Leah was bored. Bored and bitter never did mix well.
So why she had chosen wondering aimlessly through the woods and found her feet taking her toward the direction of the cliffs, Leah did not know. She hated cliff diving. The sensation of falling only to hit the water did not scare her, no, but it did not appeal to her. She was not all for pack bonding, exactly. Especially when it was something as stupid as that. People could die from it. More than likely she would not, but still. Her brother might go off and be stupid and do something like that.
Granted Leah was a lot more bitter since Seth had become a wolf, a lot more though was still managing to be much of an understatement. The fact that she was so overprotective of her baby brother made her not want him to be a wolf, even though in the sight of things she was the one who was surely supposed to not be a wolf. She didn't want to be one either, being the only girl in a pack of (mostly) guys was no ideal position for her, especially having to be inside all of their heads and see how they looked at other girls. Especially Sam. Then again, she wasn't exactly all rainbows and sunshine.
Speaking of sunshine, it was actually there. It was one of those rare, sunny days in La Push. The cliff probably had a magnificent sun spot, perfect for tanning. Not that she needed it. Her short hair blew slightly in the strong wind, which pretty much ruined the whole sunny day idea. Not that she even cared, it was all the same to her. She stood among the trees of the highest cliff, one that normal citizens though they were crazy for jumping off again. Then again, they did not exactly know they were all shape shifters.

Jessica, the young and very attractive FBI agent was still learning her way around La Push, many rumours had reached her ears around this area, but one about a cliff that was said to be someplace off great value to the locals who live here, some say your wishes come true if you jump off others say you die and go to heaven. Jess has sent many people to what she considers heaven, which happens to be a state prison in this case but she was off duty so she decided to change and go visit this so called cliff, she had bought a map from the nearby village, which marked the location.
As she began to make her way towards the cliff, climbing up what looks like a hill, it was further up then she heard, but she never was one to give up so she carried on climbing and climbing to see reached the highest point of the cliff, little did she know that there would be someone there, maybe she was there to keep watch or maybe she lived there, in La Push nothing is ever as it seems she has yet to find out how right she is about just what the locals hide deep within their very bodies.
She catches the glimpse of a young girl who looked like she was thinking or planning something so she takes a moment to catch her breath before looking to the girl and saying. “The rumours where right about this place how high are we, this is like standing on the clouds. Where I come from we don’t have anything close to this, it’s almost unreal sorry if broke your chain of Thought im just learning my way around and i wanted to check this spot out.

Leah had been able to hear the human coming up for a minute or so before she was actually within sight, that a was just a wolf thing, enhanced senses. Which was exactly how she knew it was a human (luckily) and not anyone from the pack, which was pleasing. So in other words she was just glad that it wasn't Paul. Anyone was better than him, that was something she was confident. He pushed her buttons and she wasn't one of the older shifters and she often ended up snapping at him, not that she exactly minded but typically others seemed to. Damn shame to, she would have loved to put him in his place.
As the older woman spoke Leah decided to stand up, she could tell the girl wasn't a local for two different reasons. One being everyone knew everyone in La Push and she did not know this white chick, and two it was an Indian reservation and she was clearly not an Indian like the rest them where. But then again, not everyone was who they thought they were. After all, she was the only girl in La Push lucky enough to have the tattoo on her arm, that only the wolf pack understood what it meant. Yeah, everyone was a lot different from who they said they were.
"Figures you don't, it's obvious enough you're not from here." Leah did not care who this chick was and couldn't care less, she was still going to bitch her even if she didn't know her. She was not the ideal conversationalist. "Most people like you don't come up this high, but I suppose you wouldn't know that. You probably don't want to jump from here, not many do. Most break their neck." She was very blunt about it but it was true. She had jumped from it (mostly been thrown/pushed off of course) and she wasn't scared or anything, it was just true. That and cliff diving wasn't necessarily safe to do alone and no one else other than the pack wanted to jump off this height - it was considered insane by locals. Oh well, screw them.

