"Watch her take precaution preventingWhat we left at home Her beautiful fantastical scarring, I'm indecisive um'ing and ah'ing
...The kids we left in the outskirts Suffering all alone Their terrible once and for all looks This day is for the record books
'Cause I'm not getting no sleep Cause something-is bothering me"
Denny had roamed into Forks Forest just right outside of a Meadow he found. He was sitting on a large rock just looking at it like he wasn't invited over. It wasn't that he didn't want to go over there, it mostly because he found it peaceful with tree's on the side of him looking into an open area full of flowers and such. At the moment he had his guitar with him playing a song he wrote himself about how he felt about someone, people, and his condition. There were many mixed feeling in the song, but if listened to carefully everything feel into place.
"So light a box of matches And try and burn away All the cuts and scratches
That got made on the way
The way we built our black hole In sick, sick dreams Our condition is incurable We're sick, sick teens
Someone turned the lights down and I tripped fell into your arms Your beautiful fantastical flaws I'm indecisive so, so unsure Sometimes you got to hit go and run from where you come They're terrible once and for all warnings They'll keep on haunting every story
'Cause I'm not getting no sleep Cause something-is bothering me
So send our your whole army And try and burn away Every fcking memory That got lost on the way
The way we built our black hole In sick, sick dreams Our condition is incurable At six, sixteen We fell into a black hole In sick, sick dreams Our condition is incurable We're sick, sick teens
Something is bothering me We fell into a black hole Watch her take precaution preventing What we left at home That got lost on the way The way we built our black hole In sick, sick dreams Our condition is incurable At six, sixteen
We fell into a black hole In sick, sick dreams Our condition is incurable We're sick, sick teens"
Our condition is incurable at six, sixteen; his most favorite lyric he's ever wrote and that's saying a lot! He has composed many songs mostly around humor but this one is by far his favorite. Although, it is understandable right? He sighed lightly and just peered in-front of him. Today had been a very, very bland day besides his hunt. But that was nothing new...He needed something...Anything to entertain him before he went to bored and became lazy! But what? His brothers were busy and still scared of him and his parents he couldn't see because they don't even know he's still living. Hiding from them was difficult but he wasn't sure seeing them would be good. How would they take it? He's been gone for two years.

Today was one of those days Lily loved the most. The sun was actually beaming their bright rays on Lily's semi-tan skin. In Forks the sun rarely came out and it was always somewhat chilly. Lily loved the hot sun, and so did her inner beast. While Lily would tend to her flowers, her wolf would often lay out in the sun and bathe. The wind was almost non-existent except for when she really needed it. Not being like other humans her inner body temperature was already almost to the boiling point. Even in the coldest of winters she could heat her whole family up with they huddled together. When she was younger the school nurse would often send her home, thinking she was sick when she took her temperature and it read over 100. But she never got sick and always told the nurse she felt fine. No matter how hot she was, it never bothered her. She loved the heat. And along with the heat was the smell of flowers and freshly cut grass. When it was a beautiful day like today was, there were more people out tending to their yards as well. One thing that took over her senses more was the smell of hot dogs. There was a local vendor down the street that only came out on days like this. She loved the smell and often finds herself trailing the scent and even getting a hot dog for herself. That was her breakfast for the day.
Lily walked down the street with an open basket and hummed a tune. She was on her way towards the Meadow, wanting to pick flowers for her room. She also liked to find new flowers and picks them, takes their seeds, and plants them in her garden. She had a way with nature that she couldn't help but fiddle with. She loved to grow things and study them. In school she was often the nerd but without the glasses and asthma. Whether she was part wolf or not she had a love and mutual respect for nature and all living creatures. Even if she was not always the most gentle animal. Feeling very laid back but also girly, she mixed her style up today. Wearing a knee-length black dress with spaggetti straps and bare foot. She didn't like wearing shoes unless she was going to the store or someone's house. You could often find her walking around the neighborhood wearing no shoes. Not even flip flops. Her hair was down in natural waves and she wore only a little mascara. She normally didn't wear make-up but today she felt like getting dolled up.
