Port Angeles has become the new home for the Volturi reason being it was close to forks and would mean they are able to watch over forks and the areas close to it. However, now Aro had one mission that was to teach Jewel how to feed on humans so she can live, without blood at her age she would die and that would put a clink in the plan Aro then makes his way out to the back of the manor to the wide open space which was used for Training. The back of the manor was rather deserted other than a few vampires hanging out sitting on the chairs outside of the double doors leading to the lobby of the manor, Aro didn’t mind the fact they were there but they seemed to be talking about plans to check out the local forks high school. Aro waited outside for his daughter to arrive she had to learn eventually and now he had some time to teach her the ways of his kind. How she would, take it was touch and go she could very well refuse to drink blood or she could dive right in without any questions this was the path Aro was hoping for but he has lived many lifetimes and seen other young vampires refuse to drink and they end up dying in pain, but he had amassed quite an army over his life time one that has come to be feared and praised he hears the foot steps behind him he speaks saying. “Is time my dear to learn how are kind survive and how to hide Evidence when the deed is done.” Only time would tell if she would become the daughter Aro is hoping she will or will she just be a newborn that he would have to kill later in life. The vampires sat behind them looked towards Aro and nodded knowing he would want a human for his own ends, they had already found one and had him locked up in the basement of the manor, an till it was time for his death which was fast arriving he was homeless so no one would miss him and no one would ask questions. |

Jewel giggled as she ran playfully with two guards following right behind her she was outside and loved making things difficult for the two guards who were assigned to watch her, she thought it was funny. The burning in her throat never left her, but having these men to distract her it was fun. "There she is Get her." one of the guards yelled he lunged at Jewel and the girl ducked and watched the guard go over her and fall face first into the muddy ground.
Jewel looked back to see the guard try to dive at her like the first one, Jewel raised her hand and created a purple wall that smacked into the guards face and repell him back a great distance. Jewel jumped up and clapping her hands and giggling out of joy "haha can't catch me." She laughed, she stopped when she suddenly felt strong arms around her and lifting her off the ground "I GOT HER" the first guard yelled. Jewel pouted "aww monkey poop" she mumbled The guard started to carry her towards Aro's location "troublesome little scamp" he spoke, Jewel poked her tongue out mischiviously she was having fun.
The guards carried Jewel to the back of the manner and dropped her on the ground. unlike most vampires jewel lacked grace and fell on her butt and pouted "Meanie" she grumbled at the guard and poked her tongue out, The guard's eye twitched "brat" Jewel pouted and picked herself up.
She walked towards Aro and saw his back and heard him speak “Is time my dear to learn how are kind survive and how to hide Evidence when the deed is done.” Jewel continued to walk towards Aro and she stepped to his side then in front of him Jewel smiled "that sounds fun...how do we play papa" she spoke calling him papa for the first time Jewel grabbed his hand and smiled playfully her thoughts hidden by her ability.

Aro smiled as he heard the sounds of his daughter coming closer to him and the guard in toe, he knew she could out smart them but they where the best so he would let them carry on acting as bodyguards they were doing their jobs to the best of their skills which was all he could ask of them even if they let anything happen to her they would be burn alive the leaders where ruthless but they had to be in order to protect the way of their order and way of life.
Jewel was a handful he would not have taken her on if she had no powers but she could become a valued member of the guard, even if she is still young she would remain like that for the rest of her life, so she would grow up without growing up he felt her grab his hand and could see she was hiding her memoirs from him maybe it was good thing she did, learning her powers would help her later in life,
“You know You should not hide your thoughts from me little one hide them from people who will try to cause you harm and trust me you will come across people like that, we may be powerful but we still need to keep are wits about us now I’ve taken the chance to pick a human for you to feed on. Is simple you just pin him down and bite his neck, that’s how simple it is, but you need to be careful if you get to blood thirsty you will end up being seen or found out and that would be bad.
With that, Aro snaps his fingers and two vampires come out with what looks like a human from the basement, he was homeless so no one would miss him, the smell was terrible but he could not risk killing someone who would be missed. He looks to his daughter and speaks again saying. “Sorry about the smell darling but I couldn’t let you kill someone who would be missed, us being here is tough following the rules of the humans[/b]
The thrill of the first kill was what all vampires stride for the taste of fresh blood the screams or moans of the Victim was music to vampires and some would even play with their target before moving in for the kill, but the Volturi where Old style so it was kill and feed it was how they had done it for many a lifetime and they had no plans to change it in the times to come

