Today Teddí had spent most of the day in her room. She left a few times to eat and talk with some of the kids, but found it rather peaceful to give a day mostly for herself. She sighed lightly walking around her room. The girl had become well used to where things were placed-which was good. At first she kept forgetting where her bed was and did a circle until she found it. She grinned as her cane touch something on the floor. She bent down and picked it up to find it was a shirt she forgot to throw in her clothes hamper.
She searched for more things that might be misplaced to put them away. She didn't find anything else but a sock. Ted walked over and tossed both clothing items in her clothes hamper then made her way to her bed. She sat down and placed her cane beside her then moved her legs into an Indian style sit. The cane was new, she just bought it after her old on broke, and this one was a lot better and easier. It was white of course, most cane like hers had to be white to indicate she was blind, it was without the hook, and the bottom she could push into the top to make it shorter to save space.
knock, knock
A smile appeared on her face-someone wanted to talk to her! She loved company. She placed the voice to Kristen but wasn't sure if it was her or not. She only heard her speak once. "Come in," She called in a happy tone to the person who was on the other side. The door wasn't locked or anything so she wouldn't have to get up again. She did, however, move herself and her cane to one side of the bed just in-case she wanted to sit down. Their was a chair on the other side of the room, however, Ted didn't like that it would be far away.. She sighed lightly and leaned against the wall behind her.
Kristen come to give her some books she could read in her free time. Kristen worked for the agency and was assigned Ted to look after in the G wing of the building. The whole hallway was hers to look after. Smiling, she gave her thanks and asked if she could be taken to the park for some fresh air. Kristen agreed to it, but told her when it were time to go to give her a call and she would pick her up.
Once at the park she sat near a river on the rock. It was rather peaceful today which was good for her, although she did want someone to talk to. She figured she could stick her feet in the water but as she stood her jeans pants got stuck between the rocks she was sitting on. "Ugh" The young teenager muttered, trying to pull the pants loose....she failed terribly. Now she was stuck there...but she kept trying to pull herself free.

Daylon Carter Black had decided she needed a break from the pressures of the pack and La Push for a little while, and she really didn't want to deal with any questions as to why she needed a break, so she didn't tell anyone when she made her way to Seattle. The dark haired girl knew she probably looked out of place and everyone was probably wondering why she was even here, but she didn't care. She had no reason to be scared. Daylon was a shifter, and if she absolutely had to, she would use that as an advantage. She tugged at her blue jacket which was covering a white tank top and just skimmed the top of her blue jean skirt and sighed. She watched her feet as they walked rhythmically in there blue high top Converse. She continued walking along the paved road past the shops, until she came to a small park. She thought that it seemed like a nice place, and there wasn't a lot of people around here. She pulled her black curls into a pony tail and scanned the area in a surveillance type motion. It was instinct to watch her surroundings at all times. It was something she always did. Even back at home, in La Push. She played with the gold locket around her neck and sighed, still looking around. That's when she someone not far from where she was. She noticed that the figure was a girl, near her age, maybe slightly older. She realized the girl was having trouble with something. She knew she should help, and it was just her nature. She was a helpful person. Daylon made a split second decision and walked over to the girl. "Um..Hey. I noticed your having trouble getting loose from those rocks. Do you need help?"Word Count: 303 Outfit: HERE!

Teddí jerked at her pants leg but helped none. She sighed and told herself not to try jerking it again...she didn't feel like having to buy new pants. The five foot'four girl bent down and felt where he pants were stuck. Seems to be just wedged between them; she didn't feel it hoked on anything. Teddí sighed. "Um..Hey. I noticed your having trouble getting loose from those rocks. Do you need help?" A girls voice rang into her ears...she surprised herself on not hearing footsteps come up close to her but she was pretty wrapped up in getting loose.
She didn't like people helping; in fact often refused but in this case if she didn't take her offer in help then she would have to go pants-less...Lord knows that will never happen. To bad Kristen wasn't around because she never minded help from her. But that was because Teddí grew up around her and she become accustom.
"Yes. If you don't mind." Her sweet voice said as she cleared her throat. Teddí stood up and leaned over some so the girl would have room to help pull her free. As she worked on it she figured she would go ahead and introduce herself. "I'm Teddí." She gave a smile, not once looking to the girl...she couldn't.

Daylon worked on getting Teddi's pant leg free from the rocks. The rocks Teddi was stuck on were pretty big, but she used her wolf strength to push one of them out of the way, which freed Teddi. "Your free." She smiled. She heard the girls name was Teddi, and grinned. She thought that was a pretty cool name. "I'm Daylon..Daylon Black." She grinned.
She noticed that Teddi never looked at her, and she wondered if she was looking at something else. She looked around at there surroundings. There was really nothing to be looking at, and she wondered what exactly had caught Teddi's attention. She looked around, when she looked down and under a bush, which she was surprised she couldn't see, was a white cane. Daylon picked it up and studied it for a moment. After a few seconds, she remembered she'd seen people on TV with these canes. Blind people, though. She sighed some and knew what was going on now, but she didn't know how to say what she wanted to say without hurting Teddi's feelings. She wasn't discriminant to people like this, but she never did know how to talk to them exactly.
"I-I found your cane,Teddi. Its really nice to meet you." She smiled then sighed again. She really wished she knew how to talk to Teddi. "Umm is there anything you would like or want to know? I'm not shy at all. " She stepped back from Teddi a little. "The reason you probably didn't hear my footsteps..Well nevermind." She knew she had to keep quiet about what she was. She could sense Teddi was human, and she didn't want to risk exposing her self and the pack. Teddi was not a Quileute.

