No one ever knew about the double life Aisilyn lived. No one in the modeling world knew she was a doctor just like no one at the hospital knew she modeled. It was the best kept secret in the world. She really didn't know what she would do if her secret got out. Sure, her life would be a little hectic, but it wouldn't change drastically. She liked keeping the two lives separate. It helped her to keep her life in order. Aisilyn was big on organization and order. She was slightly OCD with that. Her entire house was kept clean and orderly, just like her office at the hospital.
It was one of her days off from the hospital. SHe had the intent of relaxing and sleeping in. But that obviously wasn't in the cards for her. It was ten in the morning when her cellular phone went off. She rolled over in bed and grabbed the electronic device before answering with a simple hello. It was her agent. SHe was needed in Seattle by three in the afternoon. Aisilyn sighed and said she would be there before hanging up the receiver. It took three and a half hours to get to Seattle if she took the ferry. She had five hours until she had to be there. Plenty of time.
Getting out of bed, Lyn walked downstairs and grabbed some yogurt before flipping on the weather channel. SHe ate the dairy product as she watched the television. So, it was going to be raining in Seattle all day, lovely. After finishing the small meal, Lyn threw the cup in the trash and washed her spoon before heading back upstairs to get ready.
Morning showers always left Aisilyn feeling refreshed and ready for the day. So she let herself enjoy the warm water as it helped to wash away the grogginess and stupor of sleep and helped to wake her up and prepare her for the day. Once she was clean and refreshed, she stepped out and wrapped her body in a soft white towel before drying her hair with the blow dryer.
When that task was done, she walked into her closet and looked at all of the clothes. SHe had so many outfits to choose from. Normally she would just grab something and go, but today she was meeting a new designer. Someone that her agent said she would work well with. So she needed to impress. In a satisfying decision, Lyn grabbed a form fitting black dress and slid it over her body. SHe looked into the mirror with a smile before returning to the bathroom to brush her teeth, apply her makeup, and style her hair.
When she was finally done she looked at the clock. It was eleven o'clock. She grabbed a pair of red Louboutin heels and an overcoat in the same shade of red before sliding them on. Satisfied, Lyn made her way downstairs, grabbing her purse and black umbrella on the way into the garage.
Her car was a simple four dour black sedan. Nothing special. She preferred safe instead of flashy. This car was a brand new model, purchased only a couple of months earlier. Lyn slid into the driver seat and pushed the button to raise the garage as she started the car. She flipped on the radio to play a hits station on her Sirius radio. She pulled out of the drive and lowered the garage before driving off.
The drive to Seattle was a long one. The ferry ride was at least enjoyable. sHe was able to get out of the car and walk a little bit, venturing up to the front of the boat to watch their journey progress. She drove the rest of the trip singing along with some of the songs she actually knew. It felt like an eternity when she finally came in view of the skyline.
The GPS mounted on the dash guided her straight to the meeting place. And as the weatherman predicted, it was raining. It was now 2:45. SHe had fifteen minutes to spare. But, Aisilyn being who she was, wasn't going to waste time just because she could. sHe went straight inside and sat down in a chair waiting on the designer to show up.