This girl was right, a little to right Jess was indeed not from here but she had sky dived before so jumping of this would be a piece of cake, she was not about to let this be known encase she wanted to try and test her little theory in her head, her first impressions of this girl is a stuck up high demanding young lady, but she was trying to be nice so the least Jess could do is try to return the Favour, she then sits down with her legs hanging over the side and speaks not looking at the girl saying.
“You are right, im not from here im from a state far away and its much warmer then it is here, but I can’t complain least im getting to see the sights, my job can sometimes be boring but at the same time I get to meet a lot of people like yourself.
I would love to learn more about you and your people; I have moved here to help solve a crime wave that could spread to this very state, and villages, and im not about to let somewhere as peaceful as this be turned into a crime rate area.
She then looks back over the cliff out towards the sea, thinking of back home where she used to stare at the starts and the moon at night, today was very sunny day, even if it was a little chilly but jess was going to learn all she can about this women and the people that have died and lived on this very land.

The warmer than here did not surprise her, Leah knew Washington state was not among the warmest of places in the continental US, and the fact that she lived one of the wettest parts of the country certainly did not help either. Days like this were still chilly too a human, though being a werewolf she always ran at 108.9 degrees and had nothing to worry about. Though, that was clearly show with her short jean shorts, tank tops, and the lack of foot wear. That was also from the fact that she had not long ago shifted back to her natural form and after walking aimlessly around La Push for a while decided to just not care where her feet were taking her and left her body lead her mind.
Your people, Leah knew that had to be major bull shit. Of course La Push was a fairly popular tourist sight with the colorful history from it that started with Q'wati as many Indian tribes had according to legend. Most people thought it was just stories, but she of course knew better. At that comment she shook her head to herself, faintly amused and turned, her tattooed arm facing the older woman's back. She thought about just sprinting off into the woods and leaving the woman behind briefly, but something told her otherwise. For now she was listening to the instinct that told her to stay, but who knew whenever she'd change her mind and leave her be.
The crime rate grabbed Leah's attention slightly. "Who the hell do you work for?" She asked bluntly. But if people were being sent out for that it was not a good thing, she only knew about it at first from her pack member's minds but did a little research. They had discussed it as a pack too and it honestly sounded like vampires. She knew if their secret got out it was a matter of time before shape-shifters and everyone else was realized, that was not good. "Meet a lot of people like myself? What are you talking about?" Leah considered herself one of a kind, but her words now had a sharper edge on it. "La Push is pretty damn well protected, I have a feeling not a lot is going to get through here."

Jessica watched as the expression of the girl changed when she spoke about the crime rate. Did she know something about the murders or was she part of them, the game of cat and mouse was about to begin after allowing the girl to finish her sentence she looks to her and speaks saying.
“Who I work for his none of your Concern at this moment in time, im just here to watch and keep a record of what goes on in this state, after all it feels as if someone got something to hide but I can’t quite put my finger on it yet. Do you have anything you want to confess, I know you know about the murders that have been going on around Seattle.
Jessica was not trying to scare the girl but maybe just let her know that the Government have an interest in this state, and the murders where only a cover up to a much larger plan, that would soon start and could change the fate of this world in many amusing ways.
“So tell me may I enquire to your name, and don’t take offence to people like you bit, I mean nothing by it unless you have something to add to it to make me change my mind, you can call me Jess or Jessie, if you wish but the view from here still something to admire about tell me do you have any pets I myself have one dog and she is quite the charmer.

