Hello, love! Though we really appreciate your excited and intelligent thinking on your part for the replacing of Edward in the Cullen clan, we sort of think it should be kept on hold for now. There is still a chance that this could happen, but it really would not be logical at the time. For one, there is the fact of the Cullen family and their feelings on Edward leaving them for the Volturi. Second, there is the fact that Edward has yet to actually join the Volturi. We are really excited to see that thread/event happen.. so let us not rush it!
It is more so likely that the Cullen family would be sad that Edward left, and because of their close attachment with Edward, they would not see it fit to replace him at all. Though they would welcome someone new to their family, I don't think it would be the right time.. Esme and Carlise would gladly accept someone, but as staff we feel it would be harder for them to let go in this instance. So let us give it some time and wait to the plot to unfold and then we shall let you know!
