Isaac is a very cold man, it takes allot for him to even speak to you, and even more for him to earn his respect. Because of this he tends to be a loner, but its not something he minds however, preferring to work alone in the quiet.

Despite this he isn't afraid to speak his mind if he feels there is a point to be made. Isaac has no shortage of rivals which he actually likes... It keeps him on his toes and prevents him from going soft, he despises weakness.

Detailed history: Born in 1922 Isaac lived a tough life as a child. Germany was in economic ruin following the first world war and families throughout the country were suffering. However things began to turn for the worse, and the better as Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party began their actions that would lead them to be the rulers of the country. At the age of 14 Issac joined the Hitlers youth. He joined mostly out of pressure. At the time many children joined the group because it was 'in'. Everyone thought it was a great program for children that taught discipline, respect, and promoted leadership. And Isaac's parents believed the same.

For four years he stayed with the group and when he turned 18 decided to make the next logical step and joined the SS. He enjoyed the military style of life, the structure and discipline really struck a chord with him. At the time Germany was preparing itself fully for war under Adolf Hitler and Isaac saw nothing wrong with it. the Third Reich's argumanets were sound. The amount of racism and anti semetism did however disturb him somewhat. He had relatives who were of Jewish faith and worried for them sometimes.

With the outbreak of World War 2 Isaac saw himself swiftly rise through the ranks, his actions during the first two years of the conflict made him into a sort of rising star within the SS. However it was an injury received in Poland that would change the course of his life forever. The injury itself was not too threatening. Isaac suffered some lung damage and was still relatively fit for combat. So instead of being sent to a hospital he was instead rotated as a guard within a concentration camp.

It was here that he was shaken to his core. The conditions, treatment of prisoners, the smoke... Especially the smoke. While he didn't show it on the outside Isaac was shocked by what was occurring there on a daily basis. But it didn't really hit home until one day on guard duty he bumped into a prisoner. The skinny man was horrified and thought he would be punished, Isaac was never the kind of person to do so but many of the other guards treated the prisoners like animals. When he looked back to see who he had bumped into he recognized the man. It was his Uncle Jeremiah. They had never been close and as a result Jeremiah didn't recognize his nephew but Issac did. It took everything he had to pretend like it was nothing but that night he didn't sleep. His mind reeling at the revelation. Then with grim purpose he got up, left the barracks and tried to smuggle his uncle, aunt, and two of his cousins from the camp. The family never learned that the guard helping them was in fact a relative but they were very grateful. Isaac was about to return to the camp when everything went to hell.

From seemingly nowhere a full unit of SS led by the Gestapo, the secret police in Nazi Germany, emerged from the forest and gunned down the family and shoved Isaac to the ground. They had been suspecting Isaac for awhile now, the sharp eyes of a Gestapo agent noticing the relation between the prisoners and a guard. As they dragged Isaac they planned many things for him, mostly to be a test subject in medical experiments. It was difficult to get fit and healthy subjects for what they wanted. Over the coming months they injected him with numerous chemicals, and subjected him to numerous tests. Then one day they decided to inject his blood with a new and unknown substance they had found. The doctors didn't know it at the time but it was vampire venom.

The transformation was excrutiating but once complete the Nazis were hard pressed to keep the newborn contained. Eventually when they discovered that they could not control, nor kill Isaac they decided to get rid of him, dropping him out of a plane over the UK hoping that he would be somewhat useful in terrorising the war torn english capital of London

Isaac doesn't remember his newborn days. It was a mess of blood and pain, his mind unable to comprehend what was happening he reverted to his base desires. Near the end of his term as a newborn however he does remembered an event that hardened him. For days he had been lusting after a woman, she was gorgeous and was to be wed to a man Isaac thought unworthy of her love. Isaac was insane, and on the day of the wedding he stormed in and almost killed them both. To this day he doesn't know what happened to the pair. He regrets his actions deeply.

The events of that day however had a profound affect on his personality. He truly became aware of his actions, realizing he was a monster he worked on mastering his emotions and urges becoming as cold as ice, his mind hardened to the horrors of the world. He would never snap or go insane again, he would not submit to the monster within. Now fully in control he tried his hardest to prevent any more harm to humans, the horrors of Auschwitz burned into his memory. After a bit of trial he learned that he could live just fine off animal blood.

For awhile he wandered the world, eventually learning of his apparent gift after encountering more vampires. But he felt like he was missing something. But as time passed he began to realize what it was. The military lifestyle, the structure and discipline that gave him purpose, he now knew that there were dangers to blind devotion but he still desired it. Slowly he became aware of the Volturi and decided to go to them for a job... Unlike the human world that of the vampires only had one group ruling them, Isaac figured that it was unlikely for them to be corrupt and evil like the Nazi's were.

Wandering within Volterra he eventually was brought before Aro and the leaders where he asked them to give hi ma purpose. Suspicious he might be a spy, and also curious Aro decided to use his power to ensure Isaac was no threat. What Aro didn't know was Isaac's power. In that moment of contact Isaac's mind was flooded with Aro's memories, his power allowing the former Nazi to delve unwillingly into the Volturi leaders mind. He saw everything, from the leaders birth to his ambitions and desires. If it wasn't for the hardening of his mind he would have surely gone insane, over 3000 years worth of memories entered his head. Some whisper that the event actually did make him go insane, Isaac is much more distant and aloof than he was before meeting the volturi.

It isn't known why Aro didnt simply kill him. He had all rights to do so, the vampire now knew every little secret and weakness of the coven. A few seconds after recovering from the ordeal Isaac swore himself to secrecy, to never speak to anyone what he had seen. For Aro it seemed enough, the leader finding amusement it what had transpired.

Since then Isaac has devoted himself fully to the coven, serving the leaders fully. In addition to this he meets with Aro frequently. No one knows what transpires during these meetings, Isaac sworn to secrecy. However it has led to many members of the coven becoming disgruntled by how quickly this newcomer has risen in importance in a similar way that a class of students will dislike the teachers pet. Some whisper that perhaps he will be named Aro's new heir, other believe he may be in someway controlling the leader. Isaac cares for none of this, his life has purpose once again and he will do what it takes to keep it stable.
