come take a walk with me Kenny drove his mustang around town from quiet some time. It had been a little chilly and cloudy lucky for him. He had been tired of hiding in the forest! He drove up to a park that seemed pretty empty do to the whether. He pulled the silver mustang into the parking area and scanned the surroundings....Two kids that their parents were putting them into their van...and a security guard on the other side of the park...Good, he would be alone for a little while at least.
Kenny hopped out of his car, pulling his guitar out the back seat with him. He gave the car door a soft shut hoping not to bother the guard that seemed to be sleeping in his chair.
He walked over to a picnic table and made himself comfortable on the top of it, and began to play. He saw a song he felt meant a lot to the person who wrote it...Also, he could relate in ways...being homeless and all.
"Dear Mr. President, come take a walk with me (Take a walk with me) Let's pretend we're just two people and you're not better than me I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly
What do you feel when you see all the homeless on the street? Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep? What do you feel when you look in the mirror? Are you proud?
How do you sleep while the rest of us cry? How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye? How do you walk with your head held high? Can you even look me in the eye? And tell me why?
Dear Mr.President, were you a lonely boy? (Were you a lonely boy?) Are you a lonely boy? (Are you a lonely boy?)
How can you say, no child is left behind? We're not dumb and we're not blind (We're not blind) They're all sitting in your cells while you pave the road to hell
What kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away? And what kind of father might hate his own daughter if she were gay? I can only imagine what the first lady has to say You've come a long way from whiskey and cocaine
How do you sleep while the rest of us cry? How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye? How do you walk with your head held high? Can you even look me in the eye?
Let me tell you 'bout hard work Minimum wage with a baby on the way Let me tell you 'bout hard work Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away
Let me tell you 'bout hard work Building a bed out of a cardboard box Let me tell you 'bout hard work, hard work, hard work You don't know nothin' 'bout hard work, hard work, hard work
How do you sleep at night? How do you walk with your head held high? Dear Mr. President, you'd never take a walk with me, would you?"

Achen was enjoying the walk home, the overcast skies giving the trees a vivid shade of green. He strolled along with a relaxed gait, walking into the park on his way home. As he headed in the familiar direction of home. He was stopped by the plucking of guitar strings and a voice weaving together with the instrument's familiar melodies. Achen let his gaze wander over the park until it fell on a lone man playing the guitar. Achen had played the guitar in the past when he faced the sting of betrayal and felt the old comfort it gave him. He suddenly found himself walking towards the figure.
"Hello sir." Achen said hesitantly. He was amazed to be embracing a stranger, but the guitar was like an old friend beckoning him with promises of contentment.
"I heard you playing and am impressed. It's been too long since I've heard such passion expressed through that instrument." Achen said. God knows what he was doing, still he was compelled to embrace this stranger who seemed to play the guitar like he did so many years ago. Perhaps it was time he picked his guitar up again and graced the hospital with the melodies he loved so.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Naomi was enjoying her time in Forks Washington. She had actually come to like it with all the kind people that had welcomed her. Her and her family came from California so things would be different here. Naomi was walking through the park to get some fresh air. Tonight hopefully would be a night without casualties of disaster. Then scents started to change and the smell was way off. Her mild smile came to a grin. The stink was all wrong and she had never smelt anything like it before. Walking deeper into the park she began to hear music coming from a guitar and of singing. Naomi could only head in that direction actually liking the type of music. Two figures came into view and the smells had been coming from them both.
Naomi was more interested in piano's but, this was special in a way. She walked up to the two men in sight but kept cautious just in case. "Yes, your music is quite lovely. Have you been playing long?" She asked looking at the guitar. Naomi then looked at the two gentlemen carefully examining them. Their scents were way off then a human's but, she didn't want to say anything just in case she was wrong. She also didn't want to be rude.
Naomi enjoyed music though not as much as History. She kept her distance from the two but in range to talk to. There was something going on in Forks and she would sooner or later figure out what it was. Right now these two were just humans to her even though they smelled horrible, one like a wet musky smell and the other well dead-ish. But, everyone had there own smells and figured they just needed a shower. "I am quite fond of music myself." [/sub] ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Tags: Notes: Word Count: 302

Kenny slowly stopped singing to where he was only strumming the strings. The smell of wet dog had reached his nose and he almost flinched....the thing that had stopped him from doing so was the wolf saying "Hello sir." The young vampire blinked his golden eyes as the man approached him. "I heard you playing and am impressed. It's been too long since I've heard such passion expressed through that instrument." Kenny gave him a smile. "Thank you."
Another smell come to his nose, different....not as wet dog but still didn't smell very nice. His eyes looked over to a girl approaching. "Yes, your music is quite lovely. Have you been playing long?" He gave the girl a smile as well. "And thank you. Since I was four." He told her sweetly. Whatever she was, she smelt like a were of some sort...like his friend Ana Josephine whom happened to be a werewolf, but this girl wasn't a werewolf...No something different. "It's not everyday you kind approach my kind." Kenny said in almost a whisper turning to the wolf who had come along first. It had given him a slight confusion seeing as wolves hunt vampires....but he didn't seem to want to cause harm. Besides that, they were humans were close by...He knew the girl wasn't human so if she had heard his whisper he wouldn't feel so bad about it....She might just think they were in a gang or something.
He looked back to the girl. "I'm Kenny." Even though he was looking at her he was speaking to the both of them. "Who are you two?.....Lovely to see people enjoy some good music." The thing he enjoyed most was people coming over whenever he would play, it reminded him so much of being in London and playing in gigs.

Achen became wary as he saw the gold tint of the musician's eyes. He silently cursed himself for not paying attention to his senses. He could smell the strange odor that should have warned him, but the music had caused him to act thoughtlessly as it walked him through memories of lullabies and verdant fields. The man also seemed to know that something was off with him as well.
"I hate making mistakes, especially when they're so easily avoided." he said off-handedly
Achen let his attention shift to the young woman who stood near him. He smelled the odor surrounding her. His instinct telling him that this was a shifter like the Moon Children, but rarer. Legends tickled the edges of his memories, faint whisperings of beings whose rarity made them mere shadows through history. Achen felt the desire to be away from this two strangers now that he realized that they were more than they appeared.
"I'm a local resident running late for an appointment." Achen said as he turned to step away."It was nice to hear such melodies for a change, Thank you."
Achen let his eyes shift to the woman. "It was nice to meet you ma'am. Both of you enjoy your day." Achen said as he walked away and continued down the walk heading home from the park.
