Aro strongly believes in law and order. He always works hard for a peaceful society. He feels that if someone in his position doesn't follow the rules as a good example, then no one will follow them. He believes that to maintain the order all law-breakers must be punished, even if that goes against his own wishes.

Volturi law is supreme, not caring about human laws he will kill his friends if they go against the law, no to restate that, he will personally kill you himself he has a nicer side that he tends to prefure to the evil side of him

detailed history:

After a Decade or so of wording the world as a vampire, he tracked his sister down in order to gain her power, which by doing so killed her and made her what he is but her power was no use to him. After Marcus fell in love with her, they both wanted to leave the Coven, so he killed her and used the ability of Chelsea to brainwash Marcus and keep him loyal to them.

By the Year 500 BC, he had decided it was time for a change in power and along with other members of the Volturi he met along the way he overthrew the current Coven leader of the Romanian Coven, and claimed it as his own he lift the Romania Coven alive so they could run things well he moved to his new home where he rules it with the other members he appointed as leaders Upholding the law and keeping things running smoothly

Present day he still rules the coven as its leader along with the others members, but a disturbing turn of events have forced him to turn his eyes to the Rumours of someone building an army and of murders and deaths happening all over seattle , in doing so Dispatched Jane, Felix, Demetri, to observe and to keep an eye on forks and the murders.

How he handles this incident, will make or break the vampires, he may be powerful but if the vampire covens united angst him then he would have no choice but to Exile himself, to avoid the shame of losing to a lower ranked vampire. His dislike for Edward and Bella. Has grown over the years, but in this life time he more pressing matters to attend to, this is the Cruse and the power he holds as the leader of the Vampire nation.

He also has the mark of the VOlturi around his neck in the form of a necklace and witch he never removes even when he’s fighting.

roleplay sample: The Day was drawing to close in the town of Volterra, Italy well at least for the humans, but under their very noses the heart of the vampire nation lived, the Volturi the rulers of all vampires under the command off Aro, the main leader of the Volturi they get there daily intake of blood by allowing Tours into their inner domain and then ending their lives, before removing the bodies and allowing the next set to enter it’s a plan that has worked for many lifetimes which allows the Volturi to get there Fix.

Aro was in the halls at present talking to other members about issues, when a unsettling report comes to his ear of murders going on around Seattle, this could proof to be problematic due to it is breaking the law of the vampires that he upholds. Upon hearing the news his eyes turn to black, as if he is ready to strike at the next human he sees, they return to red and he arises from his throne and begins to speak saying.

“This is very Disturbing news, do we know who is behind this it’s a problem that could grow and if the rumours of this army are true then we may need to take action to prevent this, I wont have some freelance vampire, trying to mess-up what I have build for vampires, even the Cullen’s keep to the rules for the most part, even if they don’t drink blood like us real vampires, summon Jane, Felix and Demetri. It is about time that I sent them over to Seattle to monitor this mess and to take action if they deem it”.

He then sits back in his throne and waits for the people he had summoned to arrive, they where the best he had at this moment in time and their gifts where an asset to him and the coven if they couldn’t sort this mess out then, he himself would have to go and deal with it and that means someone will die. “If I have to go there myself and deal with this then I'm going to make sure the people who are behind this die and burn their bodies. In the mean time I think is time to pay a visit to Forks.
