Yesterday’s encounter with the girl named Alina was epical and hilarious and somehow interesting for Embry. He’s not typically the conversational type when it comes to opposite sex especially when it’s new face but somehow, somewhere she made him feel interested. There was something unexplainable about the girl. The way she guarded herself, it was like she was so vulnerable and has no intention to let her guard down. Alina’s the type who wants others to see her as a fighter, or rather brat. The comical thing was it didn’t annoy him at all. Embry was dragging her in that annoyance to get to know her more.
One thing that annoyed Embry was school. After knowing what he really was and his purpose, he thought it would be best to cut school or better yet to stop permanently. There’s no relevance in school of what he’s meant to do for the rest of his life. For him, it’s a waste of time going there, reading book and listening to teachers who taught nothing about what he’s supposed to do as a shifter and as a protector. But since it’s a complete secret from his mother, he’s obliged to do so until he graduates.
He sighed as he settled himself in a rock under the tree as he waited for others to come out. Surely they all have the same view about the whole school thing but the good thing about them was that their guardians/parents knew about their real identity. Unlike him, Jacob, Quil and even Seth can talk their way out of school.
”I should be chasing vampires right now, instead I’m stuck here reading the tragic story of Romeo and Juliet.” He shuddered as he throw his book inside his bag.

Billy had left it up to Jake- this issue of school and whatnot. He said it was his choice, and he would not be one to force his son into anything. Jacob had phased over and had comfort in the pack. They were his family, just as his father and sisters were, and they could help him. Same could help him, as well as the rest of the pack. Jacob had responsibilities to them, and they were responsibilities of which could not be handled if he were to attend school once more. The pack could teach him more than high school ever could; they could teach him how to survive and protect, just as it all was in his blood. In all honesty, as rightful heir to the seat as alpha, Jacob did not need any one to teach him anything, but it was certainly better than sitting in a classroom all day while someone tried to preach to him on American history or on Algebra.
The morning had started off normally- he had come home from the previous night’s prowl and hopped into a refreshing shower. There was nothing for him to do past the point of dressing himself; the Quileute shifters had been switching off in shifts and it had rolled around to Sam and Quil. He had known Seth and Embry to be at school, and found that to be his best for activity in order to avoid complete, deep sleep and near depression… as usual.
The air was a bit lighter today, with a more enjoyable temperature and with less humidity than the usual Washington day. The sun easily sat in the sky with out fear of any rain clouds, which was rather unusual. He walked down the dirt road in order to enjoy the weather, with his hands in his pockets and barely any weight sitting on his shoulders. Jacob admired the scenery from his house until he arrived at the school just in time to see Embry finding a seat against a tree.
Sneaking up to the tree quietly, a smirk danced on his lips. He waited until Embry finished pouting and mumbling to himself before he sprang into action. “C’mon Embry.. ‘Romeo and Juliet’ isn’t that bad!” Hoping to catch him off guard, it was all in good fun of course. Jacob Black was in nearly rare form today. “What? Just because you don’t have a girl doesn’t mean you have to be jealous!”

Embry throw a rock heavily. It was a stupid idea to go to school. Besides there aren’t any girls that make him take a second look. Not that there aren’t any pretty ladies ‘cause they all are it’s probably because of the imprinting thing. He laughed at Jared and Quil who’re like head over heels in love now. Not to mention Quil, imprinting on a two year old but that’s totally better than taking out a cousin on prom. That was epic and Quil had to live his entire year being teased. He can’t understand why they’re all making such a fuss about having mate or imprinting. That triggered him ‘cause he’s one of those who doesn’t have one. Embry didn’t care before but the pack’s making it somehow an issue.
If he can only pick out a girl, decent looking, kind, simple and sweet, he would have probably done that. But Embry can’t see himself with on that description. He thought of someone active, sometimes fierce and sarcastic and maybe a cynic. That personality would be challenging. That would definitely catch his attention. He then wondered if imprinting really is like love at first sight or are there instances where it develops naturally, like a normal human attraction. It could be possible and it could probably be happening to him. Besides, it’s weird enough to imprint on a two year old how weird his idea could be.
He was taken aback by Jacob. His mind floats freely and irritatingly which gave Jacob some time to sneak and caught him whining about Romeo and Juliet. "Pfft. Jealous? Me? Look who’s talking Jacob." Jacob seems to be restless this past few days and that made him, all of them worried. He doesn’t have anything against Bella and he thought she’s a nice girl, perfect for Jacob, as a friend a best friend but the thing is Jacob wanted more than that."You up all night again? I didn’t mean about patrolling."

Daylon sighed and walked into the schools main front area, the Ipod which was a Christmas gift from her best friend and the boy she'd loved since thirteen, Adonis. She really hated coming to school, and she wished her uncle Billy had let her stay at home. She'd pleaded with him, but it didn't work. Here she was, sleepy eyed, black haired and brown eyed, trudging in to the schools main courtyard in a yellow jacket with a black tank top underneath with black shorts. Her yellow Converse were slightly wet because the grass she was standing on was still wet from the last rain. She checked her phone quickly before putting it back into her pocket and sighing. She wished that Adonis had at least texted or called. She saw her cousin Jacob Black who she'd shared a house with since she was a baby, and fellow pack-mate, Embry Call. She sweeped her hair up into a black messy, curly ponytail before walking over them. "Good morning.." She said with a yawn. Her tone was more along the lines of: 'Leave me alone until I've eaten breakfast unless you want to be in an arm sling.' She sighed and leaned against the tree next to her cousin and fiddled with a diamond stud in her ear. Why did she even have them? She'd have to always buy new ones because she had to lose them when she phased. She wasn't very happy this morning, and she knew the guys could see it. She hadn't seen Adonis for two days now, and it was ticking her off. She loved him so much and she hated to be away from him. "Hmm..Whats this I hear. Embry=No girl? Don't worry you'll find someone man." She tried to reassure him. Daylon her self, knew that there was only one boy for her, and she would fight for him until she had him. She wouldn't ever dare to give up on Adonis. She looked at them both and sighed again. Yeah..she knew she wasn't helping, and should she really be talking? She knew her whole situation with Adonis, and she also knew that Jake and Embry, plus the others in the pack all knew about it, but that didn't stop her from at least wanting to try and help. Yes, she hadn't been able to tell her feelings to Adonis yet, but, she was sure that if she'd imprinted on him, which she knew she probalby already had, it shouldn't be that hard, but it was. Maybe she just didn't think it was the right time. Daylon shook all these thoughts off and looked down. "Sorry if I'm not helping. I know I'm probably not." Daylon sighed and checked her phone again, knowing it was useless though as she put it back up. Word Count: 467 Outfit: HERE!
