She stood perfectly still...not making a sound. The wind blew the loose strands of red curls across her face, tickling her nose. She closed her eyes and opened her ears, listening to the stillness that surrounded her. The forest was quiet, but never empty. It was the perfect place to hunt and train, the perfect place to relax and let loose without anyone around to hear you. But unlike most, Olivia didn't come to the woods to hunt for animals..no, she brought her own game to chase. The thrill of the kill excited Olivia in ways no man ever could, the adrenaline rush was addictive as was the prize. But she didn't like to just go and kill her meal right away, instead she liked to play with it. Choosing the losers and misfits of society, she made sure to pick the ones no one would miss. She didn't care who the human was, but now that she was with the Volturi she had to become more careful. They were like fish out of water, scared, lost. Olivia could smell the fear from miles away, their heart were pounding as they ran for their lives. Little did they know they weren't going to make it out alive.
Chirp...chirp...snap. And there was one of them. Running half a mile to her left. Opening her eyes she let out an unnecessary breath and bolted towards her meal. Her eyes were black as opals, and her hunger was intense. She felt lately, by joining the Volturi, she had started to become domesticated. Growing used to being served her blood rather than hunting and killing herself, she was starting to loose her hunting skills. She couldn't afford to get rusty, not with the newborn issue at hand. Olivia knew that one day she would have to fight and she wanted to make sure she was prepared. Plus she didn't mind getting out of the house and stretching her legs some. As she drew closer the frightened human she could smell the sweat beads dripping off of his body. His panic was her drug, giving her more power to attack. Running up to him she pounced on him and braced herself on his back, His screams rang through the forest but were quickly silenced and replaced with the sound of a snap. Letting the body fall to the ground she landed with her feet on both sides of him. Now it was time to eat. Kneeling down she sunk her teeth into his neck, drinking the warm blood within him. She could feel her strength coming back to normal, she no longer felt weak and dizzy. Once he was dry she pulled away and licked the blood off her lips. The blood left her skin numb as it dripped down her chin and onto her white shirt. "Damn it." she said as she stretched out her shirt to get a better look at the stain. But then another snap soon caught her attention. It could be one of the other humans but...this scent was different. And it was close.

[/i] His thoughts trailed off. Slowly and cautiously, he made his way through the woods on high alert. The scent of the sin grew stronger as he took each step closer to the site of blood shed, as well as intertwined with the sweet scent of another being. One of the vampire's eyebrows raised onto his forehead, rather perplexed as he slowed his gait and eyed a rather thin being muttering to herself. His mind instantly become preoccupied, forcing him to completely forget his attempt to remain hidden; a twig snapped beneath his foot and obviously caught the female's attention. "Dammit Gabriel," He muttered as he sighed to himself. Shaking his head, he deciding for his own sake, to step out of his hiding spot behind a tree. Keeping his eyes on the female, he ever-so-slowly bowed his head as he came to a halt in front of her. "I don't mean any harm," He began in his suave, serene voice. "And I certainly do not wish to interrupt. I'm only passing through." He hoped the female would not attack him; he would rather not fight at all- especially because of a misunderstanding. Straightening his posture, he slipped his hands into the pockets of his blue jeans and smiled to her, acting as though she had nothing but a good reputation with him. There was no real reason to be that hesitant around her... yet. The scent of blood and the female clouded his mind as he continued to stand in front of her; Gabe could barely stay alert enough to stay focused on any real defensive maneuver in the case that she did feel threatened enough by him. "Enjoying your snack?"[/ul]