As Lily finally found the forest she walked through, looking at the ground around her for some flowers. She could hear a little melody in the distance but thought it was a house near by. But as she went deeper into the forest she could hear it more clearly. It sounded as if it was close but she knew that was only because of her heightend senses. She continued to look around as she made her way to the meadow. After a while she could hear a voice singing along with the music. It was a male and he was where she was heading. Curious but cautious she quietly made her way closer to the sound. Once she reached the meadow she crouched behind a tree and set her basket down behind her. In the distance she could see, in the meadow, a man playing his guitar in the shade. She had never seen him before so she wondered who he was and why was he just sitting there playing music. She was not used to that view. Her wolf seemed curious too. But she was a bit less cautious. She tried to stay still, hiding behind the tree as she watched him and listened to his song. A faint smell of something sour soon took over her nose. She couldn't tell where it was coming from but it was not pleasant.

Kenny stopped playing momentary to only start up again with a different song. He had been in a very musical mood all day.
"We've got no lines on our faces, With eyes so wide, to new places,
We've got no lines on our faces, With eyes so wide, to new places, Stood side by side, reaching up, At just five, we feel so old
I run around with sticks and stones With hands drawn like a real gun I've got scabs and broken bones I know how to have real fun.
And it's that time of the day All my friends shoot and I run away And it's that time of the day War time is over now we can play
We run around with sticks and stones With hands drawn like a real gun We may have scabs and broken bones..."
Kenny stopped playing his guitar after half way through his song. It wasn't that he didn't like the song, he was just taking a little break so he could look out at the meadow with peace and quiet. The quiet went away when a heart beat came to Kenny's ears, by the sounds this person wasn't very far away from him. How did he not hear or smell this person coming? "Into the music." He thought tilting his head a little. How else would he not heard? Kenny took a breath in smelling the lovely flowers out in the meadow and a revolting wet dog smell. "Ugh." He said scrunching his nose up. That wasn't a very nice mix of smells. He stopped breathing so he wouldn't have to smell it. Where was the smell coming from anyway? He didn't bother thinking on it to much do to the lack of caring and knowing it didn't matter. it wasn't anything dead, because well, he knew what that smells like.
Turning his attention back to the heart-beat he listened carefully to hear it beat like a female heart. He couldn't smell human though so it couldn't be a human. "Hello?" He called out looking to both sides of him. He didn't see anything so he stood up and followed the sound of the beating heart. When a girl come into view he tilted his head then backed up to sit on a low tree branch. "I hope I didn't startle you," He said with a soft smile. "You're out awful far." He added blinking a few times. He knew around humans he had to look like he were breathing and blinking every now and than or they would start asking questions.
Deciding he better breath rather than pretending, he did. The revolting smell reappeared but strong this time, and coming from the girl. Now Kenny was extremely confused, not to mention a bit taken a back that a girl could smell so badly! He had smelt this before near the La Push area but never thought much of it. "What..." He began tilting his head."are you?" He finished then stopped breathing again. She obviously wasn't a human, that much he could tell, so he didn't feel like breathing would be necessary. He hoped so anyway. "I'm sorry. I'm sure that sounded rude. You're not human, so what might you be?" Kenny didn't bother hiding his British accent although it did make him seem foreign. His accent hasn't faded in the least since he moved here, although his familys has.

The music was calm but the lyrics were somewhat weird. Obviously this was not her type of music, she couldn't really understand it. But she didn't judge, the melody of the guitar was good enough. But soon after it stopped she took a breath in. "Hello?" She wondered if he had noticed her. Did she make a noise? No she couldn't of she was barefoot and was always quiet. Maybe he had just sensed her, like many other creatures in the town. But she couldn't convince herself that he was anything but human. Although some doubts ran through her mind for as he stood up and started to walk over the sour smell grew stronger. She realized it was coming from him. She was hoping it was just a case of B.O but her instincts told her otherwise.