Jewel looked at her father we was a beautiful man, his skin chalky white it was so pale. she smiled happy to find such a nice man to take care of her. “You know You should not hide your thoughts from me little one hide them from people who will try to cause you harm and trust me you will come across people like that, we may be powerful but we still need to keep are wits about us now I’ve taken the chance to pick a human for you to feed on. Jewel listened to her father confused "I am not hiding what I am thinking....am I?" she asked curriously, She watched her father snap his fingers
A few seconds later two guards came out with a human, she smelled the human immediantly and frowned "eww" she spoke and pulled up a bit of her dress to cover her nose with the fabric "he smells like tinkle" she complained
Jewel looked up at her father “Sorry about the smell darling but I couldn’t let you kill someone who would be missed, us being here is tough following the rules of the humans" Jewel smiled still holding her father's hand 'it's ok papa, it's the thought that counts." she spoke with a smile.
Jewel looked back the human "Tackle...pin....Bite." she spoke calmly as she let go of her papa's hand. Jewel closed her eyes and concentrated she smelt the foul odor of the human's flesh, but under the flesh was something else the pulse of the human's blood traveling through the veins of the human's body was something that smelled delicious...blood.
Jewel opened her eyes and ran towards the human she pounced the human her statuesc body making the hobo fall to the ground, she sat on top of him and heard him scream in fear Jewel Hissed rather savegely and placed her hands on both shoulders she leaned down to the neck and took a massive bite ripping out a chunk of the filthy flesh and spitting it out behind her she made a funny face like she was tasting a sour lollypop. and the scent of the blood only became stronger.
Jewel Leaned down and started to feast on the human ignoring the screams of agony that he yelled, the human's heart pounded against the chest, the blood tasted so good as it washed down her throat dulling the burning sensation in her neck. Jewel's small fingertips tightened cutting into the human's flesh as she fed off him.

 Athenodora miss Italy so much it was the place that she lived with Volturi’s she understood that they need to move closer to Folks and yet she also wished they didn’t need to. What happened if someone tried to get into their castle when they were there? For awhile she did not go with them even Caius stayed with her in the castle but when he had left she knew that she had to go. She didn’t feel safe if Marcus, Caius or Aro weren’t in the castle. The women didn’t have power or gifts like the others. She was not bitten for a gift. She was turned because she and Caius fell in love. Her past was a blur to her, there was really nothing she remember only when she met Caius everything else meant nothing to her.
Now being in the castle the one in Port Angeles she knew that feeding was going to be different they couldn’t just kill on anyone like they did in Italy they had to be very careful. She understood all too well as she walked through the castle. There was so one knew that Aro was train the girl was young. Athenodora didn’t know the whole story on how she came to be here. However she did know that Aro liked her and called her his daughter which was interesting. She loved her family but when someone knew came she was always a little bit unsure about everything going on.
As she moved to the back of the castle she could smell blood not any kind of blood either it was human blood her red eyes look over Aro daughter to see her having her first kill. The thought of Caius came into her head as she moved and sat down on a chair looking at the other Volturi’s around her. When she was first turned into a vampire, Athenodora was scared she wasn’t sure if she could handle the fact of drinking blood. However with Caius on her side she felt she could so anything. Though now as she watched the girl have her first taste of blood. Her body felt a emotion of sadness because she would never be able to give any true help to the Volturi’s she had no power just love for them and Caius was what she gave.

