I’ll never talk again Oh girl you’ve left me speechless, so speechless It was dark, very dark and for some reason his eyes wouldn’t adjust to it, his eyes were supposed to adjust to it, he was a werewolf after all. Things were darting out at him, he couldn’t see them but he could hear and smell them, vampires. God how he hated vampires. Collin jumped out, trying to catch them when he caught another sent and another sound, a girl he could tell by the cry and he could smell she was human. Another sounds, to his left and the next thing he knew he was knocked over. His body he could feel falling but he felt out of it.
Crash.
Collin shot up from the floor “Fudge.” he shouted looking from the floor to his bed. The last couple nights he had got no sleep, he couldn’t get any with the dreams he had been having, and the dreams were the same every night. A girl he couldn’t get to and vampires that he wanted so badly to kill. A shitty awakening each morning left him pissed off for a few hours today he was going to try and get rid of the feeling with a hot shower and a walk on the beach. First beach had always seemed to cheer him up, even as a kid he would go walking on it, rain or shine, snow or sand if there was something wrong with Collin he was out there. Crossing his room and shedding his clothes as he did so he made his way toward his bathroom, trying to shake the feeling of being stalked. He was supposed to be the stalker not the other way around. It was in the blood that ran through his veins, from the first time his great, great, great grandfather had shifted the gift of the grey wolf pulsed through his veins.
Running his fingers through his hair C.J turned on the tap and started his shower. The hot water beating on his back felt good, it relaxed his muscles and let his body recharge. He was so peaceful he almost fell asleep; actually he was practically asleep until he heard banging at his washroom door. “What the fudge do you want ?” he yelled out not opening his eyes. “Hurry up!!!” was the reply he got, not feeling like fighting his brother; not biologically but they were so close it felt like they were brothers. He stepped out of the shower wrapped himself in a towel and walked to his room. “All yours princess,” he called out to his roommate before closing his door and making his way over to the dresser. C.J never understood how it took girls so long to get ready; it barely took him five minutes. First his boxers and today all he was putting on was a pair of jogging pants, and plain gray t-shirt.
Walking down the steps of his packs home he made his way to the kitchen, really he wanted to be at the beach but he couldn’t leave the house without having a snack first. Opening the cupboard he grabbed a box of frosted flakes and a bowl; from the fridge he grabbed the milk carton. It took him less than five minutes to guzzle down two bowls of cereal and a glass of milk. With a sigh of relief on his stomach he stood up and put his thong sandals on and made the short trip down to the beach. For such a nice day the beach wasn’t overly crowded yet, besides one person it was actually empty. The person was a girl, a girl C.J had never meet…he stood staring at the girl with the fire red hair.

There had not been much to do as of lately for her; she had earned some time off from the bar, though she could honestly use the money to keep ahead of her bills and have a little extra pocket money, but she had felt the time to be right. They were on fall break at school, meaning she had the largest amount of time on her hands. Seattle had grown boring, specifically just her tiny little apartment. The rest of Washington needed exploring, though she had visited most of the places through her life already. Restless but rather relaxed, she ached for the beach. The calm sand, the soothing sound of the water crashing on the shoreline, and the feel of the breeze playing with her hair and dancing on her skin seemed utterly appealing. The strong feeling to play her guitar had hit her as she had risen from bed and it was stronger than usual. Fingers eager and her heart filled with nothing but song, Kaylee gathered her notebooks full of songs and her guitar with First Beach in mind. Though the beach was a little far away, she had made the plans to stay there all day... no matter the weather. Gloom or bright, she intended to make the best out of her day. She had to admit, the drive was not so bad and the rewards would be worth it. Stepping foot out of the car and