Colin sighed quietly as he walked down from his house his mind quiet on a few things. It had been a long few days of running ragged around the area. Things had been going crazy lately from the death of his pack mate to his imprinted with Kaylee Roberts…but his mind always went back to his hybrid imprintee. His soul mate. It was hard to not see her as often but he did not say anything at the moment and the two remained close but things could have been better. He sighed as he undressed and then shifted after tying his cloths to his legs and ran throughout the forest. He was back on patrol again looking around as he moved throughout the forest he was curious about the area as it was one of the places that he had been rarely as he walked quietly deep into the forest his eyes calm but also guarded as he slowly made his way through the dense area. He could feel some of the other pack members in the back of his head and shook his head sadly. It was annoying at times when he thought of it but they all had times when they wished that they were alone and never had it in wolf form.
He had always been the caring/queit one of the pack with things. He always seem serious or reserved among his pack mates. Closing his eyes he slowed down as he smelled something in the area and started to move towards the smell. He slowly moved closer unsure on how he felt about this one and it kept him cautious because of what had happened in the past. To many times had he been hurt by people that he did care about and it was starting to turn him cold towards people a bit each time. Kaylee was the one person who could get to him still in the end. He cared about her and would do anything to keep the girl safe. They had really hit things off together with their friendship and how close they had become in such a short time. He has to see her after his partrol and he often worried that he had pushed his feelings on her to soon and to quickly but he wasn’t completely sure on things. Shaking his head he made his way towards the smell his eyes open and scanning the area for whatever maybe coming this way.tag!? open to anyone muse!? race against the clock notes!? need to post more often

`` Keisha loped lazily along. She had decided today to ramble around. Check out the trails at the farthest reaches of wolf territory. They had effectively put her right into the mountains. She was pleasantly surprised. There weren’t many people around, so she could take her time and just wander around a bit. Not to mention it was actually really beautiful up here. The breath she pulled in was thick with the smells of the forest. Rain, cedar and pine, wet grass… it soothed her so much. She had had to spend a lot more time in her human form since she was back in Forks. Of course she had made a couple of friends, ones she was actually starting to open up to… but it still wasn’t the same. Keisha just missed her wolf self.
`` Padding along the trail, her small paws left tiny marks in the soggy earth. She stopped for a moment and pondered that. She was probably one of the smaller wolves, hardly bigger then a large dog, if not the smallest. It made her seem delicate and vulnerable. In reality it made her all but either. She quick, light on her feet, and agile to an extreme. She could fit in smaller spaces that the other wolves that were bigger couldn’t. What’s more, she was a girl. Not many females had the wolf gene. She lucked out. Big time. She remembered her father used to tell her that it might not happen. Thank God it did. Keisha wasn’t exactly sure what she would’ve have done if it didn’t. But then again if it hadn’t happened, maybe she wouldn’t even be here now. She heaved a heavy sigh, and continued walking.
`` Letting her mind wander, she wondered what Pete was up too. He had said he was going into town… Keisha just hoped he wasn’t stealing anything. Her younger brother could have some pretty sticky fingers when he wanted to. And where did he learn that one, Keish?
[/i] she thought sarcastically to herself. That was completely her fault. Most of what they owned was stolen. Still, what they had wasn’t much. But now Keisha and Pete had jobs, they were making their own money so they didn’t have to steal as often… But even then. Their paychecks barely got them food for the week. Keisha couldn’t let her mind linger long on that. She jumped off the path for a little while and walked under the cover of trees. She had this strange feeling, like something was coming. `` Keisha knew her feelings well enough to know not to ignore them. Dashing for the cover of a dense thicket, she jumped to soar over the branches, and changed back into a human mid-jump. She landed on her hands, letting her arms fold as she rolled, spreading out the shock of the land to a minimal scale. She quickly untied the clothes she had secured around her ankle. Shimming quickly into her shorts and bikini top, she cast her sharp eyes around quickly. Keisha could smell what was coming now. Well not so much what as who. It was another werewolf. She didn’t know his scent, but in a strange sense it seemed familiar. Racking her brain, she finally came up with why it was sort of familiar. Keisha had smelled it not all that long ago. Around her house too. Whoever it was must have been with a pack around here. Crap. That probably didn’t mean a good thing for Keisha or Pete. They were loners. Wanders. That was all. Besides, no way in hell would Keisha be pleased with taking orders from someone. She just hoped being a part of a pack wasn’t required. Either way, as the wolf got nearer, Keisha glanced up at the tree above her, picked a branch, and jumped. Then she swung herself up and over, watching the ground silently and carefully, hoping, praying that she wouldn’t have to give up her freedom. Colin could smell her before he had seen her and it caught his attention almost immediately a wolf definitely and it made his fur stand up on end when it came down to it. He had to be careful not knowing the pack and what they did as he wandered closer each step quiet and slow taking it all in as he wandered down towards the smell. He knew that he should just contact the others but he wanted to make sure that he was not making a mistake and having someone surrounded by wolves ready to hurt them as he saw her he took some cautious steps. His dark brown eyes wander up towards the tree the blonde girl jumped onto. Since she was not a part of the pack he didn’t have the shared mind to deal with and gave her the “it’s okay I mean you no harm” look, he assured her and kept a good distance from the wolf. He wanted to make sure it was likewise before he moved closer his brown eyes were on hers and he stayed in a relaxed manner showing no thoughts of an attack although he kept his eyes on her constantly. He didn’t know many female shifters, matter of fact, he thought only Leah Clearwater was the only werewolf around this parks of the woods. Plus, Colin thought you had to be native descent to have the wolf gene. Blue eyes and blonde hair female wonder wolf didn’t look native to Colin.
Being around a female wolf always reminded him of being around Leah and it to be honest…Being around Leah wasn’t the most pleasant thing in La Push. He shuddered hard when he thought of spending time with Leah. Shaking his head he sighed and cleared his head, counting his lucky stars that he imprinted on someone like Kaylee. He slowly took a few steps towards her. She didn’t seem too bad so he took slow steps waiting to see how she would respond. The girl didn’t seem like she was going to harm anyone, but looks could be deceive as Colin learned from past experiences. .
Hmm, so definitely not hostile. Shifting slightly on his paws he then disappeared back into the bushes and shifted, untying his shorts from around his ankle and pulling them on. He then walked back out into the clearing, a grin on his face as he also crossed his arms in front of his chest and issued a greeting, “Hi. I must admit I’ve rarely met another shifter that was a girl...” Colin said as he leaned against one of the trees, his legs crossed in front of him with the appearance of ease. Although he was still slightly tense, you never knew with strangers these days... that much he’d found out from the pack that had been attacking humans not that long ago. He never has been this comfortable around girls before. He was usually quiet or reserved. Girls – especially pretty girls – made him very nervous. But now a days, Colin only felt nervous around only one girl…Ugh. “I must be correct in my guess that you aren’t from around here?” he asked, although it was more of a statement than a question, as his eyes took in their surroundings, were there more of them? Did they travel in packs as well? Where did this girl come from….tag!? kei$ha muse!? state farm notes!? woo someone's bring sexy back ;3
