School, what teenager wished to go. Ari, she liked to go. Often she stayed late as well. Today was one of those days. Ever since coming to Forks, Ari couldn't get any alone time while at home. Her aunt was constantly worrying about her. But Ari was fine. She would live. Sure she went through a lot the last year, but she wasn't dying, not any time soon.
Sitting in the band room, it was quiet. Ari had nowhere to be, and no one to interrupt her. She had been working on some music of her own lately, and now seemed like a good time to see how it all came together after putting finishing touches on it in her last class.
Her blonde curls fell around her face as she tuned the guitar in her lap and set the sheet music up on a stand in front of her. Looking around, Arianna made sure there wasn't anyone in the room. This was something she kind of wanted to keep to her own for now. Satisfied with her surroundings, Ari looked down at her guitar and begun strumming the music to the song.
I can almost see it That dream I am dreaming But there's a voice inside my head saying "You'll never reach it"
Every step I'm taking Every move I make feels Lost with no direction My faith is shaking
But I gotta keep trying Gotta keep my head held high
There's always gonna be another mountain I'm always gonna wanna make it move Always gonna be a uphill battle Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose
Ain't about how fast I get there Ain't about what's waiting on the other side It's the climb
The struggles I'm facing The chances I'm taking Sometimes might knock me down But no, I'm not breaking
I may not know it But these are the moments that I'm gonna remember most, yeah Just gotta keep going
And I, I got to be strong Just keep pushing on
'Cause there's always gonna be another mountain I'm always gonna wanna make it move Always gonna be a uphill battle Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose
Ain't about how fast I get there Ain't about what's waiting on the other side It's the climb, yeah!
There's always gonna be another mountain I'm always gonna wanna make it move Always gonna be an uphill battle Somebody's gonna have to lose
Ain't about how fast I get there Ain't about what's waiting on the other side It's the climb, yeah!
Keep on moving, keep climbing Keep the faith, baby It's all about, it's all about the climb Keep the faith, keep your faith, whoa
Finishing up the song, Ari sighed. The song was perfect. She loved it. It came out better than she had thought it would be. With a smile, Ari leaned back to lay on the ground. Outfit: www.polyvore.com/arianna_school/set?id=24683876notes: I am using a miley song yes but i think it fits

A wry grin flashed pearly teeth to the empty garage as the Ducati’s low hum ricocheting against the walls. Even if Vlad yearned for the simplicity of his human years, he had to admit that the technology advances in transportation were to be admired. Speed was something desired by the entire population of men, no matter what time period. He swung himself onto the bike and roared out of the garage and into the empty street. Speed was something he relished over all else. It made this morbid trip seem more like a joyride.
The Forks were streets were empty, as family settled for the night in this small town. Law enforcement officers were far and few in between, and were most of the time a waste of tax payers’ dollars in a town so small. It wasn’t as if the under rated cop cars would be able to stop the sleek Ducati with streets this abandoned and a vampire’s reflexes.
With the speeds Vlad was hitting, he was at Forks High School within minutes. Vlad left the bike outside of the large brick building, confident that no one around would take the expensive Ducati. Vlad eyed the empty school building. Lately, Vlad has been thinking of attending high school. He wonders what Olivia Volturi would think of this idea, his heart slightly ach thinking about the distant between them. Olivia was away on business, something Vlad would have to learn to get use too. It didn’t mean he had to like it.
Vlad entered the double doors of the school and his nose wrinkled in protest. Vlad walked down the hallways, his footsteps echoing against the wall. He imagines so many humans sitting in this empty classroom. His tongue flicked absentmindedly across his lips at the thought. He stood silently, posture exceeding that of a normal teenagers, (it was actually the posture of a trained gentleman, as a human and as a vampire) hands clasped behind his back as he waited the small amount of time he would have to.
Vlad come to halt when he heard another sound echoing through these empty hallways. It seems Vladimir Elric wasn’t alone. A predatory grin spread across his handsome face. He darted towards the sound, following the human’s scent with such ease. He came to a stop in front of what seem to be a music room. He stood there for a moment, listening to this human sing her heart out. Her voice was pretty powerful…for a human. He stood there, with his eyes closed. He let the girl’s voice fill his head, for a moment let her words touch his cold heart. It warm just a little. He pushed open the door and enters the band room. He began to clap his hands together. “Bravo, bravo.” He said, getting the girl's attention.

