School, how she hated coming here every single day, it was bad enough that her that her step father was around and bossing her left and right to do things. She sighed as she kept on walking, would things get better in time or was everything still going to be like this? She hated not having her parents and coming back to Forks was a hard choice for her adopted father, Daniel. She knew he didn't want to come back but being a doctor that had lots of money and spoiled her to death wasn't a choice, her adopted father figured it was better to come back to Forks and help this other doctor by the name of Cullen. He just didn't understand how life was for Annabelle especially when she just came back after they had moved two years ago to get away from people and stay hidden and to focus on her powers. She had two powers of what she had known, they weren't that strong like she had read in the books. She just can move objects when she looked at them and she could read minds here and there. She knew in time that her abilities would grow. She had even went to a witchcraft store and bought a few things and experimented with potions and some of them worked and she was pretty good at nailing them.
Magic was a whole different thing and she thought it was interesting, she discovered that all she had was her gift, her spell casting, and her potions. She knew it wouldn't be hard to keep doing them she just knew she had to keep at it and she knew with time it would get easier and easier. She was driving her small truck, Daniel had given her a cute little car, but her father gave her the truck before he died and she was driving it everywhere, a lot of people thought it wasn't as good looking at her car, but she liked the truck more, she felt secure. As she parked her car she noticed she was one of the first students there and she sighed deeply and parked it. She picked up her backpack and slide out of the car.
Slowly she got out and locked her car after she got out. She placed her jansport book bag over her shoulder, it wasn't heavy at all. She was dressed in a long black sleeve shirt that revealed cleavage, and long skinny jeans with a pair of short cut converse. She felt like dressing something simpler, as for her hair, she ironed it straight, she wasn't wearing any jewelry today except for her mothers sliver locket around her neck. She kept on walking and she noticed a few eyes on her. She had returned to Forks now in her senior year and she had always caught the attention of boys here and there. She looked away and walked towards the cafeteria to get some breakfast, she knew she was hungry, she walked inside and got her breakfast than slowly made her way and sat down. None of her friends were here yet and she knew she would have to wait a while, popularity had its thing.

Surviving one week in new school, not getting into any trouble and made few friends was a sure hit record breaker. It’s not being bitter about her childhood experience, it was proving not every school’s the same. That there was nothing wrong with her back then. Those students just picked her randomly, that’s why. So far Fork’s has been the best place she’d ever been. In terms of school, people and weather. Another was the joy of living on her own. She loves her Aunt Meg. She’s just restricting Carly too much. Much more than how Carly’s parents treated her. She completely understand her, though. The tragedy’s painful for her Aunt as much as it is to her. It was like losing a brother and sister, so she can’t afford to lose a daughter-like. Good thing she was fully amenable with her reason why she wanted to live on her own in Forks. She, however, promised not to go hiking which she broke so quickly, just after a week since she arrived in Forks.
Carly prepared herself for the week and did some advance reading. She doesn’t want to be embarrassed just in case one of the teachers decides to go on a surprise recitation or quiz. She wanted to be prepared. It was a good thing she loves reading. Other people find it boring but she finds peace when doing so. As usual she came in early. Being a new student, it wouldn’t look so good to be fashionably late. She does that in her old school, just to stay away in trouble early in the morning or get mobbed by evil cheerleaders. Carly does not understand why they even pay attention with her existence. But things are gladly different in her new school. The Lauren girl was somehow like one of those evil cheerleaders, only less evil. Probably out of insecurity though Carly found no reason for her to be insecure. She’s somehow pretty and obviously popular.
She reached for her back pack in the backseat and killed the roaring of her 1996 car. She got off her ride and decided to head off the cafeteria instead of staying in the parking lot or in the bench. Breakfast was one thing she does alone recently, maybe she’ll be lucky enough to see someone familiar and join in for breakfast. Carly sighed as she spotted no one familiar. There was hardly any students in the cafeteria. She walked towards the counter and ordered some orange juice and a bacon and cheeseburger. She scanned the place once more and saw a long haired brunette sitting on her own. Introducing herself to her might not be so bad. Of course, she hoped she won’t be kicked away. Biting her lips, she trailed down where she was seated and cleared her throat before saying. ”Hi. Is this seat taken? Do you mind if I join you?” she looked at her and she was astonished with how finesse she looks. She was like a model and really tall. Unfortunately, Carly got her mother’s not so tall height.

