What do you do when your whole world has fallen down around you? You ran. Find a safe place and hunker down. Sira was on the run. No one had expected that attack. Now, she was the soul survivor on the family, barring her brother. The same brother who had been banished months before. It turned out that the family that he had kept them from eating had went and told the government about what happened. The government then hunted them down. Sira barely made it out alive. She spent days in a shack in the woods miles away healing her wounds trying to get in good enough shape to track down Martyn.
Sira had never lived on her own. She didn't know the first thing about it. But it turned out that her family had quite a bit of money saved up and now as a soul heir, it was all hers. She hadn't used much of it. SHe had only bought a fresh set of clothes. The ones she wore now. Even though she would rather wear a dress, she had on torn jeans and a tee that made her seem younger than she really was. She slept outdoors, never going into town. She was scared.
It had taken weeks. But finally, Sira was getting close. The scent was growing stronger. It was night when the female weretiger came into town. She had herself a rest before waking up at dawn. Martyn's scent was all over the place. He was here. She was sure. The question was, how would he take her coming back.
Grabbing a quick meal, a drunk laying on a bench, Sira headed into town. SHe walked casually, never making eye contact with anyone. She followed the scent all the way to his door. As she stared at the house, Sira could feel the tears welling up in her eyes. He was the only family she had left. She hoped he wouldn't cast her out. She needed him.
Taking careful, slow steps, Sira approached the door and knocked softly. SHe was crying. Just thinking about what she had endured the last few weeks. She was lucky to be alive. And here she was going to seek refuge with the brother she had attacked before he was cast out. SHe really regretted hurting him. He was like her twin. She was older yes, but they had been so close. Now she could only hope he would let her stay. Outfit: www.polyvore.com/sira_meet_up/set?id=25026053

Martyn has been watching soccer, trying to get caught up on what he had missed while on the run. Soccer was his peace through alot of storms and he even caught himself thinking about how his sister Sira would always be looking at him, watching soccer and just roll her eyes. A Thin smile touched his face but evaporated as the scene of his attack came to mind. She had been the first to attack him. He could count the scars that had been torn into him by the woman who had been his only and best friend all his life. She had hurt him in more then just physical form. Yes it was in him to forgive her, but he didn't even know if his eyes would fall apon her again or even if he wanted to see her. The way things were now he was trying to stay away from that part of his life and trying even harder to keep them from finding him.
Though as he watched the game that was no longer captivating him, now that he had realized his team was loosing, a small knock on the door touched his highly evolved ears. Martyn turned toward the door way and watched it for a moment. Not alot of people knew where he was. He could honestly say only ONE did and that was Naomi, the Weretiger he had met in the forest. Maybe she wants to talk. He didn't know why but he was actually happy to get up and walk to the door. Could it have been that he was actually happy he wasn't the only Tiger around? Yeah probably. The thought was actually one that made him think he had a chance here. He could form his Own Clan and even hold his own as a leader. These were the thoughts that carried him to the door and to open it willingly.
"Whats up Naom...." Yet his voice trailed as he saw the woman standing at his door. Tears streaking down her cheeks and a pathetic painful look across the eyes he had looked in so many times to keep himself strong.
"Sira?!?"

Sira didn't know what she expected to happen. She knew she hoped he would open the door and hug her. She needed a hug. But she also knew he was probably angry at her for attacking him. She didn't know why she did it. She would have never done it on a normal basis. Maybe it was because he stepped between her and a meal. She was always cranky when she got hungry. He knew that. But Sira had no idea exactly why she did it and now she realized that she was stupid to do it in the first place.
When Martyn opened the door, Sira's face dropped. Who was he expecting? "Martyn." She spoke softly. She didn't say it loud and she didn't move. She really wanted to hug him but she didn't know how he would react to it. So there she stood. Waiting for him to make the first move. She could have ran and settled elsewhere instead of coming here. But no, she had decided to come find him. He was all she had. She needed family. She needed help. The wound on her side wasn't completely healed yet. It had closed up but it still hurt. She would have a nasty scar from it. She hated the idea of having a giant scar on her body, but shit happens, right?

