Completely detesting the orders she had been given to roam about the annoying, human-filled streets of Seattle, she walked with a sour expression through the mist-cover streets. Beneath the pale moon light, each footstep she took caused her anger to grow. How could someone who was supposed to be so intelligent and wise send her into a moot point on the earth? Nothing was happening, especially anything of which caused concern to Jane. Her angelic face had been nearly ruined by the disgusting taste upon her tongue, continuing to cause the most pressure she had ever felt between her eyes. Her head shook from side to side as her hungry eyes glanced over the scenery; she was hungry, but would not kill until she was handed the order. But what if I did? The thought danced upon her mind, with the devil's laugh and trickery swaying alongside it. What if I completely disobeyed him and killed this entire, useless town? Or perhaps even the entire earth. Humans only exist as my food, my ecstasy... If I did, on one hand, kill them I would in search for a new food source, of which would not satisfy my cravings. On the other hand, As her thoughts continued to twist and run wild and free, her sour look turned into a maniacal grin, in a rather large display of joy. I would not have to deal with these pathetic creatures, much less the orders I am given to... survey them.
The tiny, hooded, child-like vampire continued to walk slowly, listening intently for any sound made around her. Her own footsteps made no sound, and were as light and delicate as they could be. The corners of her pale lips cracked up her cheeks as she continued her span of treacherous, torturous ideas. She had encountered no humans, much less any animals or other creatures and for this she was nearly happy. There had been nothing to interrupt her pointless survey of the Washington city.
But quickly did her head snap across the street as she heard approaching footsteps. Her grin fell from her lips and her eyes turned a very dark red color, and what would have been her muscles at one point of her life tightened, readying herself for any attack. She would be ready to kill, only after inflicting the most terrifying of pains upon whoever the person was, disabling them- immobilizing them and torturing them before she put them out of their misery. She thirsted for blood; she thirsted for a kill. And by all means she would make sure it was justified, and if she had to forge a truth, she would certainly not regret it or even allow it to weigh her down. She remained silent and still, menacing and eager at the same time. The Volturi member refused to speak; she refused to let her presence be known. Cloaked in black, she would be harder to spot against the silhouette of the shadows cast by the buildings. Her eyes continued to scan the scene for closer movement.
