Caline is practically broken. She has lost her love quite literally, and now spends her days in a depressed case. She tries to put off a tough expression for her adoptive daddy, but she is experiencing pain she never thought she would have to endure again. Behind her broken heart lies a soul, a soul believed by most of the anti-vampire clans as to be non-existent. But there it is, Caline has a very kind soul. She regrets even killing animals that she feeds off of. She is very sincere and hardly ever gets frustrated or mad. She has a very level head and is patient. She is never too rash or quick to judge, and is very generous.

Still, Cal has a lot of issues to work through. She has trust issues from losing people in her life, not that it is their faults. She can often be too quiet and come off as ignoring people, but most of the time she only fears for the lives of people who evn approach her. She sees herself as a monster, despite Alfered's persistent arguments against her views. Caline tends to run away into the forest in Forks and spend her nights alone, thinking about her previous lover. Cay can often msinterpret humans, which leads her to question them verbally upon meeting. She has never really met any humans worth getting to know much, siince most only approach her for her longing looks.

Caline is very friendly, regardless. She is always interested in finding a companion to talk to, someone to be there for her. She doesn't make friends often, since vampires interested in friendly tides rarely come along. Still, she is open to friendships of all kinds. While she had once given thought to hand herself over to the Volturi after coming back to Forks and realizing Noah was no where to be found, she has decided to try and outlive her heartache. Trying defeat the odds, Cay is always on her guard and never lets herself get unprotected. She is quite defensive, which makes it hard for people to get close. Still, she has a niche for letting the right people into her unbeating heart.

detailed history:

Caline grew up as a small child with her parents in a small town in the 1930's. She was born on November 19, 1913 to Ruth and Jason Niavardem in Italy. Ruth and Jason were originally from New Jersey, United States but moved to Italy to become acquainted with distant cultures. After a few years, Jason got laid off from his job as a gardener for a big corporation. The Niavardems decided to head off and allow Jason to do the one thing he wanted to in hs liife - take care of animals. They were like nomads, and they moved where Jason's job took them. Jason was a professional animal care-taker, and a wide-spread disease was crossing over a particular breed of cattle. Unfortunately, the three Niavardems caught on to the disease. Instead of being treated and sparing the possibility of infecting others, they responsibly decided to spend their last weeks together as a family in the middle of the meadows of Italy.

Caline's mother was the first to die. It took about 2 weeks since the initil impact of the disease hit them, which left Cay and her father waing for their own deaths. They built their own graves, Cal's dad thinking mostly about what Cay would do with his body after he deceased. After another month, her father passed away as well. Caline became weak, and absolutely couldn't bare the pain the disease was bringing upon her. She buried her father, right beside her mother, then shoveled dirt over her own grave and walked away from the area. After a few days, she decided to give up and laid down in the medow by herself. She fell asleep, not knowing that a man would be standing over her when she woulld awaken. He was pale, older, and beautiful. Alfered Mateus Ponte offered her a chance at a new life, that guaranteed her survival- forever. Caline felt absolutely horrible, and quickly accepted. Three days later, Cal woke up a vampire. That was the start of her new life.

Alfered taught Caline the way of life that he had taht himself to be accompanied to. He was an amazing teacher of restraint and nourishment. Cay could not remember most of her human life, but she did know that her parents came from the United States. She and Alfered talked about the U.S. a lot, because he had traveled from the states himself. Thirty years passed by, and Alfered became the father that Cay needed. He was a mentor and she loved him dearly, but there came a day that forced them to say goodbye. A coven forced Alfered to leave Caline and join them, on grounds of holding Cay hostage. When Alfered gave up his freedom for her, he told Caline to go to Forks, Washington. He spoke of vampires that resided there, and that would help her if she could find them.

So Caline sought out. From Italy to the sates, Cay met a couple of people that invited her to join them, but she refused. Her parents were from the United States, and she wanted to go there to see if she could understand them better. Cay finally made it to New Jersey where she found no one lated to her parents. She remained there for quite some time before moving over to Forks. When she went to Forks, she met a fellow vampire named Noah Allen. She knew that vampires couldn't love, but she had found herself in that spot. Noah and Caline spent 9 years together before someone showed up in their life - Alfered.

Alfered said that there was a war between his coven and another, and that she needed to help. Caline was obviously going to help, because Alfered was her changer. Sadly, Noah would not go with them. Cay had to leave, though, because Al had saved her life and now she had to save his. With that, Cay and Alfered went back to Italy and fought. Side by side, Alfered's coven defeated the other. The other vampires knew that Alfered and Caline were like father and daughter, and told him that his services were no longer needed. Cay was extremely excited because Al could come live with her in Forks, and she would have a father and mate. However, when she arrived back in Forks, something was not right.

Noah had left. Cay searched the forest, all traces and paths, and still no Noah. Depression sunk over Cal as she realized she had lost her love. Caline started up school and Al and herself got a nice home in the middle of the woods in Forks, a place that a cabin was not uncommon. Caline continues to search for Noah til this day, but her common sense is telling her that she may never find her love again.

fears: None - she has faced all of her previous fears. Those included losing Noah and facing heartache. She was scared of the dark, but has long gotten over that phase as she quite enjoys the seclusive feelings that darkness brings.

facial appearance: She has a small forehead and big, brown eyes that take up most of her face. Her nose is small, yet sharp and parallel to her jawline. Her lips are plump and mostly pale, though she occasionally brings back a 30's trend and paints her lips with a bold red. Of course, she can pull it off with her delicacy unlike most. Her ears are of normal size, and mostly hidden behind her hair. She has a smooth complexion of almost white, and a clear face. Her skin is like porcelain, but her teeth are like daggers. Her teeth are sharp and cruel, but she bares them not. She mostly keeps her mouth closed unless responding to someone in a low manner, keeping her teeth away from unwanted attention.
clothing: Her attire may seem plain, but her wardrobe is actually consisted of many traditional and elegant pieces. he likes to wear gold and blue, since they are her favorite colors on outfits. She likes to wear bold pieces, since she isn't afraid to stand out in the crowd - she already does. She has obtained a wide variety of shoes over the years, all with their quirky and different colors. While she may have a lot of clothes, she never dresses in leather or trashy materials. Cal has obtained a sense of honesty and sexuality in her clothing without looking like a slut. Seeing as she gets attention no matter her attire, she likes to keep things simple. While dresses are very much loved by the young (ha!) woman, Caline is very comfortably suited in a pair of jeans and a cute top, as well as any of her dresses.
build: Caline is a small thing, standing at a mere 5'1" and sporting a thin frame. Her torso is most definitely small, making her whole body supported upon her long, strangely legs. As a human with this sort of posture, Cay was unpredictably clumsy. Still, as a vampire she has complete and utter control over her awkward stature. In fact, it almost helps her fast speed more because her long legs can take longer strides than normal. Cay's arms are fairly long, as well as strong. She has a mighty strength built up in her small form. Still, she doesn't bare manly muscles or iron calves. Her appearance is delicate and soft like a flower, but is internally deadly. It's one of her most powerful strengths.
marks/scars: Caline lacks few scars, but is composed of some. Her legs mostly are scratched up, slightly scabbed from brushing against branches roughly. She has a small, white scratch about 10 mm long underneath her chin.
species appearance: Her skin sparkles in the sun, of which is easily avoidable in Forks. She also has far paler skin than most.
