Carly Dana ReidCharacter Play-by: Haley Bennett
name: Carly Dana Reid age: Sixteen (16) gender: Female orientation: Straight race: Human birthplace: San Jose, California current location: Forks, Washington occupation: Student - Part-time Barista
personality:
Carly's a little quiet and shy type of girl. She usually prefers being alone, a choice to be a loner. She has no problem mingling with other people but her situation made her like that. But beyond that, she's a bubbly and fun to talk with. Sometimes she's a little straight and tend to hurt other people's feelings for being honest and straight but Carly knows how to apologize, especially if she means no harm.
Carly hates being disturbed when she's doing something important, like reading or writing a novel which she loves to keep on her own. She's a good writer but she's not that brave to show and have it read by someone. People find her friendly once they got to know her and one thing impressive about her is that she's a very loyal friend. She's opinionated and loves debate, not that she's looking for someone to argue with. Another remarkable about her is that she takes her studies seriously.
detailed history:
Born on August 3rd in San Jose California, Carly Dana Reid is an answered prayer to couples Carson and Dean Reid. Carson is already forty and Dean was forty five when they had Carly and never expected that they’ll be blessed with a beautiful child. That is why Carly was treated like a princess by her parents but she never took advantage of it to become a spoiled brat. She’s fully aware that she’s getting things she no longer needs or is too much. She was seven when she received a room full of toys which she decided to donate it to the less fortunate for the kids to have a great Christmas. Carly was raised well by her parents and just like her parents she’s family oriented.
She attended a prestigious school where she encountered bunch of bullies. One time she was cornered by them and was forcing her to give all her money and expensive bag and of course she didn’t gave in easily that’s why they hurt her but instead of running back home and tell everything to her parents, she stood up and fought. There were four of them so she’s definitely outnumbered but despite that she did not surrender and kept on fighting. Later she went home and since she cannot hide the bruises she got her parents discovered everything and was so mad that they wanted to talk to those students’ parents which she highly opposed ‘cause it would only make her look vulnerable.
Since then Carly knew she needs to be tough to be able to defend herself. Three years back Carly and her parents were on their way to go hiking. The usual thing they do during summer. They decided to camp out that night and enjoy the bonfire. She stayed on a separate tent and that night she was awakened by her mother’s scream. She was so scared to go out but she thought they might need help badly so she went out anyway not knowing what’s happening. There she saw her father lying there, all white like blood was sipped out of his body, she was about to go to her father when her mother screamed and stopped her. There were four unknown people, she can’t see their faces very well but the with the way they dressed it’s like they’ve been from 1900’s, very old fashioned.
Carly heard a husky voice from one of the people who’s killed her father and now her mother “The little one’s mine.”. She can’t scream but tears are falling down her cheeks both from being so terrified and to what these people had done to her parents. The man was approaching her as she slowly walked backwards and quickly ran she knew that she’ll be caught soon so she picked up a rock and throw it at him. “Stay away from me” she says and when he was about to jump right at her a huge dog came and stashed the guy away from her. That was her last memory of the tragic event, she woke up in a hospital and her Aunt Meg was there. The police said those were probably drug addicts but she knew there was something different.
Now, Carly transferred in Forks hoping that living away from her relatives would make her forget about what happened where she could start a new life.

roleplay sample: Green fields. It was her dream that night. In the green fields there’s her mom and dad. She ran towards them but for some reason it seems like she’s not reaching them at all. Like she’s walking in place, not moving or going anywhere. But they were smiling, waving at her and telling her they love her. She waved backed and then everything went black. She panicked. Then she heard a scream. She doesn’t know where it’s coming from but it sounded like her mom. ”Mom? Mom?” she yelled. But no one answered. She woke up, sweat in her forehead’s almost dripping. There it again, her mother’s scream but this time it wasn’t a dream. It’s real. She quickly went out of her tent to see what is it about and there she saw her father, drop dead. Her mother’s being held in the arm by a woman in old dress.
Carly was shaking in fear. She had no idea who these guys are and what they need but she knows for sure that they had no reason to murder her parents. She knows her parents had lived a clean and normal life even before she came. Everyone loved her parents, they’re nice and helpful with others. Very kind to be killed like that. She looked at the man’s eyes. It was dark but she can see the reflection, it was red. She thought if he’s wearing contacts to have such effect in his eyes or was he just so high. The man was about to jumped at her when a big dog jumped from her behind and stashed him away.
"Help..." Then she fainted.
