Feeling slightly better being away from Forks. This is just what Edward needed. But, the thought of not seeing Brooke's beautiful face all day long did indeed bother him. He just updated his cell phone as well so he could call long distance if he needed....And he might need it. This separation was killing him. But as much as he hated he had to be away from her. He hated his job some times as she hated it as well. She told him once that she would try and get a job so she would not shop so much. That made him smile a bit at that thought. She was a shop alcoholic. It would take her a while to accomplish that. But he had faith in her. Maybe she would surprised him when he arrived back home at Forks. He's even asked her to move here after they get married and she said yes. So that made his job a lot more easy on him..... That was one thing...on his mind. The other was being here and back so soon. He never thought he would be here so soon. But apparently he was not needed for any special training. So he was ordered to come here and work for a few days. As he was walking down a drafty hall way, he recognized where he was... >>Clicky<< XDYes at the very place where that had happened. He sighed simply blocking the image out of his mind and walked away from the door.....He had a lot of paper work to do and that was where he was headed...Back to his room to do just that. As he caught the scent of some one else near him. He just wanted to be alone. Was that so hard? He also knew Brooke would be wondering why he had not called..... |

 Athenodora was in her room in the castle she had a lot going on her mind as she walked into a room. Made her way over to a guard and told him to find Edward and bring him to her. She needed to talk to this man. There was some question that needs answers. She knew who his so called father was a friend to them. And Edward was the golden child this didn’t make sense that he would just go against them in a way and join her family. This all didn’t make sense and then the question about the human girl. That really didn’t make sense to her. She remembers Caius telling her how Edward was in love with her and now he just moved on to now Brooke who he was marrying. Athenodora moved and sat down on a chair as she looked outside a window.
In the mean while a guard made his way over to Edward ‘Athenodora would like to speak with you she’s in the library. Make your way over there’ he said looking at Edward for a couple of seconds and then went on his way. Athenodora didn’t go into the library a lot for so many different kinds of reason. She didn’t read books for most of the time she didn’t want to bother and think of the past of humans. She started to get impatience which made her stand up and walk over to the books and looked over then all. Placing her hand over a couple of them, maybe reading would be nice she was more into drawing or theatre was nice sometimes humans could be good for something else then food.

‘Athenodora would like to speak with you she’s in the library. Make your way over there’
That made Edward sigh. As he nodded at the man and walked on towards the library. On the way there as his feet clanked the floor lightly he thought that this was merely a meeting of finding out who he really was and why he was with the Volturi. Every Volturi member was asking him the same question 'Why?'. Why would he leave the Cullens to join them? Edward knew most of them were not there at that meeting Aro held in Port Angele's....So this was nothing new to him to explain his situation. As Edward walked in to the library he saw looking over a row of books. She looked like the type that did not read much. Where as Edward would read any thing and everything he could get hands on...He's read every book here....Some more than once...."My lady...You wished to see me?" He asked with a calm manner as he walked up to her....He took a book off the shelf...Amazingly it was a copy of Macbeth...One of his favorites of all the time. He considered himself a book warm....But no one else here would even care about that all they were worried about really was why he was here...And here was another wandering the very same thing he could read her mind like a book....

Athendora turned to look at him “You know why you are standing in front of me. Many have asked you these questions maybe more than once. Other than the fact that you left the Cullen for what reason?” she asked he was the golden child of them. His power was very strong having him in her family would make the stronger now if they could get Alice in here it would be prefect. But why would someone leave their family that’s really all vampires ever hand it did not make any kind of sense. “Now your marring Brooke what happen with the human girl you ones loved so very much you would do anything for” she asked him.
This was all so true people could not just change how they loved for someone. It was wrong for him to do this. She was happy for his power and yet she didn’t want him here because what it took for him to come here. “You don’t feed on humans like the rest of us, even though it will make you stronger. Does your family even know you’re here? Does that girl know? Please do explain every single detail” she said sitting down. Her thoughts would be open now because he could read her mind she knew this and she was ok. There was nothing that she was hiding but there had to be something he was.

It was obvious. She wanted to know. “Now your marring Brooke what happen with the human girl you once loved so very much you would do anything for”
"Unfortunately she found another love to replace me. But that doesn't give any one here the higher and go and kill her simply because she chose another. I can't let her get harmed any more by my actions..."

Makes you stronger huh? Edward had once before killed and he could not stand the way it made you feel after wards. But if he had to, he would be more careful with the food he chooses. He would watch his prey very closely.....And do history on them before the kill would take place....Luckily nothing has made him want human blood since Isabella no longer really mattered to him. And she was safe with Jacob...He was heart broken even though his heart was dead in his chest he was...That she ended it.

When I was first turned, it nearly killed me every-time I would drain some one...That was not the way I wanted it to be.....I had no choice but leave the human you speak of, her life would be spared if I left her well enough alone...And I have. I have found another to love me just as much...And that human will not even compare to Brooke...But I've not left the Cullens...Seeing as that is still my last name...I can't leave them....I tend to visit them often..."
