Dance Lessons and the Deceleration of War spin, spin, spin, spin. stop. spin, spin, spin, spin. stop. repeat.
Meisha spun the chains of the swing set then let it go so she could spin in circles. After doing this quiet a few times she stood up and walked the parks sidewalks. Today had been so boring, she had been trying just about anything to amuse herself. This included doing some pretty dangerous things. Spinning the swings was not nearly as bad as what she was doing. Earlier, she took a trip to the forest and jumped out of trees at different heights around 200, 300 feet in the air. She even tried jumping from one tree to the other at different speeds. After that she rolled down a hill and straight into the lake. Although not much harm come to a vampire, so to her none of these things were dangerous.
Sighing, Meisha laid on her back, lifted her knees up, and watched the clouds go by. She was starting to settle herself down now, only, she really didn't want to. She wanted to do something else. But what? With a small 'ugh' she stood up to sit back on the swings. She swung her legs back and forth until she got as high as the swing would let her then took in a deep breath, went back on last time, and on her way back she slid off her swing and straight into the air. Adrenaline ran from her head to her stomach and back to her head and then through her whole body! She landed on her feet and hands in a crouched position.
Chuckling at herself, she took off running to the forest. Her hunger was starting to burn at her throat and she was in the mood for animal. She had run pretty deep into the forest before the scent of human reached her nose. Curious, she .followed it until a girl come into view. "Hello." She said day dreamy like. "You're out here pretty far" Her British accent rolled of her tongue. Her eyes blinked softly wondering why a young human would be out so deep in the forest, it wasn't a common thing to be alone. This person though, wasn't in the least bit interested in talking to her so she went ahead and drained her blood. She did prefer human over anything else.
Now fully satisfied she ran back to the park and was heading for the swings. She stopped running though when she realized she wasn't alone anymore.

Sean had taken the bus into Port Angeles early that morning. He had spent the better part of the morning wandering around the city trying to find the theater he was looking for. Backstage he was great and knew just where to be, in the real world he often got lost. As he was now. Dusk had settled over the city and the sun was fading behind buildings. Sean found himself in an empty park. Sighing he went over to the play structure and climbed up to the top of it. He pulled himself up onto the bar above the slide. Sitting there he sighed and watched the sun set into horizon. Hearing footsteps he glanced down and saw a blonde haired girl run over towards the swings before she stopped. He blinked and watched her, wondering what had stopped her from going to the swings.
Swinging his legs back over to the landing in front of the slide he slid off and went to the railing. “Hey. Everything ok?”
He called softly to her. He was the type of person that would make sure someone else was ok before he worried about himself. Most people saw him and instantly deemed him emo because of his clothing. At that moment he happened to be dressed in worn black jeans, a black tee shirt with a black dress shirt over it. The dress shirt was unbuttoned. His feet were cloaked in black steel-toed boots. He could actually walk very quietly in them, barely making a sound. It came with his passion. He was often invisible to people, it was the way he liked it.

Dance Lessons and the Deceleration of War Meisha looked at the teenager with a dreamy facial expression. He had a unique sense of clothing style which she had only seen a select few people have. She liked it because of the difference it held and often wondered why it wasn't more popular! She wouldn't dress herself in that fashion merely because she had her own sense of style. All to his or her own though. “Hey. Everything ok?” She watched him carefuly. His movements seemed distant mannered, however, careful and calm. She gave him a wide excited smile letting him know she was just fine. "Yeah!" She pipped in with her usual happy tone.
She looked over to the swings again the back at him. "My name's Meisha. I'm from London... You want to swing?" She asked him then took off toward the swings again. She was a playful person in nature, and she loved meeting new people. She sat down on one, however, didn't start swinging yet... She waited to see if he would join her in a little swing 'n' talk before doing so. She kept the same happy, calm facial expression she had before to make sure he knew she was fine. Her red eyes blinked softly, remembering she had to act human around humans. It wasn't that hard to do so though, just move the chest and blink...not much of a challenge.

He smiled back at her as she shouted up to him in a happy tone. “My name’s Meisha. I’m from London. You want to swing?” He laughed and nodded, not sure if she would see it in the dark he called down to her too. “Sure Meisha.”
He went down the steps of the structure, jumping off the last step. He walked across the shredded tire that covered the ground. It was there to protect kids if they fell. He was just glad it wasn’t sand. Hopping onto the swing next to her, he smiled at her. “Hi there. I’m Sean. I’m from New Jersey. Not as cool as London. Sorry.” He said making a face and shrugging. He loved where he was from; it was just a boring place. Kicking off the ground he started to kick his legs back and forth slowly, not going very high on the swing, his feet still grazed the ground. “So what brought you from London to the west coast of the US?” He asked looking over at her. He took in her outfit and wondered how she could be out in those clothes in the cold of the night. “You know I’ve always wanted to go to London.” He laughed a little at the thought. He wanted to go see the old playhouses there but he knew it was just a dream. He would never be able to afford the trip there. He only skimmed by with paying all of his bills. Looking back at her he noticed her red eyes and grinned. “Cool eyes.” He commented. He had no idea they were real and simply thought they were color contacts. Many of the actors he’d worked with wore them for some plays.

