In-depth Analysis

Personality: Mikaela’s personality is one that can easily be defined through fashion and fame. For the majority of her life, she resided in the Big Apple where she held every girl’s dream job. Little did she realize just how much money could influence people. She isn’t stuck up or snobby in any way, but she holds a certain sense of pride and elegancy in the way she presents herself. Almost always she can be seen wearing some top designer clothes with a pretty necklace and some heels.

As editor-in-chief, she had met several models, celebrities, and it was just custom for her to act in an appropriate way. Manners were prominent, but she still held a certain edge to her. If provoked in the right way, she could easily snap to adapt to her more wild nature. It wasn’t above her to make someone feel inferior if they deserved it. Her co-worker who had changed her was no exception. From the point of infection on, Mikaela made it her mission to make that woman miserable in being in second place. And she succeeded.

Detailed history: Mikaela Moore was born and raised in the city of New York, New York. She grew up on the more wealthy side of town, so the crime rate that she witnessed was relatively low. Everything in her childhood was normal. Her father never abused her, nor did her mother ever leave her. It was normal and perfect. Her attendance in school was like any other teenagers, tainted a bit by skipping yet still enough to get amazing grades. No matter how hard she tried to excel at math and science, somehow writing and English were always her calling. She was accepted into New York University and of course, received her master’s in English with a minor in Composition. It was with that major that her life would slowly change.

Upon graduation from NYU, Mikaela struggled to find her career. She had tried the world of a high-school English teacher, but bored teen-age kids were no her calling. It was one day when she was getting her hair cut that she came across a copy of that month’s Elle magazine. There was a wide-spread article on their search for a new editor. It seemed so far-fetched, but she thought, like any other woman, that it couldn’t hurt to try. And she was glad she did. Six months after waiting in the dark, she received a phone call from the editor-in-chief saying she wanted to meet with her for a formal interview. Of course, that was the start to her fashion-booming career. From that day forth, Mikaela was next to the top on one of the world’s most successful magazines.

However, there were several people who disposed her immediate jump to position and they feuded daily. They would taunt her and make her feel inferior, but it never fazed her. She was always confident in how extraordinary her work was. It wasn’t until one of her co-workers took it too far one night that Mikaela realized the true monsters she was working alongside.

The girl had followed her home one evening after a long day of work. Mikaela hadn’t thought anything of it, just thinking that the woman was heading in the same general direction to a nearby store maybe. It wasn’t until the woman stepped out of the car and raced after her that Mikaela felt something wrong. It was a low blow, but she had been bitten and infected. Initially, she thought her co-worker was perhaps just crazed with jealousy, and while that wasn’t a lie…it wasn’t the complete truth. Mikaela had had no idea what happened to her until the first full moon of the month when she underwent and extraordinary change. A muscular, beautiful tiger has made its entrance into her life…demanding appearance once a month.

It took some getting used to, but eventually Mikaela learned to control her transformations. Not completely, but enough to keep from putting herself or anyone else in any danger of her beast. It didn’t click that her co-worker infected her until she began to feel a strong connection and draw towards her and her energy. It was a ridiculous situation. Two weretigers working for one of the nation’s biggest magazines. Mikaela tried to live with it, and for a few more years she did. But, something just didn’t feel right anymore. The desire to edit diminished while the desire to be accepted as her true self began to grow.

It was a rainy Friday night when she decided to leave the gorgeous city. It was her roots and home, but she knew if her secret of being a lycan ever got out, she would be ruined. Better to quit on a good note then be fired on a bad one. At least by quitting she would continue to have a reliable reference for other jobs. Through word of mouth, she had heard of Seattle's high infection rate and she immediately knew that was where she was destined to be. She packed up her things and within a week of her decision, she was gone…leaving the Big Apple to find her place among her own. Her wealth and clothes, of course, followed her. And while she still held on to her life in New York, she was excited to start a new chapter of her life.

Fears: Her biggest fear is being alone. She doesn’t mind it in the sense of being alone in her apartment, but rather the sense of losing her friends and those that she holds dear to her heart. Luckily, her family has always supported her decisions and she has remained close to them. But, the unknowing of what could happen in the future sometimes drives her to a small realm of insanity.
Strengths: Mikaela’s strengths come from having a strong sense of being. Having been tossed around in the fashion industry and working her way to the top, she has experienced several brutal verbal attacks. But, regardless, she lifted above it and vowed never to be one of those people. From her extremely friendly attitude to her persuasiveness in a situation, everything stems from her efforts to be on top.
Weaknesses: Unfortunately, Mikaela’s big weakness is her desire to be noticed. If she is in a large crowd, her heart longs for every person to notice her. Of course, that’s not always the way it happens, but there have been times where she causes quite a scene in order to be noticed. It was a slight side-effect from the fashion industry and it’s her only regret in joining. She’s used to the attention and to be alone and secluded frightens her and causes her to un-necessarily worry.

Physical Appearance

Facial appearance: Mikaela's face is soft yet determined. Everything about her demeanor says she is high-maintenance. Her brown eyes compliment her curling hair while her high cheek bones give her a sense of poise and propriety.
Clothing: This weretiger will only wear design name clothing even though her attire can turn to be quite simple. She also enjoys the finer causalities of dressing though, having numerous dresses for all occasions.
Build: Her build is athletic and that of a model. In the fashion industry, it was a requirement and she has maintained her figure even after moving to Seattle.
Marks/scars: Mikaela has three claw mark scars on her lower back from an encounter with a rogue tiger. She makes sure to keep them covered though, as she finds them to be the definition of an imperfection.
