~~~~~~~~~~Logan doodled in the margin of her notebook. It was the first day in the new high school and she was already bored. She was a sophomore in a junior English class. She had made that request to the matron of the orphanage after her last high schools English class had bored her. Hoping the class would pick up more as the year went on, she started to jot down the notes the teacher had written on the board. When the bell rang at the end of class she scooped up her bag and dropped her notebook and pen in as she walked to the door. Logan made her way through the hallways to the cafeteria. Pausing for a moment in the doorway she glanced around. It was easy to see the ‘clicks’ of the school. Typical high school. School had been in session for about four months now and she was just coming in. Groups of friends had already been made and as a newcomer she was an outcast. Spotting an empty table, she made her way to it and dropped her bag on it. Dropping into one of the chairs she propped her feet up on one of the other chairs and continued to look around and observe the other kids. Her hand snaked over to her bag and she snatched out a bag of chips and started munching them. “Hey.” Blinking at the sound of a voice talking to her, Logan looked up to see a senior standing over her. The one of the girls standing behind the older girl kicked the chair out from under Logan’s feet. “This is our table.” The senior growled at her. Logan blinked innocently, “Really?” she glanced around the table. “I don’t see any names on it.” She responded with a smirk. She brought her gaze back around to stare sweetly up at the senior. “If you don’t mind, I’d like to eat in peace.” Logan hooked the toe of her boot around the leg of the chair that had been kicked away from her and pulled it back to her, putting her feet up again. Crunching another chip she cast a glance at the senior who stood over her, looking ready to beat her down. The senior growled at her and made a fist, getting ready to hit Logan before one of her lackey’s touched her arm and nodded towards the door. One of the teachers had caught sight of them and was watching them carefully. “You’ll regret this…” the older girl growled at Logan as she stalked off. Logan laughed out loud and went back to munching her chips. First day of school and she was already making enemies and starting fights. She grinned wondering what would happen back at the orphanage once she did get in a fight.
Run, run, run, Alexia cheered in her head as a member of her team dodged yet another ball. Zack was the best at dodgeball and she knew she would win with him on her side. The gym was humid and reeked of smelly teenage boy, but that didn't matter. What mattered was that, THEY WON! Alexia loved gym, always had, growing up with as many brothers as she had made her a little competitive. The whistle blew and everyone began heading back to the locker rooms, nothing prepares you for lunch like running around the gym for an hour.
Alexia exited the locker room as the bell rang, spraying a mist of her perfume across her body. She loved gym, that much was true, but she didn't like smelling like it. Her friend stalked closely by her, and the two chatted to one another. Angel, her friend walked with her to the lunch room and whether or not she planned to sit by her was unknown. Most of Alexia's friends knew better than to expect to see her at their particular table on any given day, she spent her time swapping tables during the week. Having a lot of friends meant hanging out with a lot of friends. Alexia grabbed an apple snapple, hey that rhymed! And her usual cup of pudding.
"Hey, " Alexia nodded toward the altercation going on between a younger looking girl who she had never seen, wow how often could she say that?, and a girl she had known her whole life. " I think I'll sit with her today, you coming? " She asked looking at her friend. Angel shook her head and gestured toward her new boyfriend Scott. Ugh, those two were love sick puppies. Carrying her pudding cup and snapple she waltzed right over to the new girls table, passing by the upset senior on her way. The girl gave her a slight glare, but Alexia didn't care. " Like, omigah this is my table too, " Alexia joked putting her items down and sitting in an empty chair. She hated when people were rude to new-comers, especially when the rude person was a senior. Hello! They are practically adults and yet, they still act like children. " I'm Alexia, " she smiled at the girl, prying her snapple open and taking a quick sip. " Now you know me, who are you missy? I've never seen you around here before. " [/blockquote]