Snap. Her now burgundy eyes shot up and surveyed the area. A sweet and familiar scent overpowered the human's below her. It was a still scent meaning that the target had stopped moving, her eyes quickly found the direction it was coming from and was about to run until she was interrupted by a figure. "Dammit Gabriel," she heard a whisper in the distance. To her surprise, a man stepped from behind the tree bowing his head in a form of submission. So that was the voice she heard? She was a little disappointed at the fact it wasn't one of her meals, but quickly dismissed it once she set eyes on this hunk of meat in front of her. Standing up she stretched her legs and moved from over top the body. Pulling out a white handkerchief she wiped her mouth and placed it back in her jacket pocket. Studying his muscular features a grin formed on her pale face. Gabriel..huh? she thought to herself. He was amazingly beautiful, one perk about being a vampire. But he had a natural charm to him that made Olivia's mouth water and her body itch. "I don't mean any harm, And I certainly do not wish to interrupt. I'm only passing through." His voice was smooth like milk chocolate as the wind carried it from his pink lips to her perky ears.
He reminded her of Michael, something she often didn't like. Even his name was from the Arch Angel, just like her husband. A sharp pain shot through her as she thought about the one thing she could never have again, crippling her emotionally and mentally. "So you're names Gabriel. Like the angel. Huh...I like it." she said as she stepped over the body and walked slowly towards him, taking baby steps as she spoke. "It's okay, love. I won't bite. I've already had my fill." she joked as she pointed back to the decaying body a few feet away. She stopped a few feet away from him and placed her hands on her hips as she relaxed her posture. His tension was easily noticeable, as was his trying to hide it. She could only guess why, one of them being that he happened to come upon her in the middle of her feeding time. "Enjoying your snack?" A small chuckle escaped her lips as the corners slid up to her ears. This was more than just a snack for Olivia, it was entertainment. "Yes, and I have two more that I would like to enjoy. But seeing as they are probably gone by now I'll worry about that later. I'm more interested in learning why you are here." Olivia's deep southern voice floated its way to his ears. She knew why she was here, but she was curious as to his reasons. Outfit: emma stone<3

[/I] he out wandering the woods miles and miles from his abode? “I’m only… stretching my legs,” His voice rang again before he changed the subject in her direction, with a hint of his French accent twisting with the neutral accent of that of an American. “You certainly don’t seem as though you are from around here, mademoiselle. Trust me, I am nothing but a lonely citizen taking a walk in the woods…I can certainly let you go on your way though I do not like that idea at all.” That suave, gentle smile continued to sit on his lips.[/ul]

When she caught and brought the humans here, she was not expecting anyone to just stroll through as if they were out in the park. But then again, he was a vampire too, she could tell by his scent. This was the perfect place for any vegetarian vampire to hunt and feed off of the wild animals that lived here, but no his eyes were not the usual golden that would come from drinking animal blood. Ruby jewel's replaced the what would of been sapphire blue eyes, making her feel a bit more comfortable. They felt as if they were looking right through her tough girl exterior and into her black soul, and maybe he was, maybe that was his gift. Or maybe it was just the fact that she was not expecting anyone to be around, the surprise jump started her nerves slightly. Whatever it was it was sending chills down her spine. Red eyes or no, he did not seem like the type to kill for his food like Olivia, even with his god-like physic his laid back stature and facial features told her otherwise. Her eyes scanned his body, reading the slightest gestures and logging them into her person filing cabinet. Where she was from it was almost second nature for her to study other's movements, watching and listening to the smallest details, down South it was a matter of life and death. The sparkle in his eyes shone brighter than any star in the black sky and lips were curled into a suave smile, giving her the impression he had a more gentler nature than she did. “I’m only… stretching my legs,” Her lips curled into a smile once again. What kind of vampire just 'stretched' their legs in the middle of the woods? she thought. She at least had a valid reason, in her mind anyways, as to why she was here. But no matter what his reason was, she was glad he decided stepped on that tiny branch.
She herself was not from this area, but Gabriel seemed to be from another country all together. It was odd that earlier in the same week she met another French vampire, Brooke. She was one of the first and only golden eyed vampire Olivia had actually liked. The rest of them she didn't care much for and it was the same with them towards her. “You certainly don’t seem as though you are from around here, mademoiselle. Trust me, I am nothing but a lonely citizen taking a walk in the woods…I can certainly let you go on your way though I do not like that idea at all.” Her red stained lips parted as she exhaled the stag nit air that she held within her. Her curiosity was killing her inside, she wanted to know this perfect angel of a man, he even had the name to match. Taking a few steps towards him she linked her fingers together behind her back, never taking her eyes off his his. "You look more than just a lonely citizen to me. A lonely vampire, maybe...but I can help with that." she said with a playful smile as she stopped, now standing a only a few feet away from him she could now smell the distinct smell of cotton candy. She couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from, she thought maybe there was a carnival or something close by. No matter where it was coming from it was starting to make her mouth water. She inched her way closer to him every few moments, it was almost as if he had tied an invisible rope around her and was pulling her closer. "The name's Olivia. Care to tell me why such a first rate gentleman like yourself is out alone. Shouldn't you be with your lady?" she guessed, seeing as normally a good looking man always had a better looking woman behind him. Her old world lingo slipped out once again. Even after many years of living among the modern humans, she couldn't help but revert back to her old way of speaking.

