No one messed with Peyton. Sure, she was only sixteen. but she was one bitch you didn't want to get on their bad side. Peyton had no qualms with fucking you up. Sure, at first glance, yu would mistake her for being all looks. She was damn sexy but no, she didn't mind getting her hands dirty. She would kick your ass in a heartbeat.
And now that Peyton was heading home half way through the school day, she was thinking about what the hell she would tell Sam on why she got suspended. Really, she had tried to get through the school year without trouble. Sam had told her she needed to lay low, and well, Peyton never laid low. Naturally, she tried to be at the top of the social ladder at school. There had been one problem with that. The current social queen didn't want to step down. She had challenged Peyton, and well, it got messy. In the process of gaining her new social standing she broke the girl's nose, her arm and gave her a black eye. Thus getting her suspended from school for a week. Peyton had not a scratch on her.
Peyton was sure the rest of the pack knew about the fight. Word traveled fast in a pack. Especially when some of the members went to school with her. She sighed as she shifted the backpack on her shoulder. She was walking home. She wanted to take her time. There was no rush to tell her brother she fucked up.
She had only been a mile from the house when she caught a scent. She didn't think or try to figure out who it was. She dropped her bag and started baring her teeth as a growl erupted from her throat. She was beginning to shake as her body prepared to shift. She was holding back though. There was someone just on the other side of the tree. She knew they weren't human. That was about all she registered. "Show yourself." SHe demanded, her voice harsh and menacing. They had about five seconds to come out or she was shifting and hunting them down and they would be her lunch.

It was a typical day for the Uley household. Or well at least Colin was hoping for this day to be a typical one but knowing that his pack mates, he was sure that something as simple as that would be way too much to ask for. Especially when one of his pack mate answered to the name of Peyton Uley. Peyton, Peyton, Peyton what are we going to do with you? The whole pack heard about fight that went down in La Push High School. Sam wasn’t too happy about this. Colin wasn’t either. He wanted to help Peyton out. He really didn’t want to force his friendship on Peyton. If Peyton was going to be his friend besides pack mate, Colin wanted for his pack mate to do it in her own time and in her own way. He just had to make sure to let Peyton know that he was there for her no matter what. Problem was, it seemed that Peyton slash his pack mate was too bitchy to even see or realize that. Colin did have a clue as to what could be bothering the other shape shifter but he didn’t just want to assume or confront Peyton with it. He knew that he would only be pushing the other teen back. And that was the last thing he wanted to do.
He was in the kitchen sitting in front of the small dining table with plate of food in front of him. He had already eaten half of it but when he started to think about Peyton and her fight in school and what she could possibly be going through, he ended up pushing the scrambled eggs around and around his plate. It didn’t even take for Peyton’s scent too long to snap him out of it. She was about a mile away from her. Colin quickly got up and made his way out of Sam’s house. Of course, Colin got to Peyton quicker in his wolf form, he remain in the shadows so no one saw him. "Show yourself." Peyton demanded, in a rather harsh voice. Ah, that’s the Peyton the pack knows and loved. He instantly phased back and quickly put on his grey sweat pants on. He untangled himself from the bushes, “Chillax, it’s just me.” He said, with a familiar warm smile as he made his way over to her, “ Hope you don’t mind me walking with you?” he asked, unsure in how Peyton would respond.

Peyton was irritated. SHe was pissed off she was suspended from school. Pissed they stopped her from beating that girl more. Pissed that she now had to explain everything to Sam. It really wasn't fair. Peyton was a misunderstood kid. Okay, maybe just a pissed off kid. But she had been through plenty. SHe had lost both her parents to a vampire, had to move to the middle of nowhere on an Indian reservation, had to go to a stupid school, learned she had a brother, and was now in said brother's care. It really was a recipe for disaster. She had already been a spoiled brat in Seattle, and now she wasn't spoiled anymore. That added to her frustration. SHe didn't get special treatment or what she wanted when she wanted it. She hated this life.
When Colin stepped out of the tree line, Peyton untensed and exhaled as she calmed down. "Good way to get yourself killed. Sneaking up on a pissy woman." She spoke harshly She snatched up her bag and turned. "Do as you please. You act like I give a shit if you follow me home." She spat back. SHe was in a crabby mood and really didn't have the patience to deal with anyone's shit. She started walking, not waiting on him to follow or anything. If he decided to tag along with her, that was his prerogative. What he did in his spare time was none of his business.