grabbing her things, she felt the slightly warm breeze rolling off the top of the ocean. Her white t-shirt and fitted blue jeans were very much appropriate for the weather, seeing as it was all just right- not too hot, and not too cold. Removing her shoes before she even saw the sand only made it that much more exciting for the little halfbreed. Smiling as her toes sunk into the sand, she giggled and danced her way to the perfect spot on the shore. Pitching the blanket she had also grabbed from her couch before leaving, she quickly climbed atop it and sat down, reaching instantly for her guitar. Pick in hand, she began strumming over the tightened cords, creating a slightly upbeat, rather energetic tone. Her smile never wavered as she began to sing openly and freely toward the sea, as if she was serenading it in its entirety. Her eyes were bright; there was absolutely no way she could have been considered anything but happy. "Let's make a mess with a kiss in the moment. You and me, everything that could be. Touch, don't go.. Stay as long as you like..."Her playing continued, as did her singing, until she noticed another human being just out of her peripheral vision. The red-haired female turned her head toward the person, only to notice he was staring at her. Still smiling from ear to ear, she stopped strumming her guitar. Waving to him softly, she called to the stranger. "Did I happen to take your spot?" Giggling, she gazed back at him only in hopes he was not a threat of any sort. She personally knew most Vampires were not allowed on this land, but she did not consider herself one... she was only a hybrid and she meant absolutely no harm. If the young man did turn out to be here to run her off, she would not object. Still, she felt it best to stay inviting.

I’ll never talk again Oh girl you’ve left me speechless, so speechless Colin heard the voice of a female singing out into the sea. Thanks to his keen wolf senses, he could easily pick up on her voice as he stood staring at her like an idiot. He look directly at her… her voice smooth like perfectly melted chocolate… and it was as if his entire world abruptly morphed into a new, improved universe. A jolt ran through him, shocking him into speechlessness as she peered back at him without waver. His lips parted to speak but no words came out. Instead he flexed his mouth a couple of times. His face felt hot, too hot, and he suddenly forgot what it was he’d intended on asking. Colin’s mind was exploding… he felt riveted to the spot as if frozen and yet, there was an unmistakable, instinctive realization that should where this girl move, he’d follow. It was overwhelming, this sense of both instantaneous attachment as well as lingering apprehension. Oh, he had an idea of what was happening. After all, his one of his closest friends had previously imprinted and they shared a mental link between their wolf forms. Colin had little doubt the very same thing was occurring now but that didn’t mean he wasn’t more than a little freaked out about it. He didn’t even have a girlfriend…
“Um,” he mumbled, unable to do much else besides stand there and force himself not to gawk. This girl was more than beautiful to him. She was his light in a world gone dark, his flame on a cold winter’s night… she was perfect, absolutely perfect, and he didn’t even know her name. “I’m uh,” he tried again, his cheeks staining crimson with embarrassment. He couldn’t stop looking at her. Her light colored eyes were so intense; it was as if she could see right through to his soul itself. Maybe she could! He felt as if his soul had entwined with hers, forever linking him to her no matter what. It was a love that ran pure, without the added ingredient of lust. The imprint was too new for Colin to feel more than acknowledgement of her stunning good looks. For now, he was caught up within the heightened frenzy of his erratic heartbeat. Enraptured… that’s what he felt like. Spellbound in a sense, Colin shuffled his feet and silently hollered for Jake or Quil or someone to tell him what the hell he was supposed to do now.
“Uh no…you didn’t…” Colin could feel the reluctance to leave her side. Already he so quickly dismissed the remainder of his day’s plans in order to hopefully serenade this female before him. His eyes scanned over her form, noticing she was extremely short compared to him and rail thin. Did she eat? Worry gnawed in the pit of his stomach, the desire for her to be happy rising above even his own personal wishes.