Aro began to watch as Jewel started to attack the homeless person she was learning fast and that was a very good sign for if she is to join the guard at some point she would have to be supervised encase she did anything that would lead to humans becoming aware of the Existence of their kind. The new born where already making the presence of vampires known to humans which is one of the others reasons this threat must be removed from the field of play, but at the moment there has been no reports off any more sightings so maybe just maybe they stopped only time would tell.
As the smell of blood began to float around the courtyard the others vampires began to want some but they knew, that this kill was for Jewel and no one would risk annoying Aro being he would kill without a second thought. He then felt the presence of someone entering the courtyard. It was that off Athenodra one of the wifes of the leaders; it was odd for her to be out without Caius but saying that Caius was away on Volturi Business after all the arrangement he had with Aro was that of Business colleague.
He Turns to towards her and watches as she sits down and speaks to her saying. “Fancy seeing you here Athenodra I believe Caius is still away on Business I don’t know when he will arrive back but I have left a message for him to tell him to come here when he is able to, an till then feel free to make use of this manor well your are here, your room is next to Caius. This young girl beside us is one of the new vampires with a special power but she’s is too weak to join the guard at moment so im allowing her to be trained up so she is able to.

Jewel continued to taste the blood and felt most of the blood was gone & her thirst & the burning feeling in her throat was less intensified. Jewel ripped deeper into the neck like a savage and the human was long dead and Jewel was giggling like a school girl she pulled out and smiled her lower face covered in blood, it started to drip onto her dress.
Jewel's dress was already bloodstained it was the dress she wore the night she was turned a halloween costume, she had dressed up as carrie the dress had fake blood, but also had her own blood from when a car struck her.
Jewel looked at the beautiful lady that had just arrived & ran to Aro and hid behind him shyly, she had not seen this lady before and had no idea who she was, Jewel bit her bottom lip with her face still covered in blood, she peeked at the lady from beside her papa and heard him speak “Fancy seeing you here Athenodra I believe Caius is still away on Business I don’t know when he will arrive back but I have left a message for him to tell him to come here when he is able to, an till then feel free to make use of this manor well your are here, your room is next to Caius. This young girl beside us is one of the new vampires with a special power but she’s is too weak to join the guard at moment so im allowing her to be trained up so she is able to." Jewel raised a wall in front of him protectively.
She held her papa's hand and continued to peek she could see her purple see through wall standing between athenodora & aro & herself. Jewel bloody face smiled playfully as she continued to peek out from behind her papa, she watched the lady and then looked up at papa waiting for what would happen next.

Athenodora watched for the girl did Aro change her if so why she was just so young to be bitten the girl looked to be around the same age as Alec and Jane so interesting. One of the rules was to never change someone who was so young. It was strange and weird to her event everything really. She found herself sitting there in worried that such a young girl being turn might do some kind of damn to the Volturi’s. She heard what Aro said “Yes but I felt like so fresh air would do some well and I could smell something going on” she said but then all of sudden there was a wall it was purple and it made her confused and sad in another was as she stood up at looked at this wall.
She didn’t have any power like the rest of them so she could do anything to break it or try to break it she just stood there. It hurt and she tried to not to remember but she couldn’t help the fact that she was just worry that if Caius ever for some reason stop loving her what would happen to her. She was not used for them just a wife that was all. “I can see that” she said looking down at the girl. This is why she was change because of her power because that was why everyone was change expected for her. Athenodora would never hurt Aro she couldn’t and the fact made her move to sit back down. If she could try or have some kind of feel she probably would have not right in front of everyone but on her own where no one could see her.

Aro watched as Jewel put a shield between them and Athenodora, she had a lot to learn about the Volturi Athenodora one of the higher ranked members of the Royal family along with her Husband she’s someone you shouldn’t cross as the result could be very bad for the person who does. It would her power was growing stronger, maybe the feeding helped in some strange way but he turned to Jewel and spoke saying. “Dear this is Athenodora she is married to Caius one of the other leaders like myself, you don’t need to worry you will meet a lot of new people as you progress and you don’t always need to protect me, my own people would never dare harm me and besides I have Renata to protect me.[/b]
As he was speaking, he stopped by the sound off footsteps moving towards them, it was one of the guards of the manor grounds, the guard stops and whispers something in Aro ear before heading back towards the main manor gates, he sighs and sits down beside Athenodora and speaks saying. “It would seem we have a small breach in security someone has made it into the grounds of this manor don’t worry my men are dealing with the issue as we speak. Now Jewel gets to know Athenodora you will be spending time with the wifes when I am busy with work.[/b]
Aro knew something was bugging Athenodora but he wouldn’t use his power to find out as that could upset things between the two if she wanted to talk to Aro he would let her do it in her own time, After all she may not be his wife but she is a Volturi Wife and that alone means he would protect her if the need ever arrived. That was the meaning of the word loyal Aro may not show it but if was to lose any of the guard or any high level Volturi it would hit him very hard. And with the pending battle on the horizon some may very well die.