~~~~~~~~~~Blinking Logan looked up to the new girl that took a seat at her table. One thing about being in school that she didn’t enjoy much was she couldn’t tell when someone was coming near her with the intent of sticking around. Too many scents and sounds and they over whelmed her nose and ears. Logan laughed a bit at her joke about the table. Sitting up she waved at her. “I’m Logan and yea…I’m new. But that’s nothing new to me. Though around here it seems to be a big deal? People keep looking at me.” She said, not really caring that people were staring at her. She was used to it after all this was her 6th first day of high school. Brushing her blonde bangs away from her left eye she looked the girl over. She was pretty, older than her but that never bothered Logan. She pegged her as a senior. And she was human, that she was sure of. Things in this town were weird she had come into it and expected only human but so many other scents had hit her. Tilting her head she blinked and wondered if this girl knew about any of the mysteries that surrounded her. “So…How long have you lived here? And what’s the deal with this place? Is it ever sunny here?” She asked. It wasn’t in Logan’s nature to be shy. She was outgoing and bold. It usually ended up getting her a few great friends and plenty of enemies. The girl in front of her seemed to be just the kind of friend Logan wanted to have. She had seen her walk into the cafeteria and many of the tables had sent waves in her direction. She didn’t hang with just one crowd which was how Logan was. Logan also was very apt to standing up for anyone she saw getting picked on. A rare thing in a teenager but she had been put through too much in her early years to stand by. Outfit: Top & Hair Also wearing black cargo pants and black combat boots with hot pink laces

Alexia rolled her eyes in agreement as the girl, Logan, spoke about people in this school and their staring problems. That was the one thing Alexia loved and hated about small towns, it was nice to know everyone but if someone new came into town they were treated like an outsider. Like they weren't part of the "group". Disturbing. "I know, " Alexia said casting her gaze around the cafeteria, most people stared but some paid no attention. The Cullen's being one of those people, they never seemed to care about other peoples business, aside from when the last new girl showed up. Bella. " People act like your some kind of animal in a zoo, " She added looking back at the girl and giving her a smile. " Your a new unheard of species and they're all wondering if your poisonous. " Although the stares irritated Alexia slightly, she knew that she was not entirely free of sin. She usually made friends with the new people, but she played part in the staring game. Especially when Emmett Cullen showed up, ugh was he gorgeous. Hell, weren't they all gorgeous. This girl was no different, something new, something strange, something fascinating. " I've lived here forever, so I'm used to these crazy people, " She joked lightly. " Do you move a lot or something? Like, whats up with that stuff? And no, the sun never shines here. We're in vampire-ville USA. " Alexia joked, not knowing the truthfulness of her own words. " The sun never shines and we're all a bunch of pail kids. Are you from Washington originally? " Alexia pondered. She popped the top on her pudding and scooped a little bit out with her finger, licking it off. She had forgot to grab a spoon but who needs spoons anyway, right? Alexia chuckled lightly realizing the girl also had food, " Wow we eat super healthy around here, huh? " She lifted her pudding cup with a smile. Outfit// CLICK[/blockquote]

~~~~~~~~~~Logan watched Alexia’s gaze and followed it around the cafeteria. Her eyes stopped on the group that she assumed was the Cullen’s. Looking back to her as she spoke, Logan couldn’t help but laugh. She had no idea how much her comment about being an animal related to her. She grinned at her and nodded. “This is my 6th first day. The others were all in bigger schools. So this is the first I’ve been noticed this much.” She paused thinking about that statement. “Well….at least the most attention I’ve gotten on the first day of school.” She laughed lightly at the fact and munched her chips. Logan smiled at the comment about the people being crazy and shrugged at her next question. “Honestly, I’m an orphan. Never knew my dad and my mom got sick when I was little. I kept getting into fights so they kept sending me to different schools hoping I’d stop.” She shrugged again. “I just stuck up for my foster siblings and most people I saw getting picked on. I hate people who pick on others who can’t defend themselves.” Her eyes flashed a light gray for just a moment as her anger flared up. Taking a deep breath she shook her head and smiled again at Alexia. “Vampire ville huh?” She laughed with her at the joke but her eyes swung around to the Cullen’s again. Something was off about them. Blinking she focused on them and them alone, tuning out the rest of the cafeteria. Nothing. She heard nothing from them and she knew. Looking back to Alexia she laughed and held up her arm. “I guess I’ll fit right in there.” She grinned at her. “I’m from sunny California. Santa Cruz to be exact. Never did tan though.” She shrugged. She had never cared for tanning anyway. Grinning at her again she held up a chip to her pudding cup. “Total health nuts for sure!” She laughed and munched the chip. First day and she had a friend and an enemy. Great start to the year. Glancing at the clock she realized they only had a little bit of time left before the bell would ring and send them off to their next class. “Hey. Are you doing anything after school?” She asked randomly.