None of her concern? That was honestly a load of crap, but then again she couldn't know that. Leah couldn't exactly inform her on how more than likely it was some type of supposedly mythological creature attacking Seattle and how really only another type of creature like a shape-shifter or some sort could stop it. Not that she wanted to to say the least - she literally couldn't because of alpha orders. Then again their secret getting out was on top of their worries, other than destroying all vampires that got through La Push boundaries. That was just daily stuff right there.
"Everyone has secrets. And everyone wants them to stay that way, don't expect a confession from every living soul." Perhaps Leah was being rude to the white chick but she didn't care, it was how she was. Compassionless was a key word in describing her, after Sam and turning into a wolf there was not much more to her. She was very uncomplicated compared to a normal teenage girl, aside the wolfette thing. "You aren't getting any confessions out of me, lady. I have a hell of a lot of things that I'd love to confess but they aren't relevant to Seattle, and that's probably all you care about, right? You're just some government lady?"
From the way she was speaking it came off to Leah that she was trying to sound smarter than she actually was, using 'fancy' words and not bothering with talking like a normal twenty-first century human being. "Leah." She answered simply, not bothering with formalities. At the comment about pets, more specifically a pet dog, it was hard to hold back her laughter. Jess, apparently, had no idea how ironic her words were and more than likely never would if all was well. "Pets? Yeah, I have a dog. His name is Seth," She lied smoothly, not blinking or fidgeting as she did so, she just continued drawing her tattoo onto the rock mindlessly.

KEISHA CATORI
QUILEUTE WOLF
``in a world gone wrong, can anything be right?

Post by KEISHA CATORI on Jul 19, 2010 0:33:42 GMT -5
`` Keisha moved slowly and easily through the forest and away from her house. She’d only been back home in La Push for a couple of days now and had yet to run into anything of interest. No wonder she and her brother had left. It was just so damn boring. No. That wasn’t’ really the reason. They had just needed change, that’s all. Change did people good. Luckily their wolf forms let them accomplish that. They’d gotten to see the world change. They’d been able to travel. Sure it meant giving up some things, but to Keisha, it was completely worth it. It sort of seemed to make her existence worth while in a way. But since there was nothing to do, Keisha had decided to revisit old memories. One of which led her up to the cliffs. And the only reason she’d decided to stay in her human form was to get reacquainted with it. For one thing, she absolutely hated it. It made her feel awkward and somewhat uncomfortable. Her wolf from was sleek, agile, and powerful. She liked the thought of that much better.
`` Her long legs carried her swiftly and easily over the uneven ground. A trait picked up and carried over from the wolf inside her. She moved through the underbrush almost noiselessly, creating nothing more than a rustle of the leaves as she passed them. As she drew further up the mountain she could smell the scent of another shifter. It was strong. Meaning recent. And it smelt somewhat familiar. Probably one of the local pack. Keisha’s lips drew in a tight line as she continued steadily and boldly. Pack or no pack, it didn’t matter. Keisha was a wanderer. A lone wolf with only her brother beside her. No one was changing that anytime soon. She also picked up another scent, the scent of a human as a matter of fact. This one unfamiliar and with a strange exotic sense. Not from Forks at all. This made Keisha move quicker. She knew of the killings in Seattle and wondered if this human had anything to do with that.
`` Reaching the edge of the forest, Keisha stayed fairly well hidden in the denser brush. Keisha knew the wolf-girl would sense her presence immediately if she hadn’t already. But for a moment Keisha prowled in the dark. Another wolf trait that had been carried over into her human form. The back of her mind wondered just how wolf like she still was even when she wasn’t on all four paws, but she wasn’t able to linger on that long. From where she was, she could hear the conversation as it panned out. And the shifter girl’s reaction to the human’s mention of the killing was almost exactly the same as Keisha’s. That definitely wasn’t good. The human’s job had sent her? Yeah. Red flag number one right there. Keisha paused a moment as the shifter spoke again before coming through the trees, training her icy eyes on the human woman. She was pretty. Much to pretty to be hiking up the side of a cliff just to see the sights. ”I don’t mean to be rude eavesdropping… but may I point out she’s right,”
Keisha said coolly to the human, Jess she had said her name was, and indicated the shifter in front of her. ”La Push is sacred ground, and is protected from outsiders in better ways then you would know.” God, did she sound like her father. He was the one she’d gotten the wolf blood from in the first place. `` Keisha liked the shifter, Leah she had said her name was. She was quick to think and blunt to boot. For one reason or another, Keisha found that a quality worth having. She looked between the two. ”Excuse me for my interruption. I just figured I would revisit a favorite place. I had no idea there would be such a crowd up here,” she said, crossing her bare arms over her chest and shooting another cool glance at Jess. She wasn’t going to speak her name. Not yet. She was more intended to find out why exactly Jess was here instead of in Seattle like she probably should have been. La Push, or even Forks for that matter, shouldn’t have been under direct fire. The best way to get in, was get out. ”Pardon again,” Keisha said, dipping her head slightly. It was a mannerism she’d picked up long ago. ”I’ll just…” she paused, indicating the forest behind her, hoping that Jess would pick up the bait. Jess now was a little out numbed; she did not know what the people where hiding, but it cannot be good, she was hopeing this would be peaceful visit but, it would seem that god decided to stick his nose in and throw a second girl in Jess was quite safe, even if something did happen after all she Works for FBI. So they can track her moments and as the group are speaking the faces off the others are being ran through the database if they had any dirty little hidden truths the database would send a copy to her phone. So she was not about to let herself be tricked if that was there plan. In addition, if jess did not report in or her life signs a group of people from her agency would consume La Push.
“Well I have to say you are right about the confession bit, but you be surprised how many people crack when put under intense pain, and if you want to call be a Government lady, that you can but I would prefer if you address me by my name, and seth that’s a nice name may I ask what breed he is, Her ears pick up the voice of a second female, great so much for this being peaceful encounter. “ You know Eavesdropping is quite a rude if you have something to say come say it face to face.
Jess still stayed looking over at the sun that shined very bright, with the safety off the sky’s watching over her, she had nothing to worry about so why did she feel so uneasy around others of her own gender, she may be FBI but she’s part of a Shadow Organization that use the FBI as a cover her true engender is to track and locate people with special powers. After having a run in with a coven the unit was formed working under the order of the Chief of staff of the homeland Security

