..::The World Fell::..

When a meteorite fell towards Pern, it managed to hit the Red Star, breaking into small pieces, but also bringing down both pieces of itself and the red start to Pern. A ship from Earth was coming... It soon became apparent that, with Pern now isolated in the North with few dragons... the rest of Pern was likely fairing far worse. And Thread... was returning.

It became even more apparent when the new arrivals reached Northern Aurora and told some of what they had seen as they descended to a crash landing on Pern and traveled their way towards safety with the help of but a few riders from the Weyr proper... That Pern was in dire need.

A tentative peace is found in the North while an unknown world brews around them. The newcomers from Earth help to engineer new dragons... And the dragons of old are slowly gaining strength.
