The moon had not yet made it’s peak in the sky as Jeremiah Evans walked casually down the crowded streets of Seattle. His usual police uniform had been replaced with a well-fitting black shirt and jeans. Tonight, he was undercover. There had been a violent murder near the city’s sinful club, Déjà Vu and Jeremiah was placed on the call for investigation. The club was resuming normal activity, but he was to keep an eye out for any suspicious behavior near or around the area. Scanning the populated streets surrounding the club, he found nothing but a few drunken men and women preparing to buy a cheap room for a night of meaningless bliss. He held nothing against the couple, but he thought it was kind of vile and disrespectful. Granted, he liked his nights of bliss as much as anyone else…but he would always make sure the woman was sober and sure. Normally, he would have taken the male in under rape charges, but that wasn’t his main focus. Tonight, his goal was to try and find the killer.
The chaotic streets seemed harmless. Other than your typical drunk stature, there seemed to be no evidence of a crime. A low sigh escaped his throat as he fought through the crowd. When he finally reached the doors to the club, the men let him in VIP. Not because he was an officer, but because he was a regular at the club and was rather wealthy at the time being. His father had held a life insurance policy that was eight times his salary. Consequently, that was nearly seven hundred thousand dollars. Between that and his current job, Jeremiah had no worries for money.
As he stepped in the club, the energy immediately hit him. It sparked within him part of his lycan form, but he was used to the feeling and instead of suppressing it, he embraced it. His eyes traveled around the room, taking in the sensuous red lighting, the growing number of people, and of course, the exotic dancers on stage. It had been a while since he’d felt the warmth of a woman’s skin, but…tonight would be no exception. Business before pleasure; that was his saying. He headed to the bar, ordering an imported beer and leaning against the counter. His honey eyes darted around the room once more, looking for any violence or anything out of the ordinary. It was then that he saw what he was looking for. A fight had broken out between what smelled like a vampire and what seemed to be a human. Ignoring the beer that had been placed beside him, he stealthily made his way towards the fight.

Jessica was at the present moment on duty driving around the streets of Seattle learning the area so she could get a feel for her new job which was to try and solve the murders that have been happening over the last few days, they where unlike any murders that she had seen before it was almost like a wild animal was behind the killings chance would be a fine thing.
As she was driving along she receives a text message asking her to check out a murder at a local strip club, and that the police are already at the location, she was to head over and take change.
Her Black SUV began to drive down the street towards the strip club, going on how many police cars where dotted around the place she would have to carry on moving on foot at present she had change of clothes in the back of her car so she changes into them before getting out of the car and walking towards the area that the police have blocked off as she walked towards the road block she gets ready to pull out her ID to get her past the police at the road block she then arrives at the police and shows her pass and walks into the club.
As she walks in the smell of blood and booze can be smelled, it would not be a club without the sounds and smells of such. As she walks around a rather cute person catches her glance, chances are he was a cop, she then walks over and begins to look at the Corpse and how bloody it was and it was very bloody no way a human could of done this unless there some feek.

