Welcome to Crooked Hill. Nestled in between the Dead River and Route 106, Maine, this small town has seen it's fair share of drama since it's inception in the 1600's - from population booms, declines and economic squalor to, more recently, hauntings, murders and corruption - and this was before the Weres came to town. Vampires have settled in, claiming more than just a right to survive in the area, and with the Queen at the centre of influence toward tourism for the town it is a shaky alliance that hangs between Crooked Hill's council members and those of the night. Recent National events are proving to test these boundaries, however, as the debate for Vampire rights continues in a very public light and the actions of one Russell Edgington serve to add fuel to the anti-Vampire activists fire.
