He had to try. He had to get to the bottom of this unexplained quietness that seemed to have surrounded his imprint. His other half. It was seriously driving him insane but he never did once forget the advice his best friend gave to him. Give her time and make sure that she didn’t feel that he was walking on eggshells. It was bad enough that Kaylee Roberts was not as bubbly as she used to be. Colin didn’t want to end up getting her into a shell that was hard to crack because that would make him all the more worried.
The eighteen year old pressed his lips as he carefully poured some milk into a glass. When he was done, he placed the carton of milk back into the refrigerator and closed the door. After that task was done, he moved over to one of the cabinets that was found in the kitchen and opened it up. He got a pack of Oreos out and then closed the cabinet door again shut He snatched the small plate out from the countertop that he had taken out earlier and made his way back to the table where he had the glass of the milk. Opening the packet carefully, he slid out the contents of it on the said plate before tossing the empty packet into the trash bin. Hey, when he said he was going to try he was going to do it discreetly and in the way that his imprint actually liked. He hopes she liked Oreos and milk as much as he did. It was his favorite snack among other things. Call it bribing or whatever, but this was his attempt on getting her to open up with him. Plus, Colin didn’t just share his cookies with anyone; you really had to be special to share a cookie with Kaylee. Kaylee was special to him.
The male Quileute shape shifter grabbed the glass of milk on one hand and the plate of Oreo cookies on the other hand. Satisfied at what he had prepared, he made his way to what used to be his room. Upon reaching it, he placed the plate on top of the glass and easily balanced it. Lightly he knocked on the door. ”Kayleee?” He called out softly. ”It’s me and I’m coming in okay?” He added figuring to give her a heads up on him entering the room. Reaching for the knob, he turned it before pushing it open. He poked his head in at first and when his brown eyes spotted her, he allowed a smile to grace his lips.
”Hey…” He greeted her gently before pushing the door wider and finally stepped inside. Colin left the door ajar for a bit just to be on the safe side. ”Brought you a glass of milk and a plate of cookies. Oreos.” He said as he grabbed a chair and carefully placed the glass down on it as well as the plate. ”Figured you could use some…’ He added keeping the smile on his lips as he remained standing and keeping his eyes observantly on her. Now all he had to do was wait for her to take the bait. Hopefully she wouldn’t be able to read anything into his actions.tag kaylee muse amazing wedding cakes notes long time no post D:

The had been spent thus far thumbing through magazines and jotting down some notes with in her notebook for songs and even some little projects she needed to be doing around her apartment whenever she was to go home. But somewhere with in her did not wish to go home; she was enjoying herself with Colin, even if he thought differently. The way he acted sometimes had almost convinced her she had done something to illicit such a response from him- as though she had done something to make him believe she did not wish to be near him. They were still getting to know each other, and she was still getting used to it all- all of the attention and devoutness- but she thoroughly enjoyed his company and was rather content. She still felt her heart flutter every time they passed by, or even any moment he smiled to her. His voice inspired the brightest of smiles and she could not possibly fathom how she could have made him feel. Singing to herself as she continued to sit in her white pajama pants, of which were almost too big for her, and an overly-large orange t-shirt, Kaylee heard the light tapping upon the door to the room, and could not help but smile as she heard him call to her. "Hiya!"
Her giggles began as she saw him and the cookies and milk; it was absolutely adorable and very thoughtful of him. Quickly she hopped from her position on the bed onto her feet and quickly skipped over to him. She locked her hands behind her back and smiled up at him, thanks to the recognizable height difference. "Mmm!" She giggled. "Thanks so much! But you know what I could use more?" She poked him playfully once or twice before returning her hands behind her back. Too excited to see him after a rather peaceful and comfortable sleep and a few hours of alone time, she refused to allow him the time to answer. "A nice, very warm Colin hug." She quickly and eagerly held her arms out to him, shining her smile right up at him.