Annabelle was very pretty but she didn't get her looks from her father, she got her looks from her mother as always the girls always look like there mother and not much like there father but that was the case for her. She couldn't help that she got her looks from her mother and even though she wished she could change a few things around here and there, she knew it wouldn't make her feel any better because her mother's spirit is still with her. As she sat there she looked down at the plate of food, absentmindedly she had just picked up the milk carton and flicked the tab open then placed the straw in it. She looked at it and she sighed, chocolate milk was always a good tasting thing that she liked to drink so why wasn't this drink appealing to her at the moment? She didn't understand, she guessed she just wasn't in the mood right now and she wouldn't blame herself for it, she had been having dreams lately that were just bothering her day in and day out. Daniel, her step father, never seemed to have noticed it but she would find herself screaming in the middle of the night.
As she looked down at both the lockets around her neck, one was her mothers and the other was from her former lover, she noticed that they both seemed so wonderfully matched together and that it seemed like she just felt memorized by it because of how old and beautiful both of the pieces were. her mothers locket was a little shorter than the sliver string to the other locket, her mother's locket was gold and the other was silver. She looked down and noticed the star twinkling at her, it was always a pretty gold star to her. The other locket was silver and more round and it would open, problem was it wouldn't open no matter how hard she had tried. She knew one day she would get the bloody thing open. It was just a matter of time before she could. The sliver locket was something she always wore no matter what and she knew that she would always wear it, it was the last piece of memory that she had of Eric and she didn't want to lose the memory. Even though in the magical world of the supernatural she was known to be dead and missing for about two years, she knew it was time to return home and she had gotten stronger with her magic. She had now two abilities from her psychic power and she could feel herself grow stronger every day and she wasn't ashamed of it, she always used her power for good, even if she used black magic at times.
She then heard a voice and she turned around to look at the girl. She smiled at her as she spoke, it wasn't some fake smile like the other popular girls would pull when they didn't notice someone in there circle of followers, it was an actual smile that was coming from Annabelle's lips. She wasn't like the other popular girls, she was actually nice to people that were outside of there circle and she knew that her friends wouldn't have liked this girl already just because they wanted to sit at this table, sometimes, Annabelle though these rules were stupid and she never follow them, she could tell that the girl was new here and it didn't bother her in the slightest, Annabelle was happy that she could meet someone new for once, it was refreshing. Annabelle turned away but then she pulled the chair out and pat the seat telling the girl she could come and sit here, it was early morning and she thought it wouldn't be a bad idea. She knew her friends would have been boiling if she had done that, luckily she was just herself and this girl.
"Sure, you can! I'm Annabelle by the way, nice to meet someone thats not in the social circle, it gets boring!"[/b]
With that, she added a heart warming smile as she looked at the girl, hopefully she could leave on good terms with someone knew that she hasn't known when she was younger. She placed her book bag in the other chair and took out a book about herbs and healing, something that looked like a spell book for herbs but it wasn't, she liked reading about natural herbs and such. She found it helping with her own potions and healing thing.

It was not like she had never been part of the popular circle before, but the thing that’s not good about most of them was that slowly most of them tend to go dark side. Usually, it starts with a little ‘do this term paper, please’ to the smart kids in class, the nerds or the new ones who wants to make it in the circle. After that, they’ll be invited to go to one exclusive part, get drunk and will put someone on a dare. If the mean girls think it’s not enough or the girl’s not pretty enough, they would still give them the privilege to be their servants. Carry their heavy books, Prada bags and from time to time wipe their Jimmy Choos. Those are just the basics.
If one gets rejected to be officially part of the circle and she turned down the offer to be their servants, the worse comes. They’ll be bullied for the rest of their life, as long as the mean girls want it to. Carly didn’t really gets to be a servant but she has been part of the list of unfortunates who will be bullied, as she defended a new girl and embarrassed the mean girls in front of the whole school. She had been the legend for doing so but still mean girls won’t end without a payback. It was a good thing she’s got a knight in shining armor so she’s not exactly alone.
The mean girls in Forks seem to be a little more discreet. They weren’t completely ‘she’s all that’ attitude. Carly isn’t that familiar with students yet but she’s positive that Annabelle’s one of those popular girls in Forks. She took a seat she offered her and settled herself and the food. Annabelle seems like a nice person, accommodating for that matter and friendly. ”Carly Reid. New in Forks and in school. Nice to meet you, too.” She looked at the books she’s carrying and too bad she’s probably a year higher.