Dance Lessons and the Deceleration of War “Hi there. I’m Sean. I’m from New Jersey. Not as cool as London. Sorry.” Her smile widened when he had come over. She began swinging as well, keeping the same height as him so it would be easier to talk. "Nice to meet you, Sean! I decided to come here for awhile to look for adventure." She nodded lightly looking from him to back infront of her. She missed London and hoped to one day return there. She didn't have plans on life and had been homeless for as long as she can remember, so in honesty she could be anywhere and be okay with it. She has grown accustom to living in different environments and dealing with many situations.
"I've never been to New Jersey before." She added nodding. "I've been to Florida and in Washington. I think I'll go to California next but I don't know. It's hot there." Meisha had began rambling, but she never noticed until she's completely finished talking. "Do you like it here? I do." She giggled lightly at his compliment. That was a first! Usually, people started off with questions about it and stared at her eyes.. "Thank you." She said sweetly looking back over to him. Which reminded her, he smelled really sweet. But she had just ate so no reason to go and kill him. Besides, so far he seems pretty cool and she doesn't like eating friends. Obviously, Meisha wanted to friend this human.

Sean laughed. He liked this girl. She wasn’t shy and she seemed as random as him. “Well….did you find any adventure?”
He asked kicking his feet and going higher. He turned from her and stared at the sky as stars started to twinkle out. He loved the night. He always before better in it. He shrugged, talking to her but not looking at her. “New Jersey’s not that great.” He shook his head. “Pretty boring. I’ve heard California’s great. I agree that it’d be too hot though. I’m not a face of hot. Then again I’m not a fan of the snow either. But I like cold.” He nodded as he thought about it. He couldn’t disappear in snow. “Too white.” He said randomly. “Hmmmm…It’s nice here. I’m not a fan of the sun. It’s too bright.” He said glancing at her. He grinned as she thanked him for the comment on her eyes. Something told him it wasn’t something she heard often. “So Meisha…What do you like to do for fun?” He was having fun talking with this girl. He totally forgot the fact that he was lost and had no idea how to get back to his apartment. “Do you like the night Meisha? ” He asked randomly. “I love it. It’s so much more peaceful in the dark. People aren’t rushing all over and being so rude to one another.” He looked at her as he swung and gave her a soft smile before leaning his head back as he swung back and forth. The cool night air rushed over him and he breathed it in gratefully.

The more Sean talked the more Meisha liked him. He didn't seem to mind her rambling or her talkative nature. He, himself, was pretty talkative as well which made it that more easier speaking to him and holding a conversation. Although, Meisha never had a hard time keeping up a conversation because of her mind racing twenty-four even about anything and everything going on. “I love it. It’s so much more peaceful in the dark. People aren’t rushing all over and being so rude to one another.” She swung her legs higher so she could feel the wind on her face. "I agree, hot weather is only good for swimming!" Or so the humans say. She didn't care if the water was half frozen, she'd still get in it.
"I like the night too. It's so quiet, and I like looking at all the stars. It's hard to believe their really huge when we see them as dots." She giggled thinking about her dream of going into space. It would never happen unless she stowed away on a space shuttle. And she knew she would do that if given the chance. She didn't need to breath so that wouldn't be an issue. The only thing questioning her mind is the pressure and how it would affect her. "What do I like to do for fun? Parks." She grinned and stopped swinging her legs. "I'm the outdoors type which, I guess, is odd because I don't like the hot. I enjoy volleyball and basketball. Sports are really fun. And I like to dance! Skipping... Oh and talking! Drawing is fun... Watching the sun rise and fall is fun and pretty. I like learning as well...I've never been to school..." She started swinging her legs again to feel to chilled air blow her waist length hair back. "What about you?"

He was still staring at the sky as she spoke. He laughed as she talked about only using the heat to go swimming. He didn’t even like swimming. The only time he willingly got wet was in the shower and in the rain. For some reason he loved the rain. As she talked about the stars he slowed down his swinging thinking about it. “It is hard to believe. Hey. Did you know that a lot of the stars we see are actually gone already by the time we see them?” He laughed thinking about. Space was so vast and there were so many things out there. He wasn’t one of those nuts that were crazy about finding an alien race but he often wondered if there were other things out there. He had often wondered if humans really were the highest predator out there. There were many people he had met that made him doubt they were the highest on the food chain. He had no idea that he was swinging in the park with one of those that he often wondered about. And would he ever know? Well that was up to fate.
He looked at her and smiled as she talking about the things she liked. “Sounds like you stay active. I’m not really a fan of sports but I do love being outdoors. Usually I’m always alone when I am. It’s nice to be able to share the night with someone. Dancing can be fun I guess. I’ve never been good at it.” He shrugged. “You never went to school?” He asked as he watched her swing. He had loved school. Maybe if they stayed friends past that night he could teach her some things. He did work in the high school after all. “I can teach you about things I know….if you’d like. I graduated high school about 2 years ago.” He smiled at her.
“What do I like to do for fun? Umm….Well…” He paused and looked back to the sky for a moment before looking at her again. “Well I love the theater. I work backstage and help with building the sets and making sure the play runs smoothly. You know without me and others like me. Actors would not be so great. Umm…like I said..I like to be outside. I live in Forks actually. The forest is all around us there so I like to go out and walk around on my own. Sometimes I’ll take a book out there to read. I love reading. Otherwise I pretty much have no life.” He chuckled as his own pathetic life as he watched her swing. Glad to see she was having fun and he wasn’t boring her or anything; or so he hoped he wasn’t.
