Needing to get away, and breath fresh air (not that he can breath really) Edward ran from the house. It was sunny, meaning he'd have to keep out of the public eye. He knew where he wasnted to go, and he would be there alone for the first time in months. He hated being alone now more then ever, but it was clear that Bella wouldn't change her mind. Edward didn't need an insight into her mind to know that. Jacob made it loud and clear enough. Stupid pup. It made him cringe to think of her hanging out with the pack of dogs in La Push. But there was nothing he could do. He just had to deal with it...or so he had been told by his darling family. Sure they hated seeming him so alone, but they all knew he had to move on, it was just him who wasn't ready yet.
Darting through trees at the speed only cheetahs could match, only coming to a stop when he hit the edge of the meadow. It was exactly how he remembered, still green and lush, out in the open but so far from the beaten hikers track that he was safe. Sniffing the air, Edward knew it was safe. No humans around, and as far as he could tell, he was completely alone. Stepping out into the glittering sun, he sighed. No whispering like at school, no thoughts needing to be blocked out. It was so, clam.
Walking out into the middle of the meadow, Edward suck down into the grass. Lying back he shut his eyes and relaxed, thinking through everything that happened recently. Finding out about Bella and the mutt had hurt enough, but seeing there was no way to change it was just nauseating. He'd risked so much wanting her, including his family's safety which Rosalie was sure to never let him forget. Still he was ready to fight for her. As ready as Jacob had been before Edward left. The breeze wound through the trees and into the meadow. Catching a scent, Edward froze, tensing all of a sudden. It wasn't anyone he recognized but it sure as hell was a vampire. Moving from his relaxed stance, Edward crouched low and waited to see if the rouge would reveal themselves. Whoever it was, they were too far for him to listen into their thoughts.

Meisha watched everyone swinging and sliding down slides at a small park near Forks, Washington. Although not a child, she found herself at parks often. She enjoyed the free-spirited feel and the fun it held whether it be her playing or children playing. It was always a stress free environment. Besides, being homeless made her the outdoors type anyway. She enjoyed sports like basketball and baseball as well as playing with kids. After a few hours of sitting around she decided to leave the park and onto something new...Forks. She had been here quiet a few times and really liked the quiet...However, she didn't like that there wasn't much to do.
Meisha skipped quietly into Forks forest. Not really knowing why, she just felt like coming in and besides...she was hungry. Her throat was inching for blood and she didn't feel like cornering a human. Smiling, she took of running sniffing for a deer to suck dry. It wasn't long before one popped up! It wasn't deer season so many of them had been running around and easy to find. This one was alone which puzzled her. Usually, the stay in twos or threes...or even packs...but this one was a loner. The vampire jumped up into the trees swiftly to sneak up on it...When she was on a branch right above the female she dropped down and landed on her back. It tried taking off but Meisha already had her teeth sunk into its neck. When she was done, she stood and walked off.
Now full, happy, and relaxed she found an area full of pretty flowers and the sun peeking through the gray clouds. She smiled standing in the middle of it, taking in it's beauty. It wasn't long, though, before she lost her attention and started day dreaming of England. She did miss living there.
With a sigh, she took off skipping higher and further into the depths of the forest. She loved the outdoors and here is just so peaceful! She giggle daydreaming again... In this day dream mode she paid no mind to where she was heading causing her to run straight into a tree. She backed away from it and gave it a funny look, then giggled at herself. Vampires are usually so well at being graceful, however, leave it up to Meisha to find some kind of loop hole.
A vampire scent filled her nose. One was right there in this meadow. The other, of course, saw her run into the tree, but it didn't embarrass her; if anything she hoped he would get a laugh out of it. "Hi!" She said smiling to the tensed male. "Who are you? I'm Meisha! I've only met one other of our kind and he was really nice. Are you nice too? How exciting!"

