The worst day of the week was easily Monday for Sean. Why? He had practically spent the last two and a half days with Oliver and had to be away from him for over seven hours, not sure if he was okay or not. It killed him inside not knowing. Sean woke up when his alarm went off, just loud enough for him to hear it, and so Oliver, on the other side of his bedroom in a crib, wouldn't have to wake up the same time as him; 5:30 am. Sean sighed as he tried turning off the alarm, and once he managed to silence it he dramatically pulled himself out of his bed and stretched. He scratched the back of his neck, attempting to get out an itch. Sean crept past the crib to get some clothes for him to change into after his shower. He tiptoed out of the room and gently closed it. Sean then walked into the bathroom, the whole house empty, and closed to door, and quickly took a shower. He hated being in the shower for more than about ten minutes, it was pointless to clean yourself when you're actually clean after the first ten minutes. Waste of water, waste of time. As he got out, he dried off with his towel and quickly changed into the clean clothes he had picked out; a gray shirt and some black basketball shorts; a typical match-up for the shifter. Sean then moved towards the kitchen, his stomach growling louder than a bear... or a wolf, more fittingly for him. He opened one of the cabinets to find Frosted Flakes, which is impossible to hate, right? He took out a large bowl and filled it all the way, which he always did. Sean always ate a lot. He then moved to the refrigerator, pulled out some milk, poured it, and returned it to its original location.
With a spoon in his hand, Sean walked over to the coffee table in the living room, to come across Daniel, who was awake earlier than usual. Sean said, "Hi-," but quickly cut himself off as Daniel looked down. He was still extremely uncomfortable with the fact that Sean was a shifter. Sean sighed, clearly upset, and sat down, beginning to eat his cereal. He turned the TV on, continuing the movie he started Friday morning before school, the Dark Knight. Sean was concerned that the Joker or the loud noise would spook Oliver, so he refused to watch it while Oliver was awake. After he finished his cereal, he stopped the DVD player and put his bowl and spoon in the sink, now getting ready to walk to school. His backpack always on him, there was only one thing missing; saying goodbye to Oliver. Probably the hardest part of the day for Sean. He walked back into his bedroom, and walked over a few steps to Oliver's crib. The baby was content, asleep, which made Sean smile. He leaned down and gave him a kiss on the forehead before whispering, "Love you, Oliver," finishing off with a smile. Sean once again slowly closed the bedroom door, followed by heading out of the front door. He walked off of his property and started his jog towards the school. It was only two blocks away, didn't take him a long time at all. The run was good for him anyways, he was considering doing track; which his whole family wanted him to do, since it would allow him to actually be around other people. When he arrived at the school, he looked at his cell phone which indicated he was about an hour early. Great, he was sure Oliver was awake by now and could've been spending time with him right now. He took a seat on one of the outside benches, being one of the only people there. Man, he hated always being early for school, nobody was there; not that it mattered, since he tried avoiding other people. Now, it was just about waiting for the first bell to ring. Sean sighed, and thought to himself, This is going to be a long hour...

