In-depth Analysis

Personality:
Cameron is outspoken, rude, mischievous and morally flexible, and has a habit of verbally abusing everyone around him - even people that he cares for. He is self-absorbed, impulsive, and incapable of taking anything short of a direct attempt on his life seriously. Even when in the most ludicrous and dangerous situations, he'll take time out to make a wisecrack. Naturally, Cam's abrasive personality means that he's often the subject of others' ridicule and abuse.

He almost completely lacks the capacity to feel embarrassment, shame or emotional pain from such attacks and will quite happily shrug them off. It's rare when things do get to him. Usually, something that bothers him is something that reminds him of his past or if it has something to do with his mom. Although most of his rudeness, self-absorbed, and selfish acts are merely jokes that he wants to beleive serious.

Despite all of these traits, Cameron is not an inherently bad person. After realizing how happy his mother is with her new boyfriend, Iwan, he called a truce with him. He has even made an effort to reconnect with his father Also, Cam has a huge affection for babies and toddlers as a result of his father's poor parenting.

Detailed history:
Cameron was born and grew up in Ireland, raised by his mother Miranda as his father Casey was very distant. It seems that Casey also had another woman at around this time, although Casey chose to stay with Miranda and Cam. Eventually, however, Casey left them as well and remained a shadowy figure in his son's life.

His childhood was fine, however. Besides his father not showing any care or even attempting to be a father he had his mother who was always there for him. He made sure to always make sure she was happy even if it hurt him. He went through school with passing grades, although not perfect, he made his way through.

His long history led back to the Quil's; he has their blood running through his veins. He shifted the first time a few weeks after his seventeenth birthday. His mother had told him she inherited it from her side even though she doesn't shift herself. She gave him all the information she knew, however, it wasn't much.

A day out of the town and in a mall, Cam found himself roaming the stores. A person had been stealing some items, stashing them in his pockets, feared he would be caught. So, Cam took the items from him. He had panned on putting it all elsewhere. The security guards asked him what he planned on doing as he looked suspicious. Being the idiot he can be he told them, "I was panning on stealing but now I'm putting it all back." The guards asked him to hand over the merch, however, he refused and kept telling them he would put it back. Eventually they told him to put his hands up....and again, he refused. It took a good ten minutes before Cam had made a scene. The guards tried grabbing him so he throw the merchandise and ran for it... With his strong dislike for Iwan, Cam elected to do community service rather than have his father pay for the damage he had caused.

Cam had some trouble at home when his mother began a serious relationship with Iwan. Cam made it his mission to badger, cajole, and 'bully' Iwan to the point that his mother eventually threw him out of the house, choosing her boyfriend over her own son. For a while Cam lived inside a homeless center, initially as a result of his mother throwing him out of the house.

A month later, Miranda decided to move to America. Cam heard and asked if he could come with her. He loved his mother way to much for her to be to far away from him. She agreed although set pretty strict house rules. He set a truce with Iwan to help the relationship with himself and his mother to patch up. Here in La Push he has seen others like him, the wolves, but hasn't bothered speaking to them.

Now he's still doing community service and a lone wolf.

Roleplay sample:

Today Amera had spent most of the day in her room. She left a few times to eat and talk with some of the kids, but found it rather peaceful to give a day mostly for herself. She sighed lightly walking around her room. She searched for items that might be misplaced to put them away. She didn't find anything but a sock and a shirt. Amy walked over and tossed both clothing items in her clothes hamper then made her way to her bed. She sat down and placed her hearing aids beside her then moved her legs into an Indian style sit. The aids were new, she just bought it after her old ones broke

knock, knock....knock, knock....her bed room door opened and she looked over

A smile appeared on her face-someone wanted to talk to her! She loved company. She placed her hearing aids back on her ears and signed "Come in," The door wasn't locked or anything so she wouldn't have to get up again. She did, however, move herself to one side of the bed just in-case she wanted to sit down. Their was a chair on the other side of the room, however, Amy didn't like that it would be far away.. She sighed lightly and leaned against the wall behind her.

Kristen come to give her some books she could read in her free time. Kristen worked for the agency and was assigned Amy to look after in the G wing of the building. The whole hallway was hers to look after. Smiling, she gave her thanks and asked if she could be taken to the park for some fresh air. Kristen agreed, but told her they'd only go for a few hours.

Once at the park she sat near a river on a rock. It was rather peaceful today which was good for her, although she did want someone to talk to. She figured she could stick her feet in the water but as she stood her jeans pants got stuck between the rocks she was sitting on. "Hmph" She muttered, trying to pull the pants loose....she failed terribly. Now she was stuck there...but she kept trying to pull herself free.
