 in a gentle breeze a voice both far and near. a shadow lurks in dim street light, casting shadows for a fright. a eerie noise that sends a chill up your spine a curse beneath the moonlight. you cannot run and you cannot hide for we are around you all the time.
In 2012 a old town on the outskirts of Quebec, Canada. That seems to always be under the cover of night, there is a large school that has stood tall and proud for centuries as heart of the town. But this town wasn't always on the map. It used to be hidden till some scientist looking at aerial maps discovered it. Since then the once secluded town that was divided between two mythical creatures, vampires and werewolves has gained popularity because of is beauty despite the strange occurrences and occasional disappearance mortals have been flocking here imposing on land that never belong to them.
The school had to change to accommodate the new arrivals of the mortals and this town seems to be different as many laws as it shares with its surrounding land its not under the same grasp as it. A family who originally founded the town hide the dark secret. and keep the nature of the original town occupants under wraps and do their best to keep the strange activity covered up. The family doesn't just safe guard the town and keep secrets they have secrets.
They're vampires. and their co rulers of the town are werewolves. The only of their kind that hold some sense of respect for each other. The royal vampires having been around for as long as the town has been standing. But just because secrets are kept doesn't mean the secrets are let out. Once in awhile a mortal stumbles across the secrets and according to how they stumble depends on who they're in the presence of which is the difference between life and death.
So which are you a mortal who's intruded on the land of werewolves and vampires or one of the creatures of the night? Its time to make your choice. Welcome to Dead of Night.