Lily stood up and took a step back as now she clearly knew that he had already seen her and was making his way towards her. The stench got stronger as he got closer. The only other time she had smelt that before was when her uncle introduced her to a vampire. He looked so young, he couldn't be one. But Lily kept her mouth shut and just thought it would be best to wait to ask. He might look at her like she was crazy if she asked if he was a mythological creature. "I hope I didn't startle you, "You're out awful far." She smiled and placed her hands behind her back, linking her fingers together. She stood only a few feet away from the stranger and was quite nervous. A single ray beamed through the trees above her, leaving a glare in her eyes. She could feel the heat on a spot of her blonde head. She could only see most of him for the sun was in her eye. Watching him sit down on a low branch he began to talk again "What..." He began tilting his head."are you?" Well that was a weird but rude question, Lily thought. She thought her question would be blunt but his was even more brutal. "I'm sorry. I'm sure that sounded rude. You're not human, so what might you be?"
S [/color]tarring at him like he was crazy, she compliplated whether she should pretend to not know what he was talking about or just come out and say 'Yeah, I'm a wild dog what might you be?' Even for Lily that was more than what needed to be said. It was not her right to go around telling people who she was. Not only was it against her family's 'religion' is was also to protect her. She decided to stay calm and not tell him right away. She wanted to know how he was first. "Yeah. That actually was rude. Thanks for noticing." she said in a sarcastic but not mean voice. "I bet you don't get out with the ladies very much do you?" she crossed her arm, never taking her eyes off of him. "What kind of person just comes out and says 'You're not human so what might you be?'. Do I not look human to you? Of course I'm human." somewhat, she thought. She actually was human, but three nights out of a month she was a wild animal. Humans are like wild animals she thought. There was no difference. "My question is what are you! You smell weird, and I've only smelt that smell once before." If he was going to be blunt and rude, so was she.[/blockquote]

Kenny looked to the ground than back up to the blonde beauty. For a non-vampire she was pretty gorgeous, but than again Kenny loves the ladies. He only wished he were human so he could befriend many of them just like when he lived in London, all the girls in school adored him. That left, sadly, when he turned. He must not have noticed how rude he really was being. Or maybe she was just as taken back as he was about her. Either way he felt the need to apologize. "Please forgive me. I don't mean to be rude. Of course you look human, a beautiful young lady." Kenny gave her a charming smile before sliding over on the tree. The cloud moved that were above him so he needed to move before he started sparking. He hated sparkling, although found it funny when his brothers picked on him about it.
"What I mean is, you smell odd to me as well and you don't smell human. I was just curious." He gave a slight nod then readjusted his hat on his head. He couldn't fit it then way he wanted so he took it off laying it beside him then took his pale fingers through his curly hair. He was now unsure of what else to say. He already felt terrible for coming across rude to her and now he didn't have anything to say! But what was there to say? He didn't know rather to just tell her he's a vampire or wait it out and see if she says what she is first. "Oh dear," He laughed lightly. "I ask your forgiveness again. I haven't introduced myself. I'm Kenny Hao."
"I would like to get this conversation moving a little," He added moving his arm into the sunlight so it would sparkle. He found that it looked silly on him, but on others it looked fine-apart from the males. Sparkling males looked absolutely silly and degrading. "I'm a vampire." Kenny dropped his arm back to his lap and just looked at her. He was becoming more and more curious as to what species she was! He hoped that now the conversation would get somewhere.

This startled her. He apologized as quickly as he was rude. Normally with the guys she meets it takes them a while to actually comprehend that they did something wrong. In Lily's mind men were simple creatures. They can't help the way they are, but you can't take their every word and move as it is. They have codes just as much as women do. Maybe even a bit more complex. But of course the men would say the same thing about the women. It was all just too confusing to Lily. She was actually thankful she was what she was, meaning she didn't have to really worry about dating much. If she got too excited then her wolf would pounce out of her like a bunny rabbit coming out of hell. She had to keep her distance, not wanting what happened when she was younger to happen again. Most guy can't even handle her. She's too strong and her emotions are physically tied to the beast inside her.
