personality: Renata is an Elgegant and propper lady,she is respectful to men and her elders, she is also witty and flirtatious Renata is high spirited and playful she is charming and alluring, men are enchanted by her charms and free spirited way.

Renata is also a passionate woman and because of her playful way it is difficult to anger her, but once you have angered her it's best to stay out of her way Renata can be cold and ruthless someone hurts her emotionally and it will take her a while for her to forgive them. Renata has intergrated well into today's society she is able to blend in among the humans if she wishes it she can adopt the mannerism of today's youth just to fit in.

Renata is rather timid when it comes to Master Aro it's her feelings for him that makes her shy & submissive and protective of her sire she also loves him even though she knows he will never choose her. She dislikes being away from Aro and always worries about his safety. Renata also has feelings for her first husband Damon even though she knows he is dead she still misses him and often gets upset when she thinks about him.

detailed history: Renata was born in 1847 mystic falls Virginia. she was the adopted daughter of Mary & Alex Gilbert. Renata grew up into an upper-class society, she spent her childhood with her mother learning how to manage the house and keep the servants in check, she rarely got to see her father who was a successful business man at the time, from childhood Renata grew up and was constantly described as the most beautiful person in the world, she had elegance and class.

Around the age of Seventeen Renata was introduce to another wealthy family and their son . The nobleman Damon Gabriel Napolitiano, Renata spent the summer together with Damon getting to know him and simply enjoying his company, by mid Autumn Gabriel had asked for Mary & Alex’s blessing and proposed to Renata to which she accepted, The two had a winter wedding and got married in the back of the family estate.

Renata left Vigina with her husband and moved to Italy, Volterra, Renata & her Hustband arrived in Volterra & one evening she and her husband were cornered by a group of thugs Renata leaped in front of gunshot that was meant for her husband and was shot in the chest. Renata's Husband was shot next in the heart and died as soon as he hit the ground as far as she knows.

Renata jewelery even her wedding ring was taken from her, Aro eventually found Renata allured by the scent of her blood & found her dying on the street. Aro changed Renata on a whim and took her back to the to the castle. Renata went through unbarable pain and three days later she became a vampire. Renata went through the typical savage newborn phase she was kept in the castle at all time.

After a while Renata regained her state of mind, she learned she had a gift that would later prove valuble to Aro. Renata was a shield that could divert physical attacks. Aro trained Renata and taught her how to use her gift & Eventually Renata fell in love with her master. Renata kept her feelings to herself and never told her master that she loved him, instead she stood by his side at all times ready to protect her master & shield her master if needed.