He stuck his hand out, flashing a nervous smile while simultaneously resisting the urge to wipe a hand across his brow. “I’m Colin,” he told her, “Colin Sioux… from the Rez. Reservation that is… La Push. You know of it?” He was curious now, unspoken inquiries burning the tip of his tongue. He wanted to know more about her, learn all there was that made her tick. He was probably being a pain in her butt! Uhg, he felt like a complete loser! He should have asked for her name first, before introducing himself like such a native jock, “Uh, I wouldn’t mind knowing your name…” He said, chuckling once as if laughter would chase away the butterflies going haywire inside him. “I was uh…was going for a walk,” he stated, his gaze leaving her face briefly to regard the mentioned his nature walk as if he was surprised to see they were still there at the First Beach. “You have a beautiful voice…” he finished, feeling terribly foolish…

Giggles filled her stomach and a feeling of airlessness surrounded her as she gazed up at him happily. Warmth comforted her as he continued staring down at her, nervously speaking almost broken sentences for a moment. There had never been an instance in which she felt so comfortable with a stranger; she would neither doubt the feeling nor completely embrace it at the moment. She easily noticed his eyes scanning her and her cheeks glowed with slight embarrassment; she had never felt herself something amazing or particularly beautiful at which to stare. Resting her upper body on her guitar in her lap lightly, she stared at him nearly adoringly. She had no plans for the day, but this Colin seemed to be making quite the impression only in the few moments of their meeting. Kaylee easily decided to trust him, as well as strike up any conversation with him she could- wanting to keep him here as quick as possible. The words came from his mouth, on the Reservation. Her heart skipped a beat, but she continued to keep her smile up. The thought of being chased off by such a nice young man would most likely only damper her day. She had not meant any harm by coming on their land, none at all. She had thought, if anything, she could pass for a human. She discarded the thought, replacing them with the happier emotion from earlier. “I’m Kaylee. I live in Seattle, actually.” She quieted down for a moment and blushed again at his compliment. “Aww, thanks…” Her voice was one of the only things she enjoyed about herself and greatly appreciated the compliment. “I’m, uh… sorry if I happen to be… trespassing,” Kaylee spoke almost nervous. “I can certainly leave if me being here is a problem.”

I’ll never talk again Oh girl you’ve left me speechless, so speechless “So you’re a city girl ” He smile down at her, wondering now if she was dating anyone. What if she was married? Did anyone ever stop to think about that?! A rapid peek down at her left hand confirmed there was no ring so he could only hope that meant she wasn’t too involved with someone else. Just then he realized the absurdity of his question and his face flushed deeply once more. Wait! Seattle is destroy right now with leeches…Kaylee not safe there! “Kaylee…” he said her name for the first time, a tingle sensation for his taste buds. He tried not sound like a stalker or scares her. “Seattle not a very safe place, I hear its getting dangerous over there. Uh, don’t worry! You’re not trespassing at all, matter of fact, think of this place as your second home. I do…” He wanted to slap his hand across his forehead. This was why he was single. It was so much easier fixing the radiator in a car than it was trying to make chitchat with an attractive female, let alone the added depth of an imprint’s effects. “Oh jeez,” he added, “I’m not doing a good job of this… am I? Can we start over? ” He smiled shyly, praying she would give him a second chance before writing him off as a total freak. “Hi, I’m Colin and I’d really like to take you out to dinner sometime,” he said with more confidence than he felt. “It doesn’t have to be as a date… if you don’t want it to be. I mean, just as friends, that would be cool too,” he finished, shutting his mouth then and counting to ten in his head. How long would it take for her to accept or deny his invitation? If she told him no, what then? He didn’t want to leave…he couldn’t. Kaylee had become his sun and he was the planet orbiting her shine. Wait, he was probably rushing things!? He look down at her with a soft expression, " You don't have to answer that...I'm moving to fast. Forgive me." He hesitantly sat down next to her. He didn't care if he was sitting in sand, he was just happy to be next to her like this. "We can hang here and talk about...stuff." He said, feeling his stomach twist into triple knots.