Martyn at first had no clue what else to say. She had spoke his name with a hint of pleading. Something was wrong, something had happened. At that moment though he couldn't think straight. All that did come to mind was that his family, or atleast one member, had found him. This scared and angered him. He had finally found away out of they're idiocy and now it had come bak to him.
Yet the pain he saw in his sisters eyes was still something that bothered him. It wasn't something that would be there if she was trying to trick him. No this was pure pain and horror. He moved out of the way to let her in.
"Come on in, then you can tell me what happened." It wasn't cold, the way he talked, it was more of a calm, I-need-to-think tone. He didn't like the fact that he had a small feeling that he might be bating a a trap. Yet at the same time He knew his sister, she would never actually do that to him on purpose. When she had finally walked in he shut the door and fallowed her into his living room, where he turned off his TV and looked at her.
"Whose dead or, whose going to be?"

Sira couldn't tell what was going through his head. She stood there with tears falling down her cheek, her eyeliner and mascara running right down with them. She looked at him, her eyes bearing into his, pleading for his help.
When he invited him into his hom, she bowed her head and walked in, keeping her eyes low as she headed to sit on the far corner of the couch. SHe didn't look up at him. She sat there waiting for him to make the first move.
When those words hit her head, she closed her eyes. "Everyone." She got out before sobs began to wrack her body. "They's all dead. The whole clan. I barely made it out alive." She spoke lifting up her shirt to show him the healing gash on her right side. She lowered her shirt again and looked at him. "That family you let leave, they reported us to the government. The government showed up and started killing us. I am lucky to be alive. You messed up there because your morals got in the way and cost the lives of the whole family. Almost my life as well." She stopped and looked at him.Her tears had stopped falling from her eyes. "I came here hoping for a refuge. Somewhere I can stay until I can get back on my feet. I will leave the moment you tell me I need to and get my own place elsewhere. I just, need a place to sleep." She spoke softly. SHe really was hoping he would let her stay. SHe had no where else to stay, and it would help so much if he allowed it. She was his sister after all. Flesh and blood.

Martyn was held short by Sira's words
"My MORALS!" Yes it was a horrible shock that his family was all dead, including his darling mother. But her words were now what angered him. She had no right to go off on him about his morals when she was willing to eat people who did nothing to them at all.
“I’m sorry if I have issues with you people eating human beings who did nothing to you. If you guys would have heard me from the beginning and actually tried my diet then it would have never gone bad now would it.” The growl in his voice was more then noticeable yet it slowly slid away as he started to let the rest of her words settle in. She needed him right then, she needed a place to stay, even a place to live for the time being. She made it seem like he was going to only let her stay here for a short time. Yeah right.
“There is two empty bedrooms upstairs, pick one. The bathroom is on the left and there is fresh towels in the closet. Take a shower and get dressed then come back down here. You might be the oldest out of us two but this is my place, you’re going to start out by listening to me.” It wasn’t exactly a challenge but he did wonder if she would not like that he was telling her to listen to her YOUNGER brother.

Sira looked at him. Her mouth open with shock. "I was only following orders. Sorry if I would rather not be cast out like a dog who urinated on the couch." Her family was everything to her. But she also knew how to stay in her place. "I had no authority to question anything they ordered. I had no place and neither did you. You were punished for it. I couldn't let myself get cast out too because unlike you, I can't live on my own. I have no idea how to." She explained to him. She wasn't as independent as him. She couldn't survive on her own.
Sira nodded and rose to her feet. "I don't have anything other than what I have. All of the money that the family has is in my possession. So I need to buy some things. But a shower sounds really nice. I haven't had that luxury in a couple of weeks." She spoke before heading upstairs.
The first thing Sira did was look at the two empty rooms. She found one that was in a back corner with two windows. One with a window seat that overlooked the back and into a wooded area, the other looking out the side of the house. This was going to be her room. Then she went and grabbed a towel before going to take a shower. She cleaned off, taking her sweet time absorbing the heat into her skin and enjoying the feel of the water as it slid down her body.
Finishing, Sira got out of the shower and dried off before wrapping in the towel. SHe pulled her hair up into a messy updo just to get it off her skin. She sighed as she looked in the mirror. sHe had a few bruises from the attack marring her perfectly pale skin. On a normal day she looked like a porcelain doll. With a sigh, she pulled the credit card out of her jeans pocket and walked downstairs. "I need clean clothes. It would help me if you could get me some." She wasn't ordering him, no she was asking him. If she had something she would go get something of her own but she only had this towel to keep her covered.