The thought of another in his rather empty, never-ending life sewed a seed of hope with in his cold chest. Even if they were to be enemies in the end of it all, the blood-sucking beast he knew himself to be identified as just felt relieved to have some sort of contact with another being at the current moment in time. Somehow, he had been able to hold on to every piece of human life he remembered; each time he could, he would touch as many humans as possible at the college whether it was a fake yet friendly hug or a seemingly peaceful touch as they passed each other. Gabriel was desperate to keep hold of everything from his life. His peaceful eyes continued to sit on the creature before him.
Slowly he mimicked her steps, moving toward her a few steps forward. "A vampire, yes, and perhaps rather lonely," The corners of his lips continued stretching up toward his ears in a playful grin. "There is no need to help, but if you honestly wish to try by all means do. What sort of gentleman would I be to stop an independent lady from doing what she wishes?" She was certainly proving to be a distraction; Gabriel could not keep his attention on anything but learning about her. "Olivia, hm?" His eyebrow raised slightly. "What a lovely name for such a beautiful creature. And the reason why I am here? I have no lady, and thus me ending up here. I have nothing better to do." Another breath of fresh hair filled his empty chest. "And yourself? You don't have a man at your side, on his bent knee, to give you everything you wish? Certainly you are not alone..."

She closed her eyes for a moment and inhaled the sweet aroma that had been lingering in the air ever since he got there. His advances were at the same pace as her's until finally they were close enough to touch. She bit her tongue as she held back the sudden urge to pounce him. The humans blood was pumping through her body as fast as a steam powered engine, her adrenaline was still in high gear from the hunt. Olivia felt a little out of control at the moment, her natural wild vampiric urges were clawing their way out like as if there was an animal inside her. But she was prepared as always and after many years of experience, many hunts..as well as many men; she was able to fight back. "A vampire, yes, and perhaps rather lonely, There is no need to help, but if you honestly wish to try by all means do. What sort of gentleman would I be to stop an independent lady from doing what she wishes?" She fought back a small laugh but was finding it hard to contain it. He was a sweet talker, and a very good one at that.
His fiery eyes felt hot on her cold skin as if a large spotlight was place on her. Her throat started to burn slightly once again, bringing her some discomfort. Olivia grew a sudden craving to touch him. Not in any particular way, but she felt the need to feel his skin on her's. To a human it would feel cold and hard, but to Olivia it would feel like as if he was human himself. "Olivia, hm? "What a lovely name for such a beautiful creature. And the reason why I am here? I have no lady, and thus me ending up here. I have nothing better to do." She watched as his chest slightly moved as he took in a breath; she felt compelled to follow him as her chest did the same. She was fascinated with him, her eyes were permanently fixated on him the moment he showed himself. "And yourself? You don't have a man at your side, on his bent knee, to give you everything you wish? Certainly you are not alone..." Her smile widened as a faint giggle escaped her lips. What was wrong with her? She was acting like a damn school girl. "And alas...I don't. I'm alone and have been for over a century now. But what else is to happen when you become a blood drinker like I." she said, speaking as if she was still human in the 18th century. "But I often do find the comfort of a man's touch to be," Never taking her eyes off of his she extended her hand towards his lower arm and gently brushed against it, making the little hairs on her arm stand on end. "quite refreshing." she finished, a playful grin followed suit.