From ear to ear her smile continued to grow, the corners of her lips crawling further and further up her cheeks as he continued to speak. Her giggles ceased and her heart slowed easily to a calm, serene beat. She climbed slowly to her feet and adjusted her clothing as he stumbled endlessly through his words, as his nervousness became much more apparent with every jumbled sentence. "Hey," She called in her soft, musical tone of voice. "Breathe, hon. It's alright. You don't have to be nervous." And then the mention of Seattle brought up the oddest of topics. The growing threat of the vampiric, dangerous new borns flooding the city and killing off everything, with out him even actually mentioning the threat. Kaylee herself was not particularly worried about it, because she knew she could handle herself; perhaps their first meeting was not the right time to be revealing that bit of information about herself to Colin. She shrugged and put on the cutest look over her face in attempt to shrug away the subject. "Don't worry... I'll be sure to make this the first place I come to when I get scared. I'm sure you'd be willing to keep me safe, right? I mean, since you offered and all..." The smile playing on her soft lips was bright and cheerful, and at this point it felt as though Colin was the reason for this. As he continued on, Kaylee's giggling sensation returned to linger in her stomach but she held it all in as much as she could. "You are just adorable!" The words escaped her lips and she immediately cupped her hand over her mouth as her cheeks burned nearly the same color as her red hair. The giggles bombarded her again and she spun around in place with the most random of energetic pulses through out her body. "Sorry! I don't mean to be rude! I..." She tried to get a hold of herself. "I would absolutely love to go on a date with you... And we don't have to go to dinner. I am perfectly content with anything." Adoration filled her eyes.

I’ll never talk again Oh girl you’ve left me speechless, so speechless Colin noticed her warm shiny smile that lit up her eyes and a bright red tomato cheeks .He immediately and he automatically squirmed, literally fidgeted as if he were twelve years old and looking at some teacher he had the hots for. He was so overcome by the power of the imprint occurring that he had no idea how to handle this interaction. Part of him wanted to run and hide and yet at the same time, he knew he never would. It was almost as if his free will had been taken away from him, leaving him to stand helplessly and stare at the lady who had suddenly become his world. It was not completely a good feeling, least not at this point. Oh, there was certainly celebrated joy inside him, not to mention how his heart skipped a beat whenever she glanced at him longer than a nanosecond regardless of the unspoken judgments she thought against him. Colin needed his friends more than ever but he knew he’d have to attempt to have this first meeting go smoothly. He had no doubt it would be the first of many. It didn’t matter if Kaylee would only see him if he quit his mechanic job and moved to Seattle instead. He’d do what it took to stay a part of her life. If she said jump, he’d ask how high.
She responded with a enthusiastic reply which made the wolf shifter become tongue-tied for a moment. He hoping she would feel some sort of something. He had no idea how imprints were supposed to work. He knew only what he’d observed through the years. Sam had Emily and they were happy… weren’t they? Quil had little Claire and he adored his role of caring protector…right?!? Colin was becoming increasingly more upset though he managed to keep a lid on it for now.
Kaylee broke his inner tension, telling him she doesn’t care what they do for a date. He felt like lucky to have such a awesome imprintee. He could only nod and swallow the bile in the back of his throat. It was lucky for him she couldn’t hear his heart beat rapidly against his chest. Of course he sat there like a little obedient puppy dog. There was nothing else he wanted to do more then to just sit there with her… he shook his head back and forth once in a motion meant to chase away these unwanted insecurities. He’d always taken his duty in the pack seriously and this part came along with the job in a sense. No one knew for sure why imprints happened and really, the truth of the reasoning wasn’t going to change anything so it didn’t matter a whole lot. Nothing mattered as much as the red head looking at him as if he was either going to attack her or break out into some sort of crazy jungle dance. “I would like to hear you sing again…” He suggested shyly.