While Sira was in the shower Martyn took a deep breath and let him calm down. He had to regain composure and not do that again. He needed to figure all this out, maybe even make sure everything was covered. If the family went after them, what was stopping them from going at him to? He was a family member and they would want to question him right? No, he couldn’t think about it, if he thought about it he would start to plan and if he planned he would have a cover that would blow his cover here. He needed to act like nothing had changed. He needed to just take a calming breath and hold. A little while later Sira came down in a towel and handed him the credit card, making him laugh.
“Top drawer of the dresser there is some clothes, go look, they might fit you. WE will go to the mall a little later ok?” He had figured that he wouldn’t be in this house alone. Not that he was expecting any one but he wanted to help others so he got bored one day and bought a whole line of clothes for male and females. So it was all set up in one of the extra bedrooms.
“Just take what you need. I got EVERYTHING, a girl needs. Don’t ask, it was awkward shopping for half that stuff. But I got it done. We will get the rest tonight.”

Sira nodded and ascended the stairs once more. She went to the room she had dubbed hers and rifled through the drawers and closet. She finally settled on a white cotton dress and a pair of intricate flats. The dress was snug at the top but draped off her curves and the shoes fit perfectly on her small feet. She went to her possessions and put on the tiger's eye necklace and matching ring with a bracelet she had. It was a set of tiger's eye jewelry she couldn't leave behind. It had been her mother's but had been given to her on her 18th birthday. The set was among her most prized possessions.
She exhaled and went back down the stairs to look at her brother. SHe didn't know what to expect. He obviously expected someone to move in. The room was a little generic though and she knew she needed some feminine touches in there. Some white lace curtains, new bedding, and her some new clothing was among the items she needed to purchase. She wouldn't make him spend his money on her shopping though. sHe had her own now. The family money was hers. No one had known how much it was, but now she did and it was more than anyone ever figured.
Walking back over to the couch, she sat down. "What do I have to listen to you about? Because to be honest, I am not in the mood to be nagged and yelled at or even to be ordered around. I have had one hell of a month tracking you down and escaping the people that turned us into orphans. So sorry if I am a little cranky." She really didn't want to make him angry. It was not in her plans. But he at least needed to know where she stood. outfit: www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=25141661

Martyn looked at his sister and sighed. He didn’t want to ordetr her around but they’re were rules that needed to be put into place, especially if SHE was going to live in this town, or with him.
“This is simple and I sware if you don’t listen to this part I’ll pay back each of these scars.” He scratched his chest to indicate what he ment and looked at her directly in the eyes like his Grandfather did when he was telling the Clan how to make a new next move. The Alpha in him was slowly sarting to take control and he had to admit it, this wasn’t a bad thing. He needed to be what he was but not in the way his grandfather ran things. He was going to not control more but let everyone who ever joined them that HE WAS IN CHARGE and if they had a problem with it then they could try to take it from him.
“You are not aloud to hunt humans here. NOT under any cercumstances, you live here your diet is just as mine, animals.” He had said this smoothly and calmly. Martyn didn’t want Sira thinking he was threatening her even that was what he was really doing. This was not a yes or no, time to vote kind of rule. This was a , you fallow it or die or leave, rule. He wasn’t going to end up having the same thing happen to him that happened to his family. He wanted to live here and maybe make a life, not get chased out by gun fire and go on the run again.

Sira winced as she looked at his scars. Some of those were made by her. She knew that. She also regretted it. Hurting him was one of the biggest mistakes of her life. She knew he could throw it at her at any time. She owed him big time for hurting him like that.
When he told her the rule, her mouth dropped open. Was he serious? Really? Did he expect her not to try to talk him out of it? He was her younger brother and she wasn't going to just let him push her around like a puppy. "That is like telling a steak lover that they have to eat salad for the rest of their lives. Or a meth addict to quit cold turkey." She spoke back. She shook her head softly. "How could you ask me to do that?" She looked at him with big blue eyes. Her eyes had always been a more intense color than a normal person. They were one of her best features.
Sira stood up. "If that is an order, fine, I will TRY. You can't make me swear I won't and not expect me to slip up. It is all I have ever known and the best I can tell you is I will try." She couldn't make any promises. She was so used to the taste and feel of human blood going into her system. Thankfully she had fed before coming in. She had been smart while she had been tracking Martyn. She had been sure to only kill people that were homeless or were sure no one would miss them. She was trying to lay low. She wasn't sure if the government knew what she looked like in human form or not.

