necklace, pretty and unique. It was supposed to be ready but apparantly the dosages of fear and money wasn't enough to motivate them to the speed he wanted. he had hoped it wouldn't take as long as it did but there was nothing to be done about it now He could only hope she liked it - and he was very difficult to lie to. It would be a shame if she didn't after all that energy he expended trying to get it for her.[/blockquote][/ul] A/N please pretend it's a really nice necklace I'm thinking something like this: option or OPTION or just a plain ordinary collarette XD

Brooke was going around Edward’s room, collecting the very few things she kept in the Cullen home. Even though she had married Edward her time here was limited to time spent with her husband, even now if felt strange to be in the Cullen home without him was weird because of all the feelings she knew the Cullen’s had for her. Being married to him was a little weird when every member of his family didn’t like her, of course with the exception of Ana who didn’t get to know Edward’s past girlfriend so she wasn’t bias towards the girl. Despite the face she had only shown how much she loved her husband Esme was still a little cold to her, which she found weird since Esme ha accepted everyone else into her family so easily. That was probably the reason the Cullen mother hadn’t directly stated her dislike for her new daughter-in-law. Granted none of them knew her well enough to like her, but Brooke had avoided getting too close because all of the Cullen’s seemed to have a strong liking for Isabella Swan and weren’t too fond of Brooke swooping in and ending that for them.
Then again there were only three Cullen’s that had avoided the wedding. Carlisle, but he had work that day, Alice, who was quite fond of Bella since the two had become best friends, and Jasper, Alice’s husband who would probably side with his wife on the matter and who showed up after the ceremony probably not wanting to see his brother marry a mistake.
She also felt like Esme hated her more because she had gotten an apartment in Italy for her and Edward to live in, making it seem like Brooke was forcing her husband to leave his family. This fact wasn’t true at all, she had tried to convince her husband to stay but when he said he couldn’t do it any more she agreed to leave with him. Not that they would see that side of it, they saw Brooke as the person tearing their family apart, and she couldn’t blame them.
As she packed she heard someone approach the door and she passed by it, opening it for whoever was walking towards the door. She then continued to pack hers and Edward’s things. She would then have to go back to her hotel room and gather all of her things there, that would be a mission within itself. She was a little stiff in her packing as she waited for whoever was coming towards the room to enter, she was obviously uncomfortable right now.
((And either is okay. ^^))

Jasper opened with, stepping forward, a square shaped box in his hands as he stood looking slightly nervous, slightly awkward but always out of place. "My intention was to show up. Prior scheduled engagements took a lot longer than I had anticipated," Jasper explained. He was also holding two passports, both for herself, one with Knight-Cullen, and one with another identity because you never could tell when there would be an emergency. Of course nothing like that could fool Demetri, but even the Volturi could pull Airline Customs strings and this way she'd be able to slip through if she had to. He didn't trust the Volturi one ounce. The gift was a drop pendant blood diamond, a large one, encrusted with white tiffany cut diamonds around with intermittent tiny blood diamonds. The chain was white gold and 18 inches in length and cost around £30,000. Blood diamonds were terrifically rare and he had a large one with smaller interspersed ones too. No expense was spared and in fact, got a discount for petrifying the people he was dealing with. He didn't care for the discount but refusing seemed to be a bit insulting to them. After allthey worked so hard. [/blockquote][/ul] A/N = t'is the pendant drop XD

Brooke continued packing as Jasper walked into the room, “Living in a house of people that aren’t exactly fond of you is a little troubling don’t you think?” She asked as she put more things away. She then turned to face Jasper with a small pleasant on her face. Her eyes didn’t flicker to what he held, they stayed on his face, “It’s fine… I can’t expect everyone to show up to a wedding can I? Especially an entire family of people who probably couldn’t care less about whether or not Edward and I stay married.” She was lying about whether or not she was okay with it, a giant lie. She hated that members of her new family hadn’t shown up. In all honesty it felt like a huge rejection, having her husband’s family have a dislike towards her.
She bit her lip and turned away from him, gripping the edge of the table that she had set her bags on, “They act like I am the one tearing him away from you guys… He asked me to go with him… I tried to convince him not to go and I considered staying here without him so he had no choice but to visit… But it has become increasingly difficult to stay away from him for long lengths of time… I am sure you can understand that feeling…” A large frown crossed her face as she thought for a moment, “Tell me Jasper… Edward and I are going to adopt a kid… How can I rightfully feel comfortable with the kid visiting his family if they don’t like me?” she muttered, “Because you all have that right to see your adoptive family… But I don’t want this family strain to come between us all if there is a child involved…” she wouldn’t take that right away from the Cullen’s, Edward’s family had the right to see the kid they adopted but it would still be awkward.