His suggestion did not surprise her, nor did it make her nervous. She was anxious to play her guitar, still, just as she had been when she had woken up that morning. Giggling and grinning brightly to him, she began to move back down to the blanket but stopped herself. Did she really need her guitar to sing? It was silly, to think she could not sing with out any music. The little talent of hers served her well, especially in this instance. Wracking her brain for one of her many personal songs, she struggled to find one to sing to him. Kaylee did not stop to think or question why he wanted to hear her, much less why he was still around. If the rumors of the wolves were true, they could smell someone like her... someone with vampiric attributes. It would have seemed odd to her, but there was just something about his essence that had her content and fixed on him. Her smile grew as her mind stopped on the lyrics of a song. She took in a breath before beginning to sing. "It's oh, ah-obvious... Right here's where the party starts, with you and me all alone. No one has to know," She began acutely dancing around in place, and then- tip toeing over the warm sand, she moved to dance around him. "It's oh, ah-obvious how it's gonna be... Oh, ah, obvious, when you come close to me..." She ended her short piece with a large amount of laughter as she came to stand rather still in front of him- closer now than before. "Sorry if it wasn't spectacular or anything!" Through her giggles she apologized. "And I'm sorry if I happen to scare you with my energy! You just happened to catch me on an extremely great day... or perhaps you only made my day better."

I’ll never talk again Oh girl you’ve left me speechless, so speechless For the moment Kaylee appeared to be about younger and so care free as she sang her beautiful heart out, and as that thought crossed Colin's mind, he saw her face, and he breathed in sharply. He had moved far enough to one side so that he could see her front, and he stared into her face, speechless. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. He was still so ever clueless about her sweet scent. He felt himself slipping away, felt all of his memories drain away, his whole identity slipping slowly beyond his grasp. He shook his head, trying to clear it, but to no avail. Through the haze fogging up his mind, a single thought cut through, knife-sharp. Her voice filled his head and he would forever remember this moment in time. After a few seconds, he felt himself slowly returning, but he continued to stare at the center of his universe. Her. It was then he realized that he should tell her the truth about himself. Sam couldn’t get mad at Colin for telling his soul mate about the pack and the tribal stories, right!? Unsure of what to do, he sat there awkwardly, waiting for her to finish singing for him. His heart was beating fast, and his mouth was dry, but Collin didn't notice. He was too focused on the girl standing there – so close. “I like your energy, means your soul is burning with a wild fire.” A fire he didn’t think he could tame and didn’t want to either. That flame is what made Kaylee…well, Kaylee, of course. Her kind words made his cheeks feel warm.
Should he tell her about the Pack? Was he really imprinting? Some doubts began worming their way into his mind, but Colin ignored them, shaking his head to clear it. The way she look at him with her eyes made him want to tell her the truth. He didn’t think he was ever going to be capable of lying to her. "I think that I've imprinted on you..." He said. It was a fairly lame and blunt statement, and she probably would need an explanation, but Colin thought he did pretty well because his didn’t utter or mumbles on his last sentence. He took a deep breath, and began to explain. "OK." He said. "You've probably heard the legends about the Spirit Warriors of the Quileute tribe, right? Well... they're all true. I just happen to be one of them. In fact, there is a pack of us protecting the rez from..." Colin stopped. He explain in further details how his ancestors were a descent from wolves. The next part was the most unbelievable. Colin could prove he was a shifter, he could prove that imprinting was real, but vampires? She would probably just think he was crazy. He decided to go on anyways. It was true love, right? What could go wrong? "We protect the rez from leeche- I mean, vampires." He sighed, waiting for her to pass some judgement, to rule him out, think him crazy. In all likelihood, that would be what happened, and the pack would never let him hear the end of it. He would be the only Wolf who's imprint drove him away; he would still gravitate towards her, and she to him, but she would shun him, not believe him.

