flying through the air. She was shocked at the new approach but was still proud nevertheless. The newborn vampire had finally gotten in some damage, she was becoming a quick learner and more productive thinker. Before Olivia could hit the ground she regained control by twisting her body and landing on her hands and feet like a cat. By now this had become more than just a habit, but a second nature to her. After more than a century of fighting she had picked up on a few tricks. Now Olivia felt Jewel was ready to learn even harder techniques. As she walked towards Jewel slowly, her hips swayed side to side like a feline. Three guards quickly appeared behind Olivia walking with her at an even slower speed. "Good. Let's see if you can do something a bit harder." she said with a grin, complementing her attack. "Now I want you to watch me. Study my moves and theirs. You'll be doing the exact same when I'm done." she said as she turned her back to her, standing just a few feet away. The three guards walked up to her, Olivia stood perfectly still this time she was not going to fight like any vampire would, clenching her fists and baring her teeth like an animal. This skill was more than just an instinct..it was art form that took years to master for the average human, but to a vampire it could take as little as a few weeks.

Jewel frowned and watched her teacher she was beggining to feel frustrated with her, Jewel watched the guards as they came up and heard Olivia speak"Good. Let's see if you can do something a bit harder. Now I want you to watch me. Study my moves and theirs. You'll be doing the exact same when I'm done." Jewel nodded and thought to herself for a moment [Olivia said I couldn't use my clones to fight, but she never said I couldn't use my clones to help me learn] she thought to herself.

Jewel watched as Olivia turned her back and she made four clones that stood at herside she watched as her teacher Jewel watched specific parts while her clone watched other parts. Olivia finally things got set into motion as Olivia's savage ways came to an end. Jewel looked at her clones as they dispurst into smoke and she could see everything they had seen, the knowledge entered her mind and she smiled "ok I got it" she spoke calmly
