Tanya was in Forks, alone. She had left her coven in Alaska for a few days to get her mind on track, and it didn't seem to be happening. She had just encountered a meeting with Edward, of whom had become a Volturi and was married to someone other than Bella. The reason Tanya was so upset with it was the fact that she knew how powerful Bella and Edward's love was for each other. She also knew that if she had someone who loved her that much, she would want that person beside her. Of course, she didn't, though. She had no one. This was a fact she had come accustomed to. Tanya had become completely knowledgeable of her lack of love, and that it wasn't meant for her. It was fine, of course. She would just be a lonely leader.
And with that, Tanya knew her search and business in Forks was over. She was purely just visiting now, and would shortly return home to Denali, Alaska to her coven. She liked the sound of that. She ran quickly between the trees until she got to the start of the entrance to the road that led up to the Cullen home. Tanya stopped briefly for a moment, looking around her. The trees were beautiful with their great, big leaves and variety of colors. Smiling to herself, she continued to run. Her blond waves flushed over her bare shoulders as she ran, her shirt flowing backward. She nipped at her lower lip out of boredom, then finally reached the house.
Their house was always something to admire. The glass walls were absolutely superb, and went well with the wood of the house. She hopped up the steps and gently knocked on the door, taking a step back from the door and waiting for someone to come answer it. She wasn't sure who would be home at that hour, but was sure that someone would be.

Carlisle grabbed his sports jacket and headed out of the house. Having not expected anyone to be on the other side of the door, to say he was shocked when he ran into Tanya was an understatement. To keep her on her feeting, he reached out swiftly to take ahold of her arms and hold her steady. Otherwise she would of fallen for sure.
After a few blinks, he realized he was looking at Tanya and smiled. What a pleasant surpise it was to see his long time distant friend. " Tanya? Nice to see you! What are you doing here?" He looked at her a few seconds then glanced past her. He was heading out for a walk, possibly to hunt.
His attention swung back to her and he smiled warmly. " Im heading into the forest. Would you like to come with me?" In his voice there was the slightest tone that he would like her to come and that he needed someone to talk to, that was aside from his family and a friend to him. He shut the door and stepped to the side and awaited her response.