Ari had always felt at ease when she sang and played her guitar. It was something she would do to calm down after a stressful day. It put her in a peaceful place where she felt invincible. Nothing could hurt her when she was engulfed in her music. The music never lied wot her, she didn't fear it. The words she sang, she would embrace with her heart.
Arianna didn't expect anyone to find her here. Her cell phone hadn't rung yet so her aunt wasn't terribly worried yet. Arianna would leave to school and not resurface until late, with enough time to eat something before showering for bed. She hadn't always been like this. But she hated being home long enough for her aunt to make a fuss over her well being. Ari was fine. Okay, so maybe she had lost her parents that year. And maybe she had been raped by her now dead boyfriend. But no one knew about that last point. She wouldn't say a word. No, she never talked about Daniel, but that didn't mean his actions hadn't affected her in bad ways. She didn't like being near the male species much anymore, and especially not alone.
When the clapping resounded through the room Aria jumped a little, causing her heart to skip a little bit. She looked up at the new person in the room. She got nervous suddenly as she looked at him with ice blue eyes. Her blonde curls shifted as she sat up from the position she had been sitting in while playing the guitar. "Thank you." SHe muttered softly.

He took a seat closely to the girl with wild curly hair. Wow, he wonders how she manages to tame such hair. He sat down on the desk, his smile never leaving his face. “Don’t you think it’s kind of dangerous being here alone at such an hour?” He asked casual. In any human’s eye, Vlad would have appeared to be just another pretty boy face. No one would suspect him of such terrible heartless crimes like murder. No…With an angelic face like his, humans would think he was such a kind person. He didn’t appear to be like someone that relishes in blood and in killing innocent souls. How wrong can mortals be? Didn’t they start that whole ‘never judge a book by its cover’ crap?
Vlad kept his eyes on his latest victim. He could already smell her blood through her thin veins. Her blood smells sweet, nothing special though. But, what a pity Vlad would have to kill someone with such a beautiful voice. You never heard singing like that anymore. A song that not only come from the heart but it mingle with the soul. He softly signed, debating if he should kill her quick or just enjoy her company before he ended her for good. “Can you sing me another song before—“ He was about to say I kill you, but was happy to catch himself before he did. “You go.” He said, with a sincere, innocently looking smile on his face. “ You have such a wonderful voice…” He said, playing the part of a shy school boy. He slightly looks away from her, acting as if he were embarrassed from speaking what’s on his mind. If only the poor girl really knew what was going on in this monster’s head.

Ari watched him carefully. She was wary. She didn't like him being close and kind of wished he would leave her alone. "I am always here this late. My aunt worries too much about me for my taste." She replied. She really didn't like this. Something about this guy was off. Ari couldn't place her finger on it though. That was what was bugging her. It wasn't just that though. He was a male. Men were pigs. She didn't like that she was alone with a guy, not just one she didn't know.
Ana looked up at him when he asked her to play her something else for him. "I don't normally let anyone hear me play. My family doesn't even get to listen. So I don't know about singing anything else right now." She replied as she stood up and put her guitar into its case. "I'm sorry, but I really need to head home. I have homework that needs to be done for Calculus tomorrow and it is getting late." She spoke gathering her things. "Thank you for the compliment, but I really should go." She spoke turning towards the door allowing her pale blonde curls to bounce around her. This guy was creeping her out. She just wanted to go.

The blonde girl wasn’t so dumb after all. She was trying to get away from him which Vlad thought was incredibly cute of her. He decided to make her death as painless as possible. He walked over to the door and blocked her only exit. Unless she wanted to jump out the window, this girl wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon. “Okay, let me rephrase my request. I want to hear you sing for me. Or else.” He glared at her. All signs of his innocence disappeared from his angelic face. “Now, if you ever want to see your family again, you sing for me.” He ran his cool finger under her chin before titling her head up and barely brushing his lips against hers. “What it going to be, princess?” He whispers gently against her lips. Her skin was so soft and warm verse Vlad’s cold marvel skin. He like how it felt against his lips. He also like how she shiver from his touch…A light bulb flicker over Vlad’s head like those old fashion cartoons. Olivia was going to be away for a short time. Vlad could keep himself busy with this human. He could keep her like a pet. Yeah, he liked the idea of owning a human, a human pet. Besides, Vlad was feeling more like himself, the way he was pining the girl against the wall, limiting her chances of escape.

