She followed him with a grin upon her face, one of which could not be stolen, taken, or forced from her face. The air with in her chest lingered and nearly created a moment of pure ecstasy with in the hybrid, and she could only giggle at him. It should have all be over-whelming, because suddenly having an entire pack of shape-shifters to look after her should have been a lot out of the blue; Kaylee Roberts did not seem to mind it. From somewhere it would seem as though she once more had someone to care for her, to look after her and keep her safe where her father did not. The entire time he spoke, Kaylee’s eyes moved between his eyes and his lips. And she followed him wherever he was taking her, with out any hesitation or future thought to where they were heading.
Casting a glance upward toward him, the short little half-vampire nodded before walking into the house with him. She did not mind a mess, because she had once lived on her own with out any clue as to how to keep a house clean; she would not disclose to him that she had once lived with in the large Volturi castle with out a maid and a cook and all of those other indecent necessities. She enjoyed entertaining the thought of perhaps living a nearly human life if she was permitted to do so with Colin- and that thought at the current moment was the best thought. As soon as she had pondered sitting down it seemed as though he was back into the room, declaring he was ready to go. Everything was beginning to pull at her, push her down, and weigh her to the core of the earth. In one swift movement, she walked over to him and wrapped her tiny arms around him as best she could, standing on her tip toes and burying her face in his chest. “Thank you,” She whispered, as though he would understand what she meant. A moment later she looked up to him, while still holding on to his warm body, she smiled to him; she was ready to spend the day with him. She silently promised to smile for every moment of the day as they gazed into each other’s eyes.