Jeremiah’s wolf paced anxiously inside him, teeth bore at the vampire who had murdered the innocent man. There really had been nothing he could do about it besides let it happen. To leap forth and tear the blood-sucking demon to shreds would risk exposing them all. For now, he just had to grit his teeth and deal with it. Of course, the club still had dozens of humans in it, all mortified at the murder that had just taken place. The police were slowly clearing them out one by one, tears suppressed behind many eyes. Even to those that didn’t know the man, it was still an upsetting scene …especially to know you were there and couldn’t stop it.
Muscles tensed, Jeremiah made his way towards the dead man’s body and he knelt down, examining the numerous gashes down the body. Being the only lycan on the force had its downsides. For instance, when you knew who was causing the murders but couldn’t say anything. Talk about torture beyond belief. In no time at all, several other detectives and coroner’s arrived. He stepped back, allowing the others through to examine what had happened. The dancer’s were still dancing, but their audience was dwindling down. The club hadn’t quite yet closed down and there were those that remained unknown to the murder. It would all end in good time though…whether they were ready for it to or not.
Allowing the other officials space, he moved back towards the bar, grabbing his beer and downing several needed gulps. His police badge remained hidden for the time being underneath his shirt. If anyone questioned his being there, he would surely show them…but he felt no need to draw attention to himself. Signaling the bartender to bring him another beer, he watched as several cops and FBI agents filed in…one of which rather caught his eye. He could feel his heart immediately begin to race upon her entrance into the club, and he kept a close eye on her…watching as she moved towards the body. From the badge she flashed, she looked to be FBI branch…though her attire would speak much differently. The shirt had slits in it that allowed for perfect teasing while the jeans added an almost classy touch. His wolf continued to pace anxiously, wanting to leap forth and demand attention but Jeremiah would not allow it. As a werewolf, he had gained control of his shifts, all except for that one cursed night when the moon was at its fullest.
Brushing the thoughts of his beast aside, he continued to watch the gathering crowd around the body, taking full gulps of his beer. He wasn’t sure what he could say about the case. He knew the truth, but to speak it would send the world into chaos. For now the vampire would get away, but Jeremiah had caught his scent which would allow for easy hunting later.
Though he realized he couldn’t offer much assistance to the group of officials, he returned to the body and knelt down once more. “I caught a glimpse of the killer…I’ll go after him tonight.” He spoke firmly, keeping his eyes on the man who no longer was. Though he didn’t know him, Jeremiah felt a pity for the poor guy. Then, as his thoughts raced, anger climbed in him for the vampire and he was forced to pull away from the group, his muscles tensing as blood ran hot. He heatedly made his way back to the bar and down the rest of his beer, hoping more than anything the soft alterations of alcohol would calm him. Meanwhile, his eye stayed focused on the victim and the woman in the torn shirt.

The Club, was alive with the sounds and movements of people filling out one by one, but this guy wouldn’t take his eyes of her is he the killer or was he just some cop that was looking to get laid, who knows but she should make the best of it after all if he’s a cop he could be of use to her in the days to come and the murders show no signs off stopping this was going to be a very long night and an ever longer case.
Jessica kneeled down beside the body and began to look at the marks and the way the flesh was torn; this fits with the others murders that have taken placeShe then stands up again and pulls out a phone and begins to type a number on the key pad, and puts it to her ear and begins to speak into the phone saying. “Sir it’s the same signs as the last few murders, this can’t be the work of a human, the way the cuts and flesh look out of place, maybe a beast of some kind but what’s your orders sir.
She waits for a moment as the person on the other end of the phone thinks of the next steps she should take in this case.“under stood sir” she then puts the phone back into her purse and walks towards the bar, the same one as the rather hansom looking man was, if she was here to find out about the murders, may as well start with him. “So tell me sweets, im guessing your cop but what are you doing here. FBI i have been called in to deal with this mess.
She then orders a drink from the bar tender that still seems to be working even if the police have asked them all to leave. Maybe he wants to get his pay check, after this incident there a good chance the place may never ever open its doors again that or it will take some time, the FBI have been called in to aid the local police seems they have the sheer lack of man power to look for the killers or killers.

The bartender was soon to bring him another beer, and Jeremiah nodded his head in thanks. He took another long gulp, and set it down on the bar beside him. His mind began delving into who could have caused this mess. Obviously it was the work of vampires, but…the only ones he could sense around were those that killed in silence…not a public bloodbath. His brow furrowed as he continued to think of who could be causing such a riot. The soft clank of heels brought him back to reality and she looked up to see the woman in the torn shirt approaching him. His eyes were a solemn blue as he raised his gaze to hers as she spoke of what he was doing there. A light smirk fell on his lips as he thought about how human and clueless she really was to all of this mess.
“FBI huh? Don’t you think you’re a little out of your way for a murder investigation?” The smirk remained as he took another sip of his beer. Usually the local police handled murders, but he knew this wasn’t just any murder. It was more a slight mocking of how important she thought she was because she was an FBI agent. “I’m here because I’m on this investigation. I’m the best they’ve got out here, and I’ve been assigned to finding the murderer.” His eyes subtly gazed down the woman’s body as she ordered a drink, the bartender nodding and moving away to make the drink. “Shouldn’t be too hard…” He finished as he leaned his elbows back against the counter. He once more gazed to the murder scene where flashes from cameras were going off and samples were being taken.
The humans were meddling in a world they didn’t know and he knew they wouldn’t find any answers. The DNA they thought they had would just be the DNA of the victim and the murders would continue until the vampire was brought to justice. This was the precise reason he joined the force. They humans needed guidance and assistance when things got bad with the shadowed world. That was where he came in. Between his acute lycan senses and his increased speed, he would have no problem tracking the killer and tearing him to shreds. The only problem would be if there was more than one. Then he would need a bit of help. Sure, he was a strong alpha…but he could only take on so many vampires by himself…especially if they were newborns.