When the guy's tone changed, Ari began to get more frightened. She took a step back hoping maybe a little space between them would help, no that didn't work. Soon he had her pinned against the wall. She couldn't escape and had nowhere she could go. She could feel her phone in her pocket vibrating. That was her aunt for sure. But should she risk answering it? She knew if she didn't her aunt would begin to scour Forks looking for her. It was inevitable.
Arianna didn't want to piss this guy off. No, that was the last thing she wanted. She wished someone would walk in. Just this once she wished someone would save her. She didn't want the same thing to happen to her again as it did with Daniel. And when he kissed her, her eyes grew wide as she began seeing memories from the night her ex boyfriend ruined her life. What was she supposed to say? "I would, but I don't know anything else." She replied simply. The fear was evident on her voice. She was trapped and possibly could die here. She didn't want to be here. She wanted to be home right now. Safe in her room. Safely tucked away in her bed.

The nerve of this human girl! How dare she not sing for Vlad? Didn’t she know how lucky she was he was considering her out of all the damn human girls in the world!? He gazed into her eyes and saw the obvious fear in her pretty little blue eyes. Good. He can work with that, her fear. It was so much easier to control humans when you knew they were scared of you. Right now, Vlad was the ultimate bully to this girl. He soft sighed escaped his lips, “Okay then, you going to learn a few new songs for me before the night is over.” He pushes himself off the wall and away from her. He took a seat on an empty desk, “Don’t even think about escaping.” He warned her. He didn’t want to have to hurt his first human pet – well for tonight anyways. He slowly eyed the girl up and down, she was skinny but she has curves in the right places. Although, she was lacking in the chest area. He quickly got up from the desk again and took the guitar case out of her hands. He took the guitar out of it case and examined the guitar with observative eyes. “Not bad. Not bad at all.” He strums the guitar’s strings, testing it out. After his warm ups were over then he started playing ominous melody on the guitar. A smile start spread across his handsome face, soon the vampire started to sing, “I wanna do bad things with you.” He walk over towards the girl, his human pet, his demonic looking eyes locked with hers, “When you came in the air went out. And every shadow filled up with doubt. I don't know who you think you are, but before the night is through.” the vampire whispered as he leaned ever closer to her ear, “ I wanna do bad things with you.” His voice, a clear tenor, vocal timbre: it even overpowered Jesse McCartney’ s voice. He grinned when he finished playing on her guitar. “No encore?” He teased.

He walked away and her phone began going off another time. She didn't know what to do. She knew she couldn't run. It might make this guy angry and she wouldn't ever make it home. Now what would happen if she answered her phone? Part of her wanted to risk it. At least then her aunt would know something was up before her phone would be taken. She would come looking. The phone stopped vibrating and started again in the next heartbeat. She was being persistent.
She closed her eyes as he took her guitar and began playing it. By the time Ari opened her eyes there was tears spilling over and down her soft cheeks. Her heart was racing and her breathes were coming out in quick short gasps. "Please...I..." SHe got out before she started crying more. She was terrified. "I just want to go home." Why didn't she just go home after school like a normal kid? If she ever made it out of here she would definitely start doing that.

Vlad could hear her cell phone vibrating with his keen vampire hearing. He silently slides his hand on her lower back. He’s hand went lower…and lower, teasing the poor girl for a bit. He finally stop on her butt and took out of cell phone from her back jean pocket. He put down the gaiter next to them and picked up the call. He put a tight grip over the girl’s mouth. He still didn’t know her name. Oh well, her name didn’t really matter. He was going to give her a name after this. He cleared his throat as soon as the other person picked up and blurt a ‘where are you!?’ With the same sounding exact voice like the girl, Vlad spoke in his most girlish voice ever. He convinced the woman the woman that the blonde girl was alright. She was just finishing up a school project due tomorrow and blah blah blah. The woman continues to talk shit until Vlad had to cut her off. “Okay, I’m on my way home now. See you in a few.” He clicked the phone, ending the world most annoying phone conversation ever. The foolish woman didn’t have a clue it was really Vlad on the phone and not her ‘precious’ niece. “That woman is really annoying… Now, I’m starting to get pissed. Either you sing for me or I have to kill you. ”