Taking in a deep breath, a low growled managed to escape, though lucky for Leah it was too low for mere human ears to be able to hear it. The scent of an unfamiliar shifted coming toward them surely meant trouble for her. She listened to the footsteps, they were light and quick which more than likely meant it was a female. It obviously wasn't someone from her pack as for one she was the only female shifter in Quileute history and two, she could now see her slightly and could tell by the light skin and blond hair that she wasn't a full Indian like the rest of the shifters in her tribe. Great, this ought to be interesting. Especially with a human here that prevented both of them from shifting immediately.
"Well, those people aren't as strong as some of us." Leah stated simply, not even bothering with shrugging her shoulders for the moment being. She was too focused on the shifter that was approaching and now rather close by, which was frustrating. She wanted to shift and tear the ass off that girl for being on their land - a typical reaction from her. All these unfamiliar scents popping up were as annoying as hell. "He's a mutt," She only replied half-listening, the girl was within lunging distance at this point. Sighing she stood back up once again, deciding really she may as well staying standing. Who knows who was going to come up next, but she was thinking about ditching the lady.
When the girl finally revealed herself to a more public eye, Leah crossed her arms across her chest and a glare situated in her eyes directed toward her. "You're not supposed to be here," she said lowly though was cautious about her wording in case blondie over there could hear them. This girl should have already known this, considering there was a pack of wolves here. But the human was still here and their job was to protect them. She had a feeling shifting directly in front of her wasn't going to be considered protection exactly, considering this wasn't a vampire and she had made no move to hurt her. Which was frustrating, though one wrong move and it was going to end for her. Then again, that was just Leah.
"Yeah. For the most part when me and my 'friends' aren't up here no one is up here." Leah said, her eyes returning to the older lady as if trying to get her to leave. Her friends of course meant her pack mates, as that was the only polite way she could refer to them with her here. "No, no. Why don't you stay and chat with us?" The smile on her face was obviously much to sweet, and obviously fake.