He was selfish, no doubt, but not as selfish or indignant than Rosalie Hale. He had his faults, yes, but they all did and picking that one out wasn't necessarily fair. It just happened to be prominant at this moment in time. Perhaps it wasn't selfish at all. He knew Brooke wasn't happy, not accepted, so why force her to remain where she would be always on watch, on guard and careful around those she was supposed to be most comfortable with? Jasper knew that feeling very well and it was not a pleasant one - even if it was mostly of his own making towards the end. Taking her to Italy was probably the best idea, for her. "We all leave from time to time. Rosalie and Emmett leave when they get married sometimes... or they get kicked out," Jasper shrugged. He and Alice were the only ones not to because she wouldn't be able to restrain him if something went wrong. For a long time he wasn't ready to leave the relative safety of the Cullen Clan and had been too shaky around humans to even think about it. He could not yet attend University or College but perhaps one cycle in the next few decades he would. "They were all very fond of Bella," Jasper shrugged. He thought she was OK, a little high maintenance in terms of self esteem but otherwise fine...except being human. He didn't know her like the rest. He didn't know her at all actually. His perspective on her was much different from the others. "Their dream was shattered. It's their problem not yours," Jasper replied. He moved his hands as he did so, therefore the package he was holding and the identification papers.[/blockquote][/ul] A/N: I'm trying to write less for yooouuuuu. Not sure it's working though XD

Brooke let out a small sigh and shut her eyes for a moment, "Edward should stay close to his family... We all know that, family is what he needs right now..." she muttered, "And I am sorry if Edward being happy with me shattered their dreams for him... He is happy, isn't he?" a little bit of Brooke's self consciousness came out then, worried that her husband was not really happy with their marriage, "Never mind, don't answer that... You should be telling me... He should." she muttered
She then turned around when she heard the sound of something shifting in Jasper's hands. Her eyes quickly fell upon it and then she looked back at his face. "I'm sorry, you came in here for a reason and I am sure listening to my rambling about my husband was not part of it..." she then gestured to a chair close at hand, "Please, take a seat." she said as she took the chair across from it.
She didn't want to leave the Cullen home, not like this anyway. If she could just get one of them to see that she wasn't as bad as they all thought then maybe the rest would come to see it too. Then again, she didn't know how many of the Cullen's knew of her gift, if they did at all. She only knew that Esme had been told, and if Esme knew then had she told the others? Then they had every right to be suspicious of her, they were allowed to wonder if Edward's love for Brooke was only because of her gift. So she was going to take this chance to see if he knew, and if he did she was also going to hope he saw the truth.
((I am trying to write more but when on my iPod they aren't large posts.... You can write as much as you want, you should just know I don't write hugely long posts unless they are needed... And sorry for the wait, I went out of town and my muse has been quite absent lately... Oh! And Jasper can know of Brooke's gift of you want.))

Keeping any form of secret here was virtually impossible and often regarded as a betrayal when you did. It shouldn't necessarily be. Secrets were good for hte soul sometimes. Some things just shoudln't be shared. "Have you ever considered, that he wants to leave, because you aren't happy here?" Jasper asked. He reverted back to his Southern accent then, deciding honesty was the best policy here. He didn't have the best people skills when he decided not to use his charm as he was doing now. Brooke needed to see something real and him being a Southie was real, not from the North like hte rest. He was rather attatched to his accent too. Whatever connotations of insinuations you could bring to him because he was apparantly this, and apparantly that because he was from the South, born in a time when Slavery was normal and they stood for ideals which had long since been abolished, Jasper did not care. His twang was something he was fond of. Whatever reasons he had to join the Confederate Army didn't matter any more. They may once have been his views; they weren't now. "Happiness comes in many forms," he said unhelpfully, even though it was true. Jasper sat down, refraining from rolling his eyes. This was something he could have done standing, like normal vampires. Even now he still made the comparisons between what he still considered to be truly normal, and this odd 'normality' he had grown accustomed to. He supposed it was time he stopped calling the other way so strongly 'normal', but it was a long habit and habits crashed hard. The veggie life wasn't so bad. At least Brooke didn't have to adjust. It was staggeringly difficult if you were raised as a soldier. Did all transactions have to invovle sitting? "These are identification papers. One with you married name and another I don't know. I haven't looked. It's for you eyes only, just in case. I know how quickly things can go wrong with the Volturi," Jasper said. He seperated the ID papers from the gift. "Adn this is why I didn't make it. You're wedding present," Jasper said.[/blockquote][/ul]