“Do you realize whats happening?” Martyn was slightly starting to get ticked. Not because of the fact that she was refusing his order, but because of the fact that she really didn’t seem to understand.
“If you were attacked by government then they arent going to sit down until they KNOW that there is none of our kind left, atleast from our clan. Which means guess what?!? They will come here and talk to me.” Marty had his eyes locked with hers. He had never fwelt such power but he kept it held back. He would never let power take him like it took his grandfather. He wasn’t trying to piss her off, if anything he was trying to protect her from what he knew was coming. If it got bad Martyn would need allies and from what Edward ahad told him his family and the Werewolves around her didn’t like those who attacked humans.
“We need to keep a low profile. I have an idea what he can do, and it means you and I are going to have to go talk to a family of vampires and a pack of wolves. Right now though you need to lay low. I’m not trying to be an ass I’m looking out for whats left of this family. We need to be good here. I know its all you knew but the alternative isn’t as bad as you think.” He walked swiftly into the kitchen and pulled out a chunk of dear meat he had stripped off a body he had eaten and brought home for later.
“Just try it and tell me what you think ok? I’m trying to look out for us and hope that you don’t have to fight anymore.”

Sira looked at him. He was being serious. "I know, I'm in a huge mess. I'm sorry." sHe spoke softly and shifted her eyes down. SHe hadn't meant for any of this. She was only in this mess because of the way her family lived. It wasn't fair. She never asked for any of this. And now she had to convert what she was to suit Martyn, her little brother. This wasn't sitting well with her. She should be telling him what to do, not the other way around. But alas, Sira never was one to order people around. She would never make it as an alpha. That was for sure.
When he handed her the piece of meat, she sniffed it and grimaced. It smelled unappealing. She looked up at him as she held the piece. "I did eat before I came here." sHe spoke before looking back at the meat. She liked her meals fresh, not out of the fridge. "But I guess if it will please you." sHe spoke before taking a small bite out of it. SHe chewed gingerly, a look of disgust on her face. "It tastes absolutely horrid." SHe wanted to spit it out, but didn't just to appease Martyn. She swallowed and held the rest of the meat out to him. "how do you stand it?" She asked him. She would never know how he preferred this to humans. Humans were more juicy and savory. Their skin wasn't as tough and rubbery. The insides were less tough and more tender. This was like eating plastic. Plastic wasn't a good food source. "I'm sorry, I can't there is no way. I swear it makes me want to vomit all over this floor." SHe spoke with a soft tone. SHe wasn't trying to be a bitch, but she was expressing how she felt. She couldn't do that. Couldn't live on something that made her sick just tasting it.

Martyn shook his head and sighed. This was going to be harder then he thought.
“For one, deer isn’t the only animal in those woods, and for two I killed that one two days agao, I also like how cooked venison tastes.” He took what was left of the meat and put it in a freezer bag, deciding he might actually have that or rabbit tonight. He turned back to his sister and rubbed the spot on either side of his nose. He was not at all trying to be anythign but a good brother who wanted to keep them both safe.
“Look, if you kill it will get to the town. This isn’t like Paradise. It wasn’t as small as this town. EVERYONE will know who you are by the end of the week Sira. I’m trying to make sure we do not blow our cover here. Sorry if I keep saying that but….” He sighed again and sat on his couch. Maybe he was being to hard? No, no he w asn’t he needed to keep her from being stupid. He needed to get her to understand how low key they had to be.
“Look, enough of this, lets go to the mall ok?” Martyn stood up and went to get his leather jacket but thought twice, turning and giving Sira a smile.
“Want to take the bike or what ever car you brought. I mean I know how much you LOOOOVE my motorcycles..” He had to poke fun at her because she always hated his ‘riding death traps that would end up with him as road meat some day.’ The old arguments came into his mind and only made him smile wider, those were the days.

Sira understood his point, she really did. But it didn't change the fact that she didn't like the taste. She sighed and closed her eyes lightly. "Fine, I will change my diet only because I have to. But I am so not happy about this." sHe spoke stubbornly with a pouty lip. SHe looked up at him, her gaze passing through her eyelashes before meeting his eyes. "You are going to be the death of me one of these days." sHe joked with a smile on her lips. It was like they were back to their normal bantering selves.
When Martyn said mall, Sira rose to her feet from where she had been sitting on the couch. SHe was all too ready to get some shopping done. It had been a while since she had gotten to shop and it was absolutely killing her that she had went for so long.
Then Martyn said motorcycle. Shit. "You really think I want to ride on one of those things. They are monstrosities that are waiting to kill someone." She spat out. "Sad enough, I don't have a car. But I guarantee a car won't carry shopping bags so that is something we need to pick up as well. So I guess I will just have to live with riding the damn death trap into town so I can get a car. Then I will follow you to the mall then home." It didn't help that she didn't know the area. She needed to learn her way around. It could only help her in the end. But for now she had to rely on Martyn to get her to and fro places.