"Thats crazy, " Alexia said her eyes widened as she said her sixth first day. She couldn't imagine it, she mentally could not bring herself to do it. Ever since birth Alexia and her family had lived in the same home, on the same street, in the same town, forever. " I could never imagine leaving this town, let alone the state! Well, at least not for good. I want to see California one day though, " Alexia shrugged, she was like most teenage girls, they wanted to got to Cali, play in the waves, soak up the sun, and pray to GOD they see Johnny Depp. Alexia had this weird feeling that they were being listened to, or being watched ever since she said the comment about being in vampire-ville. She distracted her mind from the thought, licking off another dip of pudding from her finger. " That's gotta blow, does your foster family move around or are you just changing families? My friend Amanda was in foster care and they kept switching families for her, they 'couldn't handle her' " Alexia mimicked a deep voice and quoted the air as she spoke. " I think its cool that you stick up for your family, my family is the same way. We're the big ol' Italian family, ya know, ain't no body mess with us, " Alexia laughed as she tried to impersonate her fathers accent, which was very Italian sounding. He said it brings in more customers at Bella Italia because it makes the food seem more authentic. " Yay! You're pale like the rest of us, welcome to Forks, home of the vampires! " She joked lightly. Her skin was only slightly tanner than the girls, and to someone from a sunny state she would seem pale but here she looked oddly colorful. Part of her genetics. " After school, hmmm, " Alexia pretended to ponder. " Well lets see, I have to fight crime, teach a cat how to use an iron and reprogram my robotic house maid. Other than that, I'm free, " Alexia let out a small laugh and took another sip of the snapple. She had a feeling her and this girl would be good friends.[/blockquote]
~~~~~~~~~~She shrugged. She loved going to all the different schools. She got to meet lots of different people. Meeting people was something she liked. She laughed as Alexia talked about wanting to see California. “Well I’ll go with you to Cali if you go. I’ve got some friends I’d like to see again. And I know all the good beaches.” She grinned at her before she dug in her bag and pulled out her water bottle. She was taking a drink as Alexia asked about her situation. “Well I guess I’m like your friend. I kept getting put in foster homes in Cali. The parents thought they could fix me, get me to stop fighting and all. Never worked. I think that agency got tired of me cause next thing I know they put me on a train and sent me up here. I think they’re hoping that getting me out of the sun will dampen my mood.” She laughed loudly at that thought. It would take a hell of a lot to get her to stop fighting and dampen her mood. “At the moment actually I’m not in any foster homes. I’m staying at this big old house in the forest. The woman that runs the orphanage here owns it. She mostly has younger kids there. I don’t mind though. They’re fun to play with.” She may have been a teenage but she truly was a kid at heart. Logan smiled at her as she talked about her big Italian family. She had been in foster care with a few large families before. In fact she had been in one of them when all hell broke loose in her life. She frowned for a moment thing about it but quickly put a smile back on. She truly wasn’t that bothered by everything that had happened. She laughed with Alexia as she tried to impersonate her father’s voice. And she continued grinning as Alexia welcomed her to town. Logan couldn’t help but laugh as the girl listed off the things she had to do after school. “Well…Once you finish all that you think you’d wanna hang out? Maybe you can show me all the good places to hang out.” She grinned at her. She was defiantly going to have a good rest of the school year with this girl as her friend.

The thought of going to Cali gave Alexia mixed emotions. All her life she wanted to travel and the only place she had ever been that was far away was Seattle. The only reason for that "long" trip was to visit her brother his first year of college, and after that they never went back. Her father never liked to leave town, he always said home is where your heart is and you should never leave your heart. She thinks her father has a fear of moving, which is why he had not moved from Forks since his family first arrived here from Italy.
That was not Alexia, she wanted to see the world! A bright smile appeared on her face as the girl spoke about the beaches there, she wondered to herself if the water looked any different. "Sometimes this weather can make you crazy, " Alexia commented pushing her snapple back and forth between her hands. "You wake up and you see a light outside your window and your like 'YAY! It's sunny!' and then you realize its a street light or something. Which happens to me all the freakin time, " Alexia laughed at this, it actually did happen quite a bit. She loved the sunny days and rarely went to school when the bright ball in the sky reared its head. "Aww, I love little kids. They are so amusing! Makes you wanna cuddle them to death! "
The clocked seemed like it was in warp speed, their lunch break was almost over. Alexia hoped the rest of her day would go as fast, she hated her next class. Calculus, pfft, who needs it. "Sure, " Alexia chirped excitedly. She loved hanging out with new people, and this girl was especially cool because she was a rebel child. " I know all the cool spots and maybe I can even show you my beach. " She chuckled referring back to how the girl offered to show her beaches. Though it wasn't Alexia's beach, she found herself at first beach in La Push all the time. She loved being near her native friends. Especially because they were cute! " Do you want me number so you can text me whenever you want to hang? " She questioned, taking out her phone and hiding it under the table. The rules were that phones weren't allowed in school, but who didn't have one?![/blockquote]

~~~~~~~~~~Watching the girls face Logan was glad to see her smile as she talked about going to Cali with her. She tilted her head as she listened to her talk about the weather and the tricks it played on the mind. Glancing out the window of the cafeteria Logan could imagine it. She made a face thinking about it happening to her. She wasn’t going to enjoy that part of going crazy. A grin spread over her face as Alexia talked about loving little kids. At least she wasn’t alone. Maybe Alexia could help her babysit some of them one night when the old lady wanted some time out of the house. It was something she would ask Alexia about doing later, after she met the troop of kids Logan lived with. Logan let out a breath she hadn’t realized she was holding. What reason had she given the girl not to want to hang out with her? Fearing she wouldn’t was something silly. Laughing Logan nodded. “I’d like that. Though I don’t think they’re anything like Cali beaches. The beach is an awesome place…as long as you have friends to go with.” She commented. The beach alone was boring unless you had thinking to do. And for her thinking, Logan preferred being a small furry cat and being deep in the woods. Nodding she twisted the cap back on her water and slid it into her bag, pulling her phone out and slipping it under the table. She grinned as she watched the girl do the same. Knowing exactly what to push, Logan opened the menu on her phone and hit the add new contact button and typed in Alexia all without looking. “Ok…What’s your number? And then I’ll text you so you have mine.”
