personality: Sean is a very laid back guy. It takes a lot to make him mad and most people would call him insane. He will often begin talking about something totally different from the topic you were discussing with him and suddenly jump back on track. He is often scatter brained when not in a theatre. When he is at work though, he will often become very wrapped up in it and will often refuse to be pulled away from a project before it’s finished.
Sean loved to meet new people and since graduating high school, he now helps in the local high schools theatre. Recruiting freshman is his favorite job. Some of them last, others don’t make it past the fall play. But either way, they get a taste for the magic that is being part of the stage crew. Those that do make it often become good friends with Sean and he helps them in all the aspects that he can. He can often scare people who don’t know him, but those that stick around to get to know him will more often than not come to love him and be like family to him.
detailed history: Sean was raised by his father as a single dad. His mother had left them alone when he was young. She had fallen for another man and had never really cared for the child she had given birth to. If it had been her choice she would have gotten rid of the child, but it had been too late in the pregnancy and her husband at the time refused to let her. His father did what he could to give Sean a good upraising, working two jobs to pay the bills for the small two bedroom home they lived in.
Sean did his best to stay out of trouble while in school, some kids teased him for not having a mom, and others defended him in the aspect. Those that defended him became his closest friends. It started in middle school, watching one of his friends in the fall play that Sean caught wind of the techies. He soon joined them and loved it. While in middle school still he did not get to do all that much but assist after school for about an hour with the high school students.
When Sean started high school he instantly joined with the stage crew, many of whom knew him already. He fit in well with the group and being there made it a little easier on his dad, knowing that he was somewhere safe and doing something he enjoyed. The late nights made it easier on his father to work more to make money for them. As the years wore on, Sean’s father started to get sick. Though it took a lot of convincing, Sean got his father to agree to stop working as hard. Sean himself dropped some of this techie work to pick up a job to help pay bills. Shortly after Sean graduated high school his father passed away from a heart attack. At age 19 Sean was alone in the world. He had his friends, who helped him get through the next few months but being in the small town and having everyone look sorry for him was too much.
At the end of the summer, Sean sold the two bedroom home he had grown up in and moved as far as he could from the small town of Hopewell. He ended up in a small town called Forks in Washington. This part of the country was under a constant cloud cover and it didn’t bother Sean one bit. He settled in nicely and soon began to work at the local high school, in the theatre department of course.
