It was ten in the morning and the sun is up yet the weather remained the same. Cool and fresh. There was not much sunlight in Forks as well as the nearby areas and mostly, it’s raining. It’s the perfect day for picnic, hiking or just simply a leisure walk. Since Carly will once again spend her day alone, she decided to spend in the beach packed with all sorts of food and camera and do a picnic herself. She brought with her, her favorite strawberry with chocolate dip, some lays, apple juice and bacon and cheese sandwich which she made herself and placed them all in a basket. The food she brought was good for four people in case there are people in the beach she know, at least she can join them without hesitation since she has something to contribute. Part of her was hoping that she would see him once again.
Carly wore her usual black jeans and gray flat boots and a white top and gray jacket. She scanned herself in front of the mirror and thought her color’s dull but who cares? She wasn’t there to do so modeling anyway. Her a little bit ragged look’s just fine. She bid the landlady goodbye and even gave her some of the strawberries. Carly aided by her car drove her way to the beach with her windows down and enjoyed the fresh air. She turned on her radio and listened to the news. The killing in Seattle’s getting worse. She then remembered her friend and thought of giving him a call later. She wants to make sure he’s fine and hoped that he is.
Just after fifteen minutes, the beach welcomed her with the sound of its waves. If she just knows how to swim, it would have been a perfect day to surf. But it was one thing she’s scared of and she does not have any plan to get on the ocean as long as she lives. Her drowning moment’s over and she’s fine in staying out of the ocean and just relish the view. Carly parked her car in the side walk and got off. She pulled out her camera and started taking some pictures. She wondered how cold the water is, freezing, chilly. Carly saw a group of boys doing a cliff diving. Something that looks terrifying and super fun. She took a picture of them as one started to jumped off the cliff.
Click! Click! Her camera keeps on capturing those life threatening act.

As the sun gazed into his window and rested its eyes on Jacob’s rather serene face, he tried to keep his dark eyes shut as tight as possible. Through the night he had wiggled around into the most comfortable spot in the middle of his tiny bed and continued to refuse waking. The night before had been the first night in almost a week he had fell into a nice, refreshing sleep. Forcing his body to roll over and face his door, he could feel the warm sun beating down on his back. Grumbling a little in a sleepy mumble, he stretched his arms out full span. Collapsing back into his bed a little, Jacob shook his head. “Need… to get… up…” Moaning to himself, he pulled himself out of bed to go stand beneath the warm water of a shower.
The bathroom had been filled with steam for only a moment before Jacob had finished waking up beneath the warm waterfall. Drying himself off and jumping into yet another set of casual clothes, he felt completely awake. His mind was seemingly clear, and his heart sat contently in his chest- all in one piece. His smile cracked up his cheeks as he recalled the dream from last night, but it all sank into its usual, dark place when he remembered it was just that- a dream. The remnants of their meeting earlier in the week only continued to play both sides- aiding in hurt as well as happiness.
His smile dimmed but was still present as he walked out of the house just after speaking with his father for a few brief moments. The designated members of the pack were most likely out patrolling, just as they were when he was not. A walk was needed, in order to either clear his mind or only make everything worse; Jacob was going to take his chances either way. Breathing in the natural, fresh air of the outdoor world, his lungs felt alive. He eased in to the walk along the dirt road, toward the beach.
The familiar scene of boys cliff diving comforted him and reminded him that he was at home. The only thing he needed now? Jacob needed Bella to be by his side. His mind began wandering, as it did so well these days, but was stopped immediately by the tiny snapping of a familiar girls’ camera. A light smile crept upon his face. “Pssst,” He jokingly hissed to her. “Getting any good shots?”

Carly wondered how many feet is it from the cliff to the water. Hundreds? Thousands? The smallest one in the group was the first one to jump. A perfect shot she had there. He was in diving position already and she got it seconds before his body hit the water surface. She’s not the swimming type at all but even if she is, it’s not likely she’ll go on a cliff diving in this weather. Well, maybe not in Forks, or in her case, not ever. It looked like they arguing not because they don’t want to do so instead, they’re arguing who should go next as everyone seems to ecstatic about it. Maybe, the feeling when your feet left the ground and waited for it to hit the water’s the same as when one rides in an overly sized roller coaster except that there’s no harness or whatever protection one should have. The second guy made a beautiful dive, like those in Olympics. They were a little far from where she’s standing but a good set of lens can do a lot of things.
Her tranquility was abruptly disturbed when she heard a hiss. She almost dropped her camera out of complete surprise. She chuckled, and luckily it was a chuckle and not a giggle, and sighed when a familiar figure suddenly appeared. He must have walked stealthily as she didn’t noticed him arrived. Nevertheless, she was happy he was there. Her little nature tripping became more interesting when he arrived. She was waiting and at the same wondering when she’ll see him again. Carly smiled at him and she tried so hard to keep it low. It was never her intention to be too obvious how charged up she was. ”Hhhmm. There are some pretty fair shots.” She quickly lifted her camera and took a shot of Jacob’s. ”There! I have the ‘picture of the day’. Don’t worry, your mouth’s close.” She gagged. ”Now we’re even. For startling me.” As always, her usual jolly and sometimes witty remarks.
Carly slowly walked towards her car and picked up her basket loaded with different types of goodies. The very little ray of sun touching her pale skin, Carly placed a blanket on the sand, laid the basket and waved to Jacob to come over. Right now, she’ll try not to think of anything or anyone. It’s not everyday that she’ll get the chance to spend the day with the guy who made her feel what it’s like to be in love. Right now, she’s not expecting to hear anything from him, or maybe she does and she just can’t admit it. But it’s best to get to know him first. What’s with Jacob that made her feel strongly connected with him? She pulled out the bacon and cheese sandwich that she made herself and handed one out to Jacob. ”No poison in there.” she stated. ”So, I met Bella Swan.” The words just came out. Why was it the first thing she thought of saying? She made it clear that she won’t be thinking of anything or anyone else and yet the name Bella still came out unexpectedly.
