personality: Rose just about always has a personal war going on inside her head. Rose in herself has two personalities, two souls. Jasmine who is pure evil and Rose who is still pure of heart, at least mostly. She has gone through some rough patches in her life that have blackened the edges of her heart. Over the years Rose always fought with Jasmine for control over her own mind. During the times that Jasmine did gain control Rose had blackouts and never recovered the time lost. Slowly Rose began to gain some control and keep her own mind awake during Jasmine’s spells. The years have passed now and the war between the two souls has settled some, for Rose’s sake.
Rose is a gentle soul who loves to talk and help when she can. She’s a friendly person and willing to be the first to speak up. While that may lead people to believe that she is a goody two shoes in some cases, though she is not. She can take people making fun of her; she grew up with it and just brushes it off her shoulder easily. Rose is not easily scared and she is more than willing to stick up for her friends when they need her. She is honest, loyal and caring.
Jasmine is quite the opposite of Rose. She would rather get right down to a fight than try and talk it out. Jasmine enjoys creating distress in others and will be the first to make a smart remark about anyone. Jasmine used to be highly out of Rose’s control but now that they have come to an agreement she is trying not to torment Rose as much as she used to.
Both Rose and Jasmine remember the man they married and the father of Rose’s child, since Jasmine puts no claims on her. Part of Rose is still utterly in love with him and part of her still holds a small grudge against him for leaving. Though she also feels she can’t blame him for not coming back, she had never told him about her being pregnant. Jasmine on the other hand has nothing but disgrace for the man. She believes that Slade should never have left in the first place. Jasmine had to put up with Rose’s sadness over a few months of losing him. She had hated that. Rose had to put up with a lot to have the child she did.
With what has happened; Rose has lost her control allowing Jasmine to take over her body.
detailed history: Rose was born into a partially normal family. While she was growing up she did have her magic. She was born with it. Her parents did not turn their daughter away for this. They supported her and did everything that they were able to, to insure that Rose had a good childhood. When Rose was five, her familiar came to her and from then on helped her to grow and develop her powers.
At the age of fourteen Rose experienced something that changed her life forever. She had just been out walking in the woods like she did every afternoon, enjoying the nature. That was when she heard something. She had stopped and looked around trying to find what it was that she heard. The next few minutes are still a blur in her mind. A wolf dashing out of the forest and pinning her to the ground, snapping at her shoulder. The hissing and howling of her familiar. When Rose had come to she was bleeding from her left shoulder and with a glance around the clearing she spotted her familiar dead.
A light mewling to the right and a new cat came trotting in but Rose knew it was still her familiar. Behind the new cat was her father. He carried her home and over the next two weeks she was nursed back to herself by her parents. When the wound was fully healed it was only a week from the full moon. SarahBeth, her familiar pulled her outside and told her that she could feel a new power in Rose. That on the night of the full moon she should be as far away from her home as she could be.
When the full moon came she was gone as SarahBeth had told her. She shifted alone in the woods and hunted her first meal as a wolf with little ease. Over the next few months Rose did the same thing every month. It was on her sixth full moon that she noticed something different. There was a voice calling in the back of her head. Jasmine’s first emergences. SarahBeth left her in the next month, telling her she had another charge to look after and that she would be fine.
Over the next months Jasmine became louder inside her head. Telling Rose her story every time she shifted. Jasmine had been cursed to have her soul wander the world for the deeds she had done. She possessed Rose when she was attacked but with Rose’s magic and the new wolf, Jasmine had gotten pushed down in all the power. Every shift Rose learned a new deed of Jasmine’s.
Finally deciding that her parents would not be safe with her, Rose left in the middle of the night. She never heard from her parents again. Jasmine came out on the night of Rose’s twelfth shift. A year after she had gotten into Rose’s body. Jasmine wreaked havoc on the little town near Rose’s camp.
When Rose came to in the morning she had no memory of what happen. Rose was fifteen when Jasmine made her first appearance. She spent the next year wandering the woods alone; at times having Jasmine come out before she shifted. Rose had begun to figure out the reason for her blackouts and was desperately trying to find a way to stop them when she met him.