Jewel looked at her papa waiting to see what she wanted to keep him safe & make her new father happy. “Dear this is Athenodora she is married to Caius one of the other leaders like myself, you don’t need to worry you will meet a lot of new people as you progress and you don’t always need to protect me, my own people would never dare harm me and besides I have Renata to protect me." Jewel looked at her papa and nodded her head , she lowered the wall in front of them and smiled at Athenodora wow she is a pretty lady...I wonder who Renata is and why this Renata is not protecting papa now. she thought to herself
Jewel found herself too preoccupied looking at Athenodora, she waved shyly to Athenodora and heard footsteps moving towards her, Jewel looked and saw it was one of the guards the guard looked like a giant to Jewel she could hear the whispers, and looked at papa as the giant went back to the main gates, her papa sighed and Jewel pouted, she watched as her papa moved to sit beside Athenodora “It would seem we have a small breach in security someone has made it into the grounds of this manor don’t worry my men are dealing with the issue as we speak. Now Jewel gets to know Athenodora you will be spending time with the wifes when I am busy with work.
Jewel nodded her head "yes papa" she spoke innocently, the girl moved towards Athenodora and tripped over falling onto the ground, Jewel frowned as she was on the ground and slowly got up and smiled as she moved in front of Athenodora with the smile still plastered on her face blod soaked face "hello My name is Jewel...you look very pretty" she spoke sounding Jewel reached out for Athenodora's hand.

It took some time for make all the emotions she was feeling to go away. Even if she did not have any kind of power to keep herself or help the Volturi’s she did have one thing if someone were to mess with her Athenodora had a way to get back at them. Some point she would want to take to him but for now she would have to wait. “Yes sweetie no one around us who live in this castle or part of the Volturi’s would dare to hurt Aro. If it wasn’t for him and the other elders we wouldn’t be around” she said looking over at the girl as the wall went away she smiled down at Jewel. Athenodora never had her own child and she was fond of them when she was a human.
However she loved Caius way too much then to have a child of her own and looking at Jewel it seemed to have been nice to see a small girl that acted the age she looked to be. As Aro moved to sit next to her and hearing that someone was in the castle did strike a bit of alarm on her. Soon the problem would be taken care of. Athenodora moved and looked over at Aro she place her hand on his so he could feel everything that she was thinking or feeling. How she felt useless, scared to what would happened if for some reason Caius didn’t love her, or what was to come, even the confusion of the girl being here. “So point I would like to talk to you” she said and then turned her attention back over at the girl.
Who had now been staring at her for some time, as she trip and feel to the ground Athenodora looked at her in hopes that she was ok. “It is nice to meet you Jewel as Aro told you I am Athenodora. And thank you sweetie you do look very pretty” Athenodora moved taking a piece of cloth and dipping it into water as she moved over to wipe the blood from Jewel face if she let her. “A pretty little girl like you should always look her bed. Have you not bought clothes yet…maybe one day when you’re ready to leave the castle I will take you” she said smiling at her.

