personality: [minimum 2 paragraphs] Alice is a very optimistic vampire, full of life and excitement as she goes about her unlife bouncing about like a ballerina. She loves and cares for Bella as if she were her true blood sister. She often ignores other people's advice and does things her own way, which usually results in the outcome being better than predicted. She loves to sing with music three octaves higher than the song really is with her silvery bell-like voice. She has vicarious fun dressing up Bella "like a three-dimensional paper doll" and decorating for and throwing parties. She also loves shopping at expensive shops in large malls as well as makeovers.
Alice is also a very fashionable person, going on massive shopping sprees with the money she helps her family make by predicting the stock markets. Alice enjoys buying clothes for Bella and is often disappointed when Bella doesn't dress as she wishes. When Bella turns up wearing jeans and a t-shirt she often offers her help in showing Bella how to use her closet. Her adoptive sister, Rosalie Hale, shares her intense love for fashion which makes going out to the mall that much more enjoyable. Although Alice and Edward are very close, Edward often playfully calls her annoying. Edward and Alice have learned how to have a sort of mental conversation which leaves the facial expression of other’s to be priceless.
detailed history: [minimum 4 paragraphs] (Bits and pieces from beginning to current) Because of Alice’s visions, she was held in a mental asylum. She was the favorite of a vampire who worked in the building. That same vampire was the one to change her and set her free when he found out James, a hunter vampire, was after her simply because another vampire desired her. James, unable to kill Alice due to her being set free, killed the vampire at the Asylum instead. She had no memory of these events and was left to find her own way.
At some point in time she saw Jasper in one of her visions. He was searching for someone and Alice helped him with what he was looking for. They found each other in 1948 and by 1950 then soon after, with the help of more visions, found Carlisle. She and Jasper both have been a part of that family and companioned ever since. And unlike Rosalie and Emmett, once was enough for them.
Alice eventually became good friends with Bella through her association with Edward. When Bella was being hunted by James, Alice and Jasper were the ones that took Bella to Phoenix to see her mother. In 2006 when the Cullens left Forks, it is Alice who first returns to check up on Bella. Alice also travels to Italy with Bella to save Edward’s life, going so far as to steal a yellow Porsche. It was her vision and promise that Bella would be transformed into a vampire that convinced Aro and the Volturi to allow them to return to Forks.
When the threat from Victoria rises upon their return to Forks, Alice tires to use her vision to help but finds it difficult with the wolves around as they block her abilities. She kidnaps Bella at Edward’s request to protect her from the wolves. When an alliance is formed between the two groups, she helps Jasper train the others to fight the newborns.
Alice happily does most of the planning for Bella and Edward’s wedding. She even redecorated the stone cottage on the Cullen property as a wedding/birthday gift. After the birth of her beautiful and favorite niece, Renesme, Alice saw a vision of the Volturi coming for them. She leaves with Jasper so suddenly that the family assumes they have defected. While away, Alice and Jasper search for another hybrid vampire like Nessie to prove to the Volturi that Nessie isn’t a threat. They find Nahuel in Chili and return to Forks with him and his Aunt Huilen to stand as a witness to this fact. They return just in time to confront the Volturi.

Bright golden orbs were now opened wide as they looked over the sight before her. Why couldn’t Bella just wear the clothes that she picked out for her? They were always stylish and up t o date in latest fashion. WHY oh why did that woman continue to chose torn and beaten up old jeans and a ratty t-shirt with little to no color over the expensive beautiful breath taking clothes Alice picked out for her. “I feel a headache coming on” pale index fingers and middle singers of both hands pressed firmly to the sides of her face, just against her temples. Those bright gold orbs were lost behind eyelids and delicate eyelashes now. Slowly, in a circular motion, she rubbed her temples. Sure the pixie-like girl was frustrated but she would never speak it. Her voice was always so soft and angelic, it was hard to tell when she was angry.
“Alright you. I’m going to try this one more time. Got it?” She opened her eyes and lowered her hands to her sides. “Bella Bella Bella” her voice chimed before a chuckle could be heard. Even her laughter was angelic, almost leaving hint to an echo when she had already stopped. Turning on her feet like a ballerina, she left the living room and floated up the stairs to Bella’s room. “EDWARD” she grinned as she rounded the corner of the room “out” she pointed almost fiercely. “Bella is down stairs and I need to spend the day reorganizing her closet. Some how she found her old ugly jeans and t-shirts I had hidden so well under the stairs. I can’t imagine who must have told her where they were.” She eyed her brother, the only one who could read minds. “So out you go. It’s your fault I can’t go out with Bella now. This is way more important.” She waited for her brother to leave so she could look over the closet. Again she felt as if her head would explode. All the clothes that had been bought for her sister were gone and replaced with the old jeans, shirts, jackets, and shoes. “Okay. I understand keeping some for comfort, but this is just crazy.”
Her credit card was now in hand as she prepared to leave. The front door would have been the most obvious way to go, but she’d have to pass both Edward and Bella to get there. Sure Edward was probably reading her every thought, but by the time Bella could do anything it would be way to late “Oooh I can buy my adorable niece some things while I’m out as well.” She spoke to herself as she opened the window and jumped out. She landed on her feet like a kitten, so delicately. Not a sound had even been made.
Alice was out for several hours and the next time anyone saw her was when she was walking back through the front door with boxes and tons of bags with new clothes. She stopped briefly, grinning, as she eyed Bella who seemed to be sitting in shock. “Oh yes dear sister. All these bags have new clothes in it, which means you get to be my life size doll once again. Maybe that will teach you to listen to me and follow my fashion judgment closer next time. OH and the boxes are for the things that are currently hanging in your closet. You know, the things you call clothes and what I call trash? Yeah they’re going bye bye” she smiled “Don’t make me get Rosalie. I’ll do it.” She skipped up the stairs passing Jasper, who she kissed quickly. Once she was in Bella’s room she called down to her “BELLA! I want you in here ready for dressing in TEN minutes!” she chuckled to herself then set the boxes under the window, which she now closed after her jump she had done earlier. Clothes were pulled out of the bags and laid along the bed, hung over chairs, and then hung against the closet doors. Now Alice simply awaited the arrival of her glorious life size doll of a sister. Oh how she loved dressing Bella. Made for a wonderful evening.