The male shape shifter had to huff softly in response to her question. Colin lifted his gaze up and allowed it to land on her. He didn’t have time replied back to her question but that didn’t stop a tender smile on his lips. ”A hug?” He added feeling the need to ask her because she really sounded like wanted that hug more than cookies. This shape shifter was shock that a girl would want a hug then cookies. Then that nagging voice in his head was telling him he wanted more than to just hug her. He wanted to kiss her. He told her before that he would do anything for her. And when he said anything, he meant anything. Provided of course that it was within reason. He wasn’t just going to do something that was bad just because she asked him to. He still had a mind of his own anyway. As she open her arms and started giggling which sounded like a beautiful melody in his head, a satisfied smile came to decorate his lips. So far so good. Her welcoming arms eagerly waited for him. He embraced her, the scent of her soft floral shampoo eddying in the air. The last thing he’d expected when he enter here was to have her in his arms, but when she raised her face to look up at him, he knew he wanted to take it one step further. He desperately wanted to kiss her.
Everything about him was rough. His hands, his face, his lips. He was the perfect opposite to Kaylee, who felt wonderful in his overly warm embrace. She was smooth, silky, and sweet. Whatever he did to deserve her, he knew he would never find out. He looked down into her eyes and smile. His pulse began to quicken as his mind went blank, which made him feel somewhat strange. As he felt a last surge of reason pass through him, he leaned forward, closed his eyes, and kissed Kaylee – right on the lips. It was the kind of kiss of which he had dreamt of his whole life. A long passionate, lingering kiss. He could feel himself becoming more and more aroused. Opening his eyes and pulling himself away from her, he looks into her deep, light blue eyes. Oh shit, what did he just do!? He kissed his soul mate…in his room. WTH! He didn’t want their first kiss to go down like this. No he wanted something a little bit more romantic. A candle lit thing for example or a picnic at the beach. Shit! He blows it. “I’m s-sorry…” He pulled back from her, not sure how she take this. He accidently spilled over the milk and cookies from the chair. Geez, real smooth. Would she hate him!? Oh God, Colin didn’t think he could live with himself if he thought he ruins everything between Kaylee and him. Especially when he liked kissing her, he liked it a lot, actually. He also loved her bubbly personality, her warm laugh; her sweet voice…the list goes on. He kneel down to pick up the now empty glass of milk and non-eatable cookies on the plate. tag kaylee muse silence notes nada

Biting her lower lip lightly, she nodded to him when he rephrased her question. It had seemed odd to feel so comfortable with someone she barely knew, but Kaylee’s inner workings only compelled her to be close to him whenever he was around. She needed to feel his warm skin against hers; she felt as though she needed to have his scent fill her nose even if most vampires would describe it as a stench. He kept her on the ground, where she wanted to be. He kept her from doing anything reckless and dangerous; he kept her sane. Just when she had thought she had no one else, he had wandered into her life aimlessly. But she still did not know, for certain, just how deep the imprinting was; she tried so very hard to understand and even though she could not ever even dream of something such as it, it still existed. As their warm skin collided, her smile grew. The red head caught a glimpse of anew look with in his eyes.
It all happened so fast; she looked up to him and then his lips were pressed against hers. Her eyes fluttered shut all in the same moment and she nearly melted. Her knees grew weak and the tiny little hybrid did everything she could to stay standing up. She could feel herself floating, as if the clouds were their kingdom and the two of them had just made their final kisses with each other and so forever they would stay. As soon as he pulled away, her eyes opened and she suddenly felt empty. Her smile had dimmed and she looked at him with curious eyes. “Colin…” The fragile little girl pulled him back to her by one arm. “Come back, silly,” Kaylee giggled softly; her movements were light and effortless. “Don’t be sorry…” She bent down to where he was and stopped him from picking up anything further, only to place light kiss on his lips and then another one on his cheek.

Colin stares down at Kaylee with a tender smile on his face. He kept his arms around Kaylee where his seem to fit just perfectly around her petite frame. Like if his arms were made for only her or something romantic like that. He still expected Kaylee to shove him away any second…Yet, Kaylee surprise him with a kiss. He felt something inside him swirl around with excitement. Even after knowing he was a werewolf, Kaylee still trusted him. This made his heart beat faster than any NASCAR race car out there.
It was so unlike the werewolf to care for a vampire. He had begun to care about Kaylee and didn’t see her as vampire or human. Anyone else who knew them thought Colin and Kaylee as cute and oddest couple, anyone who knew them to be together would say that they were in a relationship. As long as Kaylee was with him, whether in person or within his thoughts, he’d be perfectly content with the way things had turned out. No…that last sentence was a lie. A big bull shit ass lie. He had already loved and lost, and he wasn’t certain if he wanted to deal with that again. What he had gone through with ex-girlfriend had been heart wrenching and unbearable, but he had gotten through it. He saw this as a sort of opening: a doorknob being turned and the pathway being lit up before him that would hopefully bring him a new sort of enjoyment and fulfillment in life. And that enjoyment and fulfillment just so happened to go by the name of Kaylee Roberts.
The second that his eyes laid on Kaylee after she returned the kiss: he smiled charmingly, “Wow…” forgetting about anything else aside from her. But that was a given. Whenever she slithered into the same room as him, looking as good as she always did, even in her pj’s, he had the tendency to lose his focus. And that was understandable. Immediately and without giving it any thought whatsoever he leaned over and gave Kaylee another slow, gentle kiss on the lips, but that was shock the two of them – okay, shock Colin more. He smiled somewhat childishly up at her, giddy as a young schoolboy could ever be, and let he hand drift down to Kaylee’ warm Piglet pink cheek, “I love you.” he told her, his words casual. He gave her another smile before he removed his hand from her cheek and skillfully twined her fingers in his, the small gesture somehow seeming more important to him than ever before. tag kaylee bearr. muse t.i ft. rihanna - live your life notes sorry for the late reply