As their cold flesh met, the emotions poured from Olivia into Gabriel just as easy as breathing had once been for him. Her strong pull to him over took his hesitation to keep to himself. He was experiencing her hold over her laughter and he was immersed in the fight between her self and the giggles. Somehow it all made his grin spread further, if it was possible. His eyes brightened, as his chest filled with yet another airless feeling. Once more, he felt utterly human. Gabriel was so much closer to that warm life just as the two touched. Olivia’s emotions were enough to keep him high. And then he took in another deep breath of air and caught her sweet scent with in his nostrils again. It was all unbearable and overpowering; Gabriel felt as though he was in the clouds. It was all familiar, and yet different at the same time.
His own hand traveled up her arm, with his finger tips lightly dancing of her skin and up over the sleeve of her shirt. Calmly he moved some of her hair from her eyes, only to tuck it behind her ear. Their faces closer than before, Gabriel began to whisper in that suave tone once more. “A man’s touch? Or.. perhaps,” He looked deep into her eyes, still feeling the emotions flowing between their selves as easily as the breeze over his skin in the spring time, as the sun would have beat down to keep him at the most comfortable temperature. “Would you rather have a gentleman?” His own whispered caused a set of chills to run down his own spine. He was feeling rather gentle and yet playfully all in the same mood.

A sliver of breath escaped her lips as she felt his fingers dance up her arm and brushed her hair away from her face. She was glad her heart could no longer move in her chest or it would of been pounding erratically like a heart attack. Their faces were close, touching almost but yet she felt they weren't close enough. She fought back the urge to plant her lips on his, holding back with all her strength against her own will. She had just met this perfect stranger and already felt compelled to claim him as her own. His prescence excited her like no other man could during her years as a killer, making her feel alive, almost human once again with just a single touch. She couldn't imagine how his kiss would be, but she was willing to find out. Even though he tucked her hair behind her ear it fell back right into the same spot as it did before. “A man’s touch? Or.. perhaps,” His eyes penetrated her's like a bullet piercing through her skin. Perhaps what? That unfinished sentence seemed like forever as she anticipated his next move. “Would you rather have a gentleman?” His words made her giggle once more as the playful smile grew into a devilish grin. She raised the tips of her fingers to his cheek, lightly touching it as if it were a delicate flower. "Baby..you're more than a gentleman." She couldn't help but use a little bit of her powers on him, keeping him close to her. She didn't feel it was necessary at the moment, he seemed to be more than willing to get to know her, but her self control was slowly slipping from her and her instincts were taking over."You're an angel." Pulling him closer she whispered as the tips of their lips gently touched each other. Her body was paralyzed the moment her lips touched his for a moment she felt like she was falling...floating through the air like a heavy feather.
I know...its really short >< It'll get better in the next one XD

“Now that is a word I have never been called,” The words continued to stay hushed as he spoke, as he gazed into her eyes and concentrated on the feeling occurring between them. Again, out of pure, humanistic habit, his chest filled with air- rising and falling in the most rhythmic of movements. Slowly he had begun to fall from his perch on the clouds, only because his wings had been perforated by the sharp, slow kiss of her arrows. Had he still a beating heart, it surely would have stopped as their lips grazed each others’. The perfect strangers had all of a sudden become intertwined with each other; all in that very moment they had become instantly intact and Gabriel could feel it with in every piece of him. The feeling of warmth returned to him, but only briefly before his vampiric attributes chased the feeling away with teeth bared. His hand traveled to sit gently on the back of her neck as the kiss lingered for a moment longer. The fall seemed so long and yet he did not mind it one bit. Pulling away from her, breathlessly, Gabriel sighed to her with another grin as he tasted some of the remnants of the human blood on those set of soft, cold lips. “But if I could be your designated angel, I would freely and gladly do so.”

“Now that is a word I have never been called,”
[/i] His words seemed like a distant memory as she got lost in his kiss. Her red eyes were then covered by her eyelids, as she moved her hands to the back of his neck. The world around her felt like it had come to a sudden halt, the noises and sounds around her were quickly silenced by a soft violin melody being played within her head. This feeling was all too familiar to her...but yet also foreign. Not only moments ago she did not even know that beautiful man existed, but even now, with only a few words exchanged between them..she couldn't remember how she lived without knowing he was in this world. After what felt like forever, the minute kiss came to an end as he pulled his luscious lips away. Her lips felt cold and bare without his to keep them warm, she didn't like the feeling at all. But his voice would ease her troubled mind once again, making her body melt like liquid chocolate over a open flame. “But if I could be your designated angel, I would freely and gladly do so.” She opened her eyes to look into his, she could see both the man and the animal inside him. Olivia was taught that the eyes were the windows to your soul...and Olivia strongly agreed. Leaning her forehead against his she let stared into his eyes as if they were hypnotizing her with swirls of black and white. "I wouldn't want it any other way, darlin'" she whispered as if they were hiding from someone.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