The words he spoke were all too familiar and echoed through her head softly. Her smile never failed, even through his nearly angry mention of part of her kind. She never glanced to him as though he was insane and spewing the most outrageous of stories to her; she never allowed her friendly eyes to change from their state. They remained glowing with happiness and contentedness as she pondered the words to say to him. There was no way around any of it all; her only option was to speak the truth no matter how much she inwardly did not wish to do so. Revealing that she was partly one of them to a shifter would be jeopardizing anything the future might have in store for them; there was something about Colin that just grabbed at Kaylee's heart more than anyone else had ever done. She shook her head to him, still in her playful mood and began speaking. "I know all about it already," She had to reveal to him the truth sooner or later and the opportunity was dancing between them as they spoke. "I know what imprinting is, and I know of the shifters. Granted I have only heard stories few and far, but I know of you all. But," Though a sigh breached her lips, her smile never faded, as she readied herself to breathe the words of truth to him. "I know the shifters and the vampires don't get along... and were never truly meant to. I..." Finally her eyes shifted from him to over-look the sea. "I'm a half-breed... A hybrid. But I don't drink blood!" Her head quickly snapped back forward to face him. "I don't drink blood. Every vampire has a power and that seems to be mine.... I understand if you wish to tear me limb from limb, Colin. I really do." Regret began pouring over her after all, as soon as she realized the reality of the situation.

I’ll never talk again Oh girl you’ve left me speechless, so speechless Colin blinked. When Kaylee’s cheerful facial expression hasn’t changed at all. Matter of fact she was still smiling at him as if she were talking to a sane person. Colin didn't think he could have asked for a better imprintee. Thankfully, however, she seemed just as entranced as Colin did himself. "Wow…" He said. He was in a daze; he didn’t think someone like Kaylee would have heard stories like this. Suddenly, just as everything seems fricking awesome between Kaylee and Colin, Kaylee declared she was half vampire…HALF VAMPIRE!? The idea of vampires and humans breeding sicken Colin and he didn’t bother to hide his disgust. It was bloodsuckers that ruined his life and made him what he is today. Those evil creatures killed his family… but Kaylee isn’t evil. He thought to himself. After a long awkward silence, Colin finally spoke in a low voice, “When we find someone that is right for us, we imprint. Basically, it's love at first sight." He finally look up at Kaylee with his darken brown eyes. Colin listened to what Kaylee had to say, focusing on the mesmerizing way that her lips moved. He realized that he might have been coming across as a little creepy, so he tried to control the raging emotions flowing through him. He felt conflicted with himself. Kaylee didn’t need blood…so did that really make her a vampire? He didn’t know. What Colin did know for sure was he never wanted to leave Kaylee’s side. Ever.
He forced a frown on his face before Kaylee could protest or say anything else, he ran into the sea. He quickly took off his clothes, and then phased. He felt his dark silver fur coat his body, his arms elongate and stretch, and he fell foreword onto his hands, which were now paws. After a couple seconds, he was completely phased, and he swam out from under the water with his clothes in his mouth. He places his clothes to the side on the sand. He looked at Kaylee, and sat on his haunches like a dog. Then, his tongue lolled out, and he hoped that she wouldn't be frightened by his appearance. True, he was in his 'friendly wolf' mode, but it still was probably disturbing to see a guy go under water and reappear as a giant wolf. He waited for her reaction, hoping that it would be a good one. He walk over to her, happy the beach was empty for once, and lick her cheek one time. He didn’t care if she was half vampire…He still loved her anyways. The bond between them is strong and nothing can break it. Unless Kaylee rejected him…

She had to admit that she was a rather unique individual and it was not just because she had been exposed to vampire-human relations, but because she fully understood the different perspective of each race of being. She could easily embrace the difference between all beings and she could barely see why there was so many problems with existing as one. Her eyes fluttered back up to him, still bright, soft, and understanding. Reading his face, she could tell he had his reservations; he had his doubts and he had his suspicions. At the same time, she nearly understood that he could not fully embrace those doubts because of the bond they now shared- the bond of which appeared out of thin air. She felt the need to explain herself, but she could not do so. As she moved to reach up and touch his cheek lightly, he quickly shot toward the water. For a moment she could not see him because of the disturbances with in the water due to the waves as well as the reflection of the sun from the water's surface. And then, as a large silver wolf emerged from the water, her breathe escaped her. Never had she sat eyes on such a brilliant, large creature; the only images she had ever seen of a wolf so great were mental images she had thought up. As the large wolf licked her cheek, an airy giggle leapt form her throat surprisingly as her arms instantly wrapped around his neck as best they could. With out thought and hesitation, she rested her head against his neck. She was not only embracing his physical being, but the difference between the two of them as well as what he was. Kaylee pulled away gently and smiled up at his large face. "If you are worried about me and the vampiric tendencies, please understand I have no real tendencies of that nature. Just like you cannot explain imprinting, I can fully understand why I was blessed with the ability to live with out blood." Another angelic laugh prances from her throat. "I see it as a blessing, and I hope it only helps you understand I mean no harm to you." She pet the fur on the top of his head gently. "You know," Another shift in the conversation was made out of her natural tendencies; she winked as she spoke. "You're almost as adorable in wolf form as you are in your human form."