She took a breath in and out and uncrossed her arms. "Please forgive me. I don't mean to be rude. Of course you look human, a beautiful young lady." Ok, now that was just as weird as his first comment. Of course it was a nice comment and she appreciated the gesture, but it had seemed that this person didn't really know what to say to her. He was very blunt, and Lily liked that to an extent. She was the same way, often coming across as rude herself but she had never met another person like that. Well except for that creepy lady in the city by the fountain. "Oh dear," He laughed lightly. "I ask your forgiveness again. I haven't introduced myself. I'm Kenny Hao." She smiled and relaxed her body. Her wolf sat down on the grass next to her on the other plane and starred at the stranger. "Lily Edan." she replied softly. "I would like to get this conversation moving a little," she watched as he moved his arm towards the air into the small opening. The sun beamed down on his arm, but for some off reason it was sparkling. For a moment she just sat there in awe but then something clicked in her head. Her instincts were right once again and he had himself proven her right. "I'm a vampire." this was the most oddest sentence that had came out his mouth yet. She let out a sign and moved a strand of golden hair out from her eyes and behind her ear. With a smile she replied "You know, if I were anybody else I would think you were crazy and just rubbed on sparkle lotion. But lucky you I already knew what you were. I could smell you from more than a mile away. At first I was just hoping you were a human with B.O but I guess I was wrong on that one." she figured if he had already told her, or show her for that fact, it was only natural that he knew what she was. If he was from around here he would know that werewolves and shifters too, smell like wet dogs to vampires. She knew for a fact because her uncle's friend told her so. They were already past the line for keeping the secret. "You don't seem to be from around here, hence the accent. British, I'm guessing? Well I'm guessing you probably smelled wet dog am I correct? Yeah, that was me. I'm a werewolf. Do they have werewolves in England?"she said, slightly tilting her head. She knew that was a lot at once but that was who she was. She sounded quite sure of herself which was the total opposite of how she felt. She felt nervous but somewhat relaxed. It was a strange feeling. She knew she should watch what she said but her mouth would speak before her brain could filter it. She knew she was already saying too much. If word got out Lily would be in serious trouble. It wasn't in her nature to do so, but if she had to she could just rip his head off.

Kenny picked up his guitar and started strumming the strings with a light tone and slow music. He loved making music fitting to the situation that might be going on-and even though this one didn't fit, he still liked playing while holding a conversation. "I wish it were sparkling lotion." He chuckled shaking his head. He felt really stupid when sparkling and Ashley often called him gay, but Ashley wanted him to turn him therefore he would be gay too. He might not notice but he kind of picked on himself as well. "I thought you had B.O as well." He grinned finding much amusement in this conversation. It had been kind of ironic how things were going. Although, it might just be how he's taking in everything.
"Oh werewolf? Really?" He smiled at her then went into thought. How did werewolves work? He found that vampires are completely different from the books and movies so would they be different as well? "You don't sparkle do you?" He asked making a light joke. "As sworn enemies, I cannot tell you anything else." He gave a nod then rolled his eyes. Kenny honestly didn't know if the two races were or not and honestly didn't really care as long as no one was attacking him. Lily wasn't so, there was no need for any harsh feelings.
"I'm British, yeah. And wet dog, yeah." He stopped playing the guitar and sat it on the ground once more. Then he moved to let his back rest against the tree truck. "I don't know if they're werewolves there. Probably though." He gave her a shrug lifting his leg and propping it on the tree branch and letting the other fall to the ground. He was feeling pretty comfortable now. "I moved here with my family about two and a half years ago, and I was bit two years ago. I haven't been there to find out. Besides, you're the first I've met." Kenny was very curious to know how werewolves were, what they did, and if they had different things about them then what's put out in the human world. "If you don't mind, could you tell me about werewolves? I know vampires are so different than what's put out about them so I'm curious."