Edward watched carefully from the long grass. Finally he saw her. She was blond, not much taller then Bella, and a bit...well...odd. She was obviously in a world of her own, confirmed by her thoughts. Trying not to laugh out loud as he watched obliviously waltz straight into a tree, Edward shook his head. She was no ordinary vampire, either that or she was still young. No normal vampire would walk head first into a tree, even if they were lost in thought. But hey, she'd probably done more damage to the tree then it had done to her. She'd seen him. Her thoughts changed from her day dream into a more embarrassed feeling, she knew he'd have seen her accident, she knew he'd be laughing.
Straightening it posture, though still tense, Edward watched her move out from the trees, calling over to him in a most unusal manner. This isn't usually how strange vampires meet, infact they usual have to figure out if it is safe or not before showing themselves. Edward knew he had an upper hand in most cases, being able to read their minds did make it easier when judging their character. But she was an alone female, and had no idea who he was or what he was capable of. Had she even checked to make sure the coast was clear of humans before stepping out. Sure he knew it was, but this excitable youngster was completely different to him.
Slowly he took a couple of steps towards her, not getting too close. He could see in her mind she meant no harm, but Edward knew not to under estimate any new vampires. Her temper could change ever so suddenly. Rosalie's had been hard to rein in when she was young, mind you...it still was every now and then. Though having Emmett around made things a lot easier. "The names Edward Cullen, I live near by with my family. We retain a permenant residence here." He tried to sound a little nicer, not so forced or tense as he felt, but his instincts made it quite difficult. "I guess you could say I'm nice, but you need to learn to be wary of strange vampires, we aren't all like you or me," Edward grinned, so she had only met one other vampire...that explained a lot. "What's your name? And where abouts have you come from? We only usually get the nomads passing through...of course most know not to hunt people in this area..." he explained, sinking back down into the grass and relaxing again. She was completely harmless, and lonely it seemed...like him.

Meisha watched his movements. He still seemed tensed which made her think he was upset about something, that or he wasn't in the mood for company. Maybe calling on a human would make him feel better! She has seen one the other day who had nothing going for his life so why not? Although, she had no idea where he currently was; which made it impossible for her to make him appear. Unless she had guessed really good, nothing would show up. One thing stumbling her though, was the fact his eyes weren't red and he didn't seem to have the smell of human blood in him. She wondered if it were possible to live just off animals blood. Deciding she better not find a meal for him until she better knew him, she answered back.
"Oh, I'm Meisha Midton! Well, that's the name I choose. I don't know who I am..." It was all truth. Meisha hadn't memory of her human life, in fact, for the first year or two she thought angles sent her to Earth. It wasn't until she met Micheal who taught her otherwise. "Nomads?" She blinked. "I'm from Florida. Apparently I have a British accent...according to many people... so maybe I'm really from England." She nodded happily, playing with her waist length hair. Edward was a lot taller than she was. Being four foot'nine could be such a burden sometimes, but she was getting used to her height.
"Why should I be wary of others?" She didn't understand why he would say that. To her, if no one is being a bother then there wouldn't and shouldn't be any harm or discomfort. She didn't know what she would do if harm came to her. Most likely summon a bear and take off in sight of some humans. She remembered that Micheal said humans can't know about the supernatural or some gang would hurt them. So using an angry bear would by her time to run for safety. Tearing her thoughts back to reality, she focused on the other vampire again.
She giggled. "So, you have a family? Most be nice! Are they all like you?" Meisha smiled brightly at him, wanting to know more.
notes; haha, yay! She'll most likely keep him wondering or interested in the personality she has (:

Edward looked at the girl, a little perplexed. She'd explained her name was Meisha Midton, but that she'd chosen her name.He frowned for a moment, this had happened only once before...or that he knew of. Alice had only really just learnt her full name, before then all she knew was Alice. It was clear some of their kind lost their human memory altogether. In that sense, Edward was lucky. He'd always remembered his human life, though the memories were dull and fading slowly. "Well...it's nice to meet you Meisha," he replied, smiling a little. She was slightly confused but more so, it seemed, lost in her own little world.
He shook his head slightly. "An explaination for another day maybe," he grinned. She needed to understand sneaking up on a vampire that way wasn't the best approach, unless you were looking for a fight as something to do. "Well you do have a British accent..." he stated, they were rather distinguishable. "How ever did you get to Flordia? Or was that lost too?" he asked curiously. She might do well to meet with his family, she was on her own it seemed, and a little less knowlegable then he was comfortable with. If the Volturi caught wind of this it wouldn't turn out pretty that was for sure.
"Um...well," Edward thought carefully, "sneaking up on another vampire, one you don't know especially, can be dangerous. Unless...you were looking for a fight in which case I must apologize." He grinned at her, wondering if she'd pick up on his joke...though he wasn't very good at telling them. He watched Meisha carefully as she seemed to slip again into her thoughts, curious he listened in. "You could summon a bear?" he asked all of a sudden, forgetting for just a moment she wouldn't understand how he'd have known that.
"Uh, yeah they're alright, though getting time alone can be difficult," he admitted, especially with his ability. Right now they were trying to stay out of his head, but honestly they weren't doing the best job of it. It had just gotten too much for one day, being out in the meadow was just perfect, no one and nothing for miles. "I'm sure they'd be most interested to meet you..." Edward said brightly, knowing Alice especially would like a distraction...someone who wasn't Edward or Bella.