I’ll never talk again Oh girl you’ve left me speechless, so speechless Colin couldn’t stop smiling. He had the perfect girl for once in his life; well he thought she was perfect for him. The gorgeous smile, nice body, sense of humor, she made him laugh, made him feel not so weird like infinity times a million, and more. He just couldn’t really pin point how to describe Kaylee Roberts. Blushing like crazy after she wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her angelic face into his fur, Colin felt almost like an electric shock go through him, like a spark rushed through their arms. He listened to her carefully, her words brought relieve to him. Colin didn’t think he could handle her eating humans – like normal leeches. He was profoundly happy to know she was more human than leech. He nodded his head in understandment, he couldn’t speak to her in his wolf form. He licked her face once more, happy she couldn’t see how red his face was under his grey fur. She thought he was adorable, and oddly enough this made him even happier than before. She didn’t think he was overtan bean pole, like he usally thought of himself. Maybe, Colin even has a chance to call her his girlfriend. A wolfish grin spread across his face, then, licked her face gently. Then, he poked her on her shoulder gently with his muzzle, and stepped backwards. He was gesturing for her to turn around so he could change back.
Colin was quite happy in his wolf form. Kaylee seemed suitably impressed, and Colin stood from his previous position on his haunches, and stretched leisurely. He couldn't really smile or express happiness, so he figured that his time as a wolf was up. He ran over to his dripping wet clothes, and phased back into his human form when Kaylee back was to him. He pulled on his cargo pants, and went back to where Kaylee was sitting. "We'll take it slow." He said. "If that's what you want." Then, he grinned at her. "Well?" He said. "Whaddaya think? Is my wolf form awesome or not? Do you wanna know about the others? Do you wanna talk about something? Maybe we could go out tonight. I think I have patrol with Jake, actually, but maybe later. Tomorrow or something. How does that sound?" he idiotic smile on his face did not fade, and Colin simply couldn't stop the sudden tirade of questions that flowed from his mouth. He continued blathering on, asking about what Kaylee thought of the weather, talking about his pack and wanting to get to know about her family, and eventually, Colin realized that she hadn't gotten a chance to respond since he'd started talking. He coughed, turned a little red, and stopped talking.
"Right." He said. "Sorry about that. Ummm... so... what do you want to talk about now? I'm free for... a long time. We could stay here, or go somewhere nicer, if you'd like. Then again..." Colin cast a significant glance at his bare chest. "People might get curious if they see me like this." He said and he couldn't help wishing he had a shirt but it was still wet. It must have been really awkward for Kaylee or not, but Colin certainly knew that it was for him. He covered his embarrassment with a chuckle, and looked back at Kaylee, waiting for her to respond.