Ari let a tear slide down her cheek as he caressed her body before taking her phone and answering it. How could her aunt not catch anything wrong. Ari didn't have friends, not since the accident. So she felt defeated when he pulled off the charade well. Then the words came out her mouth that caused her eyes to grow wide. He would kill her.
Closing her eyes, Arianna swallowed the lump in her throat before grabbing the guitar and sliding down the wall until she was sitting on the floor. she propped the instrument up to be able to play it. She re-tuned it and closed her eyes as she took a breath. SHe could do this. She pulled out the song book she used to write all her music in that was tucked into her book bag. She turned the pages to a song that she had written right after the accident. She looked at the lyrics remembering all of the emotions she had went through that day. Remembering every little bit of pain she had experienced from the Daniel incident and on. She set the book down next to her and stared at the page as she began to play.
You have a way of coming easily to me And when you take, you take the very best of me So I start a fight 'cause I need to feel somethin' And you do what you want 'cause I'm not what you wanted
Oh, what a shame What a rainy ending given to a perfect day Just walk away No use defending words that you will never say
And now that I'm sittin' here thinkin' it through I've never been anywhere cold as you
You put up walls and paint them all a shade of gray And I stood there lovin' you and washed them all away And you come away with a great little story Of a mess of a dreamer with the nerve to adore you
Oh, what a shame What a rainy ending given to a perfect day Just walk away No use defending words that you will never say
And now that I'm sittin' here thinkin' it through I've never been anywhere cold as you
You never did give a damn thing, honey But I cried, cried for you And I know you wouldn't have told nobody If I died, died for you, died for you
Oh, what a shame What a rainy ending give to a perfect day Every smile you fake is so condescending Counted all the scars you made
Now that I'm sittin her thinkin' it through I've never been anywhere cold as you
She finished the song and didn't move. She sat there hoping he would let her leave. She hated being here now and was now convinced she was going to take extra precautions and stay home more. She definitely didn't want to spend anymore time alone. Maybe she would patch up the relationship with her friends. Tell them about what happened and why she withdrew. Maybe they would keep her company so she didn't have to be alone. Maybe, it would be what needed to be done so this never happened again.

He watches her carefully with predatory eyes. He look down at her when she was re-tuning her guitar and kept quiet filling the room with silence until she began to sing again. Her voice filled this room, her voice held such sadness laced with fear in it. This sang was deep and original – maybe a bad experience from her past? He wasn’t quite sure but knew he liked it. Vlad’s head was like a tape recorder, he memorize every word and silently song along with her within his head. When she finishing her sang, Vlad was slightly disappointed. He wanted to hear more from her, but seeing the tears run down the girl’s cheek…He softly sighed. He wipes away her tear with his thumb, “Good news, I won’t have to kill you.” He gave her a slight smile. He helped the girl up on her feet. “Come on, I’m taking you home.” And it wasn’t a request, more like an order. He waited for to gather her things before walking along side her down the hall and towards the exit of the school. Well, they were walking; Vlad was trying to figure out a name for his new pet. He couldn’t think of anything creative or unique for her. He walks over to where he last parks his motorcycle, which remains untouched since he left it. “Where do you live?” He asked, getting onto his motorcycle without putting on his helmet. He glanced at the girl, waiting for her answer.

It took everything a few moments to sink in. Arianna's eyes grew wide when the words clicked. "No, I can walk home. It's fine. I don't live far anyhow." She couldn't let him take her home. Then he would know where she lived. Then her aunt would be at risk. Ari couldn't risk that. She clutched the neck of her guitar and pulled the instrument close to her chest.
Ari hoped he bought it, would leave her be. She would go straight home. Her house was maybe five blocks down. She could walk or run there effortlessly. But she didn't need this guy following her. She couldn't put other people at risk. This guy was a psycho. He was wanting to kill her if she didn't sing, then imagine what he would do to others. Maybe she should report him to the police. Then he wouldn't be able to hurt anyone.
There was so many possibilities swimming though Ari's head. But she at that moment just wanted to get out of there and as far from this guy as possible. This was one nightmare she wanted to end. But she had a sinking feeling this was just the beginning.