WORDS: 694 TAG: Open, someone from La Push would seem the most practical, maybe a shifter who can smell the wet dog in him? Haha, just sayin'. But really, anyone's free to join in. =]

Daylon rolled out of bed with sleepy sigh. ~Ugh. Why can't I just stay home today?~ The simple answer to that question was that she had too many things that needed to be caught up on, because she'd missed so much school, due to pack dutys. Even if she tried to miss, which she kind of had the option, unless Adonis had a say in it. Daylon knew that he wouldn't let her just skip, even to be with him. This was the only thing she really hated about Adonis, but she loved everything else about him. ~I've missed you, baby.~ She said to her self as she touched the locket that Adonis had given her. As she sighed and shook her messy black curls from her face, her brown almost black eyes scanned the floor before she got up. As she made it to her closet, she stoped in the mirror and sighed. She had to admit that she was pretty, and she knew thats what everyone, including Adonis would tell her that. Finally, she was fully in her small closet, and chose her favorite blue A&F jacket with a white tanktop and a blue jean skirt with her blue Converse. Daylon also had to admit that her style was usually the same, and pretty simple. If she let Alice dress her up and be her Barbie doll, she knew her style wouldn't be like that, but she didn't like to be dressed up, and she liked her style. She got dressed, slipped on her shoes and brushed her teeth, and brushed her hair, sweeping it into a long curly ponytail. She sighed looking at her hair. By this afternoon, the muggy humid air of La Push will make it look like it hadn't been brushed in 2 weeks. As she came into the kitchen, she didn't eat anything. She just kissed her uncle Billy goodbye, told him she'd see him after she got home, and looked around for Jake slightly. ~Hmmm..He must not be here. Probably out with the guys. Lucky him.~ She sighed and picked up her back pack, and walked out the door. She'd walk to school. She'd done it before and it was kind of nice to walk to clear her head. She knew there was only an hour before it started, so she used her wolf speed, which would cut her time down alot. No humans were around right now, even though she could smell them. She smelled Adonis too, which hurt slightly. She knew his smell better than most humans, because she was around him so much. Without incident, she got to school. Daylon was happy about this. She walked across the grass of the front lawn of the high school. She saw the fellow La Push village people, and some of the pack, which really wasn't that typical unless they were made to go to school, or actually CHOSE to go to school. ~Why would anyone choose to go to school?~ She sighed and sat down on a bench, to preoccupied in her own thoughts to notice anyone sitting next to her. As he sat there in quiet, almost isolation, he went to look at the time now. Fifty-six minutes. Wait... it's only been four minutes since he checked? Sean expected school would almost be starting by now. He let out a sigh, before looking back up and noticing a girl right next to him. He jumped in shock, not at all sure when the girl got there. Sean didn't really know if greeting her or just walking away was the better decision, as he wasn't sure if the girl would want to talk, when he knew he didn't want to get social. It just wasn't a part of him, well, part of him anymore. The only people he talked to were some of his closer friends from his hometown of Portland, Oregon, and that was only texting for the most part. He mostly missed just his old life, before moving, before his father's death... before the transformation. Life actually was good back then. The only think that prevented Sean from going absolutely crazy and run away like he planned on doing, was the baby still at his home, Oliver. He would die for him, even if it was just in exchange he doesn't get a cut. Sean looked at the girl, who didn't even seem to notice him. He was surprised she didn't realize Sean whenever she went to sit down, but of course, he didn't realize her either. However, she smelled... distinct. Humans usually smelled oddly similar, but she just.. didn't smell correctly. Going through his mind, thinking that was weird and almost creepy, but it was true. It finally clicked in his head- pack member.
He was surprised it took so long to realize that, but once he noticed it, it was undeniable. The scent was too recognizable to be anything else, and their scenario was just too coincidental. Sean never really ever talked to another shifter, with the exception of his grandfather as a child, however he never knew about that until he moved to La Push. He was advised by his grandma to go talk to one of the pack members about joining the pack, but he knew that wasn't a good idea. Sean didn't necessarily like talking to people he didn't know all that well, or even wanted to use his shifting; it was very rare for him to be in wolf form, as he was almost always at school or home with Oliver. Besides, it would keep him away from the baby, and it hurt enough doing so for just school. It would call for being gone various days and nights, and that just wasn't something he was willing to do. However, his grandma also said that it was in his best interests to at least stay on their good side in case something happens and he needed help.. which he didn't quite understand. Nonetheless, she of all people knew what she was talking about. He sighed, knowing that he should probably just listen to his grandmother. Sean turned to the girl beside him, starting off the conversation with, "Erm.. hello." Not the most exciting introduction, but it was a start, speaking this is a generally self-isolated person. Sean cleared his throat, trying to make the pause he made a little less awkward and continued, "I... I didn't notice you sitting there. Sorry." He maintained eye contact but he didn't know it she would consider it staring; which he didn't want to happen. Even though he didn't notice it then, he hated the fact he refused to show any social skills he may or may not have had. Sean scratched the back of his head, looking down at the ground while waiting the girl's response.