Slade and she met when Rose was sixteen. They soon became friends and traveled together. Rose had warned him many a time about Jasmine and how dangerous she was. With Slade’s help, Rose was able to stay conscious when Jasmine took over. No more blackouts. Rose and Slade continued to travel together as friends, but it slowly developed into something more.
When Rose was eighteen Slade and her stopped in a small town and got married. Moving onto the next town the two settled for almost a year. After that, either it was that Slade could not take the settled down life or something from his past came back but he left her, not divorcing her, just up and leaving one day.
Rose wondered for so long why he left. It was two months later that she learned she was pregnant. Wanting to keep the baby but knowing that shifting would destroy all hope of that she made a deal, with her wolf and Jasmine. Jasmine would be allowed to do as she pleased for three days, the day before, the day of and the day after the full moon. This was as long as she satisfied the wolf in her, to keep her from shifting every month. So for the next seven months Rose moved from town to town at the end of the full moon.
When the baby was born she was sure that it was Slade’s because of the child’s left eye, it was the same as his. Rose cared for the child, Jasmine staying back and putting no claim upon the child, she was all Rose’s. Years passed and both Rose and her daughter, Arien grew with the times.
Rose was twenty-four and Arien four years old when something happened. Arien disappeared. She was gone, just gone with no trace of how or where she went. This loss broke Rose down to near death. Getting fed up with it; Jasmine easily pushed her way past Rose and took over her body. It took her a month to build back the strength that Rose had let slip away. The roles of the two souls have switched and now Rose is the one trapped within while Jasmine has most of the control.
fears: Rose: her greatest fear has come true with the loss of her daughter // Jasmine: a strange but high fear of frogs and other small slimy creatures. She can deal with worms and other bugs but frogs, newts and salamanders and such just give her the creeps.

facial appearance: Her skin is a gently tanned color. Her hair is pure black and falls in small gentle and soft curls down to the middle of her back. She has a tendency to not do much more with her hair other then brush it out in the morning. She isn’t bothered when the wind messes with it. Her eyes are the gentle color of a green forest. She wears her eye make-up with the shadowed look most of the time. Delicate lush red lips grace her generally flawless face. The red is her natural lip color
clothing: Rose loves to wear skirts, be they long or short. She also loves to wear Victorian style clothing. Rose keeps her cleavage covered for the most part and does not go around flaunting herself. One of the few ways to tell the difference between Rose and Jasmine is that when Jasmine is out, she will flaunt herself. Jasmine is content to wear the clothes that Rose wears since she can turn them into her own look.

powers: Being as Rose was born a witch she holds the power of nature along with the strength, speed and nose of her wolf. As a witch Rose had become fairly powerful. She is fairly apt at working spells and rituals. Rose can place a good curse on someone if she has to but she tries to avoid them. Rose’s power element is the water. Now because water is in just about everything this gives her too much power. At least that’s how she felt, even more so when Jasmine came along. Rose asked of the gods and goddesses to limit her magic. She is as pure of heart as she can be and does not wish for her magic to consume her.
In response to Rose’s request, the gods and goddesses did lock up a portion of her power inside herself. Only if she is in dire need of it will she be allowed to access the contained power. Rose had a familiar when she was younger and still learning the craft, but a few months after her attack, Rose had control of her power and her familiar left her to find a new charge.
While Rose still has her powers of being born a witch, when she was fourteen she was attacked and the next full moon she shifted to her wolf. Because of this Rose gained the advantages of being a lycan, the inhuman speed, strength and smell. She learned over the time of traveling alone through the woods that any wounds she gained healed much faster than normal. She also discovered the pain of silver while traveling alone in the woods. When a bandit attacked her with a silver blade, the knife wound healed at human speed. Rose has little actual command over normal wolves. She can sense where they are and if they are hurt. The wolves also avoid her small camp sites at night, leaving her in some peace.
Jasmine has the same powers as Rose, but with Jasmine she shifts part of her body. While Rose can do this too she has never tried. One of the ways to tell when it is Jasmine and not Rose is if she has fangs, Jasmine always shifts her teeth to fangs when she is out.