Jessica listened as Jeremiah began to speak to her about how she was a little too important to be there, and it was true if she had the chance to pick she would of chosen a different assignment but she was told to deal with this one and she was never one to question the orders of her superiors, even if she didn’t like them. With that she stands up again and pulls out s small letter that was addressed to the supervisee of the local police.
Jeremiah would not like it due to it was an official order from homeland Security for her to take over the running of the show, which would mean Jeremiah would be taking orders from her and so would the other members of the police in this state.
“You know dear you not going to like what im about to give you but you should read it, and if you don’t like it feel free to take it up with your commander, im sure he will be able to tell you the truth” with that she hands a sealed letter to him seems he was the lead officer on this case.
The two were about to become very close even if none of liked the other. But they were both here to solve murders and time would soon tell if they became close friends or lovers, or worst Enemies, the thought amused Jessica to no end and no doubt he would be thinking the same thing.
“So tell me Mr Law man what do you make of the killings so far and the reason im here is homeland is afraid that this is out of your fields off expectance might be lacking and so im here to lead you there resources to help us solve the murders, if we don’t you and me could very well be looking for a new job, and I like my desk in my office.

The beer felt amazing as it slid down his throat…burning slightly at the sides from the carbonation that lingered. It was refreshing, and just what he needed to be dealing with these murders. Of course, the alcohol always took longer to settle in given the venom running through his veins, but he didn’t mind. In some ways, that was a good thing. It meant he could be undercover a lot easier and not lose focus. Though, now seemed to be one of those times when he wished he could wander from the orders. This woman was presenting a problem…one he couldn’t openly bring up against her. Her high and mighty attitude was getting old real quick, and he was becoming rather annoyed with her standing there. He couldn’t pin all the blame on her though. It wasn’t her fault she didn’t know about lycans and vampires. It was a secret well kept.
He inhaled deeply, taking the sealed letter, knowing he wasn’t going to like what was inside. Opening it, he quickly read what it said and put it down on the bar beside him. He was taking orders from her now. “This should be interesting…” He mumbled, knowing she could hear, but knowing she wouldn’t understand the true meaning of his words. An almost cocky smirk fell on his lips as he turned to her, listening to what she was saying about the two of them finding a new job if they didn’t solve it. If he was going to be under her command, he surely was going to have some fun with it. He wouldn’t sway to her orders quite yet. “Does the FBI always have you dress like that?” A smile remained on his lips as he took another long drink of her beer. It was a rhetorical question, but he meant it as no less than a compliment to her. Her outfit was stunning, and had she not become his newest annoyance, he might have offered to buy her a drink.
Knowing he couldn’t test her patience too much for fear of losing his job, he sighed and let his eyes run back towards the murder scene. “I make that whoever is behind this is quite clever. No DNA left behind, no traces of a weapon…” He knew there wasn’t much he could say without saying too much. “They know what they’re doing.” As much of a lie as it was, to the outside world, it seemed like the truth. Of course, from the same style of all the previous murders, he knew that it wasn’t just any vampires. It was newborns. Vampires don’t kill in such a public manner, but newborns will kill anywhere to quench their thirst for blood.
“And what do you make of all of this?” He asked, returning his gaze towards the woman as everyone began cleaning up the mess that had just happened. The body was being carried away and the blood was being chemically cleaned up. No sign would be left behind that a murder had just happened. It was amazing the power the government had…if only they would use it for good…