The music was soothing. It was strange though that in the middle of a conversation he would just start strumming his guitar. Her father had a guitar. He used to play her a song every night before bed when she was little. She missed her father dearly, and it had seemed that everything around her reminded her of him. She almost felt as if she was about to cry, her throat grew soar and her heart beat started to quicken. Taking a deep breath and letting it out she calmed herself before she made a fool out of herself. She didn't want to look like a cry baby. "I wish it were sparkling lotion." A guy with sparkle lotion is a weird thing to think about, but also a vampire male that also sparkles is already gay enough. But she knew they couldn't help it. "I thought you had B.O as well." she chuckled inside. The conversation was getting to a point to where everything wasn't serious. Lily needed a good laugh. "Gee thanks." she said sarcastically, while laughing at the same time.
"Oh werewolf? Really?" [/i] In a way it had seemed that at first he may have not believed her. She wouldn't believe him either. It's not every day a petite female tells someone their secretly a wolf that could rip your throat out. If it wasn't for her father she wouldn't even know about vampires either. If someone told her there was a creature out there that sparkled and drank blood she would of laughed in your face. But with growing up around it, she is rarely surprised. "You don't sparkle do you? As sworn enemies, I cannot tell you anything else." Lily laughed and crossed her arms in front of her chest. "No. Thank god. Actually, now that I think about it." she looks around, finally realizing where she was. She was on vampire territory. "I really don't think I should be here. I don't want any trouble." she said, as she kept looking around. She knew the Cullen's wouldn't be a problem but there were other vampire's out there that claim this their territory. And most of them are a lot stronger than her. "I'm British, yeah. And wet dog, yeah. I don't know if they're werewolves there. Probably though. I moved here with my family about two and a half years ago, and I was bit two years ago. I haven't been there to find out. Besides, you're the first I've met."[/i] she listened carefully. To him and to their surroundings. She couldn't hear anyone else or smell them so for now everything was fine. But with her luck something would happen, it always did to her. She kept looking around, breaking the pattern by looking back at him every few words. When she was certain they were alone she focused her attention back to him. "If you don't mind, could you tell me about werewolves? I know vampires are so different than what's put out about them so I'm curious." She was surprised at his sudden interest in her. She figured it was just from the fact that he had never heard of lycanthropy before. Letting out a sign she returned with an answer. "Well as you can tell by reading about vampire's, the books are mostly wrong. The same goes for lycan's. But if you come here you'll learn the truth. Just as I'm telling you now. Even though there is a slight difference between us lycanthrop's and the local shifters they are the same. The one difference is is that being a Quilete Shifter is a gift, an honor. But to be a werewolf, it's a curse. A curse I would wish no one with. But of course in my opinon i would rather be a wolf than a blood sucker, no offense. So I guess I got the longer end of the stick." she said with a smile. Not trying to sound rude, but she was lucky she was what she was and not him. She continued "Now I was born one, so I don't really know anything about the one's that got infected with it. My father was a native himself, along with my uncle. They were not part of any pack but still allied with them, to protect the land. They felt like they needed to make up for the ones before us and their violent behaviors. Unlike shifters, when a werewolf changed into a wolf, their's no telling what they'll do. They won't even remember what happened when they wake up. Unless the wolf is an Alpha, your chances of surviving around a wolf is slim. But since your a vampire, I really don't know how that would play out. But me, I know I could whoop you." she said with a smirk, trying to ease the conversation a bit. She figured she would take it easy on him with all the information.[/blockquote]

Lily seemed to be on edge and Kenny wasn't exactly sure why. Kenny couldn't smell anyone close to them or nearly close to them for that matter. The only thing he was smelling is her and a lion. "mmmm lion," He thought trying to keep his mind of her smell. He didn't want to be rude, but she really didn't smell pleasant. According to her though, he wasn't any better which is surprising in a way. He had on axe spray but that probably didn't mask his scent very well. At least to humans he didn't smell awful. The humans had terrible senses. "I really don't think I should be here. I don't want any trouble." Kenny grinned at her nervousness. "Relax, no ones around. I can't smell anything but wet dog and a mountain lion." He smelled the air again. "Yep, that's it for a few miles." "Now I was born one, so I don't really know anything about the one's that got infected with it. My father was a native himself, along with my uncle. They were not part of any pack but still allied with them, to protect the land. They felt like they needed to make up for the ones before us and their violent behaviors. Unless the wolf is an Alpha, your chances of surviving around a wolf is slim. But since your a vampire, I really don't know how that would play out. But me, I know I could whoop you." Kenny listened carefully and took everything she was saying in. He loved the fact that he had photographic memory do to it coming in handy many, many times. He laughed, "Whoop me? I would dare you on that but I don't hurt girls." A smirk spread across his pale cheeks before he continued. "That's interesting. Seems we have one thing in common, a curse. Although I have control all the time, mostly. Must suck to not know what you've done for a period of time." Kenny tilted his head to the left side. He wouldn't be able to stand not knowing what he was doing or if he's hurt someone or not. Like she said about him, Kenny is glad he's not a werewolf. But he wouldn't say anything to her about that because he knew how having to live with a burden is. To him, it was like 'well jezz thanks.' very, very sarcastically.
