It was such a curious thing, for weeks now Aro had disappeared, possibly dead along with the other two leaders. And yet he found it almost amusing when he learned who had assumed the position of leadership. He was unsurprised that Hayden had taken the initiative, weather it was due to pressure or something else Aro was satisfied. Then there was Lucius... He had seemed to come from nowhere but Aro admitted he did seem qualified for the task, not shirking in the line of duty and able to command respect. What was surprising though was Marionette. She was a wildcard who Aro knew little about. So far she had not done anything bad, but it had only been a short time.
I would never have thought death to be so.... Fascinating..
Isaac flinched somewhat as Aro's voice echoed in his mind. He had hoped that since the Volturi leader disappeared his presence would fade. Instead the opposite had happened. To be honest it annoyed him heavily but he didn't show it. As the only link back to the original leaders he had taken on a role similar to that of an adviser.
"Shut up..." he mumbled as he walked the halls of the castle, the place had gotten quiet these past few days, and while members gradually began to trickle back in major players such as the twins were missing as well.
He was making his way towards Hayden's room, why he had been asked there was not specified. But it didn't take a genius to figure it out. Hayden had always wondered about his past, and Aro had always refused to divulge the information. Now with him gone Isaac was the only one in the world who knew... He probably hoped Isaac would be willing to do so.
But you wont... Aro hissed in his mind as Isaac knocked on Hayden's door, and for once he agreed. Hayden's history was not one the new leader needed to have weighing on his mind possibly distracting him. Maybe at a later date. But not now.