Aro was surprised when Athenodora placed her hand on his; he never read any of the wife’s not evens his own but something was bugging her and he was going to see if he could help her in anyway has their hands made contact Athenodra full life flashed before him from her child hood to the present day. There were memories kept locked away but being how strong his power is he was able to read them to, she indeed had many things on her mind but what really court his eye was how she felt helpless and how she believes she’s not helping the Volturi this just wouldn’t do he would help her see who she really is.
He smiles to Jewel and then back to Athenodora and speaks saying. “You don’t need to feel like this dear, you are as much a part of the Volturi as me, and I know you wish you had powers but you bring something to the Volturi worth more than that, that is called Love. Caius loves you more then you know and you have nothing to fear Caius will not leave you for any reason I have known him for Centuries and he is to set in is way to change, and you are a Volturi wife and that alone should make you feel happy you are there when we need you and you even help us with the ruling off the vampires nation.
If you still feel as if you are useless, you can always show Jewel the local shops where we shop and maybe get her some new clothes fitting her standing and position within the Volturi. He lets go of her hand and looks back to Jewel “Dear I want you to look at Athenodora as your aunt she is the more social one out of the group, if you listen to her and act how she does you will make a fine young lady and a member of the guard, which reminds the reason Renata is not here at the moment is she is keeping an eye on forks high school, she is my bodyguard so do not worry I am quite safe.

Jewel looked at Athenodora with a grin watching her curiously as something went on between her and papa she noticed Athenodora was now watching her and she tilted her head to the side innocently as she listened to the lady speak “So point I would like to talk to you”
Jewel felt a little confused at the lady but stayed silent listening to her continue to speak. “It is nice to meet you Jewel as Aro told you I am Athenodora. And thank you sweetie you do look very pretty” Jewel smiled liking the lady, she sounded very friendly she continued to watch as Athenodora took a piece of cloth and dipped it into water, she then moved the cloth to Jewels face and wipe away the blood from her face.
The girl giggled as Athenodora cleaned her face “A pretty little girl like you should always look her bed. Have you not bought clothes yet…maybe one day when you’re ready to leave the castle I will take you” Jewel nodded "thank you" she spoke in a friendly tone

She knew with place her hand on his that he would not her from a child to the age she was now. However she didn’t remember her childhood so it was fine with her she only remembers the time with Caius it was interesting because she just watched him and soon he was done. Like he was had just flipped right through a book and then he was talking to her. She knew all of that but maybe she just needed someone to tell her that. Other than Caius well Aro was the next best thing. She really did look up to him and the words that he spoke. Even though there were the three elders she felt in her mind that Aro was the really leader of all of them. That was why it would have been stupid if someone was to ever hurt him.
“Yes I believe you Aro, I suppose I just needed someone to tell me this but I have to say I do get a bit jealous with all the new vampire coming and all the new born...We will need every power…And well I just needed someone to remind me that I am a part of the Volturi’s” she said looking over at him when she felt Aro let go of her hand Athenodora moved and placed it back down her leg now looking back over at Jewel it would be interesting the girl looked to be interesting. The way she called Aro papa seemed to be interesting to. She was never really called Aunties before and as she felt Jewel jump into her lap she moved and hugged the girl lightly.
Athenodora smiled looking at the girl “Sweetie you need to understand that when you’re in this castle your safe and Aro will be fine” she said smelling the once warm blood on the girl her eyes turn a bit more different as she felt a bit hungry now she could see the other vampires around her that were also hungry. With this entire new vampire they had to be careful of hunting. “Aro when are we all go back home” for her this was not home this was just a place for vacation Italy was her home. Athenodora rest her arms around Jewel she could move if she wanted to or stay where she was too.

Aro smiled as he watched Jewel become friends with her Aunt, he knew she would be safe with her as no one would dare hurt the wife’s, Aro listened to Athenodora speak about how she just needed someone to reassure her she was helping them Volturi she also listened to her ask him when they would return to Italy that was a good question the answer even he did not know an till this new born issue is over the Volturi or stuck in this useless place called Port Angeles. “Well you best get use to the fact we going to be here for awhile, an till we can find out who’s behind the Newborn attacks and end this problem then we can return back to Italy where is warm, Jesus how can the worms called humans live in this cold, hell im dead and even im feeling the cold, crappy manor has no heat I must fix that somehow. However, for now just stay close to the manor and if you leave take some guards with you. No doubt, the Cullen’s know we are here so i do not want to risk crossing into their grounds unless we have to.