It had been more than one lifetime since Olivia had been in the arms of a man that she had actually grew feelings for rather than just a one night stand. Or was this what it would eventually turn out to be? She strongly hoped not, but knowing vampire's it would not be a surprise if it did end that way. But how could it not end in a different way, it had seemed that the one person Olivia had hated for most of her immortal life..had actually found love himself. The last she had heard Jasper was with a veggie vampire named Alice, a small pixie like woman that had the power of sight. Olivia knew the real Jasper...or atleast the animal he kept held inside. If it was possible for him to settle down and change then maybe Olivia could. "And so, Where do we go from here? Do we continue on as though we have known each other for years and years, only to play romance whenever we so chose? Or is this all some dream of which I shall wake up from in a matter of moments, as though I am human once more?" His words cut through her like a butterknife to butter. Was he having the same doubts as she was? Before this, Olivia had never had a doubt in her mind she was never in the situation she was in now. How how bad she wanted him, to claim him as her prize in a sense. But who was this beautiful man standing before her? Where did he come from..when did he come from? The curiosity was killing her inside, she had to know why he had such a strong effect on her. "Do you think that this is all it is? A dream?" she said softly as her fingers gently played with the hairs on his arms. "Well honey...if this is all just a dream I don't want to wake up from it." For a moment her lips touched his again, making her body go completely numb from any feelings at all. She felt like she was in one of those cheesy romance novels written by lonely women who could only dream about the things Olivia has had in real life. Maybe he was right...maybe this was all just a figment of her imagination and maybe their night together will end when the sun shone over the horizon. But that didn't mean she wasn't going to use all her power to keep him here with her after the fact. Moving her hand down she placed her petite fingers around his and pulled their bodies away. Taking a few steps away she held onto his hand, almost pulling him with her. "Come take a walk with me, love. I want to hear about every detail of your life. Even the small stuff." she said with a smile and a twinkle in her eye.

Quickly as she pulled away from his, the feeling resonating with in him dissipated and left him alone, to return to his cold state. She had certainly sensed and found the doubt beneath his exterior, swimming with in the depths of his eyes; he had no problems with this. Let her find the doubt and let her breathe it in, for she needed to understand everything he was and everything he felt. If this indeed be a dream, hopefully it would only end with the happiest of thoughts and images. Hopefully his creator and wielder would be found kind enough to allow him this one wish, if only it be the only wish he was ever granted. When she spoke of him and her need to know every intricate detail about himself, Gabriel felt the need to flash another soft smile down to her shimmering face. Intertwining his fingers with hers as she pulled at his hand, he chuckled to breathe another strand of nearly poetic words. "If this is a dream, let us experience every moment of it we have together and in smiles and happiness. Let there not be a moment of wasted time, even if time is all we have to give."
There as something about her that caused his speech to come easily to him, more so than usual. Every word that which crossed his mind felt like a poem with in itself. Once more, he could feel the faint remnants of a heart beat in his chest. He wished to grab at it, only to find that he was in fact human once more. As his mind wandered again, he felt the compelling pull of her essence again, pushing him to move with her; and so he did. Moving to walk beside of her in the calmest of gaits, Gabriel began to speak on himself though he only cared about listening to her. "I've only been like this for a few years. My cousin turned me, and it was because I was diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease... I was damned to die unless she saved me. My parents died when I was younger, and at that time I had been living in Paris with them, where I was born. Feeling the utter need to get away from that place and find fulfillment in my human life, thus my move here- with my cousin." He laughed at himself; he sounded like a complete, teenage fool. Shaking his head from side to side, he moved to continue. "Other than those little details, I am nothing but a boring, simple vampire who is living in a time he will never truly be able to grasp- searching for the fulfillment he can never find."
Another laugh escaped his throat as he squeezed her hand slightly, gazing over at her while they walked side by side. "And what about yourself? I would very much enjoy learning all I can about you... through your emotions or through information you willingly give me."