`` Keisha grinned ruefully at the human. Intense pain. Ha. Jess didn’t know much about pain or the ‘human’ body for that matter. People could stand a lot of pain. Depending on the person and what exactly you were doing, anyone’s will was enough to stand whatever they needed to. At Jess’s second statement, Keisha nearly laughed out loud. Eavesdropping was rude. Considering the source, eavesdropping was nearly impossible. Sure she could tune out. But then again who’d want to? Some stuff she heard was just too awesome to not hear. But she couldn’t tell the human that. ”I did say I didn’t mean to be rude,”
Keisha answered with a smirk. ”And as for what I had to say, I said it. Believe me. I wouldn’t have made an appearance if I didn’t have anything to say.” Her voice was getting dangerously acidic; she’d need to watch that. `` Beside her she could tell the other shifter didn’t like her presence here. Keisha wasn’t looking for a fight or anything; after all it was her home too. But then again a wandering wolf wasn’t usually welcomed within another pack’s territory. She’d learned that easy from the wild wolf packs she and her brother had run into on their travels. She could safely hear the words Leah spoke, though she didn’t know about the human. ”I used to live here as well,” Keisha hissed under her breath right back. ”I’m a Wanderer.” The look Keisha shot at Leah now was one that said “if you’re willing to listen, I’ll explain later” but she wasn’t sure how well that would fly. If she needed to high-tail it home instead she would. Keisha knew enough to be conservative among other wolves at first. One move in the wrong direction could hurt her. Kill her, not a chance. Leah could try all she wanted. But Keisha had been around a long enough time. `` The tension hung on the air thickly. Between Leah’s death glares and the human being there Keisha may have been the calmest one. Though Jess was doing a pretty good job, even though she was outnumbered. Leah on the other hand just seemed to hate everyone’s guts for ruining her good time. Or something more than that. Keisha had an idea, considering she was a female shifter as well which was rare, but she couldn’t be too completely sure. And it wasn’t worth being a devil to find out if she was right or not. She glanced at Jess again, who seemed to be in her own little world thinking. `` Keisha looked at Leah when she spoke to her. ”Ah I see. I used to come up here when I was little,” she answered with a shrug and looked out at the horizon. ”This was the only place quiet enough where I could ever think.” Friends. Pack. Same difference. Just the word though for Jess to not be suspicious. Keisha glanced at Leah when she said that Keisha could stay. The smile was definitely forced, and it looked like it took Leah a bit to even have said that in the first place. A miniscule smirk swept across Keisha’s lips and was gone even faster. She stayed where she was. At a distance from both the shifter and human. Even she wasn’t in her right to act completely as a human would. But as those problems came, she would deal with them one after another. Jessica at this moment was in her own world unaware of what the two girls next to her are, but she for some reason enjoyed what they were saying, it was almost like they were bonding on level that none of them even knew about, she watched as the two spoke to each over it would seem they didn’t like each over, but each of them where drawn here for their own reasons.
Jessica was here to make friends and learn the layout of the land and the others well she was clueless maybe they were searching for answers who could tell in this age, she just listened and took in what they were saying even if she did look like she was on cloud nine with that she speaks saying.
“Do you to have problem with each over or something, the tension on this cliff just got very intense, I know is none of my concern but what you might want to work the issues out, but ill agree with you on that subject, this place is very peaceful my house is located smack bang in the middle of Seattle, which is not as fun as it sounds.
With the murders taking place no one is safe there. In addition, the local police cannot seem to suss out what or who is behind it, but then again I do not put much faith in them they cannot do crap she spoke.
There was something funny about the other two something seemed out of place, but maybe it was due to they sounded like they had an issues with each over, or they just dislike each over, all she could do now is listen and watch their actions, well she waits for the database to come up with matches on both of them, if they where hiding anything it would soon be made visible by the database