Kenny sat up from the tree and let his leg fall to the other side of the branch so he was straddling it. "I need to stay in one place." He thought getting aggravated with all his moving around. He didn't want to sit was his problem-he wanted to go walking. It wouldn't bother him to much to just sit and talk to her though, for a little bit at least. "You couldn't whoop me though." He smirked trying to lighten the mood.

Lily was alway cautious. Maybe even paranoid sometimes. She couldn't help it when there were new vampire's popping into town without her knowing. It scared her in a sense. She feared their numbers would out grow theirs. "Relax, no ones around. I can't smell anything but wet dog and a mountain lion." Mountain lion? Maybe it was just her but she didn't smell a lion. She doesn't even really know what lion smelled like. "Lion? You think you smell like a lion? More like a dead lion. Yep, that's it for a few miles." she chuckled. She wasn't trying to be mean, and it was the truth, but she was also trying to throw in some humor. "Whoop me? I would dare you on that but I don't hurt girls." Yes, she was a girl. But she was also not fully human either. Even in human form her strength and speed is just as good as his. "Well let me remind you that I'm not like the other girls. I'm just as strong, if not stronger than you." she said confidently.
"That's interesting. Seems we have one thing in common, a curse. Although I have control all the time, mostly. Must suck to not know what you've done for a period of time." [/i] He was right, it did suck. But after a while it would come back to bite you in the butt. "Yeah well, it eventually comes back after you gain your strength. But sometimes you may not want to remember." The only time she had ever hurt anyone was when she was younger. A group of boys were teasing her and she grew angry. After a certain point she couldn't go back to normal, finally biting one of the boys and eventually putting him in a coma. Lily hated herself for that. She could tell by his movements he was uncomfortable. About what she didn't know. He couldn't keep still and this made Lily nervous. Maybe they just needed to walk, move their legs. She herself started to feel A.D.H.D. "You couldn't whoop me though." She laughed. He probably could but only once. The second time Lily would be sure to best him. "Yeah, we will see about that." Lily knew it wasn't his fault but she couldn't stand his stench any longer. She knew of a plant that grew just a few feet away from where they were standing. For a while, atleast, it could cover up their smells so their conversation could feel more comfortable. "Follow me. I need to get rid of this smell from my nose. There's a flower that grows here that I can rub on ourselves so, for the mean time, we can talk without smelling eachother." she stated as she picked up her basket and waved her hand as started walking.[/blockquote]

Kenny let her talk before replying. He couldn't help but laugh at the jokes she was putting out. Letting himself down from the tree and grabbing his brown guitar, he walked beside her. "I'd rather not smell flowery. I already sparkle. I don't need any more reasons for my bro to pick on me." He smirked lightly, shoving his hands in his back pants pockets. Ash seemed to really enjoy picking on Kenny for glittering in the sun; calling him gay and what not. All in good fun though. Kenny doesn't have a problem with the homosexuals but it was interesting to hear Ash go on and on about it him glittering. "Where are these flowers anyway?"