Kaylee could not help but be overcome by giggles, cause by the eager butterflies fluttering with in her stomach and chest. She could barely recall a time she had felt this content and nearly happy with her life, even though somewhere below her rather large heart she was still slightly nervous about the situation. The rumors of the shape-shifters and their imprinting had proven to be true; but she still could not help but think it might have been a trap. But every time she looked back into his eyes, she felt comforted and all of her negative thoughts left her as if a new life had been given to her. After her father had left her by the greedy hands of the Volturi, Kaylee’s smile had been forced, but now- as Colin stood in front of her- it came naturally. She had to use no effort to smile, to laugh, to feel elated. All of the feelings she could possibly experience rushed back into her at once. As he returned to his human form and reproached her, she felt an eager lump in her throat as he spoke.
“Definitely impressive,” Kaylee winked to him, referring to his wolf form but her giggles continued as his stream of questions filled her head. He seemed slightly nervous, but more so excited and the quality only made Kaylee even higher on life. For once, it felt as though someone actually cared about her and her well-being, despite the fact that she was half-human and half- vampire. “Actually it doesn’t matter to me. I.. I just want to see you.” A blush would have shown thrown her complexion more vibrantly if she had been a human, but her cheeks still glowed a light pink beneath her shimmering skin. “Whenever you are free, I am.”
She shook her head as he offered her the chance to go somewhere “nicer.” She did not care where they were, nor what they were doing at the moment. What was left of her heart beat wildly with in her chest- whether it had been a real heart or not. Smiling wildly at him, she tucked some of her red hair behind her ear. “If you need to get a shirt, we can always take a walk to wherever you live and get one… not that I ..erm.. mind.”

I’ll never talk again Oh girl you’ve left me speechless, so speechless Colin was entranced. Kaylee, despite being half vampire and half human, she was quickly becoming his everything. He couldn’t imagine a world without her. It seemed that she did love him as well. After all, Kaylee just said she wanted to see him again. He softly smiled. "That’s good, because you going to be seeing whole lot of me." He said softly. "The whole pack is bound to defend everyone inside it... and related to it. That includes imprints." He winked at her. Colin figured that out when he just wondered if anyone wishing her harm would have to go through just him. The subject moved to what they should go next, at first he just absentminded nodded his head. Kaylee’s comment in wanting to see more of him really got his heart beat going. He couldn’t believe she just said that to him like that. He loved her straight forwardness. "My house?" He asked, unsure."My house is such a mess right now." Colin got up from where he was sitting and quickly stuck out his hand to help Kaylee’s hand. A sheepish grin spread across his face, and he rubbed the back of his head with his other free hand. “So remember you been warned. M'k?" Colin mumbled the whole sentence, stringing the words together and hurriedly moved on. He took her hand into his. He thought her hand would be small and fragile. Okay, her hand was small compare to his enormous hand, but fragile? Hell no. He stops to look down at her hand within his. Something about Kaylee’s skin was thicker, tougher than any normal human. He gently squeezed her hand before letting it go. He helps pick up her belongings, tossing his wet t-shirt over his shoulder. His hand felt terribly empty and instantly stuck out his hand for Kaylee to take again.
Taking her hand again, they walk down alongside the beach. At the moment, Colin wished his live further away from the beach. He comes to halt in front of two storage house. “Well, here we are.” He grinned down at her, since Kaylee barely went over his shoulder. He slide open his glass door and look around his living room. “Guess my roommate still out…” Everything was left just as he left it this morning. Cereal bowls still on the kitchen table, some clothes and magazines scatter around the living room area. “Uh, make yourself at home.” He walks into his room, leaving Kaylee alone in the living room area. He quickly looks around his room and spotted a clean shirt on his lamp. He really had to clean his room. Ugh, later. He tossed his shirt into his dirty cloth basket and quickly put on his semi clean button collar shirt on. He got his reflection in the mirror and decided running a comb through his dark brown hair wouldn’t hurt. He passed the comb through his hair and made his way out the room, “Okay, ready.” He reenters the living room.