"I've only been like this for a few years. My cousin turned me, and it was because I was diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease... I was damned to die unless she saved me. My parents died when I was younger, and at that time I had been living in Paris with them, where I was born. Feeling the utter need to get away from that place and find fulfillment in my human life, thus my move here- with my cousin."
[/i] he started as they slowly walked through the silent woods. Even though her feet were stepping in front of another she felt like she was floating, hovering above the solid earth. "Other than those little details, I am nothing but a boring, simple vampire who is living in a time he will never truly be able to grasp- searching for the fulfillment he can never find." She chuckled at the thought of him being just a simple and boring vampire. How could he be what he claims to be when she was already amazed with him the moment she laid eyes on him. "And what about yourself? I would very much enjoy learning all I can about you... through your emotions or through information you willingly give me." She was finally able to gather the strength to pull her gaze away from him, moving it to her feet and the ground below her. Her past wasn't as short and simple as his, although dying from a brain disease wasn't something Olivia would of enjoyed either. "I'm sorry you had to go through that." she muttered. But deep inside Olivia felt it was fate, he was meant to become a vampire so that one day she could finally meet him. Or that's atleast what she wanted to believe. Taking in a deep unneccessary breath she moved her gaze back to him and pondered on his question. "Well...unfortunetly my life has been alot longer than just a few years." she grinned as she let out the breath that she held in her throat. "I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. My mother was a house slave. She was West African...but she was also Native American, so instead of being an outside worker they kept her indoors. My father was from London, a finance associate at the Second Bank of the United States," she said proudly as if his position had actually mattered. "I had a brother, but he died. That's a different story for another time." she continued. Her voice softened as she held back the memory of her reckless brother. Of course the cruel death's of her parent's were just as heart breaking as her brothers, but Olivia had already come to the conclusion that their death's were decided by fate. Her brother's on the other hand, was the decision of someone less deserving. Maybe that was why his death was so much harder for her to get over. She watched them pull her brother apart like a dog would tear a chew toy and burn the pieces in the campsite fire. Olivia could of saved him, him being the damsel in distress and she could be his knight. But she was too late, they had already gotten to him before she could sneak him away, whether he would of actually went with her was completely on him. But she still felt guilty, as if she responsible for his death even if she wasn't the one to actually carry out the deed. No, she could of done more to save him, she could of found a way out of the guards grip as they made her watch her brother's demise but she didn't and now she had to live for the rest of eternity, or at least until someone decided to end it for her, to find and kill the demon responsible. "When I had just turned twenty I met Michael..my husband. But then the Civil War broke out in the South and he was drafted and killed, leaving me alone and childless. Shortly after my idiot brother lost the deeds to the house thus leaving me homeless. So I traveled and wandered around for a while. I eventually ended up working in a brothel somewhere in Texas. That's where I met my sire, my creator. He told me he was lonely...and needed a companion. So I listened and followed. I was with him my first year...but after that he left. And I have yet to see him since."[/b] she rambled on, not even realizing she was saying more than she had originally wanted to. She knew it was a sad story, a story she would never wish on anyone. The bond between her and Michael was strong and pure. They completed each other's sentences, could read each other's thoughts and feelings, and they almost always agreed on everything..except for his decision to go to war. He was the love of her life, her soul, body and heart. She vowed to him her life and love, forever and always until death do they part. Little did she know that death would actually separate them. Like normal couples if your loved one dies you would just wait until the day you can join them, but for Olivia that would never happen. Olivia would forever live alone and heartbroken, she thought she would never feel complete again. At least until now. She decided to leave out the parts of her life that were the most violent, she was an animal even more so than he had already seen from earlier. Olivia never realized it before she wasn't one to really think about why she did certain things, she just always claimed it to be her nature. But deep down that was not the case. For more than a century she tortured, maimed and fed off of countless humans around the U.S, mainly in the South in the hopes that they would help ease the remorse for her brother, and her family. Just like her father, but on a bigger scale, she would take it all out on the world, punishing them the way she wanted to be punished. The pain and torture she inflicted on other's mimicked the pain and suffering she was going through within herself. She fought an internal battle with the demon that plague her but failed miserably every time. There was no telling how he would react if he found out she had actually destroyed family's..and cities, but all out of blinding rage. Rage from her brother's murder, the rage that was now slowly starting to fade.[/blockquote][/blockquote] I added a little more if you dont mind^^