"Your free." Teddi gave a huge smile. "Thank you! I don't even know how I managed to wedge my pants leg in there." She laughed softly making a friendly joke gesture before placing her hands in her pants pockets. Her hair blew back lightly when the wind picked up, however, the wind didn't last very long. "I'm Daylon..Daylon Black." "Roselyn would be my last name."
"I-I found your cane,Teddi. Its really nice to meet you." Ted could hear a slight nervousness in Daylons voice...She would have to change that and make her feel more comfortable. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well." Teddi licked her dry lips and reached out for her cane, grabbing it with no problem. She could tell where it was simply by the darkness and lightness of things, which was hard to explain aloud. "Umm is there anything you would like or want to know? I'm not shy at all.""The reason you probably didn't hear my footsteps..Well nevermind."
She tilted her head a little to the side wondering what the rest of her unfinished sentence was. She decided not to push the issue any. Daylon could be a black belt or something. "Anything you want to say, I'm all ears.....Well, I am thirsty...There's a drink machine that way," She pointed with her cane then set the end on the ground. From coming here so many times she knew by heart where things were placed unless she spun around a couple times...Then she would need to find something familiar."I have money though. If you would walk with me?" She gave a friendly smile as the wind blew again. "As for the footsteps...." She began walking toward the drink machines, jumping off the rocks carefully. "I'm blind....my other senses are heightened. Just surprised me I didn't is all. No biggie." Once at the drink machine she pulled out a dollar bill from her pocket, knowing she stuck the ones in the right side, then placed it in the drink machine.. "I usually just go for a random drink surprise." She giggled. "But can you push Mountain Dew for me?"
Teddi finally shut up to let Daylon say whatever she would want to say. She did, after all, tell her she was all ears.

Daylon smiled and pushed the Mountain Dew button for Teddi, then held out the soda for her. "Here ya go." She was glad that she could be helping someone. "You know..Maybe we'll be good friends." She smiled some. She knew Teddi couldn't see it, but she knew that she could probably hear that Daylon was happy to have met a possible new friend. She knew herself that she was. She was really glad that she didn't completely scare Teddi to death. She did scare people sometimes, and she hated it. She was also random. That's what also scared people a lot.
She knew Teddi was probably wondering what she looked like, but she didn't know how she would ask something like that. "Umm okay weird question..I know your probably wondering what I look like. Would you like me to tell you or do you.." She sighed, not sure how to finish that question. She sighed some. "Sorry, I've never met someone that's blind before. I'm sure I'll get used to it once we know each other better." She tugged at a piece of her black curly hair nervously. She really hoped she'd get to know Teddi better, and then maybe she wouldn't sound like a complete and total idiot.

"Here ya go." Teddi reached out for her drink and unscrewed the bottle top. "Thank you." She smiled softly taking a sip. She put the lid on slowly then placed it in her back pocket so she wouldn't have to carry it. "You know..Maybe we'll be good friends." A smile come across the sixteen years olds face; she loved making friends. It was always a spirit lift to meet someone new.
"Umm okay weird question..I know your probably wondering what I look like. Would you like me to tell you or do you.." Teddi didn't mind questions...It was natural for a person to want to know. It was simple for her to get a visual of anothers face simply by feeling. Every person was different apart from identical twins, which she found absolutely extraordinary. "Sorry, I've never met someone that's blind before. I'm sure I'll get used to it once we know each other better." Ted nodded her head lightly. "I don't mind questions." She begin. "I usually touch their face. I may not have to correct visual but a visual nonetheless." She gave Day another smile. "If you don't mind...can I?" Ted was referring to touching Daylons face.

Daylon had to do some quick thinking. Like now. She thought to her self quickly. 'It'll be okay. Just calm down.' She quickly recomposed her self and calmed her thoughts. She would let Teddi get her visual. She knew that this would help for Teddi to get a good thought of who she was standing in front of and who she was talking to. She smiled and nodded, even though Teddi couldn't see it. "Yes, you can. Just careful. I'm slightly warm. I've been out in the sun for awhile." 'Nice one Day. That'll surely work!' She yelled at her self.'
She let her self go completely still, waiting for Teddi to come closer to explore her face. She was good at staying still, even if she hated to do it. She smiled. "Oh and..By the way, your really really pretty. I mean I know you can't see yourself, but your pretty." She hoped this wasn't the wrong thing to say. She was not one of those people that were always careful with their words. She often tended to slip up and say the wrong thing at times which made people mad, and that was something Daylon truly hated to do. "Oh and I'm going to say sorry in advance in case I say anything that may offend you. I really try to be careful with my words and sometimes it doesn't work."