Daylon looked once again down at her phone. Okay..So Adonis was probably busy. She couldn't blame him. Daylon quickly put her phone back in her pocket, and then heard somone speak to her. Daylon could be social, but only if she truly wanted to. She sighed when the person spoke to her. She couldn't be rude. It wasn't in her nature. It never was. She wonderd if she should talk to him, or just walk off. Daylon looked down in thought. She honestly wanted to try and make a friend. She looked up and smiled. "Umm, hey. Sorry I must not have seen you sitting there either." She fiddled with a strand of her hair, but was in no way flirting. She sighed a little. Should she tell him her name? It would be the friendliest way to start, and maybe, just maybe make a new friend. "My name is Daylon. Daylon Black. Yours?" She sensed he was a wolf, but not a pack wolf, which concerned her. She'd have to be very guarded in what she said to him. He could be dangerous, as he was offically in her mind now a lone wolf. Daylon didn't get any closer or any further from Sean. She stayed were she was and looked down. First impressions were what she really sucked at the most. "Sorry. I guess I'm a little shy. Don't mean to be." She just laughed and then thought to her self that she was an idiot, and she sounded like one, too. Day knew that if Adonis was were, she'd sound like more even more of a bigger idiot though. The truth though, in this case was that she was being cautious of Sean, because he was new and a lone wolf. "I know your probably new here, but see anyone you like so far?" She honestly didn't like him. Daylon Carter Black only had eyes for one boy, and to her he wasn't a boy. He was a man. His name was Adonis Littlewolf. She had loved him since she was 13 and now that she was sixteen, she still loved him strongly. In between talking Sean and watching her phone, she kept thinking of Adonis. He never left her mind, for one reason that everyone knew. She loved him, and she'd most likely imprinted on him. Daylon thought about Adonis every waking and sleeping minute. She even dreamed about him. As she snapped out of her thoughts though, her heart started aching, because she was thinking about Adonis again, instead of holding him in her arms. "Schools about to start. I am NOT looking forward to that."Word Count: 439 Outfit: HERE!

Sean continued to look down at the grass below him and the bench, not really sure what to say. It was awkward to talk to people, and knowing this girl was part of the pack didn't make it any less. He heard her say to him, "Umm, hey. Sorry I must not have seen you sitting there either." Sean nodded and gave a light smile. The girl continued not too much later, "My name is Daylon. Daylon Black. Yours?" He looked up and turned his head towards her. Sean cleared his throat before answering, "Uhm, hi Daylon.. I'm Sean Reese." He waved very quickly, his hand only inches away from his shoulder, before quickly aligning it parallel to his side. "A- uh- nice to meet you," finishing with another weak smile. Sean wanted to be polite, just because he was sort of weird around people didn't mean he had to be rude, right? Daylon said to him, "Sorry. I guess I'm a little shy. Don't mean to be." Sean smirked slightly, finding the shy comment a bit funny, considering he was much worse. "I think I'm worse, believe me."
Sean cleared his throat once more as he prepared to respond to whatever she'd ask or say to him next, but he wasn't prepared for such an odd question. "I know your probably new here, but see anyone you like so far?" He raised an eyebrow, and hesitated with his answer. Sean never even considered liking anybody. He didn't even really have any friends around, not that he had attempted to make any, or anything. Sean scratched the back of his neck while saying, "Uhm, yes, I'm definitely new to La Push. However, no, no girls I like right now," followed by a shrug. Daylon mentioned school, which caused him to sigh. He hated the very thought of school and not being with Oliver, responding, "Yeah, I'm not looking forward to it either.. I don't get as much time to spend with my little brother," despite saying that even he knew he played wiith Oliver almost every moment other than whenever at school or he was asleep. However, Sean still had one thing on his mind. Them both being shifters. He nervously stated, "Uhm, if you don't mind be bringing up.. erm.. you're a... uhm..." Sean didn't know how to get it out, it wasn't the easiest thing to just say. "A... shift....errrr...?" Nobody was around to hear it, thankfully. Hopefully she wouldn't get very defensive that an outsider was present, after all, a wolf's nature did pass on with the shifters, as his grandma said to him before.
